We had a fabulous 3 night stay at the Hard Rock Hotel Marbella. The staff on reception were always really helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Ignore the people complaining about having to pay a deposit when you arrive, this is only if you want to charge items to your room. If you are happy to pay for drinks etc as you have them, you do not need to pay anything extra. Our room was spotlessly clean and the complimentary cans of water were a welcome touch. The rooms are well soundproofed and we could not hear any of the outside noise. The two pool areas are fantastic, we spent each day around the main pool area (as the music is louder there and it has a more lively vibe). The staff around the pool were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. The rooftop pool is also lovely, it has a more chilled and laid back atmosphere. The buffet breakfast was excellent, there was so much choice and everything was fresh. We will definitely recommend this hotel and can’t wait for our next visit

We had a nice stay, but the highlight of our experience was definitely Bouchta, the chef at the dinner buffet. He was always smiling, genuinely kind and incredibly positive. You could see how much he cared about every guest, always doing his best to accommodate requests and going the extra mile to make everyone happy. His passion and warm attitude truly represent what hospitality is all about. Thank you, Bouchta!

I had an incredible experience at the Hard Rock Hotel event on the 14th of June with Loco Bongo. I went with my girls and we booked the VIP big roof sunbed next to the pool and from start to finish everything was amazing. We were warmly welcomed at the entrance by the manager and personally escorted to our area, which immediately set the tone for a luxury experience. The setup was beautiful, with bottle service presented in a stunning floating display that made everything feel extra special. The food and drinks were great nachos, burgers, fries, cocktails, beers, and mojitos, gin and tonic all constantly refreshed and served quickly by attentive staff. The entertainment was next level, with performers coming right to our sunbed, interacting with us, and even doing a mini performance just for us, which made the night feel so personal and unforgettable. Overall, the service was outstanding and the whole experience was luxury, fun, and pure vibes. Definitely one of the best nights I’ve had – I’ll 100% be back. 🫶🏾

I loved everything about this hotel. The staff were excellent, the balcony views were beautiful, and there was visible security throughout the property. However, I did notice sex workers in the lobby. They seemed to enter through the beach access with guests and would wait near the elevators. While this may not be entirely under the hotel’s control, it was something I noticed during my stay. The location is not that close to puerto banus as it seemed via the map, it as 15-20mins walking I also wasn’t a fan of the wristband system. I stayed for four nights, so I had to shower and tan with the wristband on the entire time. As a Muslim, it also made performing wudu (ablution) less convenient. Another issue was that the wristband didn’t always work on the first try. From both a security and convenience standpoint, I don’t think it’s the best solution. If someone were following you, needing to stop and repeatedly scan the wristband before the door unlocked could be frustrating and potentially unsafe. Traditional key cards would be a more reliable and efficient option.

I want to especially outline the restaurant service and stuff. They are absolutely amazing people! Always polite, respectful, friendly and helpful. They food is just amazing as well, Chef Bouchta is making stunning food, especially grilled sea bass and meant, he’s always helping with everything there and is being highly professional. I’m absolutely grateful for the experience at the restaurant every time I come for dinner or breakfast. Those amazing professionals just took my heart and soul!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!

What an amazing hotel! On arrival we were greeted by super friendly staff and were checked in by Tyler who was absolutely superb. He explained all of the amenities in the hotel and offered to book reservations for us for anything we wanted to do. The hotel itself is luxurious and classy, food and drinks all excellent. The pool is stunning and we thoroughly enjoyed the DJ’s playing around the pool in the afternoons. No sunbed wars, just very chilled and relaxed atmosphere. Rooms are beautiful with high quality bedding and toiletries, we had a fabulous view over both pools. Literally cannot fault any aspect of the hotel. The staff are all fun and friendly and cannot do enough for you, our room was cleaned every day by very smiley cleaners! We even had a bottle of bubbly waiting for us in our room as we were celebrating our anniversary. We were made to feel special for the whole visit and can’t recommend this amazing hotel enough. Special thanks to Tyler for the welcome he gave us and the top notch service. We will definitely be back. 11/10

My experience at this hotel was absolutely terrible, mainly because of Adriana and the reception manager. I was traveling with my child, and the reception staff refused to let us check in because my daughter’s age in their system was slightly different from the age on her passport. She is a child, and this has never been an issue at any hotel I’ve stayed at before. Instead of handling the situation professionally, Adriana and the reception manager were rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to help. They embarrassed me in front of other guests and forced me to pay an extra €200 per night. When I said I would rather cancel my stay and asked for my money back so I could book another hotel, they refused. I was even told, “If you don’t like it, leave the hotel.” That is one of the most disrespectful things I’ve ever heard from hotel staff. As if that wasn’t enough, the room was full of mosquitoes, and the cleanliness was far below the standard expected from this hotel. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Adriana and the reception manager made what should have been a pleasant family trip incredibly stressful and humiliating. I would never stay here again and would strongly advise others to avoid this hotel.

