This meal was so outstanding we didn’t want it to end. The view was great, the service amazing but the food – out of this world. The flavours, the creativity, the depth were mind blowing. Our waiter Nikita was knowledgeable, kind and considerate (especially to non Spanish speaking visitors). The pace of the meal was perfect – we started with just entrees and that was more than acceptable by Nikita, then he helped us with the mains and then desert. There was never any rush or over salesmaney tactics. Just incredible food done incredibly well. A must if you are in Marbella or Spain for that matter.

There are evenings you simply want to relive. Last night was definitely one of them. The Tuna Cut Show was truly exceptional. The freshest tuna, beautifully crafted dishes, a wonderful atmosphere, live music, and impeccable service came together to create a truly memorable experience. Every detail was thoughtfully executed—from the professionalism of the team to the outstanding cuisine and the impressive variety of dishes. It was an unforgettable evening. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back! ✨🍣

The view, the portions, the prices, the service and the live music is just perfect. Among all these tourists traps, this one is worth a visit and definitely a remarkable example for a great restaurant. Also no long waiting times even though it was quiet busy. We definitely would pay it a visit again if we are in Marbella again!

Ending our trip at Luini Sea View in Old Marbella was the perfect decision. This is one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve experienced. The food stays true to authentic Italian flavors while adding a refined modern twist. It’s the kind of restaurant that deserves to expand across Europe and the Middle East. A special thank you to Daria, whose warm hospitality and genuine friendliness gave us a wonderful first impression. She made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The chicken pizza completely changed my opinion of chicken pizza, it was perfectly balanced and absolutely delicious. The garden salad had a beautifully balanced dressing, the Pil Pil was spicy and full of flavor, the Paccheri “Cacio e Pepe” was an absolute must, and the lemon sorbet was the perfect finish with its refreshing balance of sweet and sour. An unforgettable dining experience and the perfect way to end our Marbella trip. Highly recommended!

Great place for Italian food! We sat inside and it was cool and pleasant. We had starters of pate and Vitello Tonnato which were fresh and delicious. Their pizza and pasta were great. There was no service and we had to wait to order drinks, we noticed that the staff were having lunch and there was almost no one to serve us. We will definitely come back again for the food and the atmosphere.

I enjoyed a lovely dinner at this restaurant. I reserved a table before coming. The waiter who looked after our table was incredibly welcoming and attentive, and we felt very well taken care of throughout the evening. The food arrived quickly, and the pizza was absolutely delicious, my mum even said it was the best pizza she’s ever tasted (and she’s tried quite a few!). The atmosphere in the restaurant was cosy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed evening. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touch of being offered a blanket to keep warm during the January chill, it made the experience feel even more special. I would highly recommend this place and would happily return.

Trocadero Arena exceeded all of our expectations. The restaurant has a stunning African-inspired design, with incredible attention to detail throughout. Every part of the venue is beautifully maintained, creating a unique atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re somewhere truly special. The décor alone is worth the visit. The food was equally impressive. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. You can tell that great care has gone into both the quality of the ingredients and the presentation. The service was friendly, attentive, and professional, making the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. If you’re visiting the Costa del Sol, Trocadero Arena is a must-visit. It perfectly combines outstanding food, exceptional surroundings, and first-class service. We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Very nice beach restaurant with beautiful outside Terrasse. Sitting on the beach underneath palm trees. The inside is super well decorated with lots of wood and style. Feels like a luxury lodge in Africa. Service is very attentive and friendly. Menu is diverse with lots of choice ranging from Spanish specialties to Sushi or fusion food.

We have visited Trocadéro Arena more than 20 times over the years and have always had positive experiences with both the service and the overall atmosphere. That is why it was especially disappointing to see such a significant decline during our most recent visit. Unfortunately, the service was completely unacceptable. The staff seemed uninterested, and there was very little sense of hospitality or customer care. As guests, we did not feel welcome or valued, and the overall experience was in stark contrast to the many positive visits we have had in the past. It is disappointing when a place that we have previously recommended to others delivers such a poor guest experience. We sincerely hope that the management takes this feedback seriously and restores the high standard of service that the venue was once known for.

Having lunch here with the Mediterranean right in front of us was an absolute pleasure. The location is fantastic, with beautiful sea views that instantly create a relaxing holiday atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you want to take your time, enjoy the breeze, and simply appreciate the setting. We ordered the black seafood paella, and it was excellent. The rice was cooked perfectly, full of flavour, and generously filled with seafood. It had that rich, authentic taste you hope to find when ordering a traditional rice dish by the coast. Every bite was delicious, and it was definitely one of the highlights of our meal. The service was friendly and attentive, and although the restaurant was busy, everything arrived at a good pace. The staff made us feel welcome and were happy to answer our questions. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy good Mediterranean food with an unbeatable seaside view, Tony’s Beach Restaurant is a great choice. Good food always tastes even better with the sound of the waves in the background, and this restaurant offers exactly that. I would happily come back the next time I’m in the area.

