Puerto Banus is such a great place. The boats are pretty awesome and the free car show when people who are cool drive around in very nice super cars. And also those who try to be cool do the same. Great shops if you are minted and great bars and restaurants which are reasonably priced. Great during the day and better later in the day. People watching is fun too.

Loved the experience here! Lots of super cars to see and many boats too. High end stores like Hermes, LV and Ferragamo exist here too. Not far off, you’d see dealerships for super cars like Koenigsegg and Lamborghini.

What a show of wealth. Too many people starving and homeless in the world and here shows that we have lost sight of supporting eachother. The boats were amazing and the view from the point was great. It was just a bit much for me. Checked out the restaurants along the strip and they looked great. Reasonable prices for well presented spots.

Best capitán (Almu) & Crew (Max) Amazing time with their vibes and expertise. They took care of us and were aware for our safety at all times. We saw Dolphins and partied all the way with a relaxing way back. I would 100% recommend this experience.

The boat cruise in Marbella was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was relaxing, the crew was friendly and welcoming, and the included drinks made the trip even more enjoyable. It was a great way to spend a few hours on the water, enjoying the beautiful coastline and the sunshine. Everything was well organized, and we had a fantastic time. The hotel’s new décor beautifully reflected an elegant Spanish style, creating a warm and charming atmosphere. The breakfast was also excellent, with a great variety of fresh and delicious options. A special shout-out to Antonio, who drove the beach shuttle. His kindness and professionalism made every trip to and from the beach enjoyable. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would happily stay here again. We highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel with a great sense of design and attention to detail. The rooms are stylish, comfortable and very well designed, and the service throughout the hotel is excellent. La Cabane is definitely one of the highlights — a beautiful setting and a great atmosphere. The only downsides are the lack of a separate children’s pool and the rather limited food selection on the pool menu. A little more variety would make the experience even better. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and a hotel I would happily return to.

We had the lovely opportunity of spending a few days at this fab hotel. The staff couldn’t do enough, and were always pleasant and genuine. The rooftop bar for drink on a Friday is a must – the dj, staff and music is fantastic.. so much so that we missed our dinner reservation just to stay and enjoy the environment!! The breakfast is great both for food and timings. The pool is perfect, but can be busy so get their early but you cant save spaces so be warned. I will be definitely going back!!

Our stay at Kimpton Los Monteros Marbella as a family of five exceeded our expectations in every possible way. The rooms were incredibly spacious and thoughtfully equipped—this was actually the first hotel I’ve ever stayed in that even provided a clothes steamer, which was such a nice touch. The beds were large and very comfortable, and the toiletries were excellent. One detail that really stood out was the atmosphere throughout the hotel—it had a fresh, natural scent that felt clean and calming, without being artificial. The pool was also noticeably bigger than it appears in the photos, which was a pleasant surprise. What truly made the experience special, though, was the staff. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable without ever feeling forced or overly polished. It felt much more like the kind of sincere welcome you get in a family-run boutique hotel—something that’s quite rare in larger, more “Instagram-style” resorts. The concierge experience was exceptional. It honestly felt like we had someone dedicated just to our family, handling every request in real time with ease and care. And I have to highlight the kids’ club—it went far beyond our expectations. The hotel strikes a perfect balance: it’s very child-friendly without compromising the experience for adults. We truly can’t wait to come back.

I had such a lovely experience at Kimpton Los Monteros Marbella by IHG with some friends. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with elegant design, amazing atmosphere, and incredible attention to detail. Everything felt relaxing and luxurious from the moment we arrived. I also visited the Maison Codage spa for a treatment and was truly impressed. The experience was exceptional — the treatment was deeply relaxing and the CODAGE products felt amazing on the skin. I completely fell in love with the brand and the whole spa experience. A perfect place to unwind and enjoy Marbella. Highly recommended!

I’ve been coming to this hotel for several years and stayed there about a month ago. As usual, I found the team fantastic. Everyone is top-notch in serving the guests, from housekeeping to reception and the restaurant. Love this hotel, been going for 20 years. The staff are fantastic and we got a great upgrade, couldn’t ask for more, however the hotel is really in need of some investment and desperately needs to sort out the bottom floor. That said I’ll be back next year. Thanks guys!

The staff was very nice and polite. I arrived early morning and there was a room ready for checking in earlier, so I was very happy. There is a delicious breakfast and a good restaurant there.

As much as it pains me I CAN’T recommend the hotel.||The staff were amazing and without them this place would shut. The hotel is NOT a 5 star and is an average 4 star. There are no facilities. Everything is cordorned ouff and common areas are very very shabby. The basement areas have not been touched in about 10 years and have tape blocking them. The rooms need a massive updgrade as does the hotel hotel. Bfast tables were in the lobby of the hotel..genuinely. |The location is great and if it got a proper invesmtent it could be very very good. ||Staff second to none and couldnt fault them but it needs a massive investment.

