We stayed at this hotel with our family for 12 days in July and had a wonderful experience. The service was outstanding from check-in to check-out. The staff at reception, the restaurants, and throughout the hotel were always friendly, professional, and ready to help. Any request was handled quickly, and when we had an issue with our room, it was changed immediately without any hassle. The rooms were clean, the beds were extremely comfortable, and our room on the 8th floor with a side sea view had a beautiful view—perfect for relaxing on the balcony in the evenings. Breakfast was excellent, with a huge variety of fresh and delicious food. The beach area with comfortable sunbeds was another highlight, and the hotel also offers convenient parking. The only thing future guests should know is that the bathroom and toilet have glass walls and doors, which may be less convenient when traveling with family. The location is also excellent—only a 5–10 minute walk to the Old Town, restaurants, and major attractions. We truly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return. Thank you to the entire team for a fantastic holiday!

We had a wonderful stay at Amàre Marbella. Our room featured a large private balcony with beautiful views of the Mediterranean, the beach and Marbella. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves while being just a short walk from the old town was a real highlight. The adults-only concept creates a calm and relaxing atmosphere throughout the hotel. The beachfront location is excellent, the pool and private beach area are well maintained, and complimentary beach towels are provided. We booked The One Amàre package and found it well worth the extra cost. Lounge access with drinks, snacks and light refreshments throughout the day added real value. Breakfast was excellent, and we also enjoyed the rooftop bar with its great views and cocktails. The daily hydrotherapy session was one of the highlights of our stay. The spa facilities were relaxing and well maintained, and the massage jets were particularly enjoyable. Wi-Fi worked reliably throughout the hotel, even on the beach. With its excellent location, attentive service and relaxed atmosphere, Amàre Marbella is a hotel we would happily return to.

First visit to Marbella. We stayed two weeks at the Amare and had an amazing time. The hotel’s location is ideal for the old town and beach front restaurants. The atmosphere is relaxed by the pool with daily entertainment eg dancers, singers and live music. If you want a livelier vibe the beach club has a DJ every day. We loved it and managed to have both fun and relaxation. We were in a Keep the Secret room and couldn’t be happier with the view of both pool and sea. Thank you Amare for giving us a spacious balcony to enjoy on our two week vacation. The rooms and hotel are kept spotless and the team work so hard to ensure the hotel is maintained and cleaned regularly. In fact, the whole team make the hotel a special place to be. We would not hesitate in visiting again and we do not often say this about the many hotels we have visited over the years.

Such an amazing hotel. I would recommend to anyone, with some caveats. The staff (besides the night shift reception desk) are all so nice. The best place to stay in marbs, as long as you do not have changes to your reservation (they will not accommodate them).

Absolutely gorgeous stay! I only stayed for two days, but I could easily have stayed much longer. The rooms are beautiful, incredibly spacious, and the bed was so comfortable. The food was excellent too, with fresh breakfasts and delicious options for both lunch and dinner. The staff were amazing – so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout my stay. I especially loved the pool area, which was very relaxing, and the whole place had such a lovely atmosphere. The stylish décor and homely feel made it really special. I’ll definitely be back! It’s just a 15-minute taxi ride from Marbella Old Town, so you really get the best of both worlds. I spent most of my time relaxing by the pool and headed into Marbella one evening for dinner👌🏽

Amazing boutique hotel! We were absolutely delighted with our stay. The room was incredibly spacious, beautifully decorated, and furnished with great taste. Everything felt stylish, comfortable, and very well thought out. The room and bathroom were spotless. We especially loved the huge bathroom with both a jacuzzi and a separate shower. The room itself was much larger than expected, making our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of fresh and delicious options. The host was outstanding—always friendly, helpful, and very quick to respond to any questions. The level of hospitality made us feel truly welcome. We highly recommend this place and would happily stay here again!

