Years ago it had far better quality shops. But guess the extortionate gets forced the smaller shops out. I have eaten at KFC francise outlets for years. The outdoor terrace is dutifully cool with views over the Mediterranean. But i was surprised when charged 10c for small ketchup sachet. Earlier in the week were not charged in Fuengirola. But the owners try to extract as much as possible. Kfc staff are all most helpfull

Plenty of parking (overground is free and underground is charged). A spacious mall with a good variety of mid to high end(ish) shops, particularly for clothing (men and women). Good accessibility to all floors and good wash room facilities. A generous and varied selection of eating places but remember you’ll still be in a shopping mall! Beware of pick pockets but don’t let that put you off, just be aware.

La Cañada in Marbella is an absolutely fantastic shopping center! From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted by ample, free parking, surrounded by beautiful palm trees, setting a wonderfully relaxed tone. Once inside, you’ll discover a truly impressive array of shops – literally everything you could possibly need, from fashion and electronics to homeware and groceries. It’s a very nice mall with a great atmosphere, making it a perfect spot to spend a few hours Browse or ticking off your shopping list. Highly recommend!

A nice experience This is a shopping centre for everybody, doesn’t matter you have or not money, cash or on the credit card. The prices are affordable for everybody. There are a lot of shops, of all known brands and also of their national brands. And there are 2 food courts and also you can eat as you walk all over the mall because there are a lot of places you can buy food. So, don’t worry about the food: there is plenty of it. Also there are a few coffee shops. I strongly recommend “Cafe Luz de Luna”, a coffee shop where they have, in my opinion, the best ice cream in the city, and the largest portions. Try coffee espresso: it is the “genuinest” coffe I’ve drank in the city. The toilets are very clean and there are a lot of them, no bad small and no dirty on the floor, as you can find in some places. What seems very unusual for a mall, shopping centre, was the natural light. There are a lot of windows, on the upper side of the isles between shops, through where the sun light invade the mall, creating a sensation of relaxation. And there is a lot of artificial light, on the other places, where there are no windows. There are a lot of plants, real not from plastic as you see in such pIaces. I loved that. As I said there are a lot of restaurants, local and international and the Mc… and KF… are there, absolutely. And there is also a huge supermarket – Alcampo. I definitely recommend this mall for shopping or just if you have some time to loose.

Rude and disgusting valet staff. After I paid and said thank you, the man standing next to the ticket and payment machine didn’t say a word he looked at me and spat next to my car. People should have better manners and show respect to others. This happened on 29 April 2026 at 17:14.

I leave work at 2 in the morning and stop to buy bread (I love the bread you have) and to get diesel when I need it, but it always happens that when one of your workers is there, they never have bread or even start making any. I have to say that it is always, always out, but they are making it and they have it in 2 minutes. I suppose he has the obligation to have it just like the other workers 🤷. It even makes me angry to get out of the car when he is there because it’s a waste of time. Best regards. Upon arriving at the Laundry, there are two washing machines with the doors open and clothes inside, and the other two are running. A girl starts the other two. So far, so good. One of the 8kg washing machines finishes the wash, and a man removes his clothes. To my surprise, in a moment of carelessness, the same girl, in front of everyone and while I was waiting, puts her clothes into the third washing machine. With 3 out of the 4 washing machines being used, I tell the girl that it is not like that, that she cannot use 3 washing machines while another person is waiting. The girl is of another nationality that I don’t need to mention… Well, there was staff waiting, including myself. I inform the worker of what happened. She tells me to wait for a response from the manager. The logical thing is to speak to the girl and inform her that if there are more people waiting, that cannot be done.

They don’t deserve 5 stars, they deserve double. The kindness and help that the two gas station attendants offered me with a small issue I had with my car was incredible. I was traveling in Marbella and at another low-cost gas station, they charged me but didn’t put any gas in; both attendants helped me and informed me about everything. Also, when checking the tire pressure to start my trip back home, one of them checked and filled them for me. I live in Alicante and I am not used to people being so kind or helping at gas stations. I don’t know the names of the guys who were working on October 15th at the Marbella gas station, but I have a great memory of them. I wish there were more people like that and that your great work is recognized. Translated commentShow original

The worst wash I have tried. They say each euro lasts 2 minutes and 10 seconds, lie. The gun has no trigger, once the water starts coming out it cannot be stopped, so you have to manage as best as you can. The pressure is almost non-existent, the car came out just as dirty as it went in. The soap is barely noticeable. A waste of money, plain and simple. I do not recommend it at all. Translated commentShow original

Prices are amazing but you need to have company to buy. If not they will not sell to you. They have a great selection. They are wholesalers so you need to buy in big quantities. Now the bad part. Most of the warehouse there is no air conditioning it’s really really hot in there right now. There is no queuing sence so everybody queues in line in anyway. Again you can wait in line over an hour. With no Air Conditioning. By the time I paid and got out I needed to replenish at least 1L of fluids. I was sweating so so much. I also needed a towel and a new set of clothing.

