Georgia Ntiniaropoulou

Everything we ate was absolutely delicious! The coffee was full of flavor and of excellent quality. We also tried the vanilla milkshake, made with homemade ice cream, and it was amazing. The freshly baked croissants and bread were outstanding. The atmosphere was cozy, relaxing, and welcoming. To top it all off, we enjoyed our brunch while listening to a talented girl playing the piano, which made the whole experience even more special. Highly recommended!

I visited Art Bakery in San Pedro on their soft opening day, and even with a limited menu of coffee, pastries, desserts and sweet treats, it was already clear this place is going to be something special. I first discovered Art Bakery at their Marbella location, so I was excited to visit their new bakery. Their passion for artisan baking really stands out, with beautifully handcrafted breads, pastries and quality ingredients. The coffee was excellent, and everything we tried was fresh and delicious. This is definitely a place to keep an eye on. Once they’re fully open with their complete menu, I have no doubt it will become one of the best bakery and breakfast spots in the area. Wishing the team every success—I can’t wait to come back!

Ordered two birthday cakes at Art Bakery & Gourmet last month and could not be happier. Not only the cakes were incredibly tasty, the service was great too. Sergio was very attentive, incredibly helpful, nothing was a big deal in terms of the design, flavour or decoration. Definitely to return 👍🏻👍🏻 Thank you and keep it up ☺️

We traveled from America and spent 3 weeks in Marbella and we found ourselves here at least every other day. This place has such high quality food that is crafted, not cooked, crafted to perfection and plated like a masterpiece. The best part is the food is decadent, everything on the menu absolutely slaps. From the drinks, to the pastries, to the main courses everything is a 10/10. Not to mention if you just need bread or a pastry these are some of the best you will find in Marbella. The atmosphere is a chill low key vibe that makes you feel like you are dining in an art gallery. The exterior seating is so eloquently done it seems like you are in a meticulously cared for garden. Every level of detail here is given the utmost attention and care and it shows. Don’t walk, run to Art Bakery & Gourmet it is an absolute must if you are in Marbella. Oh and the pizza is out of this world.

If you’re in Marbella and craving something delicious, Art Bakery is the place to go. The pastries here are incredible – super fresh, flaky, and delicious. Their cakes are on another level too, super moist and packed with flavor. I loved a lot Buffalo Pizza and Salmon Quiche. The vibe of the place is really chill, with a cool, cozy atmosphere that’s perfect for grabbing a coffee and a snack. Plus, the staff are super friendly, which always makes the experience better. Thank you for this great spot in Marbella.

I wasn’t expecting to be this impressed, but everything about this place hit the right note! The food was genuinely delicious, thoughtful flavors, nothing overdone. The service was kind without being overbearing. What stood out most, though, was the atmosphere. Tucked away in such a curated, peaceful spot, it felt like I’d been transported somewhere completely different. For a moment, I forgot I was even in Marbella. Hats off to the chef and waiters! Truly a hidden gem 💗

Stumbled across this little gem as it was a few mins from our villa. Have to say, it was absolutely outstanding. The countryside breakfast was the best avocado based dish i have ever had. But the stars of the show were the macarons, and particularly the coconut ones. Will definitely be back before we head home for more.

Lovely breakfast place. As a café it is really cozy, tucked away out of prying eyes with a gorgeous garden that does a decent job of reducing the noise from the A7. Great breakfast menu with plenty of choice and combinations, but on the expensive side, even for Puerto Banús. Service could be a little friendlier, not that that it influences at all whether I have breakfast there. It’s next to the Hard Rock Hotel and 10 minutes walk from the marina in Puerto Banús. It’s just a lovely place to sit and enjoy breakfast with friends, or while you read a good book for a bit.

A friend told me about this place some years back. I never failed to return every single summer when in the area. Is it difficult to understand why? The food is tasty, healthy and heaven sent. Prices for that sort of yummy food is actually more than reasonable. It’s an honest place with honest owners and staff working hard to please their customers. I’ve seen many customers from the demanding “treat me like a Princess” the past years from the Gulf countries. They never respect anyone. So if staff feel the need to be firm- I applaud them. They know they will get customers because they serve the most delicious and honest food in the entire area of PB.

Family orientated cafe, tucked quietly away in Puerto Banus. Might be worth arriving earlier if you want to get seating outside, the place was packed when we arrived around 10am and had to wait a while before getting seated. There are a couple of hotels situated across the road which definitely adds to how busy it can get, but worth a visit in my opinion. Food was really nice and the coffee was great.