The best stay in Costa del Sol! I have stayed in Almunecar, Nerja, Malaga, and El Cortijo Boutique in Marbella is truly the best experience! Each room is unique, decorated with custom curated artwork by the owner Silvana. The hospitality of her staff is 5 STARS!!! They are warm, welcoming, and take care of me like family. Views from the pool terrace of the Mediterranean, birds chirping in the gardens, and ambiance music throughout the grounds far surpass the chaos of condos and hotels. Thank you for taking good care of me and my dogs 🙂 We will definitely be back soon!!

This is an amazing amazing spot. Marbella is a place which is known for its luxury and extraordinary lifestyle. This hotel brings you back to the original, Spanish roots. Each room is different. A very enjoyable 5 day stay. Walls adorned in great art, nice relaxing music and the food is some of the best I’ve had in Spain – especially the pumpkin soup and the Carbonara! But stand out was the staff who were so lovely. Really special place.

Let me start by saying we will come back again! We loved the hotel character, art, and history. Our room was perfect. The art pieces in the room (All done by the owner herself, Silvana) were unique and told a story. The breakfast was great with a lot of variety. The location was in a quite and clean neighborhood. There is a supermarket close by. We had dinner at the hotel several nights and we highly recommend the paella! Special thanks to the owner Silvana, Elham, Thomas, and Shaila, they went above and beyond to make sure we are attended to and our stay was comfortable.

Another fantastic stay – as always! From the moment you arrive, you feel the great atmosphere and positive vibe. The service is exceptional, and the staff are always friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Everything is beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and well looked after. A luxury escape. It’s so peaceful and decadent with a relaxed vibe. 3rd time staying here. Rooms are beautifully done. The daily yoga and Pilates was a bonus and the instruction was to a very good standard. The staff are all lovely and welcoming. The gardens are immaculately kept. My only negatives would be that we spent a lot of time by the pool and we were driven mad by the repetitive playlist. Please bring back the club sandwich at the pool.

As a resident here in Marbella I can really recommend Boho Club in Marbella. It is special. It looks beautiful, but it also feels easy and relaxed. And the food. Everything you order is delicious. The service is also always quick and friendly. After dinner there is a DJ playing happy songs that make this place even better. The restaurant itself is very pretty. There are plants everywhere, and the chairs are comfortable. The outside area is my favorite. I really love my nights at Boho Club. The food is great, the night is fun, and the place is beautiful. If you are in Marbella with friends or family, do not miss it. I promise you will have a wonderful time.

A truly exceptional hotel. We stayed two nights for our wedding anniversary and were upgraded to a beautiful bungalow with a private terrace opening straight onto the gardens — green, quiet and completely peaceful. The staff had noted the occasion and marked it with a handwritten letter, cake and wine waiting in the room, along with countless small gestures throughout our stay that felt genuine rather than routine. We never left the property once; everything we could want was already there, and we happily worked our way through every restaurant on site. The kitchen is serious. They even set up an enormous screen for the World Cup with a fantastic atmosphere. Worth every euro, and we’ll be back. Could be improved: Honestly very little. The cocktails at the pool bar in the late afternoon were the one thing that didn’t match the standard of everything else — a small training matter, and easily fixed.

An amazing Dining Experience at Boho Club Marbella From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into a warm, stylish atmosphere that perfectly combines elegance with a relaxed bohemian vibe. The service was impeccable throughout the evening. Every member of the staff was attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly, making us feel like valued guests rather than just customers. A special mention goes to the restaurant manager, whose warm, approachable, and highly professional attitude truly elevated the experience. For starter, I chose the Smoked Beef Tenderloin, served with a delicate Vitello Tonnato sauce, capers, and pickled onions. The beef was beautifully tender with a subtle smoky flavour, while the creamy tuna sauce added richness without overpowering the dish. As my main course, I had the Iberian Pork with green pepper, scallions, and chive oil. The pork was exceptionally juicy, tender, and full of flavour. To finish, I ordered the Cheesecake, described as a creamy cheese blend with a crispy cookie crust. It was the perfect ending to the meal. The entertainment deserves special recognition as well. Throughout dinner, we enjoyed amazing singer, later evening continued with DJ set, which made party atmosphere. Boho Club offers much more than good food. It’s complete experience where outstanding cuisine, exceptional service, beautiful surroundings, and high-quality entertainment.

