LEÑA offers a sophisticated setting within the Marbella resort, featuring a pleasant terrace and a professional atmosphere. While the staff maintains a polite demeanor, the dining experience can feel inconsistent regarding culinary execution and portion proportions.

The establishment faces challenges with service consistency and high price points relative to the food quality. Guests may find the menu items occasionally lack depth, making it a venue where the ambiance serves as the primary draw.

A disappointing diner experience. Overall the service was good; we had two waiters and they were polite and professional. The food is not bad, but it is not great either, and it is very overpriced for what you get. We ordered a few starters to share and the cordon bleu. The starters were nice, presentation well-thought-out, however the flavours were rather underwhelming. But the biggest let-down was the cordon bleu. The meat was raw inside, and the so-called brie cheese looked more like a cream cheese “coulant” with mild brie flavouring. I couldn’t finish it as it was quite sickening. Also, priced at around €80 for two (€40 a plate), it is served with a single tiny spoonful of purée. A rather comical sight of a dish that almost hurt my eyes! For dessert we shared the large peanut and lime cookie. It was very cold straight from the fridge, which completely masked the textures and the peanut flavour. I took it home and had it for breakfast the next day; at room temperature, it tasted significantly better. For a 28€ dessert, you expect a lot more care in how it’s served. The bill came out to around €280 for two, with a cocktail and a glass of wine each. But a beautiful atmosphere cannot make up for average, poorly executed food. Definitely not worth the price.

Probably so far our worst dinner of our trip, which is disappointing as we’ve dined in Lena Dubai and had a great evening. We sat on the terrace which was lovely and we much preferred it to the restaurant. Went to order and the waiter pushed to upsell twice. I understand it’s part of the role but there is a way to do so and when we say no.. we mean no. We ordered the steak tartare which says on the menu made at the table.. it wasn’t. We also ordered chicken empanadas which were nice. Main we ordered the Angus rib eye (medium), with mash potato and green beans. The beans were quite dry but the steak and mash were so greasy. No one came over to see if everything was okay. We didn’t eat probably half of the steak. We were done then asked for the bill. Waiter asked if everything was good and we were very honest, then shocked by his attitude saying it was the steak and if we said something if would have done something about it. Not a way to speak to a customer especially one who wasn’t overly happy. Anyway he never returned.. someone else came with the bill which we felt like he was avoiding us. Not great. €300 for dinner for 1 mocktail, 1 cocktail, 1 glass of red, 2 small bottles of water, 2 starters, 1 main and 2 starters. Very expensive for what it was, despite it being Marbella and in such a nice resort. Especially given the service was 👎🏽

We had Pedro as a server and we sat on the terrace overlooking the plaza. He was OUTSTANDING! I have a severe peanut and all nut allergy and he took such great care of me. When I eat at restaurants, especially overseas, someone understanding how severe my allergy is is a serious concern. He was incredible and I highly recommend him and this fantastic establishment. Worth every penny! Definitely sit overlooking the place.

I had a truly disappointing experience at Lena in Marbella. The food was absolutely not what I expected. The burrata salad, which should come with tomatoes, was served with roasted peppers and onions — a bizarre and unpleasant combination that completely ruined the dish. As for the ribeye, it was honestly one of the worst pieces of meat I’ve ever had: tough, flavorless, and downright unpleasant to eat. To make things even worse, the dessert was just as bad — a rose dessert that tasted like stale sliced bread with vanilla ice cream. Completely uninspired and frankly unpleasant. Overall, the salad, steak, and even the dessert were so bad that I left wondering how such a place could have any reputation at all. Definitely not worth the visit.

