i signed up for the gastric balloon and since last September i have lost 20k so far and i still have 3 months to go. I have found the people at Dorsia to be very friendly and helpfull.

I paid €2300 and did not get ANY visible results. Cool sculpting and fillers. Plus botox. When complaining, they say that Botox only lasts 3 months which is not true in my case. Every time in the past I had Botox, it has lasted for a very long time. Besides, that cost is a small fraction of the expensive total cost. They don’t seem to care about if the client is happy or not. Carolina only sells the treatments and then she doesn’t care anymore. Do NOT use this clinic!!!

Look at the pictures below… I signed up for 12 months with a gastric balloon at the Dorsia Clinic. I lost 28 kilos during the 12 months. The balloon was withdrawn in April this year and I have not put back even 1 kilo since then… My personal experience: I had reached a point at which it was almost impossible for me to lose weight. I was too heavy to exercise due to back pains or getting tired too quickly, and since I was sleeping very badly due to overweight, I was feeling tired and hungry for sugar after a long day… My goal was to push myself mechanicaly, with the balloon, to lose enough weight to start walking, then swimming, then weight lifting, then move to HIIT, to implement a healthy routine and get encouraged by the visible results. The 3 days prior to the “operation” (15 minutes, less worrying than the dentist) and the first 4 days with the balloon were a bit exhausting (eating only tiny portions of light soup). I had absolutely no secondary effects (vomitting etc..) But after that initial period, my energy started to kick back, and the whole effort started to pay very quickly. The balloon was really there to help me lose weight quickly for the first 3 months, and then keep healthy portions afterwards. The Dorsia program also included frequent appointments with Susana, the nutritionist. I have to say that she has helped me a lot understanding what my body needed, and in which quantities/frequency. We are very much influenced by everything that we read on the web, and she is an expert in explaining in simple words what is true, and what is not. The pit stop and discussion with her every 2 weeks helped me keeping track of my meals and weight. I can only recommend the experience for those who want an extra help to lose weight, but also have the required motivation and strength to not only count on the balloon to do the job. I exercise every day, sleep fantasticaly well, am less anxious in general, dress the way i like, and I can now share much more activities with my beautiful wife and daughter…. I would like to share my experience about my second liposuction and BBL with Dr. Aslani. After not being happy with the results of my first surgery elsewhere, I was quite nervous to go through this process again. From the beginning, Abby was incredibly supportive. I’ve been to Dr Aslani at Cirumed 6 times now for surgeries ( bbl, SBBL, bbl/ hips, tummy tuck, more bbl lol ) and I wouldn’t actually go anywhere else ( except for things he dosent offer 😉 ) the staff are so lovely and professional, the clinic is so clean and relaxing! Dr Aslani and his team have been exceptional and i’ll save a review for later but, at this time, i want to provide specific feedback about Abi who has been with me from the start of my journey. She has coordinated matters seamlessly and was very responsive to any questions or concerns that i had in the run up to my surgery. Abi has tremendous people skills, a cheerful voice and a smile providing genuine encouragement when needed and unwavering support. It’s been a true pleasure to meet Abi and hope that those of you who decide to “take the plunge” are fortunate enough to have Abi with you every step of the way! I wanted to provide a separate review with respect to lymphatic massages since I believe that this is important for both physical and mental recovery following 360 liposuction and abdominoplasty but unfortunately, I can only edit my initial review. I was initially worried that this might be painful but not at all – this is truly a gentle massage with pushing movements using palms or fingertips to help the lymphatic system to drain away excess fluid. I LOVE everything about this place. I had the old filler in my lips dissolved and new filler was put in. My lips looks just perfect now! I’m so glad I did this! I had my blood test today with Marta — she’s absolutely adorable. So gentle, and she found my vein on the first try, which is amazing as I’ve always had awful experiences in the past. Also, a big thank you to Dr. Nezha Ouahla. She’s such a lovely doctor. Overall, a very pleasant experience. P.S. if the receptionist lady’s,especially the elderly ones will be more relaxed,empathetic and not grumpy while they asked or give info to the patients ,I think this will have a huge improvement to the clinic 🙌

SCAM!!! I’ve been waiting for over a month for my first trimester screening results — an extremely important test. No one at the clinic seems to care. They took €500, and that’s where their responsibility apparently ended. The doctor was supposed to call me with the results one week after my appointment on February 9th. Today is March 18th, and I still haven’t received anything. Last week, after spending hours complaining to customer support, the doctor finally called me and said there had been some kind of mistake in the lab, and that she would inform me as soon as she got an update. I am still waiting. I have never experienced such a terrible attitude toward patients!!! The worst clinical ever!!!!!!!!!

Very disappointed with the service at Hospital Quirónsalud Marbella. The attitude at the reception is extremely unhelpful and dismissive. Staff seem unwilling to assist or provide any real support. It feels like they simply don’t want to deal with patients’ questions or problems. You can end up waiting for a very long time at the desk while nothing seems to happen, and no one offers any explanation or tries to help. For a private hospital that presents itself as a high-level medical facility, this level of service and attitude is very disappointing.