Went for brunch around 11am on Saturday and it was fantastic. Service was attentive and friendly. The gluten free banana pancakes were so delicious 🤤 and the overall vibe was very cute and cozy. We took some cakes and cookie home – everything was yummy and highly recommend the carrot cake! We noticed several different customers treating the staff in an appalling and rude manner. The staff maintained their composure and I was impressed with how they handled such outrageous behavior. I highly recommend Celicioso and please remember to treat everyone with kindness! 💕

Healthy gluten free menu that caters to all diets but of course pricey in Marbella. There are quite a few plant based choices. Even though the vegan cupcakes are dry, their menu selection is good. (no one in the world so far has better gluten free cupcakes than in Reno/Lake Tahoe, NV At Haven on Earth, from my experience making and tasting across the globe).

Sat May 30th at 1230ish the lady at the inside counter refused to take my order after we waited there to order, and told me to sit down and someone will come take my order. In the 30-40 mins my children and I sat and patiently waited, while we watched 5 other people arrive all around us, order at the counters and their food and drinks brought to them. It wasnt even busy so many empty tables. Each arriving later and later then us and all being attended quicker than us. The lady who refused us kept walking by us into baking room never looking at us or helping after she told us to go sit to order. Beyond rude way to treat customers.. I walked to the counter no one came to try one last time to order (after my stomach hurting 40 mins of waiting), and I told the woman outside at the juicebar im leaving and writing a bad review for literally the worst service. We walked around the corner to Lagom- welcomed with smiles and very kind fast service. What a shame that I used to visit Celioso for years as one of my fav places, that it has deteriorated to such bad treatment. My children were very sad sutting there watching everyone eat their cakes and drinks, other children with their dads etc while we sat and waited. Absolutelt terrible customer service by the lady running the register and the bakery at inside counter and who is managing it to get this bad?

Sat down, waited 15 minutes for a menu. Requested menu in Spanish the woman continued to speak to me in English. Took a further 10 minutes to get someone to take my order I was just about to leave but thankfully got the attention of this time a nice waitress. Taxis outside constantly tooting. I saw 3 people return their food in my time here. the beet detoxifier drink I ordered was delicious and spicy with the ginger, however the breakfast tea was terrible It’s quite an expensive place. The atmosphere is a bit stuffy and there are certainly nicer places on the cost to spend your money. If you’re looking for gluten free sugar free cakes etc to take away then I’d recommend, but to sit in certainly not. I cannot comment on how the food tastes, but people around seemed to be happy with their plates

Absolutely delicious! So much choice! Pancakes were amazing, worth every cent! (And to those complaining about the price: all over Europe small glutenfree bakeries are closing their doors because they are not charging prices high enough to cover their costs. The prices here are absolutely deserved – for excellent quality in a niche market). Thank you!

This is, without a doubt, my favorite coffee shop and bakery in Marbella. Having tried many spots around town, I can honestly say I’ve never found another place that offers this level of quality, service and value all in one. The biggest reason I keep coming back is the people. The staff is super friendly, patient and genuinely happy to see you. They make you feel welcome every time you walk through the door. A special mention goes to Sonia, who consistently goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. The pastries are fantastic, especially considering the prices. Their quality-to-price ratio is easily the best I’ve come across. If you’re visiting for the first time, don’t leave without trying the Cardamom Bun or the Pain au Chocolat. The venue itself is another reason this spot stands out. It’s always clean, calm and peaceful, with a lovely atmosphere. You’ll often see families from the area, and makes a great place for kids too. Together with their pastries and service, I couldn’t recommend it more.

We came here twice and each time we came we enjoyed the coffee and especially the baked goods. Service has always been nice the same person served us each time. Regarding smoking it is common in europe and yes it might not be to our liking but it is cultural and we might never get used to it if we come from a country or place where smoking is banned in restaurants. Maybe in the future. Regarding the baked goods and sandwiches look very good and it is good artisan quality. Concerning the waiter Camilo seems to be the only person and he works hard. He has been very helpful despite a full cafe. We will return here from out of country visitors because they will enjoy it!