Absolutely loved this place! 🤍 The view alone is worth coming for, but the food made it even better. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and presented so beautifully. The seafood was amazing, the desserts were delicious, and the drinks were just as impressive. The atmosphere is what really made it special though—sitting right by the water with such a beautiful view made the whole experience feel so relaxing. Service was great, the restaurant is gorgeous, and you can tell they put a lot of thought into every detail.

Came both for drinks and for dinner on two separate occasions and loved it here! Gorgeous beachside views and very tasteful decor in the restaurant. Our servers were Darwin and Joavi and they were funny, friendly and attentive, and made us feel very comfortable. Food and cocktails were delicious, if a little on the pricy side, but we were happy to pay just for the atmosphere! Would definitely come here again if we were in the area!

Was there for a birthday celebration. This is right at the beach but we arrived after sunset. The location can be tricky to find in the dark. They brought out some whole uncooked fish – offered to grill the catch of the day. We chose the biggest one, never heard of the fish before. A little over one hour later, the fish was presented and then they pulled the meat off the bone near our table. It took a long time to cook and the fish was little over cooked. You can opt for the head and tail to be presented also. Fish was ok. Price of fish was the most expensive fish we have had ever. Not really worth what was served with it, small amount of potatoes and sides – not really enough for four people. The staff was great and sang happy birthday with the music in the background in Spanish. Great ambiance and service. Very expensive meal considering the portions and quality, unique experience.

Title: A Local Paella Experience in Marbella Review: I came in hoping for an authentic Spanish evening by the sea — relaxed atmosphere, Spanish music, and good food. The food did deliver: the soup was good, the salad fresh, and the paella nearly perfect — flavorful, generous (easily for two), though a bit oilier than I’m used to. Portions were large, the two soft drinks fit the meal well, and the overall cost felt reasonable. I even left with half a paella for tomorrow. The setting had its quirks — bold red décor, black uniforms, and loud American pop instead of the Spanish music I was expecting. Service was also on the slow side, with no one checking in during the meal. Still, the food made it worthwhile. Four stars for delivering on flavor, even if the overall experience didn’t quite match the picture I had in mind.

In the middle of the tarp covered beach boardwalk you’ll find la Red, and you’ll know because you’ll feel the energy of the engaging, friendly staff. Excellent tapas, attentive waiters while sitting seaside. Doesn’t get better!

The food was very good overall, and the portions were extremely generous. The calamari, croquettes, and pork secreto were especially tasty and well prepared. The octopus was also good, although for my personal taste it had a bit too much sweet paprika. The staff were friendly, but the way the service was organized made things feel less efficient. Different staff members handled drinks, food orders, and payments separately, so we were often redirected to another person depending on what we needed. As a result, everything took quite a long time — from getting someone’s attention, to receiving the food, and even paying the bill.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What a lovely spot. We stumbled upon Sirko Beach and were so glad we did. The food was genuinely amazing, fresh, full of flavour, and just hit the spot. The place has such a calm and relaxed vibe, not overcrowded at all. There was a DJ playing smooth tunes and a guy on the guitar that brought such a nice energy to the evening. It felt special and effortless. Definitely a new favourite.

We had a couple of sunbeds on a Sunday as well as a table for lunch. Staff are very friendly but despite the restaurant not being anywhere near full, the service was very slow. We had to wait 30mins before we could order food, wine came after the starters, it was just difficult to get the servers attention. Sunbed service was great and their cocktails are amazing (but with a price to match). Singer was OK but I suspect that Saturday sessions are more fun. Considering their prices, we were hoping for a better experience.

We had our post wedding lunch here with our 76 guests. Our family and friends thought they were just going to have a “normal” lunch at the beach. They were so surprised it turned out to be a big party! Nazareth from the Events department took care of everything and it looked great: the flowers on the long tables, the food was looking and tasting fantastic, the waiters were the best and off course: Annya, Magasax, Pelu Sanchez and DJ Dan were making a big party out of it! We had such a good time, we wanted to spend an hour longer and Nazareth informed the Coach company to come an hour later. It was the perfect ending of our wedding days. We couldn’t have asked for more.

