A wonderful holiday at this gorgeous hotel. We had a large beautiful suite (V31) in a traditional Spanish style with all the mod cons which was on the top floor of this block in a quiet location but within easy reach of both the vibrant Plaza with its wide range of excellent restaurants that came alive at night and the relaxing beach area with its beach club facilities pool and range of restaurants|We particularly liked the restaurant offering at the beach. Having a small version of the main Nobu restaurant there in a lovely outdoor setting shaded from the sun by a pergola of bio diverse plants with an integrated mist system to keep us cool when required made for a very special experience. |I have had the opportunity to stay at some of the best hotel chains in the world including the One and Only, Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons, Oberoi Eden Rock etc and this hotel without a doubt had the best breakfast offering I have ever experienced. It was unbelievable and included and if you have kids it included a chocolate fountain!|The staff at the hotel went out of their way to make the holiday enjoyable and that included everyone from the restaurant and spa staff to the reception and concierge staff. We even liked the thoughtful touch of a little something left for my wife on her birthday even though we had not told them about it. |Very much look forward to coming back soon.

Let me start this with saying this is my first time leaving a bad review, as usually, I am very understandable. Very disappointing experience. At $1700 per night per room, the quality felt more like a $100-a-night hotel. The room was in poor condition, the bathrooms had mold, water in the shower would not drain and the overall property felt old and extremely poorly maintained. The swimming pool was dirty, and the beach setup was another huge disappointment, not something I would expect at a five star resort. After seeing the condition of the hotel, we decided to cut our vacation short and leave early. This hotel is nowhere near worth the price.

Beautiful resort with fantastic service but very disappointed that the front pool by the beach now has a minimum spend of €200 per bed, per day for residents!! Only free access to the two remaining pools and not enough beds for the whole resort and the Airbnb’s!!||||Never stayed in such a premium hotel where you have a minimum spend to use their main pool and hardly any beds if you do want to pay!||||Fully understand if people want to come that aren’t staying they must pay, unfortunately not catering for families any more and after many happy years we won’t be coming again!

Puente Romano is one of my favourite hotels I’ve ever stayed in, and one I still think about long after leaving.||The breakfasts are incredible—especially at La Petite Maison, where you can enjoy amazing food with beautiful sea views. The whole hotel is surrounded by lush greenery, so it feels more like staying in tropical gardens than in the middle of Marbella.||I also love that some of Marbella’s best restaurants are right here in the hotel, so every evening can be a completely different experience. Whether you feel like relaxing at the spa, working out in the gym, or playing tennis or padel, there’s always something to do.||What really makes it all come together is the fantastic service. Everyone is so welcoming and attentive, making every stay feel effortless and special.||I can’t recommend Puente Romano enough—it’s a place I’ll happily return to again and again.

Puente Romano is the place to be in Marbella when you are looking to be in the heart of the buzz. With it’s spacious garden and large rooms, this resort makes you feel intimate as though you live in an traditional luxurious Andalusian village. The bedrooms are renovated and have very comfortable facilities. The pools are themed (Coya, Nobu pool and more) There is wonderful staff that is always handy to help. The resort has the coolest gym and spa from six senses. The tennis club and kids club is their unique value too! Overall a memorable stay to have a staycation or discover Marbella.

