Extremely caring and compassionate – if I could give seven stars I would. On holiday one of my dad’s hearing aids became damaged. Without them he’s unable to hear us. I phoned the store at 9am, they were very understanding, whilst they usually run to appointments they explained if we came down they’d try and fit us in. They were able to repair the hearing aid within the hour, my dad can hear again and is able to enjoythe rest of his holiday. 🙏🙏🙏

I cannot begin to tell you how brilliant the service was in this clinic. My son had a badly blocked ear on holiday and I made a mistake and brought him to a terrible clinic in Fuengiriola. Charged me hundreds and did not fix problem. The Clinica NorMed saw my son and within 2 minutes did a microsuction on his ear and sorted him out . Never saw him smile to hard as that day. A friend recommended this clinic to us after my mother became extremely frustrated with her previous doctor, who kept prescribing various medications without proper explanation, she has always been an healthy and fit person but it seems like because she is now 78 years old he thinks she needs to take all sorts and now wanted to add even more. Meeting Dr. Beate Abraham-Nilsen was truly a blessing. She took the time to explain everything clearly to my mother, making sure we both understood the situation. We left the appointment feeling reassured and confident, which is rare in today’s medical world. We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Beate Abraham-Nilsen and highly recommend her to anyone seeking a doctor who truly cares. Her staff is also wonderful, welcoming, kind, and professional. It was a refreshing experience compared to the large hospitals we have around.

Highly recommend this clinic! I live locally and have visited several times for both me and my young children. The doctor is excellent, listens carefully, and provides helpful, expert guidance and diagnoses. The nurses are kind and wonderful – administering my children’s vaccines and blood tests with kindness and patience (they are both very scared of needles!). Even though I have private insurance and could get treatment for free elsewhere , I often choose to pay and use Normed as the service is so good – and with a smile too. They speak fluent English – another plus!

Best of the best. I tried several other clinics & private hospitals in Marbella & Puerto Banús before Vertigo Balance, and none come close. Vertigo Balance is far ahead of the rest. I honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough… Not only did they eliminate my worries and fears, but also identified and fixed the problem. A massive thanks to the team: Dr. Amaro, Rocio and Tiago. They were all very helpful, kind and knowledgable. Long story short, I had visited 9 other doctors in the area over a two week period and no one knew what was going on or had any answers for me. After researching online about what my problem could be, I then stumbled across Vértigo Balance and thought I’d give it a go. I phoned on a Friday (the one day a week their ENT specialist is in the clinic) and they said they were fully booked with appointments, but nonetheless they managed to squeeze me in between appointments to run a consultation and initial tests. They had an idea of the issue (of which they told me in detail) but needed to conduct further specialist testing to provide a 100% diagnosis. They said they would only be able to do this the following Friday but unfortunately I would not have been in the country by then due to having planned a vacation months prior. They again, stood up to the plate, and agreed to see me to conduct these further tests the same day after they had finished at 20:00. They saw me later, diagnosed the problem and prescribed me with the correct medication. After a course of 10 days taking the medicine I was completely back to normal and functioning again. To note, I was in a very uncomfortable state; dizzy/slurring my words (I was not able to work, drive, exercise etc.) so if all had stayed the same, my holiday definitely would have been off the cards. Let alone my normal day to day life. This might sound far stretched but they honestly saved me and my holiday! Their clinic was very impressive with high tech equipment and expertise. I hope I don’t need to use their services again… But if need be, I will definitely not hesitate to go back. I can’t thank them enough and I am very appreciate for their service. I couldn’t recommend them more.

I have had the good fortune to have known and been treated by Dr Carlos O,Connor for many years and have suffered severe Ear problems requiring many operations. Carlos is diligent,very brilliant in his profession.He is attentive and has dealt with me at weekends and unsociable hours. I would recommend his services 100%

Feel so sorry I trusted Dr Carlos and done the recommended throat surgery. For the past 1.5 – 2 years since I’ve done this 99% success( if you do the laser that is not covered by insurance €600), I’ve done the unsuccessful laser and left with a closed nostril which gets blocked twice a day so I have to use sprays to relief. I went back to the dr. And he didn’t really took any responsibility and actually said it looks ok but if you want to do another we can do it…. Since this I have lost all my trust with doctors and lost all believe that they want to do good , the feeling I have from this is that it’s all about the money, checking with another dr and he said I actually didn’t need to go through this as I came to treat snoring which is not happening from the nose. I feel like I’m injured, all day I feel the lack of air and will definitely not go through this or other again. Don’t be rushing and don’t let them sell you surgeries because they do that. Hope I’ve helped someone with my experience as it leaves you worse then before.

Dr. Povedano helped me by correcting my deviated nasal septum and performing turboplasty – the results exceeded all my expectations! My breathing has significantly improved, and with it, the overall quality of my life. He uses modern, high-quality equipment and provides excellent post-surgical care, which made the whole experience smooth and comfortable.