We ended up staying at La Fonda unexpectedly for two nights and honestly couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, with charming rooms, an excellent location in Marbella Old Town, and a surprisingly strong breakfast. What really made the stay special, however, was the team. Michele and Dario were both fantastic – warm, welcoming, professional, and always eager to help. Any request was handled quickly and with a smile. There was perhaps one member of staff who was a little less flexible than the rest, but that was a very minor exception in what was otherwise an outstanding stay. A beautiful boutique hotel with exceptional service. We would happily return and highly recommend it.

We stayed in La Fonda Heritage Hotel, a historic property in Marbella’s Old Town, as a family of two adults and two teenagers. Our self-contained second-floor apartment was spacious and full of character, although access via a separate entrance and a spiral staircase made it difficult with large suitcases and would be challenging for older guests or anyone with mobility limitations. The location is excellent, surrounded by restaurants and shops and just a 10-minute walk to the pleasant public beach. The buffet breakfast was excellent, served in a beautiful courtyard, and the hotel’s restaurants, including the rooftop bar, were impressive. We would happily stay again.

Another visit to this amazing hotel with a stunning rooftop bar and a beautiful intimate courtyard restaurant. |Very sadly this time the hotel had made the terrible mistake of having a live soprano opera singer in the courtyard restaurant ‘singing’ at each table. Usually they have a live guitarist playing Spanish music which is so fitting. |Opera is definitely Not conducive to the relaxing atmosphere we are used to and certainly not enjoyable to dine on the fabulous food the kitchen produces. |We left without dining sadly and a note to check before we visit again.

My partner and I went for dinner at the Fonda Restaurant. Excellent food and ambiance terrible service. We waited over 20 mins for our order to be taken and what seemed like 30 mins for the waiting staff to remove the plates from our table. Servers attitudes were ignorant. We spent 200 Euro on dinner and we were charged 8 Euro for 3 pieces of bread for which we didn’t order. What a disappointment for a fine dining establishment.

We stayed at the La Fonda Heritage Hotel in the old center. A fantastic find for our stay, centrally located in the old center and just a 15-minute walk to the marina and beach. Originally a 16th-century private residence, and a 1960s hotel for Aristocrats, then recently reopened in 2023 after extensive preservation and renovation from abandoned ruins. The renovation is well done, very modern conveniences in a historic setting. The staff was amazing and attentive.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.|It’s an absolutely unique place, being three historic buildings dating from the early 16th century, located in a beautiful square in the old town of Marbella. It has so much history – it was a private residence, then converted into a church, then a school, and then it was a luxury hotel during the 1960s. However at the end of the last century it was forgotten and nature took over. It has now been restored again, even including two ancient trees in an inner courtyard which have been incorporated into the design!|I was hugely privileged to be offered an upgrade to the room I had booked and the room I was given was pure luxury – beautiful and spacious but still managing to feel very homely. The bed was so comfortable and the shower room beautifully designed.|And the staff are just the best! Super professional but friendly and so attentive and helpful.|All in all this is an amazing hotel and I highly recommend. I only wish I had stayed here longer.|Thank you to everyone at La Fonda for a wonderful stay.

My husband and I were very much looking forward to staying here for our 10 year wedding anniversary this last week. Due to the cancellations of all flight flights from Australia to Spain through the Middle East. We were unable to do our holiday, which was very disappointing. Every supplier and hotel that we were traveling to refunded our money as this was completely out of our hands. La Fonda decided to not refund our money and offer us a credit we could use before the end of this year instead. Due to their cause that we did not give them 30 days notice that apparently there was a war in the Middle East. As I was not informed by the governments that they were planning on doing that war, I could not give the 30 days notice. As we come from Australia, and not a neighbouring country, it is unrealistic to expect us just to pop over to be able to redeem this credit. Hence we have lost quite a lot of money as we were booked in a suite for five nights. This is very disappointing as we did not want to cancel, and it was not our choice to cancel. We just had no other option. This hard and fast rule felt like a procedure rather than a human response. Due to this, I will never stay at another one of this chain’s hotels.