Second time staying here and room is spacious and well designed. Facilities are a bit aged but well maintained. Swimming pools are clean and not crowded in February. Plenty of restaurants in the hotel and nearby. Friendly staff and decent services.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Marriott’s Marbella Beach Resort in Elviria, just about 20 minutes from the heart of Marbella. This resort truly delivers a luxury experience from start to finish. The guest service is exceptional—warm, attentive, and always ready to help, which made us feel welcome throughout our entire stay. The amenities are outstanding. We especially loved the two heated indoor pools, perfect for relaxing regardless of the weather, as well as the multiple outdoor pools surrounded by beautiful landscaping. The two large jacuzzis were a highlight, and the spa area—with its sauna and Turkish bath—added an extra level of relaxation. Another detail we really appreciated was the well-stocked minimarket on site, which made everything so convenient. We stayed in a spacious and comfortable two-bedroom villa with two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. It was perfect for our group—plenty of room, very clean, and thoughtfully designed for both comfort and functionality. Overall, this resort exceeded our expectations. Whether you’re looking for relaxation, comfort, or a high-quality vacation experience, this is a fantastic choice on the Costa del Sol. We would absolutely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Marriott’s Marbella Beach Resort. The customer service was outstanding, especially at the reception and concierge, where the staff was always friendly, welcoming, and eager to help.||The accommodations were excellent. The rooms are exceptionally spacious, beautifully decorated, spotless, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The beach is absolutely breathtaking, and the quality of the beach beds and umbrellas makes it an ideal place to relax and enjoy the Mediterranean.||There are, however, a few areas that could make this resort even better. Breakfast currently begins at 8:30 a.m., which is too late for guests leaving early for tours or day trips. A 7:00 or 7:30 a.m. start would be much more convenient. Additionally, the breakfast selection should showcase more authentic Spanish cuisine rather than focusing primarily on a standard continental breakfast. One of the greatest pleasures of vacationing in Spain is enjoying its incredible food.||The restaurant menu could also be improved by offering more traditional Spanish dishes instead of emphasizing pizza, hamburgers, and chicken wings. The limited menu often encourages guests to dine elsewhere in the evenings. Adding room service would also be a valuable enhancement.||Finally, the resort would benefit from beach bar service, more entertainment throughout the day and evening, and a livelier atmosphere with music and activities that appeal to younger guests. At times, the resort feels geared primarily toward older visitors.||Overall, despite these suggestions, we had an excellent stay. The outstanding service, beautiful accommodations, and spectacular beachfront location make this a resort we would gladly recommend and visit again.

I left this resort feeling genuinely disappointed. While the property itself is beautiful and well maintained, the overall guest experience fell far below what I expect, especially as a Marriott Platinum member. The biggest issue was the service. With the exception of one staff member, the restaurant employees rarely smiled, appeared disengaged, and did not deliver the level of hospitality you would expect from a Marriott resort. Rather than feeling welcomed, we often felt like an inconvenience. Another surprising policy was being required to pay for restaurant orders in advance, even after providing our room number. This is not the experience I have come to expect at Marriott properties and made us feel as though there was little trust in guests. The most frustrating part of our stay happened on checkout day. Breakfast finishes at 11:00 a.m., and when we returned to our room at around 11:30 a.m to pick up my luggage., our key cards had already been deactivated. My family was locked out of the room with all of our belongings inside. I had already requested a late checkout, yet instead of resolving the issue quickly, I had to return to reception and wait while the staff took a long time to restore our access. What made the situation even more disappointing was the attitude of the reception manager. Rather than showing empathy or taking ownership, I was left with the impression that restoring access to our own room was somehow being done as a favor. There was no apology, no sense of urgency, and no recognition that we were standing outside our room with our family locked out. Loyalty should mean something. As a Marriott Platinum member, I expect to be treated as a valued guest, not as someone asking for special favors. At no point during this stay did we feel appreciated or made to feel at home. The facilities are excellent, but a beautiful resort alone is not enough. Hospitality is about people, and unfortunately that was the weakest part of this experience. We left frustrated and disappointed, and this has been one of the least welcoming Marriott stays we have experienced.

Our first time at a Marriott Vacation Club and we would definitely do it again and wish we had found this accommodation type sooner. ||The staff were all so helpful and friendly, from the welcome by the security guard all the way through every area of the hotel. ||We loved having the space of a 2 bedroom apartment with balcony, lounge, dining area and kitchen. We didn’t cook but liked the fridge and home comforts. ||I guess we had a newly renovated unit as the soft furnishings were all spotless. I’ve added some photos as couldn’t find any renovated rooms online. The wardrobes and bathrooms all still need work but that didn’t detract from our stay. ||Positives (there’s loads) |-Space|-Black out blinds that work |-Utility room with washer, dryer, ironing board etc |-Daily housekeeping, like a hotel |-Buffet breakfast onsite with a 20% discount for guests, we did this daily (fresh made omelettes, lots of choice and good coffee/pastries)|-Outdoor pool was a great space, too cold in April but an indoor pool as an easy back up |-Direct access to the beach with the best sunsets |-Activities / entertainment available daily, we did a few things like badminton, shuffleboard, giant chess, bingo all were great |-The whole place is pristine, constant cleaning throughout the week |-The gardens are lovely, so well looked after and beautiful planting|-Restaurants are good. El Med one night and Charlie’s another. Otherwise we went to local places a 5min drive or 20min walk. ||Negatives (very few) |Onsite market is expensive but ok for back up (2 supermarkets close by) |Time share selling. We were called daily on my mobile and unit phone which we ignored so they started leaving written messages. We just ignored and they stopped.

