Karim Nazerali-Dib

I don’t usually leave Google reviews, but this place absolutely deserves one. I’m visiting Marbella from Canada for a friend’s wedding, and after eating here twice in two days, I can honestly say this is one of the best breakfast/brunch spots I’ve ever been to. Everything was outstanding, from the quality of the ingredients to the presentation, atmosphere, and service. The Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon was phenomenal, the açai bowl was fresh and delicious, the coffee was excellent, and even the water made me smile. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. I even told the owner that I might come back to Marbella just to eat here again… and I wasn’t joking. Thank you for making my trip to Marbella even more memorable. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Spain.

I had an amazing brunch experience in Marbella! The food presentation was absolutely beautiful. Beyond the visuals, the flavors were just fresh, and well balance. The coffee was also perfectly brewed. Overall, a great spot for brunch with great attention to detail, both in taste and presentation. I would definitely come back!

Fantastic spot for a family breakfast. I had found this place from a Google search, looking for somewhere healthy for adults, but with pancakes for the kids – and it didn’t disappoint. A bit pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for! The avocado and poached eggs were amazing.

Such a cozy spot for brunch and coffee! I really appreciate the atmosphere here, the space feels welcoming and relaxed, perfect for a casual meal. We ordered a burger and the Magic Sandwich. I asked to swap my regular fries for sweet potato fries, and the staff kindly agreed, which I really appreciated. It’s always nice when places are flexible like that. The coffee was well-balanced and tasty. The food was good – solid and satisfying. For this area, the price feels fair for the overall experience. I also loved the little details: the sweet wishes on the bill and the small phrases on the napkins. Those thoughtful touches really elevate the whole experience. Would happily return!

We visited another restaurant from this chain in Alicante one year ago and really wanted to try it again. Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed, though it was still a nice experience. This place is more formal, still cozy but it’s a bigger breakfast restaurant. The food looked nice, but something was missing compared to another restaurant- maybe it was a bit more generous in terms of ingredients, a bit more thorough preparation of each portion, nicer serving in Alicante. But the waitress was very friendly here, the place is clean and located well, so overall we liked it 💜

I absolutely loved my visit to this café! The food was incredibly delicious – you can really tell that everything is made with care and high-quality ingredients. The ambiance is also beautiful: cozy, stylish, and perfect for relaxing. You immediately feel comfortable and welcome. I would especially like to highlight the service – very attentive, friendly, and professional without being intrusive. Our waiter Olivier was particularly warm and accommodating. I will definitely come back and highly recommend this café!

Unfortunately, the wait for the food was quite long. The churros were excellent, but we weren’t impressed by the tuna sandwich. We also ordered the gluten-free version, which was frankly quite disappointing.

This churreria is a hidden jewel. It is one of those where the rule of “follow the locals and it will be great” applies. And I hope it remains a place focused on the local clientele that tourists can enjoy. Fantastic churros, coffee, and sandwiches! It was highly recommended to us by our host and it did not disappoint.

I recently dined at one of the places belonging to this particular brand, renowned for serving the best churros in town. And trust me, they live up to the hype. The churros were crispy, flavorful, and perfectly paired with chocolate and white chocolate sauce, or as they like to call it, Nutella. It’s a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth. In addition to the churros, I also highly recommend trying the watermelon juice. It was refreshing and complemented the meal beautifully. The only minor downside was the staff, who seemed a bit odd at times, though they were still quite pleasant. It didn’t affect the overall dining experience, which was memorable and satisfying. If you’re in the area and have a craving for some truly excellent churros, look no further than this restaurant. It’s a culinary experience you won’t want to miss.

Miguel Cartaxo Conceição

We decided to follow a recommendation we had come across on TikTok, and the experience proved to be a very positive one. The restaurant is located on one of the busiest streets in Marbella’s dining district, yet it maintains a welcoming atmosphere in a more intimate corner setting. Despite being a group of eight—often a challenge when dining out—the staff were efficient in accommodating us. We were found a table within approximately five minutes, although it is worth noting that we arrived relatively early for dinner, at around 7:30 pm. Our group opted for a wide variety of dishes, including cheese and cured meat boards, burgers, “huevos rotos,” pork cheeks, and pasta. The overall quality of the food was excellent, both in terms of flavor and presentation. The pork cheeks were particularly noteworthy—exceptionally tender, rich, and full of depth, effectively standing out as one of the highlights of the meal. Service, while not exceptional, was attentive and satisfactory throughout. The final bill came to €150 for eight people, which we considered appropriate given the quality of the food and the restaurant’s prime location. Overall, this was a very enjoyable dining experience, and one that we would be happy to recommend.