Questionable 5 star, switches in the rooms didnt work and feel like they are coming off the wall. One night we couldn’t turn off a light. The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor and hairdryer only worked on the lowest setting. We were told there was only one restaurant for breakfast this could not cope with the volume of guests. Staff were friendly and helpful but still not 5 star by a long shot. We also came as an easyjet package that would not drop off or pick up outside the hotel but didn’t feel the need to let us know this. Check with your operator before booking.

My wife and I stayed at Gran Hotel Guadalpin Banús to celebrate our wedding anniversary and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish.||Despite requesting a double bed when booking, we were allocated a room with two single beds. Not ideal when celebrating a special occasion.||The room then suffered repeated air-conditioning failures, leaving it hot, humid and uncomfortable. I reported the issue to reception and maintenance attended, however after a power outage the problem returned and required further intervention.||There were also concerns regarding the condition of the room. The balcony door latch was broken, meaning the door could not be properly secured. More concerningly, the furniture provided was in poor condition. A lounger on the balcony was defective and collapsed when used, resulting in an injury to my arm. The lounger support structure was completely missing offering no support, as you can imagine sitting from a standing position with no support can easily result in injury, which the hotel assistant manager could not understand in his initial response. ||I have uploaded photographs of the issues.||Following our return home, I raised these matters with the hotel and supplied photographic evidence. Whilst the hotel eventually acknowledged the issues and offered compensation, the only cash refund they were prepared to offer was €160 despite the number of defects encountered during our stay. A larger amount was only offered in the form of a future-stay voucher, which was of no value to us given that we have no intention of returning.||I appreciate that problems can occur in any hotel. What matters is how they are dealt with. Unfortunately, for a property marketed as a 5-star hotel and charging premium rates, the standard of accommodation, maintenance and customer service fell well below expectations.||Based on our experience, I would not return and would struggle to recommend this hotel to others looking for a special occasion stay in Puerto Banús.

Definitely the best place to choose on the Costa del Sol if you want to play golf in unique surroundings. Santa Clara Golf has a formidable service, both when it comes to golf and dining. You always feel more than just a guest when you are there, and their food always surprises positively. Service, quality, experience and location are worth a huge experience.

Fun and challenging course. Nice service. Good restaurant. Will recommend and will play it again.

Why a 5* rating? 1) course design: holes play to variety of challenges and levels of handicaps. It is a walkable course! Buggies are optional. 2) General state of course & installations: in good state; all well kept. On course staff friendly; effective pace of play managers! 3) Pro shop: Has all the essentials; has wide and varying apparel selection both (m/f). 4) 19hole: Friendly staff. The clubhouse is clean and well kept; the restaurant pleasant and varied menu selection. N.B. Buggy fleet shows age; is operating on combustion fuel, hardly enhancing the image of otherwise excellent venue.

Thoroughly enjoyed our round at Santa Clara! Thomas the starter was a good laugh getting us underway and the course was in great condition. Little rough around the edges on a few holes but did not spoil the enjoyment. The bar and restaurant are in a great spot looking out over the course. Stayed to have a few beers and the food was outstanding.

Spain golf vacation 5/5. Coming to Costa del Sol to play some good courses. Last round on our trip, before we fly away. I try to be short this time. As always very fast and pleasant checking and booking, Spain standard. If I say that training areas are close, I will repeat myself :D. Highlight here is the starter, very funny guy, like his jokes he does his job well. Did not have high expectations because had references from friend who played there is past. This course is not our cup of tee, layout is nothing special, few interesting holes there like (8, 12, 17) Quality was so so, greens OK, however for the price they charge they need to do better, I would rather go to Marbella GCC. For me this layout is not very interesting. We did not even eat there because rates there are for same quality 20% higher than anywhere else.

We had an amazing trip with Luca, he is so kind and friendly. He knows the area very well and where is best to swim, see dolphins and go paddle boarding. This trip was absolutely amazing! The captain, Alessandro was a great host. Explaining about the ins and outs of how to spot Dolphins was really interesting. He did everything withing his power to let us enjoy the dolphin spectacle. My family and I will never forget this experience 🤩

Very easy to communicate with on whatsapp, Captain listen to everything we wanted to do and made sure it was done well within the time we were allotted. Even with our short notice, we were still able to get out with a similar boat to what we wanted would definitely book in advance to get actually what you want, fraction of price what hotels will charge you

What an experience! We absolutely loved it. We booked this experience for a hen party and it did not disappoint. The boat was so beautiful, drinks kept flowing and we could connect our phones to the sound system on the boat. Both crew members were so lovely too which really made it for us. We had an absolutely amazing time on our family fishing trip from start to finish! The boat itself was beautiful and well-kept, and we were warmly greeted with refreshments—beer and Prosecco for the adults, plus soft drinks and snacks for the kids, which was such a thoughtful touch. I was a bit worried about visiting after reading all of the reviews, however my experience was perfect! A lovely room, nice balcony, great food, lovely staff, great pool area and super close to the beach. Perfect for a fussy eater! There was housekeeping everyday, they were very friendly, made the bed and hung up the towels. Plenty of sunbeds. I would definitely recommend! Only downside was they didn’t have sausage and hashbrowns every day, only twice across the week.