We rented a 3 bedroom apartment for a 4 night stay in June of 2026 at Marriott’s Marbella Beach Resort. While we enjoyed our stay, I would not return to or recommend this property. Although this may be a higher quality resort in southern Spain, for the price it falls far short of expectations in so many little ways when compared again other beach destinations. If staying here, I would highly suggest renting/parking a car because your food options, while of good quality, are limited and quite overpriced. ||The apartment was large with a very comfortable living space but is clearly showing its age and comes very poorly equipped. The beds are very firm and the pillows were quite uncomfortable, resulting in sub-par sleep. We were also disappointed with the in-room coffee which tasted terrible. We visiting the hotel market instead to only be able to get coffee or espresso from a machine. Beach towels must be brought down from the room and are not regularly cleaned/washed.||The property grounds include numerous activities and are very well maintained. In addition to the main pool, they have a football/basketball cage, ping-pong tables, indoor swimming, and other amenities which are very nice! Unfortunately, our family was place in a room overlooking the adults-only quiet pool on the far side of the property so it was a good walk to do anything. Access to the units comes via the exterior of the property along the road. Also, at night they close off half the property so you need to walk an extra 10 minutes just to access the beach (only one access point after-hours). While not a huge deal, I would much rather be spending the time ON the beach rather than navigating around the hotel’s pool barriers. ||The beach outside the property is nice but quite rocky once in the ocean. The waves are small and you must pay to rent beach chairs. ||After traveling throughout Spain for 2 weeks prior we expected a lot more from these accommodations given the high cost.

This resort truly has it all. It’s beautiful, conveniently located right off the highway, and the suites are spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything you could need. But what truly sets it apart is the team that runs it—the staff are simply exceptional. We’ve stayed at many resorts over the years, but we’ve never experienced hospitality like this. When we left for the airport, I realized I’d forgotten my very expensive ring. It was too late to turn back, and I was devastated. But what happened next was incredible. Several members of the staff immediately began searching for it and stayed in touch with me by email throughout the process. When it wasn’t found right away, they didn’t give up—they kept looking every day. By the fourth day, I had accepted that it was gone for good. Then, on the fifth day, I received an email: they had found it! Their honesty, persistence, and genuine care amazed me. One of the staff (Martina Spinetti), ensured that the ring was packaged and shipped right away, keeping me informed of the tracking no. Marriott continues to prove itself as an organization built on integrity and class. From start to finish, their service was exceptional—both during our stay and even after we had left. Special mention should go to Samsahara Bigorre and Martina Spinetti for their dedication to help over the course of a few days If I could give them more than five stars, I absolutely would. While the hotel provides proximity to the beach and shopping, the dining experience varies across different outlets. The breakfast selection is well-regarded, though the main restaurant’s menu may offer limited variety for specific dietary preferences.

We spent a week at the hotel in May this year. The location is super, close to Orange Square and Marbella shops. The pool is heated and staff at the pool were great.|Our room had a sea front view and was satisfactory.|Breakfast was good and staff helpful and courteous. |The only disappointment is the main restaurant menu. It was disappointing not just for myself as a vegetarian but also for my husband who is not. The pasta dish was more than al dente it was chewy, it came with what can only be described as a balloon of buretto cheese which when cut into became a milky mess over the pasta. I opted a few nights for the veggie burger which was good. There was simply lack of choice. There was an excellent waitress name Roxanna, very professional, we always hoped for her to serve our table. The other staff in the restaurant were okay but a bit hit and miss at times.|We dined at the beach restaurant which I found underwhelming and very busy.|Otherwise, this is a very good hotel and I will definitely be returning soon.

Absolutely wonderful property. We enjoyed a relaxing week in a seafront room. The “selected” option worked very well for us and offers a quiet area for breakfast with excellent service. Other perks with this option include a lounge (little sandwiches and desserts, snacks, and even drinks and fresh juices), and entry to the very relaxing therapy pool with jets and cascading spouts. Our room had a unique design, with a shower and toilet cubicle to one side of the entry, and double sinks and a soaking tub on the other side. Beyond was a small bedroom and beautiful balcony. There are many room categories available, including suites with lounge areas, or those with a jetted tub on the balcony. Keep in mind the resort has a rather small footprint, and is family friendly, so there could be some noise from the pool below in seafront room category. The tradeoff is delightful views. We loved the location of the hotel, with direct access to a promenade lined with restaurants. It’s also a few minutes walk to the charming old town. We would not hesitate to recommend this world class hotel. Heartfelt thanks to the outstanding staff, particularly our breakfast hosts and servers. We hope to see your smiling faces again!

