Used to be a good company a few years ago but unfortunately my experience with them now is that they are totally unreliable. MY ADVICE WOULD NOW BE TO AVOID THEM. Now waiting for my 4th appointment to repair one of the outside cameras. 1st appointment: the technician was unable to fix the problem and didn’t have a replacement camera with him. 2nd appointment A technician showed up (late) but again did not have the correct equipment with him I was assured that they would definitely bring a new camera to the next appointment. 3rd appointment This time the technician didn’t even bother to show up. I called at the end of the 2-hour window to find out when he would be arriving and I was told that the appointment would need to be cancelled because they did not have the correct equipment. Was assured that a supervisor would call me within 30 mins but still waiting for the call 24 hrs later!! I’m sure this review will be met with the standard customer services template trying to create the impression that Securitas takes its clients seriously but, in my experience, they do not.

We have several sites with Securitas and it is by far the worst company we have ever dealt with. You alarm will mean nothing and it will protect nothing. We have had technician repairing devices several times in the last six months and it is broken again. We have had unauthorized sntey to the property. The way they manage it is through call center so everytime you call or are being called is from different person so you have to restart the whole explanation from zero. Between the moment person entered the property and the police was called almost two hours have passed. There is not one person with decision making power you can speak to, only call center agents. They are absolutely useless company. If you think of hiring Securitas to protect your company – dont. It will not protect you. It will just consume your nerves, your time and your wallet.

Be warned. Do not believe what your Securitas/Verisure rep tells you in Spain, re squatters blah blah blah!! Also if you sell your property they will find a solution if the buyers won’t take over the contract. They won’t. Also do not let them use the existing equipment already in the house. I took out a two year contract and Giuseppe did not put new equipment in, he used the existing equipment and just reprogrammed it to English. I have had to sell my house due to personal circumstances after 11 months. I have 13 months to pay 650€. I received notification that to cancel I have to pay 1000€ (Willy Piñango)!!! He said I have to pay for the new equipment that was installed!!! It was already there. Make sure you get in writing that they are using the existing equipment!! It wasn’t new!!! I refused and said I was willing to pay 350€ in total as they will remove the equipment. The buyer works for Securitas apparently so he will probably remove and sell it because he gets a system free!! They are crooks, especially the guy selling you the system. He did not install new equipment and I am not paying for it. Be very aware. You probably don’t even need the system. Mine is constantly having problems. DISGUSTING!!! Just look at all the 1 star reviews!!!

Digging without service. The people who work inside do nothing to make their security service work. I have a problem with this company 2-3 times a month. The system is not working and the company cannot fix it. If you are robbed when the alarm system was not working, no one in this company is interested either! The service is terrible, the attitude towards customers is also terrible. People hang up or switch to their colleagues who also can’t do anything! I do not recommend anyone to use the services of this company!