We recently stayed at Paloma Blanca Boutique to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday with our two teenage daughters, aged 19 and 21, and it did not disappoint. We were looking for a little haven where we could completely relax, and that’s exactly what we found.||The hotel has a lovely peaceful atmosphere with small but stylishly decorated rooms that were always spotless and very well attended to by housekeeping. The bar and pool areas were beautifully clean and never overly busy, which made it feel even more special and relaxing.||Towards the end of our stay, the hotel added gazebo, style loungers around the pool area, which made our final day extra special. We also loved the strict no towel reservation policy, meaning there was no battling for sunbeds each morning.||Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice, and the whole experience felt calm and unhurried. The location was ideal too, around a 20-minute walk to Puerto Banús along the beach, which was lovely to do in the sunshine.||Ubers were easy and quick to get from the hotel, so there was never any waiting around for taxis. We also hired bikes during our stay from the hotel, maybe a little TLC on the bikes wouldn’t go a miss but we still had great fun.||We leave tomorrow and would definitely recommend Paloma Blanca Boutique for anyone looking for a relaxing break, and we would absolutely return.

I stayed at Paloma Blanca Boutique Hotel for a few nights. Overall, it was a good experience. The room was clean and nicely designed, though not very big. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made the stay more comfortable. The location is decent—close to the beach and in a quiet area, but you might need a car or taxi to get around easily.Breakfast was okay, nothing special but fresh enough. The pool area was nice and relaxing. Not a luxury place, but good value for the price if you’re looking for something simple and calm.

Firstly, I would like to say that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel itself was lovely, and we had no complaints until the final evening.||On our last night, my partner accidentally left her bag by the pool. At the time, we had no reason to suspect that it had been stolen, as we felt safe within the hotel. When we realised it was missing, we used the “Find My” feature to track her AirPods, which showed that they were still moving around the pool area.||We immediately informed hotel staff and asked if they could review the CCTV footage so we could identify what had happened. Unfortunately, our request was refused, and no immediate action was taken. Had the CCTV been checked when we first raised our concerns, there was a real possibility that the person responsible could have been identified before leaving the hotel.||Since then, the tracking location for the AirPods has updated and now shows them in Seville, strongly suggesting that the bag and its contents were stolen and taken away from the hotel.||We are extremely disappointed by the hotel’s response. While we understand there may be policies surrounding CCTV access, we expected the hotel to investigate the matter promptly on our behalf or involve security or the police if necessary. Instead, the delay meant that an opportunity to recover our belongings may have been lost.||I would appreciate an explanation as to why our request was not acted upon at the time and what procedures your hotel has in place for dealing with incidents of theft. I also ask that you investigate this matter fully and respond with the outcome of your investigation.

Staying at La Villa Marbella felt like stepping into a hidden oasis right in the heart of the town. From the very first moment, we were welcomed with warm, genuin and personal service from every singel person we met in the hotel. We also got an upgrade to the Lhasa suite with a marvelous terrace. Everything was spotless, the beds comfortable, and the small touches — from the textiles to the lighting — added a sense of Asian touch. The location is hard to beat. Nestled in Marbella’s old town, surrounded by cozy narrow streets, restaurants, and boutique shops, yet still calm and peaceful. It felt like having the best of both worlds — vibrant life and quiet retreat. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was one of the highlights of our stay. Sitting there in the morning sun, overlooking the rooftops while enjoying freshly prepared food to your personal liking. We recommend it to anyone looking for something personal, beautiful, and in a perfect location in Marbella Old Town.