We had a delicious dinner here with our 19 year old son. We all loved the tasty dishes and Theo home-made sangria. The decoration inside is warm and cosy with a light music and positive energy and the staff we friendly and fast-responding. Unfortunately not possible to transfer the nice smell of the food via photos…😇😋 Strongly recommended!

Gorgeous authentic food with loads of reasonably priced tasty options. My sister and I loved this place and ate there twice. Sangria is on point too. Sea view :*

We visited this place as a group of six and enjoyed tapas and paella, along with some sangria. I can highly recommend it to everyone. The paella was perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious, and the tapas we chose were just as tasty. Overall, a great restaurant that I would definitely recommend. The terrace in particular is very cozy and worth sitting at.

Such a lovely place, delicious food, super friendly staff, and a warm atmosphere! The tapas were excellent as always, tasty and served with a smile. Sitting on the terrace by the water makes it all the more special. One small thing I noticed: the beef tenderloin tapas, which used to be my favorite, are no longer on the menu. Maybe just temporarily unavailable? I really missed them and hope they’ll make a comeback soon!

Beautiful setting and relaxed atmosphere at The Beach House Marbella 🌊 I had the chicken burger with sweet potato fries and it was genuinely very good — flavorful, well cooked, and generous. The quality of the ingredients really comes through. Service was friendly and the overall vibe is great for a beachside lunch or dinner. However, be careful with the extras. The bread and olives served at the beginning are added to the bill without clearly informing you, and the tip is automatically included as an additional line at the end. That’s not something I particularly appreciate — transparency would definitely improve the experience. Overall, good food and a lovely location, just make sure to check your bill.

We had the most wonderful time here with our twins. The atmosphere, food, and customer service were all absolutely outstanding. I could write so much more, but the best way to sum up our experience is simply this: this is our favourite restaurant in Marbella! We loved every moment and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you to the entire team for making us feel so welcome. We will definitely be back again very soon. Warm regards, Ash, Steve & Family

Nice place but so ridiculously overpriced. They advertise tacos for 22.50 only to give you one singular taco (picture shown). We got a burger, wasnt asked how it should be cooked and came out well done. I was asked 3 separate occasions if i was done with my food/drink while there was clearly food/drink left over. I was not impressed. In and out in an hour i didnt want to be there

Hanson's Kitchen

This place is outstanding in every way — the entertainment, the beachfront location, the incredible food, and above all, the staff who treat you like family. It truly checks all the boxes! The owner, Guy, sets the tone. He greets every table personally, remembers the locals by name, and even works alongside the staff taking orders and delivering food. It’s really amazing to see. As for the food — absolutely delicious. We tried dishes from the daily specials, the regular menu, and the dessert menu over three visits, and every time we were blown away. Not a single disappointment!

We love the Beach House, it’s our favourite restaurant in the area and any time we have brought friends new to the area there, turns out it always their favourite too, The food is fab (our favourite dishes are the ribs, tempura of prawns, Sunday roasts….and the knickerbocker glory!). The service is really good, really efficient and friendly. We love the decor, the setting is stunning and the atmosphere is always great, but our absolute favourite is the Sunday lunch with the incredible entertainment line up and fun each week. The team is always helpful and friendly at the Beach House and Natalie especially does such a great job and looks after us so well

The setting is honestly beautiful. Right by the beach with a calm and relaxed atmosphere that instantly puts you in holiday mode. The view alone makes it worth coming, especially if you just want to sit back, enjoy the sun and let the kids play. The water is shallow and really safe for children so it’s a lovely spot for families. The vibe here is chilled and welcoming. There’s something about the sound of the sea and the way the tables are laid out that makes you feel like you can stay for hours. It’s not fancy or overly polished but it has a casual charm that works. Now about the food. It was just okay. Nothing really stood out and I wouldn’t come here just for the meal. Some dishes looked better than they tasted. That said, the service was decent and everyone was friendly enough. They were patient with the kids and didn’t rush us, which was appreciated. All in all, it’s not somewhere I’d rave about for the food but it’s definitely a nice place to relax, have a drink, and enjoy the beach. Perfect for a laid-back afternoon with the family in a beautiful spot.

Really good food, really nice staff and ambiance. Even though it’s not on the menu they can prepare many dishes gluten free and safe for celiacs. Staff is well informed about avoiding cross contamination. Gluten free options include the paellas, and everything from the “plancha”. They also have gluten free bread. The view is lovely and for hot days they have fans installed on the terrace. In winter it’s cozy inside. All in all 10/10 recommended.