We’ve just got back from our trip and we’re sorry to say that we’ve had the same experience our friends told us about. Just like them, we won’t be going back. The quality of the coffee has gone downhill, and as we were told, the prices are set to rise even further. The waiters are friendly, but the shop assistant is a real grump. There used to be a girl who always served you with a smile, and even though we knew the products they sold, she would always recommend them with such enthusiasm. You can tell when someone loves their job and conveys that to you. Now they’re rude and unprofessional – it’s a shame. It used to be our favourite café because of the atmosphere; now we’ll only pop in for their pastries, as their bread is exquisite.

I’ve been there several times and I’ve always loved everything. But I won’t be going back… the last two times I went with my dog in his carrier. One time they invited me in with him since they’re pet-friendly and even had no problem leaving him in his carrier on a chair. This last time they asked me to keep my dog on the floor, and I didn’t understand. But of course I accepted it and ordered takeout since my dog doesn’t stay in his carrier on the floor. But I didn’t like that they don’t have clear policies… one day yes, the next no. And more than anything, I’ll drive a little further so my best friend can sit with me ❤️

They also have a vefy good selection of cakes, big and small, fruity and chocolatey. Inside and outside sittinf as well as free wifi. The staff is very helpfull and the service is good. Parking is always full. Dirty spoons with coffee. Waiters dont remember the tables that did ordered. Not really safety according to Coronavirus measures. They dont know the difference between latte and coffee with milk.

A locals morning coffee place in Marbella center, just off Ricardo Soriano near L’Angelino restaurant and La Fría Freiduria. The coffee shop cafe is connected to a pastelería/cake shop that offer some amazing pastries and fresh backed bread daily. The cafe offers all types of continental breakfast and typical Spanish breakfast. Lunches are also a favorite for Marbella locals. With seating outside in a typical Spanish style plaza surrounded with jacaranda trees.

The place looks nice and traditional but food was bad and overpriced !! The deserts weren’t fresh at all, the fruit tasted withered and the cream was old, it was very overpriced and not worth it. My son broke a 40gr bar of chocolate by mistake and it cost 8 EUROS the service was mediocre and waiter ware quite rude like they ware doing you a favor. All in all don’t go.

I have been coming here for 5 years. Everyday I used to come and order. I am a consistant client. Ordered many big orders and visit with family. The service has always been really good and food is amazing, so I regretfully have to write this. The older staff are really lovely and very well mannered. So this is not directed at them at all. However, today was absolutely shocking. The 2 waitress’s behind the bar. One new younger and 1 slightly older. Threw a menu at me, told me I can only order 1 thing from the menu and wanted to charge me for asking for taking ham off a sandwich and switching it for tomato. They where so rude, I asked them why they had such a bad attitude towards clients and one began to explain that the place switched management and they are not happy. How is this the clients fault? Its a shame that your new staff creates this bad vibe for your long standing loyal clients. Really reluctant to come back. If you think this is a over reaction, whoever owns this place needs to ask a close friend to just try the place and give them honest feed back on the staff. As I am sure if you walk in they are on top behaviour. As soon as you leave this is not the case. It a shame that you loose long standing loyal clients because of just a few people who don’t enjoy their job.

It’s so strange and sad that we were asked to leave just because we had our cat in a carrier bag. We were sitting outside at a separate table and weren’t bothering anyone. This is the first café that has ever asked us to leave because our cat was with us. To make it worse, the waiter was arrogant and spoke to us in a very unpleasant manner.

Alicia Café Guadalmina in Marbella offers a diverse selection of premium pastries and artisanal breads. While the quality of the desserts, particularly the cheesecake, is noteworthy, the establishment operates with a specific ordering process that can lead to extended wait times during peak morning hours.

The atmosphere is generally welcoming, featuring a friendly team and a relaxed vibe. However, visitors should be prepared for a slower service pace and potential language barriers. It remains a notable destination for those seeking high-quality baked goods and specialty food bundles.

Food is amazing but staff don’t speak much English and there is the strangest queuing system where you have to keep going to till to order to table and it’s always a 15 min wait in morning cause people are coming and ordering take-away so defo not worth the nice pastries

The best pastries, cakes and bread in the area. The ladies working there are lovely but they do need to change their system as it’s too slow! I wanted a coffee not a three-course meal!

One word “dangerous” as the cakes are way too good !! Especially the cheese cake which is superb. A great vibe also to have a relaxing bite to eat , they also offer some great pressie type food bundles. Highly recommended 👌

The location is lovely with a small garden; coffee, great and the pastries, delicious especially the croissants made with butter. I have been going for years and the big off putting element is that the staff starts closing up the terrace WAY before the closing time( three quarters of an hour before closing time)and starts sweeping the floors and packing away very much before closing time; it made us feel unwelcome and rushed to finish. Also please bring back the table service( pre -covid) it is so much more of an upmarket feel when you get table service and not have to queue like at a cafeteria.