Found the place online and loved the experience! The charming cafe is located in a beautiful street in the Marbella old town. They’re may be some waiting for a seat as it’s quite popular. The service was quite slow , it took a lot of effort to get the servers attention for the menu and then to take out order. The food was amazing! We tried the tinto de Verano which was served in a generous portion. The salmon with teriyaki sauce was also very good. The highlight was the pork cheeks, they were the most tender ones I’ve ever tried and paired perfectly with Patato wedges. Only downside is I asked for extra salad on my plate and they served a small portion on the side and charged me 4.5 euro for it! It should be made clear beforehand. Either way lovely meal , would love to come back .

Very disappointing experience. We were among the first customers to arrive, but other people were seated before us. On top of that, every dish we ordered was completely lacking in flavor. I ordered the Chicken Aglio e Olio, and the spaghetti was bland with almost no seasoning. The rest of the food was also tasteless. Unfortunately, the service and the food did not meet our expectations, and we won’t be coming back.

A Marbella favorite we kept coming back to! We visited this restaurant several times during our stay, and every visit was just as good as the last. It’s perfectly located on one of the most beautiful streets in the Old Town, so yes—it can get busy and you might have to wait, but trust me, it’s worth it. Over multiple visits we tried: tuna tartare, pil-pil prawns, mini burgers, patatas alioli, patatas bravas, and of course padrón peppers (not on the menu, but we asked—and as newfound fans of this dish, we were lucky to get them). Each time, we paired our meal with their sangria. After trying it once, there was no going back—it’s perfect. Highly recommend this spot, and I’ll definitely be back on my next trip to Marbella!

Stopped by Amorino Marbella for an ice cream in the morning and, as always, it didn’t disappoint. Amorino has been one of my favourite ice cream places for years, and this visit reminded me why. The gentleman behind the counter was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. The store itself was spotless, beautifully presented, and very quiet in the morning, which made for a relaxed start to the day. The ice cream was, as expected, absolutely delicious with the high quality I’ve come to expect from Amorino. If you’re in Marbella and fancy a treat, I can highly recommend stopping by. Great service, great atmosphere, and fantastic ice cream.

Amorino is a lovely spot. The ice cream is excellent overall — incredibly creamy, rich, and full of natural, high-quality flavours. The coffee drinks are also very well made, smooth and enjoyable. The venue itself is beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and has a really nice, relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for a stop while walking along the seafront. Highly recommended!

We’re currently on holiday in the area and have already visited this coffeeshop twice with our family. The first time, we stopped by just to enjoy some gelato, and the second time we came back for dessert after dinner at the excellent restaurant next door. The selection of flavors is incredible, each one more tempting than the last, and every flavor we’ve tried has been absolutely beautiful. The quality is outstanding, and it seems that a lot of care goes into making the gelato. We’ll definitely be coming back few more times before our holiday is over. Highly recommended!

Amazing ice cream and stellar service! Been a long time favorite of Amorino’s ice cream but this is the first time we got to try their sorbet drinks and milkshakes. Just as high a quality I’d say! Not a coffee drinker myself but others in our group tried their coffee as well which I heard was also very much to their liking. Will visit again!! 11/10 All Around🍦

We stumbled across this brilliant little ice cream spot while in Marbella and it quickly became a daily favourite for us 🍦 The selection of gelato was fantastic — loads of flavours, all fresh, rich, and properly authentic. You can tell straight away it’s quality stuff, not your standard tourist ice cream. What really stood out though was the service. We were with our 22-month-old daughter, and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. They happily sorted her a smaller portion without any fuss and just made the whole experience really easy and relaxed for us as a family. Great atmosphere, great people, and even better ice cream. If you’re in Marbella, this place is 100% worth a visit — we’ll definitely be back next time!

The establishment faces challenges regarding service consistency and the value of its savory dishes. Improving attention to detail and food presentation would better align the experience with its premium atmosphere.

Overall, we had a pleasant experience at Cappuccino Marbella. The food was good and the quality of the ingredients was evident. However, there are several areas that could be improved to match the restaurant’s premium atmosphere. The presentation of the dishes could use more attention. For example, the club sandwich was served on its own without any chips or fries, which made it feel incomplete for the price. Small details like this would enhance the overall dining experience. We also noticed that the teapot was not properly polished and appeared dirty, which was disappointing. Unfortunately, the service was inconsistent. One of our drinks was forgotten, and we had to remind the staff twice before it arrived. In addition, we waited more than eight minutes for the bill, and by the time of writing this review, we were still waiting. Cappuccino Marbella has great potential with its good food and lovely setting, but improving the presentation, attention to detail, and service efficiency would make the experience much more enjoyable.