We have always loved coming to Los Sardinales, but on the 18th of June we had our wedding lunch there with 112 people, which made it even more special. Everything was absolutely perfect, from the service to the food. They even added beautiful flower decorations to the tables, which created such a lovely atmosphere. We enjoyed a wonderful selection of starters, paella, desserts, beer, wine, cava, sangria, and coffee, and everything was delicious and very well organised. One of the highlights was their fantastic idea to prepare a huge paella in front of our guests, which created such a fun and authentic atmosphere. Our guests absolutely loved the experience, and the paella itself was incredible. The team made us feel incredibly welcome and ensured everything ran smoothly from beginning to end. We would highly recommend Los Sardinales for any special occasion or simply for an amazing dining experience.

Lovely place, loveley setting, reasonably priced given the location. We visited on the way back from Marbella to Benalmadena on a Friday evening during peak tourist season. The parking nearby was easy, and there was no problem getting a table even though we had no reserved. One thing to consider to make a truly remarkable experience is to add some live Spanish music or something Balearic background music.

We visited the restaurant this evening to pop in for a quick gin and tonic with our dogs. We have been coming to this restaurant for over 30 years. We were immediately told to keep the dogs on leads which is fair enough. After ordering our drinks, we asked if the dogs could have some water and were told in an aggressive manner that they did not have any dog bowls available. So I asked in a politely that a Restaurant must have a bowl of some sort which they could fill with water and he refused to give us a bowl of water for the dogs. Eventually, after asking 3 to 4 times to different waiters, we managed to get a bowl of water for our thirsty dogs as we had walked to the restaurant. At one point, my Dog walked away from our table a short distance without his lead and the waiter shouted across the other tables to tell me that the Dog must be on a lead which was both embarrassing and totally unnecessary. My dog is a 13 1/2 year cockatoo so is by no means an aggressive Dog. We have been to this restaurant having lived in Spain for 34 years. The waiter concern was both rude disrespect disrespectful and very aggressive. They clearly don’t welcome dogs in this restaurant and I’d worn other customers not to take their dogs unless they want to be shouted at. 0-10

We had a very disappointing experience, especially considering that we had made a confirmed reservation for 15:30 for an outdoor table. When we arrived, the manager offered us a table inside, despite the fact that our reservation clearly stated “Terraza Exterior” and I had specifically requested outdoor seating. We were then left standing around the entrance for approximately 20 minutes, without even being offered a drink. Only after my husband became frustrated and asked whether we could at least order something to drink were we eventually seated at a high table while waiting. We were finally seated at our actual table around 40 minutes after our confirmed reservation time. What made the situation even more confusing was that a waiter later told us that they “don’t do reservations” because they cannot keep a table waiting for guests to arrive. This makes absolutely no sense: we had a confirmed reservation made through their official online booking system, with a specific time and outdoor seating area. If reservations are not actually respected, why allow customers to book through an online reservation platform in the first place? Service during the meal was also poorly coordinated. We were a group of 9 people, yet the dishes arrived at very different times, meaning some guests were eating while others were still waiting. For a group meal, this is extremely disappointing and awkward. To be fair, the paella, solomillo and fire-grilled fish were very good. However, the oysters, tomato salad and grilled fish dishes were very disappointing and, in our opinion, poor value for the price. Overall, the biggest issue was not simply waiting — it was the complete lack of organisation and the contradictory attitude towards a confirmed reservation. A reservation should mean something. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we would not return.

Marisquería El Ancla offers a coastal dining experience in Marbella, featuring a scenic terrace with ocean views. While the location provides a pleasant natural atmosphere, the interior facilities appear somewhat dated and could benefit from modernization.

The menu includes various seafood options, though food consistency varies significantly across different dishes. Service can be slow during peak periods, making it a destination primarily suited for those seeking maritime scenery over culinary excellence.

Photos are decieving. Place looks super nice from fotos, but its a bit of a dump except the terrace which has a nice view. This is where it stops though. We wouldnt care if the food was good, but nothing at all was good. Russian salad should be called mayosalad (no relation to real spanish style russian salad). Though fish may be fresh, but the cooking methods are not good, and tasteless, and surely cross contaminated since all the fish had the same after taste, the salmon tasted like the squid, and the squid tasted like the turbot. Also paella is not good. (They should do their customers a favour and remove from menu). Service is very rushed during ordering (looked like they had only one waitress to take orders and all other guys just for drinks or delivering food to table) so expect a wait. Which again, i would not mind it with this nice view, if only the food was half decent. On a final note, the review score online is not accurate at all. This is not even 2 star food at best. I usually dont slag off restaurents if they were average, but in this case i have to leave this review to avoid more people to be fooled by the online rating.