Very nice stay at a good price. I reserved a “single” room, which was bigger than I expected with a 3/4 double bed that was extremely comfortable, plus towels and soap provided, AC and even a little mini fridge. Both the room and the hotel were beautiful, with a lovely roof terrace. Location was excellent, about 5 minutes away from Old Town and the beach, and a couple supermarkets even closer. Only met one staff member, but he was very friendly and efficient. Would definitely stay again

😊: Great location, very good value for money, and a clean, modern room. Although it’s small, it has everything needed for one person and feels comfortable and cozy. It’s a perfect choice for a short stay. 😢: Nothing in particular.

Not sure why this is a hostal rather than a hotel, we stayed in hotels not as good as this place. Lovely location in the old town, clean room, comfy bed, good shower, toiletries included. There are no coffee making facilities in the room but a kettle can be used in reception. I can definitely recommend a stay there.

Other than a slight inconveniece at the check in, the experience was pleasant. The room was tidy, nice bathroom and shower. The walls are thin so depending on the room or floor you might hear other people walking through the hallways or coming in/out of the hotel. Great and quiet location.

Great hotel, amazing staff and perfect location. The rooms are clean and tidy. It has everything you might need (hairdryer, shampoo, gel, towels, AC,…). The beds are comfortable as well as the pillows. It’s a perfect stay for a great price if you want to discover Marbella. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach, and very close to the old town. The check in was a self check-in and it went very smoothly. The staff are particularly nice, they helped me find the right transportation to the places I wanted to visit. I recommend.

A few weeks after making a reservation with them for 1 night, I received a notification that they want me to stay for at least 2 nights or cancel my reservation. This is deeply unprofessional. You didn’t set a minimum 2 night stay rule when I first made my booking and they changed it later. It’s understandable you change your mind, but you should honor the reservations that you have already confirmed instead of making me go look for another hotel. If it’s important for you to know your reservation will actually be honoured when you show up, I advise avoiding this property altogether.

We had a perfect few days staying at this beautiful boutique hotel. The location was ideal for us in terms of walking distance to grab a taxi, the beach was only 8 mins walk and the old town shops and restaurants were on our door step. ||The staff at the hotel were exceptional and did everything they possibly could to make our stay amazing. Cristina was the lady who looked after us all and I can’t thank her enough for everything she did. She was the perfect hostess and went to great lengths at the end to make sure I didn’t miss my flight too!! ||We would love to come back again, thank you thank you thank you!!|xx

Couldn’t fault the staff or cleanliness both were exceptional as was Christina absolutely brilliant with advice and booking restaurants for us, hope she is appreciated. The bed was very comfortable and the sound proofing in the room brilliant. Breakfast was good and the location is ideal to access the beach, the front with all the bars, restaurants, same to access the old town and all it has to offer, great. Some people may be disappointed with the bar not being staffed and no tapas menu, so not quite as marketed. Our main disappointment was the balcony was so small with no room for chairs and table to sit out, we made use of the roof terrace this is very nice. However, not set out with tables et cetera as implied in photos.

I couldn’t recommend the Town House highly enough. A stunning boutique hotel, beautifully decorated, hidden in a little cobbled side street, but literally steps away from fabulous bars and restaurants in the old town of Marbella. Beautifully furnished rooms, very comfortable large beds, spotlessly clean, air conditioning which was a godsend, and we absolutely loved eating our lovely breakfasts outside in the plaza under a shady tree. But the icing on the cake was the warm welcome from Christine, who treats every guest like one of her family, always had a lovely smile, and who along with her fabulous staff, ensures everything in the Town House is perfect. |We cannot wait to come back. Thank you Christine xxx

Spent 12 days in this fantastic little 10 bedroom boutique hotel. So romantic quiet and peaceful. The decor is so tasteful, every room has different beautiful furnishings. The beds are so comfy and the rooms are very clean. There is fresh plant’s all over the hotel. The smell as you enter the hotel is so nice with little scented candles glowing. The staff are all beautiful friendly helpful ladies. Every guest is made to feel special and welcome. Cristina is a wonderful hostess and goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. The breakfast has a good variety of quality food and drinks and there is a good selection of alcohol in the little bar. The roof top seating area is a nice place to relax and enjoy the sunshine and hear the church bells. I will definitely be back I loved it so much.