I only recommend to go to this place to have a drink, a coffee/tea with a dessert (didn’t try it) because of the location on the paseo . The terrace is facing the sea. For the food, it’s definitely overpriced for nothing special. Croquettes iberico + a burger + a tinto do verano = 58€. They don’t know what is a burger and what you can get for 58€. I added a picture of the burger. 32€ for this… even a child 10 years is doing the same. Bun is without interest, meat overcooked, salad and tomato…. For 32€, you are expecting something else and at least house French fries… definitely not a place for dinner. The staff is not polite and really not smiling . Said hello to 2 of them and they simply didn’t reply….on’y 1 was nice (let’s normal…)

Really recommend you come here for brunch. The food and service was great and I also think it has the best coffee I’ve tried so far in Marbella. Be aware it finishes the breakfast/brunch selection at 12 as it changes to a different menu. All in all it cost €61 for 2 x latte 1 x super juice 1 x juice 1 x eggs Benedict with ham and 1 x avocado with scrambled eggs on bread and a ham and cheese board with croissant and bread. All of which was very nice and keeps you going for the whole day.

Cappuccino Marbella is officially the “cheapest” restaurant in terms of service and hospitality despite their “fine dinning” prices I’ve ever been to. I’ve ordered a well done burger. They brought me a burger that’s not well done inside , after I’ve beaten it and realized it I sent it back. And on the photo attached you can see the burger they returned to me…The burger that I’ve beaten hasn’t been replaced, instead they just fried the very same beaten beef patty and brought it back to me well done. I guess I have to be thankful at least for getting it right the second time.

This was the best place I ate whilst in Marbella and could not recommend it enough. The food is absolutely delicious. It stays open late and I ate my food and beer at 10:30pm which was perfect for me. The patata bravas are delicious and authentic. I also tried the empanada’s which were scrumptious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable. I will return here without a doubt when in Marbella.

Had the tasting menu and was blown away. Absolutely delicious Venezuelan food—my first time trying it, and now I want more. The service was outstanding. A must-try if you’re in Marbella.

We didn’t try the food here even after visiting the place twice, but we had a great time here due to the atmosphere and the authenticity of the place. The restaurant is located as close to Marbella Old Town as you can get, offering a view to the original buildings of Old Town. This means less tourists, lower prices, and better all over quality, compared to what I see as the tourist traps in the Old Town area. A huge plus is the location, facing the sunset. I therefore specially recommend going here in the afternoon or evening, as the town buildings isn’t blocking the sun.

Couldn’t recommend this place more!! We arrived here for breakfast on the last day of a hen do and there was a slight misunderstanding of the set food menu on both my end and the venues. This was sorted within minutes and the staff couldn’t be more helpful! They let us leave our suitcases here while we wandered down to the beach, which is only minutes away! The venue itself is absolutely stunning (Instagram worthy) and the healthy food is just what we needed after a weekend of drinking. I recommend this to anyone looking for great healthy food, perfect hospitality & a gorgeous location. Thanks to everyone who accommodated us!

Nice strawberry matcha with coconut milk. Calm, cosy atmosphere in Puento Romano with trees around and a pool. (Extra charge to use it) Staff very nice and quick. Looking forward to try more things, the bakery stuff looked great. Everything healthy wibe

This place offers a wide range of options and the overall vibe is very nice. The location is beautiful, and you can enjoy your food or drinks by the pool, which creates a relaxing atmosphere. However, none of the items we ordered really met our expectations. We went for brunch and ordered two different dishes along with an iced matcha with mango. Unfortunately, the matcha didn’t taste rich and felt quite watery. One of the breakfast dishes (I can’t remember the exact name) had a very strong vinegar taste that wasn’t very pleasant. They also didn’t ask how I would like my poached eggs cooked, so they ended up quite runny. The iced coffee was good though. The eggs Benedict with salmon was okay but fairly average. Overall, the location and ambiance are lovely, but in my opinion it felt a bit overpriced for what you get.

The food and drinks were great. They were a bit slammed and it took about 20 minutes for someone to come to our table. They have so many great food and drink options. We hope to return soon.

Nice option for healthy food but the prices are really high for the portion sizes. A slice of banana bread is €7 which is crazy. The seating area outside is nice on a warm day.

Actually the worst breakfest I have had in a while. The burrito was so bad I just ate the eggs but the coconut milk latte was good, also weird vibe with little kids playing Marco Polo in the pool

If you’re looking for a charming spot to unwind and indulge in a delightful meal, Pan & Mermalada in Marbella is a must-visit. The ambience is absolutely stunning—picture-perfect with a décor that’s both modern and cozy, offering a serene atmosphere that feels both refreshing and inviting. Every corner of the restaurant seems designed with care to create an aesthetically pleasing environment. I tried the salmon poke bowl, and it was a treat. Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, it made for a satisfying and light meal. But what really stole the show was the pistachio latte. It’s a unique and delicious blend that I highly recommend—rich, creamy, and just the right balance of nuttiness. It’s a drink you won’t want to miss! The customer service was excellent as well. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made the experience even more enjoyable. If I’m ever back in Marbella, I’ll definitely be stopping by Pan & Mermalada again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food in a beautiful setting!