The views were lovely, right by the ocean with the sounds of nature all around. The place itself, though, is very worn down, and it feels more like a pool club than a proper restaurant. The food was poor, clearly cost cut and low quality. We left quite disappointed.

N1 spot for top fish freshness and selection, traditional is the theme, geridon service, seafood bar display and tablecloth, people around what this place is know for and it doesn’t change. The three appetizer we had were packed with flavor, the fried lemon anchovy was the best I ever had the chef as the touch, the pepper salad was spot and the soup was also worth ordering we had monkfish for main, in Spain traditionally you eat it with olive oil and salt so don’t respect spices or sauces here on your main course, the wine menu is of great quality and value, we had a pleasant evening and will most definitely visit again.

ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED. After eating here, I have now been seriously ill for four days with severe stomach and intestinal problems. The symptoms started after eating here and strongly resemble a foodborne infection. On top of that, the place seemed unhygienic to me and I found the staff very unfriendly. Considering how sick I became after my visit, I have completely lost confidence in the hygiene and food safety of this place. Personally, I would absolutely not eat here again. After this experience, I will NEVER be coming back.

One of my favorite restaurants in the area, food is simple and fresh as I have always enjoyed, but price is higher and higher each year, specially after Covid 🥶 The Lobster Salad is no longer on the menu, though still can ask for it, but price is €45 per potion now, and seems only 2/3 of quantity as before?

I came here a few years ago, and it was incredible. I visited yesterday and it was atrocious the staff just aren’t friendly anymore. They never really seemed to care about service, you have to wait for ages despite the venue not even really being busy, then when you get your food, you’re given one piece of asparagus with your salmon, 1 piece of asparagus cut in half, 3 very tiny cold very strange old looking potatoes and salmon that’s warm on the top and cold on the bottom. Not the experience I remember and not an experience i would want to have again in a hurry. The car parking attendants really nice really friendly, always happy is just a shame the venue has gone downhill with the service and food.

Honestly the best day we had on my friends celebrations in Marbella. The service was IMPECCABLE. Paula and Ibraham and the rest of the team were so attentive without being intrusive. The staff clearly have great communication and skills, as it was ran like a well oiled machine. An example of the service, I finished my drink and without even having to ask, Paula came over and asked if I wanted another, like she read my mind. The atmosphere was great, the food was gorgeous. I could go on and on with the compliments. 10/10 would highly recommend and definitely will be coming back next time if in Marbella.

For me, this is the best beach club in Marbella for Sunday sunsets, and definitely one of the best for any day of the week. We came as a group of 10 people and everything was excellent — the food, the service, the atmosphere… all perfect. I’ve been a client for 5 years and I’m always happy to come back. Congratulations to the owner, Zazu, for always being present and attentive with everyone — it really says a lot about him. And also to the professional director, Antonio, who has contributed so much with his professionalism and dedication. Highly recommended!

We spent the day at Casanis à la Plage today and, once again, had a fantastic experience. We’re regulars here and were happy to get two amazing sunbeds exactly where we like them. Casanis has a great cocktail menu; would really recommend the hot mango, Caribbean wood and the negroni to enjoy by the seaside. Lunch was fantastic as well, with the la plage steak sandwich & the prawns as the stars of the day. A special thank you to Filip and Jorge for taking great care of us on the beach. They were incredibly attentive, friendly, welcoming, and always around when we needed something without ever being intrusive. Overall, it was another wonderful day and exactly why we keep coming back.

Frequently asked questions about seafood restaurants in Marbella

    Is seafood healthy to eat?

Yes, seafood is widely considered a healthy dietary choice because it is a high-quality source of protein and essential nutrients. Many varieties are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals that support heart and brain health. When dining out, choosing grilled or steamed preparations can help maintain the nutritional benefits of the fish or shellfish.

    How much does seafood cost?

The cost of seafood varies significantly depending on the species, the season, and the specific restaurant setting in Marbella. While some local varieties and smaller fish are more affordable, premium items like lobster or certain types of tuna will command a higher price point. Prices typically fluctuate based on whether you are dining at a casual beachside spot or a fine-dining establishment.

    What is considered seafood?

Seafood is a broad culinary category that includes any edible aquatic-derived product, primarily fish and shellfish. This includes finfish (such as sea bream or sea bass), crustaceans (like prawns and crabs), and mollusks (such as mussels and clams). In many local menus, you will find a variety of these items prepared in traditional Mediterranean styles.

    Where to get good seafood?

You can find high-quality seafood at various restaurants and markets throughout the Marbella area. To ensure freshness, it is often best to look for establishments that source their daily catch from local coastal suppliers. Checking the daily menu is a great way to see what was caught most recently and is currently available for preparation.
