Rodya Troyke

Very nicely located Chiringuito/ Beach Restaurant. Very reasonably priced and extremely friendly service. The house wine is excellent, so is the food and the presentation of it. Our new favorite at la costa del sol.

If you’re looking for an authentic Andalusian beach chiringuito in Marbella, Restaurante de Sergio is a must-visit. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and Sergio, the owner, is always around making sure everyone feels at home. He’s such a kind and genuine person. The food is outstanding—fresh, delicious local Andalusian cuisine at very reasonable prices. The beachfront setting offers beautiful sea views, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal. Highly, highly recommended. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Restaurante Da Sergio is one of our absolute favorite beach spots in Marbella! It’s the perfect place if you’re looking for a relaxed and less crowded beach day, with very comfortable sunbeds and a beautiful setting. The food is truly delicious, everything we’ve tried has been fresh and full of flavor. The price-quality ratio is excellent, which makes it even more enjoyable. Their cocktails are great, and the wine list is impressive as well. But what really makes this place special is the staff. They are always incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming, it genuinely feels like coming home every time we visit. A big plus for us is that our dog is welcome most of the year, which makes it even more special. Highly recommended if you’re in Marbella!

Come for the view… stay for the food. Absolutely beautiful view of the beach. The paella took a while, but they made it to order so it was understandable. 30-35 minutes waiting for the entree. Passed by quickly with the beach and the bread. They don’t have smaller portions, so if you are alone, be prepared to take some home.

This place was absolutely wonderful! It was our very first stop in Marbella, and we couldn’t have been happier. The food was bursting with flavor, every dish was delicious and full of personality. The staff made the experience even better; they were so welcoming and attentive, and even gave us great suggestions on places to visit during our stay. We left feeling grateful and excited, and we can’t recommend this restaurant enough. Definitely add it to your list when you are in Marbella!

An amazing new small place in Marbella. We came in especially to have their Paella. All I can say is WOW. Paella was incredible. Add to that awesome tapas and friendly and attentive service – and it makes for a great dinner. 1000% recommend.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing from start to finish. The food was genuinely awful, and when we raised concerns, we were told that the chef was off—apparently the reason things weren’t up to standard. Unfortunately, that doesn’t excuse what we were served. The rack of lamb was particularly shocking: it arrived as little more than a pile of bones with barely any meat on them. The salmon was overcooked to the point of being dry and unappetizing, and the mashed potato had a gluey, gloop-like texture that made it hard to eat. To the server’s credit, they did replace the lamb with another dish free of charge, which we appreciated. However, the replacement was just as disappointing as the original. To make matters worse, when we asked for the bill, it was incorrect and included items we had never received, which then had to be pointed out and corrected. Overall, the experience was far below expectations, and we wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Fish on the barbecue, feet in the sand, beautiful fresh food. What could be better? Go past 3 Pepes and have lunch in this hidden (but surprisingly big) chieinguito. I’ve been several times, order the typical spanish fare (fried seafood, fish on the plancha or bbq fire). You can’t go wrong. Excellent service today when I arrived at 5 pm, strange time for Spain, was served flawlessly with great care.

This place had a beautiful view which was really nice (we ate there during sunset). The food was all pretty good except for the red snapper we ordered which was a rip off because for 100 euros we didn’t expect it to be so dry. I can make better fish at home. I would recommend ordering another type of fish that is not on the spit. The salmon tartar was also made out of smoked salmon which was ok but it would have tasted better with real salmon. Overall it’s a decent place to try.

Came for dinner with friends and really enjoyed this place. We wanted to try some authentic Spanish paella, and it was really delicious. Considering the fact this place is right next to the sea justifies the prices. Overall, everything was great.

Everything about this place is absolutely fantastic. The man who I assume is the manager was very friendly and offered us a free glass of sangria with our meal. He treated us like old friends when he saw us each time after our first night. We then ordered a jug of sangria between the two of us and a seafood paella. The lovely waitress caught on every time my partner went to pour us each a glass of sangria and swiftly took over and poured it for us and the waiter brought us our paella to show us so we could take a picture before he plated it up. He then brought the empty dish over to show us that we had all of it which was great! The total came to €50! We were then comparing every other place we ate at to this one and not only had we spent more everywhere else, but we also were not as impressed with the food or the service as we were here. We left full and happy after THREE wonderful evenings sat practically on the beach, outside the best restaurant in Marbella.