We absolutely loved our stay at this amazing and beautiful townhouse hotel. From the moment we arrived, the entire team was fantastic. A special shout-out to Melissa and Cristina, who are wonderful, genuinely helpful, and incredibly attentive people. Our rooms were impeccably clean and tidy, providing some lovely, memorable views that overlooked the charming old town and the iconic clock tower. The service was consistently top-notch. And, of course, the breakfast was wonderful, perfectly setting us up for a long day of relaxation (and reading!) on the beach. We stayed in October and enjoyed great weather. We’ll absolutely be returning in the future!

We were booked to stay early November 2025 but following a medical emergency we had to cancel and asked could we postpone for a few months and in no time we were given the available dates which suited us and we went on March 5 2026.The amazing part of the process was the best wishes and messages we constantly received from Cristina the hotel manager regarding my illness and nothing at all was a bother to her. When we checked in it was like old friends meeting up and her assistant Georgi (can’t spell her name) was just as welcoming and was very knowledgeable about the area. The room was spacious and the bed extremely comfortable which made for a good night’s sleep. The breakfast was continental which in my circumstances was perfect for both my wife and me with endless coffee top ups.The hotel is in the beautiful old town with 100s of cafes tapas bars within yards with a great relaxed feel and the beach prom was 5 minutes away. I can’t praise the staff or the hotel highly enough. This was the second time we’d stayed here and it will not be our last. Peter & Lorraine Paterson.

Hotel Claude is a charming boutique hotel perfectly situated in Old Town, just outside the busy core. The common areas and room were immaculate and very nicely restored and decorated. The best part of the hotel is the staff: warm and always willing to assist. For a very small property, it’s great that there is someone at the front desk 24/7! Also enjoyed the breakfast in the rooftop. We will be back – thanks Hotel Claude team!

My husband & I spend two magical nights at Hotel Claude in Marbella. The location is amazing, right in the heart of Old Town, close to restaurants, bars, shops & the beach. The hotel is charming, elegant & beautifully appointed. Each of the 7 rooms are individually designed & named after notable Spanish places. What truly makes this hotel special, is their staff. Alba at the Front Desk, Feny who is a Breakfast Server & Olivia, also Front Desk & Manager all are the epitome of hospitality. Professional, yet approachable & truly went beyond the call of duty to make sure that we had everything that we needed during our two day stay. The sumptuous breakfast provided was a perfect way to start the day. We look forward to returning to Hotel Claude in the future & thank everyone for making our romantic getaway so memorable.

What a beautiful hotel and an amazing experience. It felt like a personal and private stay. With only 7 rooms inside this gorgeous 17th century boutique hotel, we were beyond pampered.||Our room “Banús” was beautifully decorated with all the amenities to make one feel home, away from home. Every decor piece in the room was artsy and unique, adding to its magic. We even had a small balcony to enjoy!||Walking in the hallways was also inspiring as big paintings decorated the space. It felt like a private tour inside an art gallery.||A favorite spot for us was the St Lucas terrace where time stood still. Every morning we looked forward to our appetizing breaktast and to the sunny skies above! It was exactly what one needs to start his/her day. We tried the Shakshouka eggs on-a toast and the Halloumi Mediterranean and both were super delicious.||I would like to commend the staff and in particular Olivia who was very welcoming and attentive to every whim. It felt like she drew personal joy from happy guests:)||The location of the hotel is at the right spot. Close to all the right places and nice cafes and restaurants. We walked downhill to the beach and uphill exploring the local shops.||Already planning my next trip!

We had an outstanding time staying at Hotel Claude. We travel alot so and are very particular and picky about our boutique hotels and this hotel is absolutely superb. Everything from the welcome, the staff, the breakfast, the rooms, the decor was 10/10. The breakfasts are absolutely fantastic and the roof top terrace is a special treat. I would fully recommend this hotel to anyone who loves a top quality boutique hotel! Finally, I would like to mention how wonderful the staff are, they made our stay very enjoyable and were always there to help.