Was here celebrating a special occasion with my wife. They gave us a room that was overlooking what appeared to be a war torn building, neighboring the resort with no sunlight. Forcing us to pay more money to change the room. They gave us an option of a ” full sea view” which was anything but that (see picture). They charged us an arm and a leg to upgrade and didn’t deliver on what they said it would be. Then our room was located side-by-side by the staff equipment room, which had the door clacking at all times which made it difficult for us to sleep. When room service started in the morning there was so much noise which made it impossible to sleep in. The power went out in our room, which took a long time to fix. The concierge felt like they were doing us a favor with every thing that we asked and actually messed up one of our reservations in the process of adjusting it Everything revolves around money in this hotel. Even if you want to rent a bike, they charge you €25 a day. Want to use the indoor pool? That’s a charge. Breakfast in the morning was great though.

Top-Notch Property and Great Staff Recovery, But Lacks Financial Transparency I am giving this hotel 5 stars because the room was amazing, the view was breathtaking, and when we experienced two issues, the management handled it beautifully and compensated us like a true luxury establishment. My only serious critique is regarding their half-board upgrade. Charging guests €150-€200 for an upgrade, only to find out it covers a mere €50 per person at the venue, is highly misleading. In their restaurants, if you order a standard dinner consisting of a starter, a main course, a dessert, a glass of wine, and a soft drink, the bill easily reaches around €200 per person. A high-end hotel should not play these hidden-fee games; it ruins the premium experience. I highly recommend the hotel, but strongly advise against taking the half-board package until management corrects this.

I’ve been fortunate to travel extensively and stay in many beautiful hotels, and I can confidently say this is one of the best I’ve ever experienced. From the moment you arrive, the service is exceptional. The team is genuinely warm, attentive, and welcoming, which sets the tone for the entire stay. The location is unbeatable, with everything conveniently within walking distance. The pool and beach areas are stunning and incredibly relaxing, especially the sunbeds by the water. It’s the perfect place to unwind and switch off. Breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety of options and beautiful views, and the decor throughout the hotel is elegant and thoughtfully designed. Lounge access was a great addition, and having snacks and drinks available during the day made the experience even more enjoyable. The room was quiet, comfortable, and well designed, with a beautiful bathroom. One of the highlights was falling asleep to the sound of the waves. At one point, one of us even chose to sleep on the balcony just to fully enjoy it. This is a place where you can truly disconnect and relax. I’m already looking forward to coming back. Thank you for such an incredible stay. Highly recommended. Don’t hesitate to book.

I’ve been coming to Marbella Club for years, and I’ve always loved the unique atmosphere that made it feel like a true home away from home. Unfortunately, during this stay, that feeling was missing. While the hotel remains beautiful, I found the staff to be overly intrusive. We were repeatedly interrupted for minor issues and unnecessary check-ins, which made it difficult to relax and enjoy our privacy. Instead of feeling looked after, we felt constantly disturbed. What made Marbella Club so special in the past was its effortless, discreet service—you felt genuinely at home. Sadly, that magic seems to have faded. It’s still a wonderful property, but it no longer feels like the Marbella Club I remember. I sincerely hope the management brings back the understated hospitality and sense of comfort that made this hotel truly exceptional.

I have been coming to Marbella Club Hotel every year, and it has always been one of my favorite places to stay. Unfortunately, this year’s visit was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had here. The most disappointing part of my stay was the treatment we received at El Patio. A staff member named Sofia was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. Despite having a confirmed reservation, we were not seated, and the situation was handled very poorly. What made the experience even more frustrating was that the manager did nothing to resolve the issue. As loyal guests who have chosen Marbella Club year after year, I expected much better customer service and a genuine effort to help. It’s very disappointing to see such a decline in hospitality at a hotel that has always been known for its exceptional service. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously, as this experience has completely changed my impression of the hotel.