We came for dinner at LENA and chose the terrace area, which is priced about 15% higher than the regular seating. We were the first guests to arrive, yet we were seated at a table that was noticeably uneven and tilted. We asked the waiter if we could move to a nearby table, but were told they were all reserved. There were around eight empty tables at the time. We arrived at 7:00 PM, and the first guests for those “reserved” tables only started arriving closer to 8:00 PM—and in fact, only one of those tables seemed genuinely reserved. The rest of the guests who were seated there appeared to be walk-ins, which made the situation very obvious and confusing. It’s unclear why we were not allowed to move. We ordered two steaks with the same level of doneness. Instead, we were served one medium and one well-done. On top of that, the meat had an unpleasant smell and a bitter taste. We informed the staff that we didn’t like the steaks and were willing to pay, but asked for them to be replaced with a ribeye for sharing, cooked medium-well. What we received next was rare. When we pointed out again that the doneness was incorrect, the steak was taken away. After some time, they brought back what was clearly the same steak, just further cooked in the oven. It was obvious because the juices had already leaked onto the plate and baked onto it, and the texture of the meat hadn’t changed—just overheated. We showed this to the waiter, who insisted it was a completely new steak. Later, another staff member came and admitted that they had simply re-cooked the original one. Another sign of unprofessional service: we were served two hot appetizers first, and only after that a cold one. This is not the correct sequence, especially for a restaurant that positions itself as high-end and charges premium prices. This is definitely the worst “steakhouse” I’ve ever been to. The quality of service is terrible. If you hate your job this much, I would strongly recommend finding a place where you can actually be happier. They also served us a pate appetizer shaped like an apple with bread — and the bread was literally soaked in oil.

Trocadero Arena exceeded all of our expectations. The restaurant has a stunning African-inspired design, with incredible attention to detail throughout. Every part of the venue is beautifully maintained, creating a unique atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re somewhere truly special. The décor alone is worth the visit. The food was equally impressive. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. You can tell that great care has gone into both the quality of the ingredients and the presentation. The service was friendly, attentive, and professional, making the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. If you’re visiting the Costa del Sol, Trocadero Arena is a must-visit. It perfectly combines outstanding food, exceptional surroundings, and first-class service. We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Very nice beach restaurant with beautiful outside Terrasse. Sitting on the beach underneath palm trees. The inside is super well decorated with lots of wood and style. Feels like a luxury lodge in Africa. Service is very attentive and friendly. Menu is diverse with lots of choice ranging from Spanish specialties to Sushi or fusion food.

We have visited Trocadéro Arena more than 20 times over the years and have always had positive experiences with both the service and the overall atmosphere. That is why it was especially disappointing to see such a significant decline during our most recent visit. Unfortunately, the service was completely unacceptable. The staff seemed uninterested, and there was very little sense of hospitality or customer care. As guests, we did not feel welcome or valued, and the overall experience was in stark contrast to the many positive visits we have had in the past. It is disappointing when a place that we have previously recommended to others delivers such a poor guest experience. We sincerely hope that the management takes this feedback seriously and restores the high standard of service that the venue was once known for.

Such a lovely place, delicious food, super friendly staff, and a warm atmosphere! The tapas were excellent as always, tasty and served with a smile. Sitting on the terrace by the water makes it all the more special. One small thing I noticed: the beef tenderloin tapas, which used to be my favorite, are no longer on the menu. Maybe just temporarily unavailable? I really missed them and hope they’ll make a comeback soon!

The grilled sea bream was incredibly delicious—crispy on the outside and perfectly juicy on the inside. The potato-based appetizer was also outstanding. However, the prices were a bit on the high side. Unfortunately, our waiter missed part of our order, and when we pointed it out, the response was rather unpleasant. Stunning beach restaurant with fab views and great setting where you can look out over the sea. Menu is varied so you will find something to eat. Food seems good although portions are not the most generous. There is no kids menu but there is enough to choose from. Two disappointing things, we had six kids on a separate table, when they got up, the table was quickly cleared and other people reseated meaning the kids just stuck by us all night… Def worth a try though…

Celebrated my birthday with dinner recently at Ta Kumi in Marbella – it was an amazing sushi experience! My husband and I both enjoyed the 8 course tasting menu which was a journey through the sea. Some highlights included the oyster starter, the truffled tuna tartare and the sweet shrimps, prepared two ways. But honestly, every single course we had was fresh and a pleasant surprise. The restaurant’s sommelier recommended a nice bottle of sake that paired really well with our meal, which rounded out the meal. I highly recommend Ta Kumi, especially when you’re looking for an experience, and not just a nice sushi dinner.