Well, very dissatisfied with this wonderful establishment. Last Wednesday, some friends and I went with 1,200 euros in our pockets in donations we had collected for those affected by the DANA in Valencia, with the aim of spending as much money as possible at that establishment on cleaning products, etc., etc. And what was our surprise? Upon arriving, we asked for the manager and a man at the register told us that there was no one… What did we want? And we told him if COMERCO offered any percentage of discount for DANA material. Whatever that percentage might be. And he answers us NO. (At least he could have consulted his superiors, but he just said NO.) Well, very good. Thanks. One can already see the solidarity that COMERCO has. Despite all that, we spent almost half of the budget. And off to the truck we managed to fill to leave for Valencia the next day. Thanks Comerco. We know that in the face of a catastrophe, we can count on your brand. Translated commentShow original

I have visited it very frequently over the last 7 years. In the last year of this, I have almost completely stopped going. Reasons: Expired merchandise (especially in cold cuts and milk) Spoiled merchandise (especially in the cold zone) Workers who think they have the right to talk back to customers (and not just once) as if they were superior, with airs of a marquis/marchioness Management that observes repeated and constant failures and, out of fear (I believe of being left without workers), does not take action regarding them It has 4 checkouts and only 2 work, at most 3, and 99% of the days there are queues up to the cold zone and biscuits Slow and lazy cashiers who dedicate themselves to having conversations that are often very off-topic and inappropriate And the last thing, and what bothers me the most: prices that do not match between the shelves and the invoices (I know that VAT must be taken into account) I and many of my colleagues in the profession have stopped visiting this establishment regularly because of the above mentioned and many more things and details I rate it a 4 because Antonio, David, and I don’t remember the name of the girl who is in preserves and food, deserve a 10 P.S.: in the summer they don’t turn on the AC to save money👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎En los últimos 7 años lo he visitado muy asiduamente En el último año de esto ya casi he dejado de ir completamente Motivos : Mercancía caduca ( especialmente en embutidos y leche) Mercancía en mal estado ( especialmente en la zona de frío Trabajadores que se creen con el derecho de responder a los clientes ( y no en solo una ocasión ) como si fueran superiores, con aires de marqués/a Gerencia que observa fallos repetidos y constantes y por miedo (creo yo a quedarse sin trabajadores ) no toman acciones al respecto Tiene 4 cajas y solo funcionan 2 cómo máximo 3 y el 99% de los días hay colas hasta la zona de frío y galletas Cajeros lentos y perezosos que se dedican a mantener conversaciones muchas veces muy fuera de tono y inapropiadas Y lo último y lo que más me molesta : precios que no concuerdan entre estanterías y facturas ( ya se que hay que tener en cuenta el IVA) Yo y muchos de mis compañeros de profesión hemos dejado de visitar este establecimiento regularmente por lo arriba mencionado y muchas más cosas y detalles Lo puntúo con 4 porque Antonio , David y no me acuerdo del nombre de la chavala que está en conservas y alimentación se merecen un 10 Ps : en verano no ponen el AC para no gastar👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎Translated commentShow original

I have been shopping at this supermarket for many years and this is the second time I haven’t been served by an unpleasant and rude butcher, who didn’t even answer my greeting… Other than that, no complaints. I repeat, that girl in the butcher shop is unnecessary in your supermarket, rude and very unpleasant.

The security guard was watching me as if I were a criminal; with so many cameras, it is very easy to know who is stealing, and that is not the way to treat a customer.

It is okay, but it needs more people to help and there are few people at the counter, which makes the process slower.

A disgrace, with almost 10 minutes left before closing, the security guard didn’t let me in, even though I was alone and wouldn’t have taken more than 10 minutes, thank you very much, tomorrow it could be your turn!!Una vergüenza , quedando casi 10 min para cerrar el seguridad no me ha permitido pasar , siendo solo una persona y que no hubiera tardado más de 10 min , muchas gracias mañana podrías ser tu!!Translated commentShow original

Today I was asked to leave a laptop and a backpack I was carrying in one of the checkout counters (even though there were no lockers enabled for this, and I had no objection). I kindly complied, but when I arrived at the checkout, they didn’t know where my belongings were because the other cashier had left and had left them ALONE in another counter. I was on the verge of losing them. Additionally, I noticed there were women with handbags and they were not forced to do the same as I was. There was also a security guard who followed me as soon as I entered the supermarket… It is not pleasant at all to go shopping and feel constantly watched and judged. He estado a punto de perderlas. Translated commentShow original

Frequently asked questions about supermarkets in Marbella

What are the differences between supermarkets, markets, and malls?

Supermarkets are large self-service retail stores primarily focused on food and household goods, whereas markets often refer to specialized stalls or open-air areas with more diverse local vendors. Malls are large commercial complexes that house a variety of different types of shops, including clothing, electronics, and entertainment, in addition to grocery sections.

How often do supermarkets restock their shelves?

Supermarkets restock their shelves daily or multiple times a day to ensure that high-demand items remain available for customers. The frequency often depends on the turnover rate of the products, with fresh produce and dairy being replenished more frequently than non-perishable goods.
