We had a fabulous 3 night stay at the Hard Rock Hotel Marbella. The staff on reception were always really helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Ignore the people complaining about having to pay a deposit when you arrive, this is only if you want to charge items to your room. If you are happy to pay for drinks etc as you have them, you do not need to pay anything extra. Our room was spotlessly clean and the complimentary cans of water were a welcome touch. The rooms are well soundproofed and we could not hear any of the outside noise. The two pool areas are fantastic, we spent each day around the main pool area (as the music is louder there and it has a more lively vibe). The staff around the pool were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. The rooftop pool is also lovely, it has a more chilled and laid back atmosphere. The buffet breakfast was excellent, there was so much choice and everything was fresh. We will definitely recommend this hotel and can’t wait for our next visit

We had a nice stay, but the highlight of our experience was definitely Bouchta, the chef at the dinner buffet. He was always smiling, genuinely kind and incredibly positive. You could see how much he cared about every guest, always doing his best to accommodate requests and going the extra mile to make everyone happy. His passion and warm attitude truly represent what hospitality is all about. Thank you, Bouchta!

I had an incredible experience at the Hard Rock Hotel event on the 14th of June with Loco Bongo. I went with my girls and we booked the VIP big roof sunbed next to the pool and from start to finish everything was amazing. We were warmly welcomed at the entrance by the manager and personally escorted to our area, which immediately set the tone for a luxury experience. The setup was beautiful, with bottle service presented in a stunning floating display that made everything feel extra special. The food and drinks were great nachos, burgers, fries, cocktails, beers, and mojitos, gin and tonic all constantly refreshed and served quickly by attentive staff. The entertainment was next level, with performers coming right to our sunbed, interacting with us, and even doing a mini performance just for us, which made the night feel so personal and unforgettable. Overall, the service was outstanding and the whole experience was luxury, fun, and pure vibes. Definitely one of the best nights I’ve had – I’ll 100% be back. 🫶🏾

I loved everything about this hotel. The staff were excellent, the balcony views were beautiful, and there was visible security throughout the property. However, I did notice sex workers in the lobby. They seemed to enter through the beach access with guests and would wait near the elevators. While this may not be entirely under the hotel’s control, it was something I noticed during my stay. The location is not that close to puerto banus as it seemed via the map, it as 15-20mins walking I also wasn’t a fan of the wristband system. I stayed for four nights, so I had to shower and tan with the wristband on the entire time. As a Muslim, it also made performing wudu (ablution) less convenient. Another issue was that the wristband didn’t always work on the first try. From both a security and convenience standpoint, I don’t think it’s the best solution. If someone were following you, needing to stop and repeatedly scan the wristband before the door unlocked could be frustrating and potentially unsafe. Traditional key cards would be a more reliable and efficient option.

I want to especially outline the restaurant service and stuff. They are absolutely amazing people! Always polite, respectful, friendly and helpful. They food is just amazing as well, Chef Bouchta is making stunning food, especially grilled sea bass and meant, he’s always helping with everything there and is being highly professional. I’m absolutely grateful for the experience at the restaurant every time I come for dinner or breakfast. Those amazing professionals just took my heart and soul!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!

What an amazing hotel! On arrival we were greeted by super friendly staff and were checked in by Tyler who was absolutely superb. He explained all of the amenities in the hotel and offered to book reservations for us for anything we wanted to do. The hotel itself is luxurious and classy, food and drinks all excellent. The pool is stunning and we thoroughly enjoyed the DJ’s playing around the pool in the afternoons. No sunbed wars, just very chilled and relaxed atmosphere. Rooms are beautiful with high quality bedding and toiletries, we had a fabulous view over both pools. Literally cannot fault any aspect of the hotel. The staff are all fun and friendly and cannot do enough for you, our room was cleaned every day by very smiley cleaners! We even had a bottle of bubbly waiting for us in our room as we were celebrating our anniversary. We were made to feel special for the whole visit and can’t recommend this amazing hotel enough. Special thanks to Tyler for the welcome he gave us and the top notch service. We will definitely be back. 11/10

A wonderful holiday at this gorgeous hotel. We had a large beautiful suite (V31) in a traditional Spanish style with all the mod cons which was on the top floor of this block in a quiet location but within easy reach of both the vibrant Plaza with its wide range of excellent restaurants that came alive at night and the relaxing beach area with its beach club facilities pool and range of restaurants|We particularly liked the restaurant offering at the beach. Having a small version of the main Nobu restaurant there in a lovely outdoor setting shaded from the sun by a pergola of bio diverse plants with an integrated mist system to keep us cool when required made for a very special experience. |I have had the opportunity to stay at some of the best hotel chains in the world including the One and Only, Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons, Oberoi Eden Rock etc and this hotel without a doubt had the best breakfast offering I have ever experienced. It was unbelievable and included and if you have kids it included a chocolate fountain!|The staff at the hotel went out of their way to make the holiday enjoyable and that included everyone from the restaurant and spa staff to the reception and concierge staff. We even liked the thoughtful touch of a little something left for my wife on her birthday even though we had not told them about it. |Very much look forward to coming back soon.

Let me start this with saying this is my first time leaving a bad review, as usually, I am very understandable. Very disappointing experience. At $1700 per night per room, the quality felt more like a $100-a-night hotel. The room was in poor condition, the bathrooms had mold, water in the shower would not drain and the overall property felt old and extremely poorly maintained. The swimming pool was dirty, and the beach setup was another huge disappointment, not something I would expect at a five star resort. After seeing the condition of the hotel, we decided to cut our vacation short and leave early. This hotel is nowhere near worth the price.