THE BEST healthy spot in Marbella – the Owner Brian is a legend! Okay, let me start by saying this.. the owner is honestly one of the best people I have ever met. Like, genuinely kind, super welcoming, and he truly cares about everyone – his team, his customers. He is going to make sure you are well taken care of from the second you step in. And wait for it… he speaks FIVE languages! English, Spanish, French, German, and Dutch. How amazing is that? You immediately feel at home no matter where you’re from. Now the food? Oh my god. Fresh, colorful, full of flavor, and actually good for you. I really believe in ‘Healthy food, Healthy Mind’ and I swear it’s real. Every bite makes you feel good inside and out. They’ve got fresh salads, bowls – everything you need to recharge. If you’re in Marbella and you want something light, tasty, and nutritious, this is YOUR place. I’m being serious – whenever I need a healthy meal, this is my absolute go-to. No question about it. So if you’re visiting Marbella, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and drop by for a fresh, healthy snack or a full meal. Your body and your mind will thank you later!

The food here was so delicious, it felt like eating in my mum’s kitchen. The staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome the second we walked in. On top of that, the prices are so reasonable for the quality you get. Plus, the location is perfect; it’s close enough to everything without being stuck right in the middle of all the crazy marina exposure. Nomad is such a beautiful restaurant—I truly enjoyed my solo dinner here tonight. They had plenty of vegetarian options, and every dish was full of flavor. I started with the corn ribs, then had the cauliflower and broccolini with a side of Japanese rice—everything was delicious. The ambiance is amazing, the servers were kind, and the music was just right. Definitely one of those places you wish you could bring back home—I’d love to have a Nomad in the United States!

Was pleasantly surprised by this place. Normally, when a restaurant has a great view and atmosphere, the food doesn’t quite live up to it, but this was the complete opposite. We had the pork shoulder and truffle arancini to start, followed by the lamb chops and Korean chicken for mains. Everything was outstanding. Highly recommend Nomad. Hassan made us feel very welcome.

From the moment we arrived, this Mediterranean gem felt special. We were greeted warmly by Terry at the door, who was an absolute gentleman, and received the best service from Hassan throughout the evening. His recommendations were spot on, and he genuinely made sure we had the best possible experience. The live entertainment was fantastic — an uplifting female DJ, a live singer with the most melodious voice, completed with a gentleman on the bongo drums. The three of them really brought the restaurant to life. Beautiful ambience, delicious food, and such a lovely atmosphere. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. A special thank you to Terry and Hassan 🙏

Great food selection, with dishes that are beautifully prepared and clearly crafted by a talented chef. The decor and scenery are also lovely. Unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing. The servers seemed disorganized and repeatedly forgot items. It took 40 minutes just to take our order. We were there for a birthday and requested a surprise cake, which they forgot twice. When it finally arrived, they had even forgotten the silverware. It’s sad to see a beautiful and expensive place undermined by such unprofessional service. This leaves a very poor impression of Nomad, a place we usually know to be excellent.

Such a wonderful restaurant in the old town. We ordered croquettas, prawn pil pil and a chicken and seafood paella. The food was spectacular, as was the atmosphere (a beautiful courtyard), plus there was live singers with the most incredible voices. Highly recommend

Absolutely incredible evening. Stumbled upon the place luckily. Had a small sign saying ‘live music’, young waiter showed us to our seats in the patio area. Food was just delicious, then halfway through our meal the waiter breaks out into Nessun dorma which had us both in tears as it was the last night of our trip on which we got married. What an experience! Thank you so much we will be back.

I LOVED IT. Wanted to find affordable paella in Marbella, but to my surprise this was not only affordable (€15,50 pp) BUT THE BEST I’ve had here!! I recommend getting the black paella, it’s incredible. And then the waiter and another staff member suddenly started singing 😂😭🫶🏼 I think it was an opera performance!!!! 😭 It was so sudden but SO COOL. Literally my favorite place in Marbella, you’re gonna miss out if you don’t go I swear. Not sure if they do the singing all the time but we went on a Monday at around 19:30-21:00!