Great hotel, very nice friendly staff, rooms were very spacious and very clean, pool temperature was nice, lunch ( all inclusive) on the patio was very good, pick off the menu, great choices. Nice to have a laugh carte and not have a buffet at lunch. Dinner was good, something for everyone, not the biggest selection but good enough. Staff around the pool were very friendly. Location was ok, 15-20min gentle walk into Puerto Banus. Cocktails poolside were very good, in plastic glasses of course for safety, and decent plastic glasses. Gym small but adequate.

We stayed at Iberostar Selection Marbella Coral Beach for a girls weekend and had a really lovely experience.||The location was ideal for us, as it is close to both Puente Romano and Puerto Banus. the room was quite big so it was really comfortable, and all the staff we met were soo friendly and helpful.||Breakfast was probably our favourite part of the stay. There was a lot to choose from, the fresh avocados were amazing, and we also really appreciated the late breakfast option after going out the night before hehe :)||Overall, we had a great stay and would happily come back :))

Having read so many positive reviews before booking our stay at Iberostar Selection Marbella Coral Beach, my expectations were incredibly high. I am thrilled to say that the hotel not only met them but managed to exceed them in every possible way! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the wonderfully kind and attentive staff. The cleanliness throughout the entire property is flawless and deserves a special mention. Another highlight for us was the food, as the quality and variety at both breakfast and dinner were absolutely outstanding. As a delightful bonus, we loved the resident turtles in the enclosure between the rooms, which was such a unique and charming touch! If there is one area where the hotel could improve, it is enforcing restaurant etiquette during dinner. The hotel has a dress code, yet we witnessed guests sitting down for dinner in wet swimwear and flip-flops. Additionally, some guests were loudly watching videos on their phones without headphones, disrupting the lovely ambiance, and the staff unfortunately did not intervene. I highly recommend that the team gently reminds guests to respect the rules and the comfort of others. However, despite this minor issue, it would be unfair to deduct any points because the overall quality, hospitality, and atmosphere are undeniable. This hotel hands down deserves a full 5-star rating and we will definitely be back!

We stayed for 7 nights as a family and, unfortunately, left disappointed. Due to a booking error, we had to amend our reservation on arrival and ended up paying over £5,100 for our stay. While I completely understand paying more for additional guests, I was surprised that this price was for a standard double room rather than a junior suite or a more spacious family room. At this price point, we expected a truly premium experience. Sadly, the service and facilities didn’t reflect the amount we paid. Check-in was stressful, and although our luggage was taken to our room after check-in, there was no assistance from the taxi to reception despite my husband having a broken foot. The pool area and sun loungers were often not as clean as expected, the filtered water stations tasted unpleasant enough that we bought bottled water from the supermarket opposite, and some of the daytime bar staff came across as unfriendly. In contrast, the younger members of staff were excellent, friendly and a real credit to the hotel. As a family, we were also surprised by the lack of activities for children during our stay. Overall, this isn’t a terrible hotel, but it simply didn’t deliver the level of service, comfort or attention to detail that we expected for a holiday costing over £5,100. There are many positives, particularly the younger staff, but unfortunately the overall experience did not justify the price we paid.

For a hotel that costs minimum 800 euro per night I expect more. It’s hard to relax by the pool since there’s loud party music from early morning. The breakfast doesn’t have fresh berries and you have to pay extra for the à la carte menu as well as ordering small amenities such as hand cream / face cream to the room. I just expect a little bit more from paying this much and hope it changes the last days we’re here

A luxury escape. It’s so peaceful and decadent with a relaxed vibe. 3rd time staying here. Rooms are beautifully done. The daily yoga and Pilates was a bonus and the instruction was to a very good standard. The staff are all lovely and welcoming. The gardens are immaculately kept. My only negatives would be that we spent a lot of time by the pool and we were driven mad by the repetitive playlist. Please bring back the club sandwich at the pool.