Takumi in Marbella had been our go to for years. My photos don’t do it justice because we always eat before we remember to take a proper photo. The entire staff and the owner are amazing- so wonderful, helpful and cool. And the toro truffle quail egg special is insanely delicious- literally to die for. I took a photo but it seriously does not do it justice. Let your stomach decide for itself. Our go to list is the above mentioned special, the otoro nigiri with caviar, the butter fish nigiri with truffle cream and they have the BEST wakimi salad. And if you love Nobu’s spicy shrimp salad- Takumi does it even better. Honestly, if you love Japanese sushi done right, you cannot go wrong here. Cannot wait to visit them again when we’re in Marbella! 🤗❤️

We were recommended this sushi restaurant by multiple people and it absolutely lived up to its expectations. Jorge was a dedicated server who not only made our experience unforgettable but knew exactly what kind of sushi to recommend to us. It is absolutely worth the money, for three of us we spent €190 and we left completely stuffed and happy. What a place! This is one of the best restaurants in Marbella. And not taking into account just Japanese ones. The food is so delicious that you can’t stop ordering. Sushi, sashimi, wagyu. You name it. One better than the other. See the picture and try to imagine everything else was as good looking and tasty. Best quality food, best quality service. We were the group of six perfectly served by Alvaro himself. Being not only the owner but also the chef he is a perfect storyteller giving all the information on what is served and how it is prepared. He made also recommendations that we followed and felt like lottery winners each time another piece of food landed on our table. A sense of humor, passion and love to what he is doing need to be well appreciated. Good wine choice. We topped our meal with fantastic deserts not mentioning mind blowing Vega Sicilia Unico. One of the best culinary experiences ever!

Every time I visit Marbella, I love spending my beach days at Andy’s Beach. I find it to be a very relaxing place. Even though it’s usually quite busy, the atmosphere always feels calm. The service is good, and they always play English music, which, in my opinion, creates a much more chilled-out vibe. The prices are very reasonable, so I ended up spending many afternoons here during my trip to Marbella. I definitely recommend it.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was outstanding, beautifully presented, and incredibly delicious — especially the fish soup, which was absolutely amazing. The service was just as impressive — attentive, friendly, and professional. A special thank you to the manager, Samuel, who took exceptional care of us. When we mentioned that it was a bit cold, he immediately turned on the heating nearby, which made us feel truly welcomed and cared for. Everything about our visit was perfect — from the atmosphere to the smallest details. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be coming back!

Pushy counterfeit salesmen all over the beach running by every minute more effectively unlike the train system Germany has, kitchen forgot to start cooking our order so we waited 1h for nothing, beach is cool if you don’t catch seaweed which was 3 out of the 4 days we were here. Parking is full unless you arrive early morning. Better go to the natural part of the beach line, but beware it’s also a nudist zone. Edit: Finally got the food. It looks like it was cooked yesterday and the panco on the calamari is non existent plus everything is soggy. Not to mention that there was a dead insect somehow in the cutlery package they gave us. Absolutely appalling.

We had lunch with our feet in the sand in the middle of December — an incredible experience! The atmosphere was very pleasant, although the music was a bit loud for conversation. The paella was excellent, and the swordfish, while slightly fatty, was still tasty. The waiter was very kind and efficient. We had a great lunch 😊.

We have been spending our summers at Andy’s Beach Club for several years now, and we have always really enjoyed our time there. This year, however, we noticed a difference between the two sides of the beach. On the right side, there are lovely new wooden sunbeds with nice umbrellas, while on the left side, the sunbeds are still the older plastic ones and unfortunately look quite dirty and worn, as do the small plastic tables. As both areas have the same price of €12, perhaps it would be worth considering giving the older sunbeds and tables a thorough cleaning with a Kärcher or replacing them over time. We also noticed that the sand could use a little more attention, as there were some small pieces of rubbish and cigarette butts. We are sharing this simply as a friendly suggestion, because we really like coming to Andy’s Beach Club and would love to continue enjoying it in the future. With a little more attention to these details, we think the experience could be even better for everyone.

5 day break. Turned uo with Paddy, Sandra and Dooley. Normally a restaurant with amazing Sea Bass but the HAUSIN’ COLLECTIVE were hosting a beach party. Amazing vibes ,music and atmosphere. You can see the Moroccan coastline and Gibraltar from here.