Stumbled across this place by chance! The owner is a very happy chappy, he clearly has bucket loads of passion for the restaurant business. The romantic ambiance that has been created is adorable, he has thought of everything. This place offers excellent food, great service, happy waiters/waitresses they all laugh together and with guests, then just as you think it can’t be improved upon the waiters an waitresses start to sing sometimes together, sometimes individually with a guitar! the finale was the pretty cook arrives from the kitchen door singing opera! Why would you wish to go anywhere else! Best restaurant in town by a mile. We have visited twice this week so far! Love it! Love it!

We have been coming to Chelo for many years and it gets better and better each year! The chef, Ali, prepares the most delicious and fresh authentic Lebanese food and the quality is exceptional. Service is always attentive, polite and professional and Aziz always manages the restaurant impeccably. We would highly recommend it for anyone looking for delicious Lebanese food in the Marbella and surrounding areas, it’s superb.

We spent an exquisite evening at Chelo Libanese Exotic, exquisit and exclusive! From the moment we arrived Ahmed took wonderful care of us, he is extremely friendly and recommended excellent choices, we ordered hummus, tabouleh, spicy red pepper cream and for our main course mixed meat skewers. The taste of each dish is a great experience, good quantity and authentic Lebanese food. To finish we tried a dessert (flan type) infused with orange blossom flowers and topped with ground pistachio, simply an indescribable aroma and taste. The place is decorated in an elegant and modern Arabic style. You have to go with a good budget, but the experience is worth it. We went on a weekday so we didn’t get to enjoy the live music and Arabic dance that is offered more frequently as summer approaches. It is a place to recommend with our eyes closed, it exceeded our expectations, we will definitely be back.

We ordered gluten-free and milk free via the Glovo app. Also called restaurant to make sure. Yes no problem. Then when food arrives, all dishes are with allergies so we can’t eat anything. Ok, we try to get them to fix the problem and call them but they have done nothing wrong, everything is in order. They seem totally unwilling or understanding to correct the mistake. Just all wrong all the way.

It is rare to find exceptional hospitality, outstanding food quality, prompt service, and meticulous attention to detail all in one place, but that is exactly what I experienced at Bakoa Restaurant on old town- Marbella- Spain. It was an exceptional dining experience by every standard. The food was absolutely delicious, prepared to perfection, and I could not find a single flaw. This clearly reflects the restaurant’s commitment to the highest standards of quality and excellence. I would also like to commend the warm welcome, the genuine smiles on every staff member’s face, their professionalism, their prompt service, and their sincere dedication to ensuring every guest feels comfortable from the moment they arrive until they leave. These thoughtful touches make a remarkable difference and leave a lasting positive impression. My sincere appreciation and gratitude go to the restaurant’s management and the entire team for maintaining such an outstanding level of professionalism and hospitality. I wish you continued success and excellence, and I hope you remain a benchmark for exceptional food, gracious hospitality, and first-class service. My rating with complete confidence: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐️

I was really hoping to like this place. The service wasn’t great. The lobster paella was soupy, bland, and the lobster was extremely overcooked. It took almost 30 minutes for our table to get drinks, and every time they came out with drinks they always forgot one. The server who took our first drink order only wrote down two drinks and then turned around and walked away before asking the rest of the table for their order. For the amount of servers waiting on our table you would think it would be more organized.

The restaurant is very cozy. The outdoor terrace must be especially pleasant in the summer. It’s perfectly located, right next to the church on a charming pedestrian street. The food is truly flavorful — my parents and I enjoyed every bite. The staff are friendly and always smiling. I’ll definitely come back without hesitation!

GAIA Marbella is one of those rare places that gets everything right from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is effortlessly elegant, with a vibrant yet refined energy that makes it perfect for a special evening. The food is outstanding—beautifully presented, full of depth and creativity, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Every dish we tried felt thoughtfully executed rather than just “designed for show.” Service is equally impressive: attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming, which elevates the whole experience. What really stands out is the balance GAIA Marbella strikes between fine dining and a lively, cosmopolitan vibe. It’s ideal for a romantic dinner, a celebration, or simply a memorable night out in Marbella. Highly recommended—this is a place you’ll want to return to.