This is by far the best hotel in Marbella. The heritage of this Andalusian estate from the Prince Alfonso and its renovations are impeccable. The staff is very kind and attentive, always on time and very polite. Their amenities are impressive from their lush gardens to their orto. The restaurants are succulent and the most impressive is their beach club pontoon. They also have a mesmerising thalasso spa that is open from 8 am to 8 pm. I have never had such a good breakfast buffet with healthy options and their signature jamón ibérico. Truly a magical stay especially for families as they have a beautiful kids club. The highlight is their finca ana a special place for in house guests only to relax and unwind along with their holistic studio. The rooms are spacious, elegantly decorated and with great bedding that is very comfortable.

I’m sure that, in its heyday, Marbella Club was a truly beautiful and distinguished property. Sadly, our experience felt more like style over substance.||For anyone looking for an elegant, tranquil and genuinely discerning hotel, this may not be the right choice. Breakfast was consistently hectic and chaotic, with the terrace struggling to accommodate guests when the hotel was at full occupancy. We appreciate that the outdoor setting and surrounding nature mean birds can occasionally make a mess. However, being shown to a table covered in bird faeces, despite paying approximately £3,000 per night, was unacceptable. Even after we highlighted it to staff, no meaningful effort was made to clean the table properly or replace the linen.||The food across the property was generally good, and the pool staff were undeniably attentive. However, as the stay progressed, we found ourselves continually lowering our expectations.||There was very little sense of personalised service. Rather than feeling valued as individual guests, the experience felt transactional, as though the focus was simply to move guests through as efficiently and profitably as possible.||The rooms are also in need of refurbishment. On arrival, we were allocated a room below the category we had booked and paid for. Reception initially tried to explain that room categories were based on size rather than the photographs displayed online. After I produced our reservation correspondence and demonstrated that the room was incorrect, the hotel eventually acknowledged the mistake. We then waited approximately three hours while the correct room was prepared.||Marbella Club may appeal to those looking for an Instagramable backdrop where they can showcase their latest luxury purchases, pay a premium and move on. However, beneath the image, we found the hotel lacking the understated elegance, refinement and genuine hospitality its reputation suggests.||The sense of old-world class now feels more like a memory of a bygone era than the reality of the current guest experience.

I had a wonderful stay at Don Carlos Hotel. The service was excellent, and the staff were truly amazing very friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile. The hotel is very clean and well-maintained, which made the stay even more comfortable. The location is good, although it is a bit far from the Old Town and Puerto Banús, and the casino is also not nearby. However, it’s very close to Nikki Beach, which is a great advantage. The breakfast was extremely rich and delicious. I highly recommend including it with your booking, as it’s definitely worth it. This hotel is perfect for families. It offers both a kids’ pool and an adults’ pool, as well as a kids’ club and childcare services, making it an ideal place for those traveling with children. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, providing a relaxing environment throughout the stay. Overall, it was an excellent experience that is definitely worth repeating. Highly recommended!

The property is beautiful and well maintained. The hotel is thoughtfully designed and has a really good vibe throughout. It never feels crowded, which gives it a boutique feel. Breakfast is delicious and offers a good variety. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The gym isn’t huge, but is well equipped with modern equipment. Car rental is also available on site, which came in handy for a day trip. We had a great time, would 100% recommend!

Unbelievable. The hotel itself is exceptional, from quality, vibe and attention to detail. But what I’m really leaving a review about is the team here at Gran Marbella Resort, they are all fantastic and always have a smile. The breakfast is exceptional and the restaurant for dinner blew us away. We’ve eaten at a few places in Marbella and the restaurant onsite for dinner is the best of the best. Both gyms were great and had everything you need for keeping on top of training during holiday. If you’re considering this for your stay, do it.

There are beautiful places, and then there are places with soul. Gran Marbella Resort & Beach Club is one of them. The setting is stunning, with every detail carefully considered and an atmosphere that is hard to describe and very easy to enjoy. Everything invites you to stay a little longer: the surroundings, the ambience, and that feeling of being on holiday, even if only for a few hours. But what truly makes the difference is the team behind it all. Warm, attentive and genuinely committed to making every experience special. It is refreshing to find places that understand that true luxury lies in the details and in how they make people feel. Congratulations to the entire team for creating such a special destination. Without a doubt, one of those places you always look forward to returning to.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this resort in Marbella. From the moment we arrived, everything was simply perfect. The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and always going the extra mile without being intrusive. Every member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The facilities and overall product are top-notch. The pools are beautiful, well-maintained, and offer plenty of space to relax, whether you’re looking for a quiet spot or something more lively. The location is ideal, close to everything yet peaceful enough to fully unwind. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with great attention to detail. Housekeeping was impeccable throughout our stay. The food deserves a special mention—excellent quality across the board, with plenty of variety and consistently high standards. Every meal felt like a treat. Overall, it’s hard to find a single fault. This is exactly what you hope for in a luxury resort, and it truly delivers on every level. We would return without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Marbella.