This hotel was amazing. Just walk in and you are met – not by someone behind a desk – by a lovely representative who asks you into the library for a coffee or cava. The whole atmosphere is special. Rooftop breakfast. Complete complimentary minibar. Help with any questions or issues you have about the hotel or the city. Room was elegant. Loved every aspect of staying there.

Have travelled alot the last years all over the world. The service level at this hotel was way beyond expected. Central location in Old town , free parking at a parking garage close by makes it a perfect location if you want to explore the rest of the area. If we are going back to Marbella this hotel will defentely be on top of our list. The alacarte breakfast on the terrace,in your room ore inside in the morning gives you a perfect start on your day 🙂

The staff was most friendly and helpful! They recommended dinner at El Boqueroncito which we loved. Also enjoyed our catamaran trip to Puerto Banus per their recommendation . HC breakfasts on the terrace were outstanding! Despite having a tiny room, we enjoyed the open window the 2nd night with no air conditioning required! We loved the complimentary parking! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfect location, spotless clean, and the warmest staff you’ll find in Marbella. Special mention to Mikael at reception — he treats your problems like his own and won’t rest until everything is sorted. The kind of service that makes you want to come back. Showers are a bit compact, but honestly, with everything else being this good — totally forgivable.

We were looking forward to staying at the Linda hotel as it looked so lovely when booking.|On arrival we were allocated a ground floor room off the cafe that, although beautifully done out had no windows, just a skylight in the room and bathroom. Although that wasn’t great I really had to ask for another room when it became apparent the room had no soundproofing…… but there was, unfortunately no other room available. So we had to put up with a room, hearing people going up and down the stairs, in the reception and cafe.|The worst noise though was from a laundry room/staffroom next to our room where the noise of the washing machine, extraction fan and loud staff phone calls was pretty bad.||Please realise Linda Hotel, some sound proofing here is urgently needed if you want your customers to be able to relax and get decent sleep!||I’m sure if we’d had a different room we would have had a much nicer stay as the staff were lovely and so was the breakfast and beautiful roof terrace.

Loved this little gem of a hotel. Front desk staff were excellent; helpful, friendly and professional. Breakfast served in the cute and cosy lobby was great quality…freshly made lattes and croissants were delicious. The hotel is clean and has a great spot to sit up on the roof and enjoy the view of old town. Rooms are small, but you will likely spend little time in them. Would highly recommend. We would definitely stay again if ever in Marbella.

Frequently asked questions about boutique hotels in Marbella

    What is a boutique hotel?

A boutique hotel is a small, stylish lodging establishment that typically offers a more personalized and unique experience than standard large-scale hotels. These properties often feature distinctive architecture, curated interior design, and high levels of individualized service. They are designed to create a specific atmosphere or "vibe" that reflects the local culture or a specific artistic theme.

What are the benefits and advantages of boutique hotels?

The primary advantages of boutique hotels include a more intimate atmosphere, highly personalized guest services, and unique aesthetic designs. Unlike larger resorts, these hotels often provide a sense of exclusivity and a more curated experience tailored to the specific tastes of the traveler. Guests often enjoy a more communal yet private feel, with attention to small details that larger establishments may overlook.

How much do boutique hotels cost?

The cost of a boutique hotel varies significantly based on the location, the level of luxury provided, and the season of travel. In popular coastal destinations like Marbella, prices can range from mid-range to high-end luxury depending on the amenities and proximity to the beach. Factors such as room size, specific decor, and the inclusion of high-end dining or spa facilities will influence the final nightly rate.

What is the difference between a boutique hotel and a luxury hotel or resort?

The main difference lies in scale and atmosphere; boutique hotels focus on unique character and intimacy, while luxury hotels or resorts often focus on extensive facilities and grander proportions. A luxury hotel may offer massive amenities like multiple pools and sprawling grounds, whereas a boutique hotel prioritizes a curated, "home-away-from-home" feel. While both offer high-quality service, the boutique experience is defined by its individuality rather than its size.