A truly exceptional hotel. We stayed two nights for our wedding anniversary and were upgraded to a beautiful bungalow with a private terrace opening straight onto the gardens — green, quiet and completely peaceful. The staff had noted the occasion and marked it with a handwritten letter, cake and wine waiting in the room, along with countless small gestures throughout our stay that felt genuine rather than routine. We never left the property once; everything we could want was already there, and we happily worked our way through every restaurant on site. The kitchen is serious. They even set up an enormous screen for the World Cup with a fantastic atmosphere. Worth every euro, and we’ll be back. Could be improved: Honestly very little. The cocktails at the pool bar in the late afternoon were the one thing that didn’t match the standard of everything else — a small training matter, and easily fixed.

An amazing Dining Experience at Boho Club Marbella From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into a warm, stylish atmosphere that perfectly combines elegance with a relaxed bohemian vibe. The service was impeccable throughout the evening. Every member of the staff was attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly, making us feel like valued guests rather than just customers. A special mention goes to the restaurant manager, whose warm, approachable, and highly professional attitude truly elevated the experience. For starter, I chose the Smoked Beef Tenderloin, served with a delicate Vitello Tonnato sauce, capers, and pickled onions. The beef was beautifully tender with a subtle smoky flavour, while the creamy tuna sauce added richness without overpowering the dish. As my main course, I had the Iberian Pork with green pepper, scallions, and chive oil. The pork was exceptionally juicy, tender, and full of flavour. To finish, I ordered the Cheesecake, described as a creamy cheese blend with a crispy cookie crust. It was the perfect ending to the meal. The entertainment deserves special recognition as well. Throughout dinner, we enjoyed amazing singer, later evening continued with DJ set, which made party atmosphere. Boho Club offers much more than good food. It’s complete experience where outstanding cuisine, exceptional service, beautiful surroundings, and high-quality entertainment.

Me and my 14 year old son, came a little bit earlier than the tee time, but the staff accommodated us with a couple of players from Denmark, who were very nice and understanding. absolutely avarage. Over priced. Played one year ago and paid around 120. Today around 200. I know the hotel have been renovated etc but not the course. Asked in the pro shop before the round about the shape. Got the answer that it was amazing, best in the area, one of the best in spain. I have played most courses in the area. He might thougt I was i first time tourist or so,. Can easily rate 20 courses on the course thar are better. It’s not a bad course but for the price the value is terrible. Avarage shape, greens are fast but bumpy. Pin at no 10 was put in a slope where the ball couldnt stop. “best in the area”, if you know what you are doing youre not butting a pin in such spot.

Golf course is good but far from excellent. However the service and food is extremely bad. We visited with a group of 12 for annual golf trip. We arrived 2 hours before tee time. It took the staff 45minutes to give us a table and serve us 8 beer and 4 jugs of sangria. We had to chase after them to order food and ended up having to rush to the tee box. We had already planned to eat dinner aswell. 12 out of the 12 ordered plates were inedible and we ended up not eating. We spent €1400 euro for dinner and will never ever recommend this golf club to anyone.

Good but you need to pay for the real experience. The room + breakfast option is fine for a few nights. The waiters in the restaurant we’re very attentive but the food was a bit less spectacular as we thought after seeing the luxury of the entrance. Same goes for the rooms, you need to pay extra for a better view. The pool was great, sometimes not enough chairs but only during peak times. The looks of the hotel are really good and you get to taste the rich life. Pretty decent experience, not bad but not fantastic either (if you have the simplest package). Besides that, everything was clean and it’s really easy to get to the harbor by a underground passage, just a 5-10 minute walk.

Quite a lovely hotel with excellent rooms although I found the beds a tad short as I am tall but they are comfy and the rooms are quite clean with new towels and sheets each day even though I tried to indicate I’m happy to re-use towels and sheets. I did not make use of amenities as I spent most times out hence cannot provide any feedback. The staff are quite polite and helpful except from a few rules which I found hilarious such as, we don’t provide plates or cutlery to avoid encouraging outside food. To conclude, I will say the breakfast spread is a long way better than average even exceeds standards you find in a 4 star hotel in the UK. However, I think the omelette stations staff need more training 😉 All in all, great stay and deserves 4 stars.