This hotel has great potential lovely building generally very polite nice staff and great swimming pools however at the moment it’s right next to a building site which starts at 7 am and is certainly not peaceful at least on one side of the Hotel. There is also a beach bar just below that has DJ nights Sundays and Wednesdays so pretty impossible to sleep until midnight. obviously this might not bother everyone .Also if you are gluten-free very few options to eat in the hotel and beach bar other than grilled seabass definitely would expect a lot more choice from a five star aspiring Hotel. Staff are very polite and try help however not quite the experience we expected.

Outstanding staff at this hotel in all departments.||Excellent breakfast selections and speed of service.||Easy access to the beach and for the Beach Club and Spa.||Very good selection of food options and as vegetarians that’s not always the case.||The hotel has a lovely laid back but luxurious feel and at times reminded us of the Maldives which is the highest complement we can give.||Lovely pool areas and our only slight negative was the volume of the music around the adult pool but we didn’t say anything at the time and this might vary depending on staff on the day. ||We are rebooking this hotel for October because it just gets so many things right compared to the others around. ||For context we have stayed at the Don Pepe, Don Carlos and El Fuerte in the last 2 years and this our favourite

For various reasons we spent a few weeks in Hapimag after been here before several.times. We had another very enjoyable stay. Very friendly hospitable and helpful staff. Cleaning and hygiene extremely well. A dip in the pool or beach, both a few steps away. Great seating in the restaurant with views over the sea and boulevard. We had a room on the seaside and getting up every day with views over the mediterranean sea is awesome, with views of Gibraltar and Africa if the weather is ok. Enjoyed the sauna a few times. Great base for walks along the seaside to Puerto Banus and San Pedro. Restaurants cafe s supermarkets take away s etc – all just steps away. Lounge is very comfortable. Hapimag is set in a very clean and agreeable part of Marbella.

After having been here quite some times we spent a few weeks in January this time. Unfortunatel 2 weeks of bad weather. Very very unusal. The whole SW part of Europe was affected. But the other weeks with nice weather. We took a few dips in the sea (cold, brrr). The stay with Hapimag was again very enjoyable. A very nice apartment on the seaside. Very hospitable staff. Superclean. We enjoyed the sauna a few times. We had a few nice dinners in the restaurant and enjoyed many coffees in the baque coffee. All in a very agreeable atmosphere.

Been here 10 times.or so Every time a very agreeable stay. Staff is super. Hygiene is top. Location is great. Superb relaxing in the garden. On the sea and boulevard side. Very convenient. Two mornings we spotted dolphins from the balcony. One morning was very special when the dolphins engaged in a feeding frenzy with the sea gulls.

The hotel is a bit run down. The service is okay, but say for example we called for an iron, they make you go get it, they don’t bring to your room. They charge you for everything, towels for the pool, pool cups, which we found weird but you get some of that money back. The cafeteria in front of the building is super good. Didn’t try the restaurant. The pool was nice but very small because it overlooks the beach. It’s unfortunate that they allow smoking in the balconies because for the non smokers you can’t enjoy the balcony because of it. They should have a section for the smoker and another for non smokers. We don’t need to be exposed to second hand smoke. There is parking on the premises with electric chargers (with a cost). Staff is nice, but checkout is precisely at 10:00 and they are knocking on your door.