My experience with the majority of their specialists is positive. It’s usually fast and straight forward once you figure out when you have to go. However, I just went for the first time to the ER and if I was rating only this, I would be giving them no stars at all. Reception staff was welcoming and great but that’s where the good service ends. The waiting area is small, they take almost an hour for the nurse to call you. Then back to the waiting room and wait another hour for a doctor to call you. If I had known this I would had just gone to the public health system. Why to pay to wait so long? Once inside, after telling the doctor than I had been been sick for a month and told him my symptoms, he prescribed me a medication and left without him even touching me. Wait two hours and spend 2 minutes with the doctor….

I gave birth on Wednesday 14/9/22 at Quiron, and I had the most amazing team and care. The matron (midwife) Alex, he was amazing the entire time, made me feel so safe and comfortable. I was a bit worried at first having a man, but he was truly amazing, helped guide me the entire time and helped me not to tear at all. I will be eternally grateful for his help and care. Also Rosa one of the nurses was amazing, she helped me so so much and was amazing when I needed help the most when I was getting an epidural. I will always remember them on the birthing of my beautiful baby girl. All the staff were amazing and took such good care of us for the 3 days we were there. I would definitely recommend the hospital. Thank you so much for everything.

I recently visited this hospital’s emergency department with my partner, and while parts of the experience were genuinely positive, one critical aspect was extremely disappointing. The medical staff — both doctors and nurses — were professional, attentive, and highly supportive throughout our visit. Their level of care and dedication deserves recognition. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the reception experience. The receptionist we dealt with was notably unhelpful, slow, and displayed a dismissive attitude from the start. When we contacted our insurance provider, she refused to proceed, claiming the document format was “not acceptable,” yet made no effort to clarify what format was required. The insurer explicitly stated they were ready to provide all necessary documentation but needed guidance from the hospital on the exact requirements — something the receptionist seemed unwilling to provide. Her behavior came across as unnecessarily obstructive and uncooperative. Rather than assisting in resolving a straightforward administrative issue, she appeared to avoid responsibility and shift the burden onto us. Ultimately, we had no choice but to pay out of pocket and handle the insurance reimbursement ourselves. This kind of attitude is unacceptable in a healthcare setting, especially in an emergency context where patients are already under stress. It significantly undermines an otherwise competent medical team and leaves a lasting negative impression.

I strongly do not recommend this hospital. The service is extremely disappointing. They almost never answer the phone, WhatsApp messages are ignored, and the reception staff are not helpful at all when you need assistance. I booked an appointment, traveled all the way to the hospital, and when I arrived, I was told there was no appointment under my name. It was a complete waste of my time. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated incident. I have tried several times to contact the hospital regarding an urgent matter, and every single time I have been transferred from one department to another with nobody answering or taking responsibility. Considering how expensive this hospital is, this level of service is completely unacceptable. When it comes to healthcare, patients deserve professionalism, proper communication, and reliable customer service. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone.

I’ve had a very positive experience at HC Marbella, mainly through endocrinology and pulmonology consultations related to sleep, weight, and general health. In endocrinology, the care was excellent. I felt listened to and properly guided from the beginning. The doctor ordered comprehensive blood tests, reviewed important markers such as cortisol, and explained clearly what I could do to lose weight and improve my overall situation. He also supported me with treatment options and medication where appropriate. The approach felt serious, practical, and very professional. In pulmonology, my experience was also positive. The specialist reviewed my case carefully and helped clarify important questions around sleep and breathing. I especially appreciated that he did not simply assume a previous diagnosis was correct, but instead looked at whether sleep apnea was really the main issue. Overall, I felt that the doctors genuinely tried to help, with clear explanations and professional care. For a private hospital in Marbella, I also found the consultation prices reasonable compared with other private clinics I have used. My overall experience has been very good, and I’m grateful for the care I received.

My experience at this hospital has been positive when it comes to the doctors. The medical care and professionalism have been great. Unfortunately, the experience at the reception areas was very different. On several occasions, there were long waiting times, very limited communication, and a general lack of clarity. For one of my tests, I was not properly guided on how to prepare, and I had to look up the instructions myself to be sure I was doing it correctly. That should not happen. The tone at the reception area downstairs felt distant and, at times, uncomfortable. It is a sensitive moment for most patients, and even small gestures, such as clear explanations or a more welcoming attitude, make a real difference. I believe there is room for improvement, either through better training in patient care or by moving toward more automated systems, similar to what Quirón has implemented. Reducing the need to wait at reception and streamlining administrative steps would greatly improve the overall experience. The medical team reflects a high standard of care. With some attention to the reception experience, the hospital as a whole could match that same level.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Dr. Marco Antonio Herrera Ruiz. He is an outstanding professional with truly golden hands. The injection was completely painless — I didn’t feel it at all, which was very important for me, especially because I have anxiety. The wisdom tooth extraction was quick, gentle, and very smooth. The doctor worked at the highest level — you can clearly see his experience, confidence, and care for the patient. I would also like to highlight the service and the speed of the appointment. In Spain, it is usually very difficult to get a quick appointment, especially at an affordable price, but here everything was perfect. I am extremely satisfied and highly recommend this doctor to everyone.