The location is genuinely stunning, gorgeous beachside setting with breathtaking views along the coast. On that front, Victor’s Beach delivers. Sadly, the service on a Thursday lunchtime (not even particularly busy) was a real disappointment. Waiting a long time for my order to be taken was frustrating enough, but the real issue came when my main arrived ( pictured) without my sides, and my starter was nowhere to be seen. When I asked about it, the waitress seemed genuinely surprised and then informed me that I hadn’t specified the order in which I wanted my courses served, and that everything was meant to arrive together. It hadn’t, and the wait had been considerable. There was no apology, just a slightly dismissive attitude that left a bad taste. You could be generous and call it the relaxed Spanish pace, but this felt less like tranquilo and more like undertrained, indifferent staff who let what could be a fantastic restaurant down badly. This place has clearly been great before, and the bones are all there. It’s a shame the service doesn’t match the setting.

This place used to feel more charming. The beachfront location is great, but beyond that, the experience was fairly average. The food was okay, the service was average, and when it gets busy, the staff often struggles to keep up.

We decided to have an early dinner, before the sunset Vibes. BIG MISTAKE! The food was really poor and so expensive. I ordered a starter calamari, €28. It was chewy, poor quality. I asked for a side salad, i was served unripe tomatoes, 4 bits of soggy lettuce and a couple on onions, then charged €19 for it. With my one beer I paid €55. For really bad food. The cook needs to go! I questioned €19 for my “side salad”. They refused to reduce the price. I felt completely ripped off. I will NEVER eat at Victors again. Luis the DJ is great through. The restsurant and their staff, forget it.

Been coming here for over 30 years. It went from being really good, then after being sold really poor, last year wasn’t good. But now back to being good. Best views, service generally good, prices high but quality of food was high.

It was windy and cold but the Atmosphere is supposed to be amazing when it is warm. Food was very good, especially the shrimp carpaccio and Pil Pil Bao is a nice twist on Pil Pil. Croquettas were a bit potatoe-y and so was the Russian salad. But very good overall.

I walked in on Saturday afternoon without a reservation and was warmly welcomed. There was no table available, except a low table in the sand in the first row, but we were seated great. We ordered the black paella and it was fantastic! It got very busy especially with locals and a super nice atmosphere! The service is very nice, especially Sandra. Top and affordable food! Very happy that we discovered this restaurant and we will definitely come back! 🙂

Surroundings and food were excellent – sadly service was not. Felt like because we were not Spanish we were an inconvenience to staff (we were walk ins on a Friday lunchtime) and there was no friendliness whatsoever, we were told we had to be out in an hour and a half (no problem) yet it took an age to get served. We ordered coffees at the end of the meal that never arrived. Won’t be coming back due poor service, better more friendly options available in the locality….

This is solid 4-star for meals and 5-star for service and location considering price and quality. I have been here twice and tried grilled fish both times (highly recommend). Ceviche was very good and I would skip the poke bowl (average). Paella with seafood was solidly good and a bonus – kids menu with excellent 🍝.

We called to check for availability before arriving, ( 5 minutes before we got there ) the waitress on the phone told us that we were welcome to come in. Once we had arrived another waiter was completely off with us, the waiter was extremely uptight and asked if we had booked as there were no available tables, although only 10% of the restaurant was full. He was quite ready to turn us away until the original waitress came along and confirmed that we had spoke. After making it clear that I had only just spoke to her on the phone they finally seated us. The service was poor, the waiters looked like they did not want to be there and was very standoffish. The food was very average, and ambience was ruined by the poor energy from the staff. If you are looking for a good service and quality food then look elsewhere.

Rude! The front of house staff and most of the waiters were rude and out right lied to me when I questioned them. We had booked a week in advance to ensure we got a beach front table, upon arrival they said we couldn’t have it as the table who booked it called 2 days ago (??). Later on I went back to the desk to get clarity on it, it turns out that table had cancelled earlier so we should have had it anyway. Then the staff started lying to me that there were people sat there when we arrived (there weren’t). The other beach front table available (I suspect was meant to me ours), he lied again and said it was a table for 4 people but I could see it was a table of 6 (we were a table of 6 too) – so much I can’t even fit into a review! They were rude (apart from one nice waiter) and we would never go back nor recommend at all!