We stayed at The Westin La Quinta Golf Resort & Spa in June for 5 days with my mother and our 1-year-old baby, and we had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful, especially for those who love nature and a peaceful atmosphere. I really enjoyed the surroundings , the golf course, the greenery, and the relaxing views. Breakfast was included and it was excellent. There was a good variety at the buffet, but you could also order freshly prepared dishes from the kitchen, which was a lovely option. I was attending an event at the hotel, where lunch was included, and the food was diverse and very tasty. We usually went out for dinner in Marbella, so I cannot comment on the hotel’s dinner service. We used taxis to get around, but the hotel also offers a very convenient shuttle service to Puerto Banús and Marbella Old Town, with a clear schedule that is easy to follow. Although the hotel has many stairs because of its beautiful layout, it was very easy to move around with a stroller. They have lifts both inside the hotel and outside, which made everything much more comfortable. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Overall, it was a lovely stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel for families and anyone looking for a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature

We have just come back from a wonderful 10 days spent at WLQ – our second stay so far in this lovely resort. We were very apprehensive to be going on a holiday in pandemic times, but were very pleasantly surprised with the measures in place – we felt the hotel stroke the perfect balance between keeping us very safe but also not unnecessarily restricted. Our family room was brilliant – spacious, clean, amazing views, and just perfect for a family of 4 including a very active toddler! We enjoyed the hotel amenities and spent a great time by the pool. The service was consistently brilliant, from the reception team to the concierge team and of course the brilliant pool-side and restaurant staff. We are frequent travellers and expect high standards in hotels, but also like to feel ease and friendly vibes, and that’s exactly what you can expect in WLQ. We will definitely be returning soon!

I stayed at The Westin La Quinta Golf Resort & Spa during a trip to Marbella, Spain, and had such a beautiful experience. The resort was peaceful, elegant, and surrounded by gorgeous scenery. My room was spacious and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere made it easy to truly relax and enjoy the destination. The room was excellent. Spacious, comfortable, and well kept, with a large terrace looking out over the golf course and up to the villas dotted along the hills next to the property. We had coffee out there every morning and dinner out there most nights. It is the kind of view you plan your day around. Parking is easy and right on site, only 12 euros a night, which is a bargain for this part of Marbella. No hunting for a spot, no walking half a kilometre with your bags. The pool facilities were great, well maintained and never crowded. I got 27 holes in on the golf course and enjoyed every one of them. The course is in good condition and a genuine pleasure to play. Seven nights and I have nothing to complain about. Great service, great room, great views, great facilities. We will very likely be back, and I recommend it without hesitation to anyone heading to the Costa del Sol.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at The Westin for 5 days in June 2026 and can certainly recommend it! The hotel is located around 10 mins. by car from Puerto Banus, a little up the mountain. It has some nice restaurants and bars, and the pool is great, large and nice and warm. There are also gym and various spa treaments. There is plenty of parking facilities as well. The staff was extremely helpful and managed to make sure that my 50th celebration was a great one! Always helpful and making sure eveything was ok. Make sure to get the room with view of the mountains. For sure I can recommend this hotel and we will definently come back. See you soon, Westin!

We had a really lovely experience at Nobu Marbella. The atmosphere throughout the day was fantastic, and the live music was a brilliant touch—it really elevated the whole experience. Although they couldn’t seat us at a table, the team kindly accommodated us at the bar, which actually turned out to be a real treat. It was a very unusual and memorable dining experience for my daughter, and she absolutely loved it—something we’ll both remember for a long time. To top it all off, the service was excellent. In particular, Nicholas was brilliant—friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend. We had a really lovely experience at Nobu Marbella. Racist, rude, and disrespectful. I had a reservation at Nobu Marbella yesterday at 3:00 p.m. and was treated horribly. It was clear that my server did not want to serve me. She had an attitude from the moment she approached my table. I ordered drinks and waited more than 25 minutes before asking to speak with a manager, while other tables that were seated after me were served drinks and appetizers. As someone who frequents Nobu locations around the world, I know this is not the standard of service the brand represents. When I spoke with the manager about my experience, she simply offered to serve me herself and never addressed what had happened. I declined because I do not spend my money where it is not appreciated. The reason that server felt comfortable treating a paying customer this way is because management allowed it by failing to address the situation. Based on my experience, people of color are clearly not made to feel welcome at Nobu Marbella. I will be following up with Nobu’s corporate office regarding this incident. I sincerely hope no other person of color has to experience what I experienced at Nobu Marbella.