BlueBay Banús is marketed as a 4-star hotel, but we’d rate it closer to a 3-star. The rooms were clean but very dated and in need of refurbishment. Don’t be fooled by the photos online—they don’t reflect the current condition of the hotel. The pool area could also be much better, with algae between the tiles, broken and dirty sunbeds, and unclean tables. Breakfast was disappointing and below what we’d expect from a 4-star hotel. Our biggest issue was customer service. We were told we could use the shower room after checkout and understood we could reserve a time, only to be told otherwise. Rather than resolving the misunderstanding, the receptionist manager, Jose, argued with us in front of other guests, which was unnecessary and unprofessional. The hotel is competitively priced, so expectations should be realistic, but basic maintenance and customer service should still be of a higher standard. The location is excellent, but we wouldn’t return.

Food really good, nice selection. Animation team amazing, played some really good water polo and volleyball. And some easy games u didn’t even need to get off ur deck chair play for a chance to win a free drink 🍺😋. Definitely would go again.

I had the best holiday with my partner at the Blue Bay Banus staff were friendly and attentive and our room was fab! The room was absolutely fine! We had a superior room. The bathrooms are outdated however the decor etc of the hotel and the room is of true Andalucían style. We just did bed and breakfast as we went out for dinner however breakfast was also perfect with such a large variety. The hotel is 5 mins walk from the beach which honestly doesn’t feel very long when you walk it and around a 20 minute walk from the marina which again doesn’t feel long at all when you do it. This is such a good spot. For someone who spent a lot of time of this part of Spain growing up I felt right at home.

Had a great stay here with friends in May 2026. Spacious rooms. Comfortable beds. Fantastic staff. Breakfast is great with plenty on offer, maids great and a nice 5 mins stroll to the beach. Food and drink very reasonably priced. 15 mins walk down the front to Puerto Banus or around €10 euros in a taxi. I’d 100% stay here again.

Recently stayed and had a great time, the staff were very friendly and it was next door to a lidl which for us was fantastic. The only negatives were the rooms were a little tired, the fridge was stocked as a mini bar making it difficult to fit your own stuff in, and the pool didn’t open till 11am (which i understand is out of their control). Would definitely return again though and recommend.

Little bit disappointed that it’s not clearly advertised that the pool is only open on weekends (booked on booking.com) So if you are booked from Monday to Friday you will have no access to the pool other than that, the apartment is good and does the job and is reasonably located so it’s not too far to walk to old town Marbella. I guess they compensate with giving you towels to go down to the beach with, which is a positive as it’s a very short walk. I think it’s important they should not advertise as a hotel, so people understand better what they are in for when they arrive. Again due to it not being a hotel they take a hefty €200 deposit on arrival which I can only imagine will take time to be refunded to you when you leave.

The front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to deal with. Although we were required to pay a €200 deposit, it was refunded within an hour of checking out. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very well maintained.

Rooms were very good but a little dated. The fridge temperature gauge was broken so all the contents froze and we unusable. The pool was not available to use on the Monday so this was very disappointing. There was no bar available which was also disappointing.

The hotel itself is in a great location, a 3 minute walk from the beach and a 10 minute drive from porta banus. The hotel staff are very helpful and polite. The rooms are very clean and the showers have great water pressure, they also have very spacious balconies. You can rent bikes and electric scooters at reception.

The location of the hotel is good also you can get a public transport from 3 minutes walking distance. We booked that hotel through Booking.com believe that it was 4 stars hotel however it was far from that, first of all if you are a lady and use a separate towel for your hair forget that once you’re staying there, the staff left only one towel for each guest and if you ask extra towel they charge for that, also they don’t change the towel every day, unless you pay extra for that. This hotel has a work system like hostel or cheap hotel near to the highway, they ask deposit and once you are living they left you waiting in the reception for a while until the staff verify the hotel room also if you use the kitchen be careful for don’t use the salt or other basic staff, they overcharge everything. If you are morning person, like to wake up and swim in the pool forget that, you are only allowed to use the pool after 11 am also if you are thirsty at the pool you pay 3 euros for a little bottle of water, basically everything in this hotel has a extra charge. I would say that the price of this hotel remains 4 stars but the staying is an experience in a 1 star hotel.