I came here for the first time over a year ago. Being from the United States where healthcare is at its finest, I found HC Hospital FANTASTIC. Everything from making appointments on WhatsApp which is ridiculously convenient to the doctors who are amazing. Having had to stay four days in the hospital I can attest the food here is AMAZING! I had to come in for a gastroscopy this afternoon, and I just wanted to thank the staff, especially the anaesthesiologist that worked with me. I have a very intense fear of needles and I was a bit of a mess, but everything went very smoothly and quickly, from sedation to recovery. Thank you so much for your care and patience. Unfortunately, with the state I was in, I now can’t recall the name of the professional who worked with me, but I just wanted to leave this here regardless, because I’m really grateful. If I ever have to undergo any sedated procedures here again, I’ll definitely feel way more at ease.

The standard of treatment I have received at HC Hospital has been absolutely excellent. Great experience all round at this clinic. Wonderful help from Patricio all the way through, from making the dermatology appointment to helping me with parking and ensuring everything ran on schedule. I was treated by Dr Victoria Alegria Landa, who was super helpful, gave me lots of time, and answered all my questions. I wouldn’t hesitate to return to the clinic.

I went there and was referred to a doctor. Dr said have an ultrasound. Then see a general surgeon. This I did. Surgeon said. You have a problem. You need to see a vascular surgeon. And have a ct scan and blood tests. These I had. Made an appointment for a vascular surgeon. 6 weeks was earliest appointment. This was cancelled the day before but rebooked for a few days later. Presented myself. Ask him if he was a vascular surgeon as he didn’t seem to know what he was doing. He said he was not. ( turns out he was a varicose vein specialist Totally inappropriate for my needs)He referred me back to the original surgeon. I have now seen him. He says. I can’t help you. You must see a vascular surgeon. Seems they do not have one!!!!! But they say they will find one. So with tests and visits I have been there 5 times. All I know is that I have a major problem and basically could explode at any time. Not a great way to live. Meanwhile I’m sure they are billing fees to sanitas for unnecessary and spurious consultations. Fee farming is a great sport. Have since seen a top vascular surgeon in London ( self funded). A clinic that doesn’t live up to its name. I never leave negative reviews. This is actually the first time I do. But this isn’t just a matter of dissatisfaction — this is a case of blatant disregard for the law. I went to Clínica Premium Marbella for a medical test required by my insurance company. After the exam, I simply asked to take a photo of my own medical results, as clearly allowed by Spanish law (Law 41/2002 + GDPR). The answer? A flat-out refusal from the receptionist. I reminded her that this is my personal health data, and that I have a legal right to access it. She smirked, and refused again — even after I showed her the legal texts. No explanation. No justification. Just open contempt for the law and the patient. And this wasn’t even my first bad experience there. A week earlier, during a blood draw at this same center, it took three failed attempts, unnecessary pain, and left me feeling like a test subject. I said nothing at the time. But not this time. Because this isn’t about comfort or competence anymore. It’s about fundamental rights. So I have one simple question for the management of this clinic: 👉 At your so-called “Clínica Premium”, is respect for the law optional?

The worst clinic in Marbella. They combine sessions to shorten the treatment and unprofessional. If you have private insurance do not go there because they treat you with no importance as they don’t get paid enough! Waste of patients time

Disgraceful service if you can call it service! No wonder they are having less patients using their facility. I was out there today and none of the seven people managing the counter could be of help. All I needed was to sign a consent form to have a minor surgery done by a dermatologist. Not only did they not provide the form but they had no clue I was there for that procedure which was scheduled for today. I am not going back to Clinica Premium Marbella.

I have been a patient of the Clinica Premium for over 12 years for an evolving Urological issue. I have found the service and advice to be prompt and to the highest standard. Appointments, investigations and surgery have all proceeded without issues and after effects- I could not be more pleased and have absolute confidence in the clinic. Barry P

These people can’t even manage an appointment book, if you decide to trust them with your health, good luck to you. Edited after reply received: I’ll gladly provide more detail, I arrived for my appointment, presented myself to your receptionist and got told I was mistaken, that my appointment was the next day. Presented myself again the next day, got told my appointment was the day before. There are only 2 people in Spain with my surname, therefore it’s impossible to confuse me with another patient. This is my first experience with this clinic, do you honestly think I should trust you with my medical data after his first experience of your professionalism?