Racist! I am truly disgusted by the experience I had at Nobu Marbella. I went there for lunch with a friend, but our waitress refused to properly serve our table because my friend is Black. We waited more than 25 minutes for our drinks while two other tables that were seated after us received both drinks and appetizers. We brought our concerns to the restaurant manager, but she showed little concern and did nothing to address the situation or investigate what had happened. Racism has no place in today’s world, especially at an international brand that welcomes guests from every background. I have visited Nobu restaurants and hotels all over the world and have never experienced anything resembling the blatant discrimination and hostility we encountered at Nobu Marbella. The management team needs to do better by ensuring that all guests are treated with dignity, respect, and fairness, regardless of their race.

Nobu Marbella is all about location, atmosphere, and style. Steps from the ocean in an amazing setting with a great selection of restaurants and a wonderful, welcoming staff. Dining at COYA and the Thai restaurant was a great with truly delicious food and vibrant flavors. Drinks at the plaza and breakfast on the beach was the highlight of our stay! That said, as the restaurants got busier, the service did taper off a bit toward the end of the meal, which took away slightly from an otherwise great experience. The only other minor miss was in the room was no full-length mirror, which feels like an oversight for a destination where getting dressed up is part of the fun. Overall, a beautiful, lively place that delivers on ambiance and dining, with just a couple of small areas for improvement.

Sercotel Vime La Reserva de Marbella offers a location suitable for those with private transport, as it sits away from the immediate coastline. While the property provides a base for visitors, the interior condition of certain accommodations may vary significantly from expectations.

Guests can expect efficient reception services, though the room maintenance and amenities, such as water pressure and lighting, present inconsistencies. The establishment provides a functional stay, though the overall value depends largely on the specific unit assigned.

We were planning to stay here as a family of three in a two-bedroom apartment. Upon arrival, check-in was quick and the staff at reception were polite. We were given apartment 6021, and at first everything seemed fine.||However, once inside, the disappointment was immediate. The apartment looked nothing like the photos shown online. The furniture and interior were old and worn, the cleanliness was questionable, and overall it did not match the value for money we expected. When we mentioned this to the receptionist, she simply said that all apartments are “standard like this,” which was very surprising given the pictures used for advertising.||We felt completely misled by the online presentation. It’s unfortunate, as the location seemed good and the potential was there, but the accommodation itself was far below expectations.||We left after first night and requested money back.

Lacking SENSE OF CARE after fire inside de sauna. On my last day, I decided to go to the sauna. The sauna was great and looked new. The staff came, turned it on, and I entered. After 10 minutes” I started to see the smoke and I thought it was normal, I fell asleep for a few minutes but I started to cough and I woke up. I went out to have a shower and I smelled smoke when I went back, I opened the sauna’s door it was on fire and smoke everywhere. The access to the sauna wasn’t easy as you need to have a card to enter. If I faint inside due to the smoke it could be fatal. In conclusion, I believe that the staff are unprepared and untrained for an emergency situation. No one asked how I was. The staff just asked what I had done, if I had put water on the stones? What did I do? What had happened with the sauna? My sleep and cough inside the sauna could be due to the inhalation of the smoke, luckily I woke up. However, despite this accident my stay was great, the place is peaceful and clean, nice rooms.

Frequently asked questions about spa hotels in Marbella

What is a spa hotel and what are the benefits of a spa?

A spa hotel is an accommodation establishment that features dedicated wellness facilities, such as saunas, steam rooms, and hydrotherapy pools. Visiting these facilities can provide significant health benefits, including improved circulation, muscle relaxation, and stress reduction. Many guests choose them to enhance their physical well-being while enjoying a tranquil environment.

What are spa breaks and are they worth it?

Spa breaks are short holiday packages that combine a stay in a hotel with access to various spa treatments and wellness facilities. Whether they are worth it depends on your personal goals, but they are often highly valued for providing a structured way to de-stress and rejuvenate. These breaks typically offer a comprehensive experience that balances relaxation with professional wellness services.

How much does a spa day or spa stay cost?

The cost of a spa day or a hotel stay with spa access varies significantly based on the level of luxury, the specific treatments selected, and the time of year. Prices can fluctuate depending on whether you are booking a standalone day pass or an overnight stay. It is generally advisable to check for seasonal rates, as availability and pricing may change during peak holiday periods.

What is the difference between a luxury hotel and a resort?

The main difference lies in the scope of amenities and the intended experience of the guest. While a luxury hotel focuses on high-end accommodations and personalized service, a resort is a self-contained destination that offers extensive on-site facilities like multiple pools, various dining options, and organized activities. In Marbella, both options offer high-quality stays but cater to different styles of leisure.