We had the most wonderful evening at GAIA restaurant in Marbella. Came here with the girls and absolutely fell in love. The service was outstanding: attentive, warm and genuinely caring, making us feel so welcome from the very first minute. The atmosphere was magical cozy, elegant and full of charm. This place is a true gem and an experience we’ll definitely repeat. Thank you for such a perfect evening🥰🍾🥂

Our evening was absolutely marvellous! We were welcomed by the manager, Julie, who was incredibly friendly and kind. The food she recommended was a true work of gastronomic art. A delicious tartare with caviar, seafood pasta with chicken, and a dessert that delighted all our senses. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming an open kitchen, an impressive selection of fish, and, as a music lover, I must highlight the high-quality music, which created the perfect vibe for our dinner. Our waiter, Tommy, seemed to read our minds and was exceptionally friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend visiting this wonderful place. You can stroll through the Puente Romano garden, which is beautifully decorated during the Christmas time, or continue your evening at Club NyX, which is attached to Gaia. Truly an evening to remember and a must-see in Marbella!

We had such an amazing experience here at Gaia! The staff were absolutely brilliant—friendly, attentive, and always making sure we had everything we needed. The food was outstanding. My personal favourite was the lobster pasta, cooked perfectly and full of flavour. And if you visit, you simply can’t leave without trying their signature frozen yoghurt with honey and pecans—it’s a must! The décor inside is beautiful, creating a stylish yet welcoming atmosphere, and the overall vibe makes it a great place to enjoy a relaxed but special meal. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a lovely dining experience 🙂

GAIA delivers a refined and elegant dining experience with a strong focus on product quality—especially seafood. Ambience: 5/5 Very stylish, upscale, and beautifully curated. The interior design feels luxurious without being excessive. The overall atmosphere is sophisticated and perfect for a high-end dinner in Marbella. Food & Quality: 5/5 Quality is genuinely very, very high—particularly the fish and seafood. Freshness is evident, preparation is precise, and the ingredients speak for themselves. The dishes are balanced and executed at a serious level. From a product standpoint, this is top-tier. Service: 3–4/5 Service was professional and polite, but for my personal preference, somewhat slow. Courses took longer than expected. That said, I am aware that in Marbella, especially in venues of this category, a slower pace is part of the experience. It is clearly a matter of taste. I personally prefer slightly quicker service. Final Verdict Excellent ambience, very strong culinary quality—especially seafood—and an overall premium experience. If you appreciate elegant surroundings and high-level Mediterranean cuisine, GAIA is absolutely recommendable.

Frequently asked questions about mediterranean restaurants in Marbella

    What is a Mediterranean restaurant?

A Mediterranean restaurant is an establishment that serves traditional dishes from countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea, such as Spain, Italy, Greece, and Morocco. These menus typically focus on fresh ingredients like olive oil, seafood, legumes, and seasonal vegetables. You can expect a variety of flavors ranging from grilled meats and roasted vegetables to hearty grain-based salads.

    Is the Mediterranean diet expensive?

The Mediterranean diet is generally considered an affordable and accessible way of eating because it relies on simple, whole foods. While high-quality seafood or premium olive oils can increase costs, the core of the diet consists of inexpensive staples like beans, grains, and local produce. In a restaurant setting, prices vary depending on the level of service and the specific ingredients used in the meal.

What are the benefits of Mediterranean food?

Mediterranean food is widely recognized for its health benefits, particularly its role in promoting heart health and longevity. The diet is rich in antioxidants, healthy fats, and fiber, which help reduce inflammation and support overall well-being. Choosing these types of dishes at a restaurant is often a popular way to enjoy a nutritious and balanced meal.

How do I find healthy food at a Mediterranean restaurant?

You can find healthy options by looking for dishes that emphasize grilled proteins, fresh salads, and roasted vegetables. Many menus offer "Mediterranean diet" friendly choices that prioritize olive oil over butter and lean proteins over fried meats. To ensure a balanced meal, look for plates that include a variety of colors and whole food ingredients.