The weather was good enough for bikinis but the pool too cold to swim.. if U jump in make sure u can touch the bottom of the pool … or there is someone yo save u as U clamp up and sink… freezing.. saw a few tipsy visitors suffer without help of a lifeguard.. no need really as not that deep but when it’s that cold U should be careful. Anyway……. we had a great time.. nothing was too big an ask.. staff are 7* premium… reception, waiting bar and breakfast… an fab… didn’t do dinner here but no doubt it rocked !! Will return 200%

Beautiful hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good and you can choose different places to have it – inside 2 different rooms and outside the same. Didn’t try the buffet but heard is good. They also have a restaurant a la carte very good. It’s 5m walk from the beach but you also have the swimming pool as an option plus indoor pool, spa and gym. Ah, and for the ones looking for some gambling, casino is literally 1 step from you..you’d almost think it’s part of the hotel.

Very nice hotel with incredible breakfast buffet. Hotel is a short walk from Puerto Banus and is well-served by a rank of taxis just outside the front door so its easy to get around. A lot of recent work has clearly been done to refurbish the ground floor and communal areas. However, the upper floors were a bit dated and could use some attention. We stayed in a standard twin room on the 1st floor. Our bathroom door did not shut as the lock was broken. Our friends were staying in the room next door and during our stay the lock on their bathroom door also broke. Overall still felt it was good value for money, although we were there in the off-season (November).

Not many hotels I can say gave us 14 nights of 5 star service when lockdown ends we will be booking 14 nights of excellence

the hotel was in an excellent location. It was clean and the staff were very helpful. pool was a bit on the small side but that said i used the beach everyday which is right outside the hotel. the food was excellent with great choice. i had a front sea view room which was lovely just wish it was bit higher up, but the room it self was clean and had everything you needed. i would recommend this hotel and will book here again.

Just back from our 10th stay at Puerto Azul, and it truly remains our favourite place to stay in Marbella. We visit around three times a year, and whether we’ve come as a family of four, a couple, or even a group of ten, every stay has been consistently fantastic. The atmosphere is always calm, welcoming and relaxing.||The location couldn’t be better for us. We love being close to Playa del Faro and Puerto Deportivo de Marbella — perfect for the beach, the bars and the great choice of restaurants.||The cleanliness is exceptional. No matter what time of day you leave your room, you always return to fresh towels and perfectly made beds. We’ve stayed in both front‑facing and side‑facing rooms, and every one has been clean, spacious and comfortable. Even on the street side, noise has never been an issue.||The staff are wonderful — always smiling, friendly and genuinely helpful. The Sirocco restaurant on the ground floor is brilliant for lunch, offering three courses for under 20 euros, which is amazing value.||If I had to mention one tiny negative, it would be that the beds are a little on the firm side, but it’s certainly not enough to stop us returning.||Already counting down to our next stay in five weeks time.

The property is well maintained and the front desk team is incredibly helpful. However, at a rate exceeding $260/night, guests should expect basic resort perks like complimentary beach towels, etc. Additionally, housekeeping operations are rigid; rooms are skipped if not available when the attendant passes, and no service or towel replenishment is available after 16:00, which detracts from the value.|After I mentioned the problem with the towels on hotel site, I’ve got the answer:|”as part of our policy … towel changes are not scheduled for stays of up to 4 nights”|I think this is outrageous!!!

Friendly reception staff and very helpful. Had a minor problem with air con and they fixed it within the hour.|Lovely side view studio room 305 near beach end of hotel was perfect. Very spacious, big balcony, well equipped kitchen. Air con free and was brilliant.|Pool with sunloungers but didn’t use as went to beach.|Restaurant on ground floor if want breakfast buffet 14 euros or order other things if don’t want full buffet.|To walk out back of apartments straight on to promenade and beach directly there was perfect. Sunloungers with fixed parasols 25 euros for 2 people on the beach.|Bus from airport to Marbella bus station 7 euros then taxi to Puerta azul 8 euros.|I stayed here 13 years ago and wasn’t dissapointed for my 2nd visit.|No negatives which is very rare and looking forward to returning||Plenty of nice bars:restaurants 2 minutes walk.|18 minute walk to Old Town which has lovely walkways, restaurants, shops etc.