Im on the Beach

Disappointing, they must have changed owners. Menu was nicer before. We were served eggs benedict, barest barebones presentation just an egg on a muffin and a spoonful of sauce – no hash browns or small bite of fruit for garnish like they used to do. Felt very basic for 16 euros (need to add fruit, and other extras, you’ll come to over 25 euros per person plus drinks). Pity.

I love this place. The food is delicious, the staff is so friendly. Karima is an amazing and attentive waitress I always get the best service with her. Yoanet, Randy & Pilar are also great staff members who always make my experience at Pan y Mermelada enjoyable, easy & delicious. Their breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner options are all so great, they have something for everyone. I’ve tried the majority of the food in this place and it’s all so good so it’s hard to select just one or two. They are accommodating when you need to add or remove ingredients too. 100% would recommend!

Such a cute cafe/ restaurant with excellent food. I liked the Thai curry and the goat cheese salad. Our waitress Sophie was super sweet and nothing was a problem for her. There is a huge parking space without cars next door where the kids can play football.

Great food and awesome service! Very good cuisine, solid selection of foods + drinks and a very friendly staff that makes sure you feel comfortable while staying there. Felt calm in the evening hours and offers plenty of space to enjoy their great food. Definitely go for the Ginger Lemonade, must be one of their bestselling items for a reason! This cozy cafe offers a diverse selection of dishes from around the world in an upscale shopping mall. The food portions, flavor, and presentation are average. Its standout feature is the range of fresh juices and juice blends, though these are only available until 6PM. After that, only ginger lemonade (5.90 Euros) and fresh orange juice remain. The Thai Beef Noodle Bowl was well seasoned and flavorful, with a moderate level of spice. The jerk chicken wrap was less tasty but served with a rather small portion of fries. Prices vary from 10 to 29 Euros. A 5.00 Euro service charge is added to the bill. The staff are warm, friendly, and attentive.

Small World Cafe is a great find near our house. It’s small but cozy, with fresh and tasty food. The chicken salad with honey mustard dressing was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. They had a daily special of tuna tataki — normally not our favorite, but it’s tuna season, so my dad tried it. We were all amazed by how fresh and flavorful it was — a fantastic recommendation! The Small World burger and goat cheese salad were also really good. Usually many dishes each time we visit all are great!

Café de Ronda is one of those places that combines great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere perfectly. Their menu has something for everyone. From fresh salads and tasty tapas to hearty pastas and main dishes. The sandwiches are generous and full of flavor. The Relais de Paris section of the menu is a highlight, the steak with the signature sauce is absolutely delicious. Portions are generous, ingredients are fresh. Don’t leave without trying one of their homemade cakes or desserts. It’s the kind of spot that works equally well for a casual lunch even just coffee and dessert. Highly recommended if you’re in Marbella and looking for quality food in a comfortable setting.

Don’t waste your money. The worst breakfast I’ve ever had. The quality of food was sooo poor. Food portions were very small. They used cheapest white toast for their omelette that no one even uses it for even the lowest quality dishes sold anywhere. Used hardly a quarter of a small avocado with hard one egg! Never ever go back

Great food and fantastic Illy coffee, staff are very efficient and the cafe is comfortable with a soothing ambiance much like an up market Parisian Cafe which is what it is emulating, there is a choice of comfortable sofa seating or tables and chairs. There are also tables outside and a beautiful staircase that takes you to the second level where there are more seating and toilets, as you would expect from this quality cafe the toilets are spotless.

Avoid this place like a plague. Tourist trap. The toast that I posted is their avocado toast 9 euros. It has almost no avocado and the bread is sandwich bread… Nothing to do with the picture in the menu. Scammers, word of mouth will do the justice.

Frequently asked questions about specialty coffee shops in Marbella

    What is specialty coffee?

Specialty coffee refers to high-quality coffee that has exceeded certain standards of excellence in flavor, aroma, and processing. Unlike commercial coffee, it is typically sourced from small-scale farmers and focuses on unique regional characteristics and ethical production methods. In a specialty cafe, you can expect a focus on precise brewing techniques and various single-origin beans.

How often can you drink coffee?

The amount of coffee you can safely drink depends on your personal tolerance and health status. Most health guidelines suggest that moderate consumption—typically a few cups a day—is acceptable for most healthy adults. However, it is always best to listen to your body and monitor how caffeine affects your sleep and energy levels.

What is the cost of premium coffee shops?

The cost of visiting premium coffee shops typically reflects the high quality of the raw materials and the skilled labor involved in preparation. Prices can vary depending on the complexity of the drink, the rarity of the specific bean origin, and the overall atmosphere of the establishment. You can generally expect to pay a bit more than at a standard high-street chain for a superior flavor profile.