I have a history of otitis and I informed the doctor about that and ask for serious treatment right away. Doctor told me to take ibuprofen 3times per day amd assured me that if I don’t get better he will send me antibiotics prescriptionby email. So I spent next 8 day with my ears blocked and emailed him. After 3days I got a response prescribing me 7 days of ibuprofen more, such a joke. Went to another doctor and took antibiotics – got better on the second day.

For years, breathing was a struggle for me due to small nostrils and injuries, affecting my sleep and daily life with constant discomfort and anxiety. Dr. Povedano’s surgical intervention was a game-changer. My nostrils were widened, allowing me to breathe easily for the first time in years. This surgery has not only improved my physical health but has transformed my life, removing the stress and panic that came with every breath. I am profoundly grateful to Dr. Povedano for his expertise and care. His work has truly given me a new lease on life.

Dr. Povedano is superb in every respect. I was a bit worried because the patient before me was a child who had stuck an object right up his nose and was screaming hysterically for 10 minutes before my appointment. But my own treatment went smoothly and painlessly. I had the added benefit of his considerable worldly knowledge dispensed throughout the treatment. Would give 7 stars if possible.

I went to see Dr. Hernández because I had been dealing with constant nasal discharge and wouldn’t stop running my nose for a long time. For months, I thought I simply had a cold that wouldn’t go away, but time passed and the symptoms remained the same. When I finally saw Dr. Hernández, he realized it wasn’t a simple cold, but an infection that had caused sinusitis and was affecting the inside of my nose. Apparently, when I had a cold, I put a small piece of paper in my nose and, without realizing it, a small part of it entered the inside of the nostril. That foreign body ended up causing an infection and, as a consequence, part of one of the turbinates became damaged. The infection had become quite serious. One of my eyes had even started to water and, as Dr. Hernández explained to me, that watering could be related to the nasal infection itself, since the nasal area and the eye are closely connected. That same day, Dr. Hernández acted quickly: he managed to extract all the pus that had accumulated inside the nostril, thoroughly cleaned the entire area, and removed the damaged part of the turbinate. Afterward, he prescribed the necessary medication to treat the infection. The following week, I returned to the hospital for a check-up to ensure everything was progressing correctly. Thanks to his intervention and the treatment, I managed to clear the infection and recover completely. Today, I am healthy, I haven’t had any more problems with my nose, and I am enormously grateful to Dr. Hernández for detecting what was actually happening and acting in time. Ese cuerpo extraño terminó provocando una infección y, como consecuencia, parte de uno de los cornetes llegó a deteriorarse. La infección había llegado a ser bastante seria. Incluso había empezado a lagrimearme uno de los ojos y, según me explicó el doctor Hernández, ese lagrimeo podía estar relacionado con la propia infección de la nariz, ya que la zona nasal y el ojo están estrechamente conectados. Ese mismo día, el doctor Hernández actuó rápidamente: consiguió extraer todo el pus que se había acumulado en el interior del orificio nasal, limpió a fondo toda la zona y retiró la parte del cornete que estaba deteriorada. Después, me pautó la medicación necesaria para tratar la infección. A la semana siguiente volví al hospital para realizar una revisión y comprobar que todo estuviera evolucionando correctamente. Gracias a su intervención y al tratamiento, conseguí acabar con la infección y recuperarme por completo. A día de hoy estoy sana, no he vuelto a tener problemas con la nariz y estoy enormemente agradecida al doctor Hernández por haber detectado lo que realmente estaba ocurriendo y haber actuado a tiempo. I highly recommended Clinica Dr. Casado, the medical staff is very accommodating. Dr. Casado taking care me well, his explanation about my health condition (allergic rhinitis) is very clear to understand. And even though I came late to my appointment schedule they still welcomed me.

I went to see Dr Casado about my ear pain, turns out it was an infection! Dr Casado quickly diagnosed me and scheduled an appointment for a myringotomy. I was worried about doing this procedure (hospitals and doctors make me queasy), but Dr Casado was so nice and caring! He walked me through the whole procedure and answered all of my questions in detail. Honestly, the best doctor I’ve ever had. My ear feels as good as new now and I’m very grateful to the clinic 🙂

Was referred to Doctor Casado last May, when I managed to go deaf in one ear. I’m not too keen on visiting doctors and dentists at the best of times, but seeing Doctor Casado was one of the best moves I’ve made for a long time! I went a few years ago after seeing several ENT specialists for my chronic pharyngitis, and no one could give me a solution for the hoarseness and roughness I had; drinking water and not straining my voice was the only solution. Dr. Casado prescribed a vaccine for me that cured my throat after about a month. Now I am back to the same condition after the summer with the air and fans, and obviously, I am returning to his clinic again.