Location and service was on point. Only thing I recommend is to buy your coffee if you’re a coffee lover. There is a market right in front of the hotel. Location is perfect, but the rooms where a bit odd, two twin beds complicated the couple sleeping. But it was clean and ocean view in most of the rooms.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel. The pool area was amazing and perfect for relaxing. The apartments were huge, incredibly spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.||The beds were very comfortable, and the large wardrobes provided plenty of storage space. The bathroom was also a great size, modern, and well-maintained.||What really made our stay special was the hotel staff. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed.||Overall, a wonderful experience and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

We had an excellent family stay at Aparthotel Monarque Sultán over the weekend, which included a six-year-old child. The location was perfect, only a five-minute walk to the beach, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops nearby. The facilities were excellent, but more importantly, the room felt more like a fully furnished apartment than a hotel room. The size of the accommodation was superb, giving us plenty of space to relax comfortably as a family. The grounds, gardens, terraces, and pool area were beautifully maintained and created a really peaceful atmosphere throughout the stay. The outdoor pool area was very well laid out, although it was a little too cold for an early morning dip during our visit. Thankfully, the indoor pool more than made up for it and was well worth using instead. The hotel was ideal for families, very relaxing, and perfectly located for both the beach and local amenities. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will definitely be stopping here again in the future.

We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment and were thoroughly impressed with every aspect of our stay. The apartment was fantastic, spacious, comfortable and maintained to an exceptionally high standard and in an amazing location with everything that Marbella has to offer within easy walking distance. Both the apartment and the hotel as a whole were spotlessly clean throughout our visit. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived, which made us feel at home straight away. We experienced a couple of very minor maintenance issues during our stay, but the response was swift and the problems were resolved immediately, demonstrating the excellent level of customer service provided by the team. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would not hesitate to return. We will certainly be visiting again and would highly recommend this hotel to others.

Great location and room has kitchen and washing machine for clothes. Laundry drying rack on big balcony.24/7 front deskGymPool Spa Location is the best! Only 1 block from beach and walking distance to everything.A few negatives were that there was a strange fishy smell in our room and the toilet button to flush was difficult to flush. Would have liked more towels as well. Washcloth and extra bath towels. Iron didn’t work either. Better coffee options and some bottled water would have been nice too. Otherwise,  would definitely return to this location.

Overall lovely apartments, big and spacious. Maids need to clean a bit more thoroughly as dirty cups/glasses are left. Maybe in an apartment that is the case. Tea and coffee are not replenished daily. Beds and towels are replaced daily. Staff are lovely and very accommodating. Pool is not heated so very cold. We would stay here again tho as great location and lovely apartments and friendly staff

Room was.very large, full kitchen, everything worked, very clean, just a few.minor signs of old.age. breakfast was.great and only 15 euros for a full selection. Location is great in best area of Marbella. About 20 minute walk to old.town, 2 minutes to the beach promenade with many restaurants. There is free street parking usually, more available after 5.pm, or walk a block to the roundabout in front of the convention center, almost always available there, look for areas with a white line, free public parking. The room was very quiet. Really great choice and good value place.

Very disappointing experience. The room did not meet basic standards of comfort or ventilation, and caused physical discomfort, so we left on the same day. We were initially told a refund would be provided, but this was later denied. I would not recommend this accommodation.

The location is perfect next to the center of Marbella and beaches. It has secured parking on-site (free when I went there), a big swimming pool, huge communal spaces with sofas and tables, a microwave for you to use (as there’s no kitchen it is well appreciated) and some pool tables. The staff was very pleasant and welcoming. Included breakfast was great considering it’s included in the 19€ bed rate. Room was basic but comfortable with a nice powerful shower. Towels and soap were provided for free (not sure if it’s always the case or just an off-season thing).|Would certainly recommend!

We paid 120€ for a room, we chose this stay because of the swimming pool but it was closed. Our room was basic, the door of the bathroom did not work, we didnt have soap or shower gel. We had to pull the sheets for ourselves. The guy at the reception was very nice, the location was good. To sum up the room was basic, it wouldnt be a problem, but for 120€ it is.

The good thing is in the old town and near to the sea, although the rooms are okay but the breakfast is really bad nothing they have offer. The pool is really good. With the low price this place can be the best choice

Very close to city center. Very hot water. Nice view from the window (the sea). Nice area. Good reccomendations from the staff. We took our room on booking and it seems that if we wanted to receive the price we contracted we needed a tourist card. Otherwise we needed to pay 2euros per person. Though, the person at reception was very nice and helped us. The best point is it’s location. Very good. I would definitely stay there again.

This is one place that is at a walking distance to both the bus station and the old town. Decent and clean room. Good shower. You have a swimming pool and a tennis court, though I did not see anyone using it. The negative is the breakfast – terrible quality. Better eat outside.