This place has stunningly good quality everything. Yes, if you are cheap and want to pay 50 cents for a coffee, please go someplace else. But if you understand what good coffee is, and how a lovely croissant should taste, this is it. Literally best place in Marbella. And I have been around everywhere.

Apart from the fact that it might be slightly overpriced for some people that expect a cup of coffee for a euro, and the fact that on a busy morning you might need to wait a little longer, I find this place is perfect for my business meetings. Staff is very attentive and pleasant, tend to remember your personal preferences and always smile. Will recommend for a morning meeting with friends and even some business contacts but only if you are not in a lot of rush or if you do not have some special dietary preferences.

Lots of variety in this shop of pastrie. Unfortunately I read previously that hot and cold drinks were served but this is not the case. So I opted for a croissant and when I pulled put cash the woman behind the counter groaned and nearly rolled her eyes at me and showed me the receipt of 1.50 so I siad I’d pay by card if cash was a problem to which she then pointed at a small sign on the side of the counter saying minimum 10euro charge. I thought maybe to use the card machine but i had cash so i had to abandon the pastry shop without anything. Outrageous really in this day.

Yesterday my friend went to get a cake. When he arrived at the pastry shop, he asked if a particular cake was a birthday cake to which the employee replied yes, it was. When he got home we realised it was a cheesecake, not a birthday cake 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️. I had to go to another shop to buy a birthday cake, when the employee could’ve told that it was a cheesecake. 🤦🏽‍♀️ I wasn’t happy with the purchase, at all!

They have lots to choose from. Starters to mains and even dessert. Theres hot and cold drinks. My favourite is strawberry and banana milkshake. And beef sandwich with chips. The staff wear masks and clean the tables after each customer. Also they have hand sanitizer at the entrance to clean. There’s music in the background and the atmosphere is friendly. The service is fast and your order correct no Mistakes. The coffee here is also good. There’s little birds which keep you company.you can either sit at the bar or choose to sit on a table depending on space. The cakes here are amazing I recommend you get a peace if you still have room from your main course. The view isn’t anything special but there is glass windows to look out of to see the main road and the horses that are lined up on the corner.the space of the building is quite large so there’s enough room for alot of people. There’s very little waiting time for a table or to sit at the bar. They even have toothpicks if you need one after your meal. I also recommend you get a crepe they too are amazing here.

Frequently asked questions about wedding cake bakers in Marbella

How much does a wedding cake cost?

The cost of a wedding cake varies significantly based on the size of the cake, the complexity of the design, and the choice of ingredients. In Marbella, prices are influenced by whether you choose a standard flavor or a premium selection, as well as the level of customization required for the decorations. Most couples find that budgeting for both the cake itself and the delivery or assembly service is essential.

How do I choose a wedding cake baker?

Choosing a wedding cake baker involves reviewing portfolios, tasting different flavors, and ensuring their style aligns with your wedding theme. It is important to check if the baker can accommodate specific dietary requirements and to confirm their availability for your specific wedding date. Clear communication regarding delivery logistics and setup in your chosen venue is also a key factor in making the right selection.

    What is a wedding cake?

A wedding cake is a large, decorative cake traditionally served at a wedding reception to celebrate the union of a couple. It typically features multiple tiers and is available in a vast array of flavors, such as vanilla, chocolate, or fruit-based options. Beyond its taste, the cake serves as a centerpiece for the celebration and is often customized with unique toppers or intricate frosting designs.

Why does wedding cake taste different?

Wedding cakes often taste different because they are specifically formulated to remain structurally sound while being displayed. Unlike standard everyday cakes, wedding cakes may use different types of sponges or stabilizers to ensure they hold their shape during transport and display. Additionally, the use of high-quality professional ingredients and specific baking techniques can result in a more refined flavor profile.

How far in advance can you bake a wedding cake?

While the cake is usually assembled and decorated shortly before the event, the components can be prepared well in advance. Many professional bakers prepare the sponge layers days beforehand, while others may bake them even further out to ensure the best texture. However, the final assembly and delicate decorations are typically completed on the day of the wedding or the evening prior to ensure freshness.