Beautiful resort with fantastic service but very disappointed that the front pool by the beach now has a minimum spend of €200 per bed, per day for residents!! Only free access to the two remaining pools and not enough beds for the whole resort and the Airbnb’s!!||||Never stayed in such a premium hotel where you have a minimum spend to use their main pool and hardly any beds if you do want to pay!||||Fully understand if people want to come that aren’t staying they must pay, unfortunately not catering for families any more and after many happy years we won’t be coming again!

Puente Romano is one of my favourite hotels I’ve ever stayed in, and one I still think about long after leaving.||The breakfasts are incredible—especially at La Petite Maison, where you can enjoy amazing food with beautiful sea views. The whole hotel is surrounded by lush greenery, so it feels more like staying in tropical gardens than in the middle of Marbella.||I also love that some of Marbella’s best restaurants are right here in the hotel, so every evening can be a completely different experience. Whether you feel like relaxing at the spa, working out in the gym, or playing tennis or padel, there’s always something to do.||What really makes it all come together is the fantastic service. Everyone is so welcoming and attentive, making every stay feel effortless and special.||I can’t recommend Puente Romano enough—it’s a place I’ll happily return to again and again.

Puente Romano is the place to be in Marbella when you are looking to be in the heart of the buzz. With it’s spacious garden and large rooms, this resort makes you feel intimate as though you live in an traditional luxurious Andalusian village. The bedrooms are renovated and have very comfortable facilities. The pools are themed (Coya, Nobu pool and more) There is wonderful staff that is always handy to help. The resort has the coolest gym and spa from six senses. The tennis club and kids club is their unique value too! Overall a memorable stay to have a staycation or discover Marbella.

We went for a mini-break during which my husband celebrated a birthday, “the best ever”, he declared (and he has had more than 80!) This was mostly due to the excellence of the Don Pepe Hotel (slightly enhanced by perfect weather). In every area the hotel was superb, the very comfortable room, the superb breakfast buffet which provided a wide choice of meats, cheeses, fruits plus individually cooked items, the wide choice of restaurants for lunch and dinner, but above all the friendly, high quality of service. The staff in every department, without exception, were happy to go above and beyond to ensure our total satisfaction. We are left with a lovely memory, thanks to all especially the staff of the Erre restaurant.

Stunning setting and phenomenal service – both combined to make this a dream hotel for us. We were celebrating and are much indebted to Francisco for his kindness and professionalism and for going out of his way to help us . Francisco is a real ambassador for the Gran Melia . – this is our first stay at Melia and because of Francisco and the wider team we will definitely make Melia our first choice when looking for a hotel. Thank you Francisco. All the staff we met were lovely . A big shout out to the breakfast team you were magnificent – pleasant and helpful despite busy service . We loved Lucia’s smile and warmth, Yvonne’s welcomes, and the gentlemen and ladies who served us were amazing. The young man who looks after the water and room refreshments was so friendly and chatty and our housekeeping and evening service ladies were wonderful. The food was of a high standard at breakfast and at Bardot and the pool. We also enjoyed a meal at China Crown and the ambience at buzzy Cappuccino. The pool concierges were great always there to sort a sunbed or bring a drink or snack. Our stay was pure bliss and we really hope we can return and enjoy the reinvented Don Pepe and in the meantime sample a few other locations with Melia. Thank you you made us very happy

Location is brilliant for restaurants, shops and the beach. Beautifully clean hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was a problem for them. Breakfast food was good. Good selection of foods and beverages. Dip pool was lovely and clean. Pool bar made very good cocktails. Can’t fault this place. When we had our flight cancelled by our airline and needed a room for another night for four of us, staff at this hotel remained calm (which helped to calm us) and accommodated us for another night. They were very kind and understanding of our situation which made a stressful situation so much more manageable.

We had a fantastic stay at Obal Urban Hotel during our trip to Marbella. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they kindly checked us in early, which was a great start to our stay. The rooms were modern, spotless and cleaned to a high standard, with fresh towels provided daily. The Sky Bar was another highlight. The food and drinks, and the bartender who served us each evening was always friendly, attentive and made us laugh The only small downside was that the pool doesn’t open until 11am, which would have been good to access a little earlier. Aside from that, we couldn’t fault our stay. We would definitely recommend Obal Urban Hotel to anyone visiting Marbella and would happily stay here again.

Very nice hotel, great location. Room was small but OK although the price was high but its summer in Marbella so to be expected. Breakfast was OK, nothing special like the breakfast at The Amare just down the road. I prefer a chef to make fresh eggs to order in the morning not ones that have been sat there for a while. Nice roof top pool with limited loungers, annoying that it didn’t open until 11.00am each day and if you weren’t there by 11.05am you didn’t get a sunlounger but they are limited for space. I would stay again but not at summer prices.

They even changed glasses and cups to plastic (I break things) and the restaurant, reception and bar staff were fantastic, putting me at ease immediately. It was they were “tuned in” to what I needed.||My room was modern and immaculate with everything at the right level. Cleaning and hygiene extremely well. A dip in the pool or beach, both a few steps away. Great seating in the restaurant with views over the sea and boulevard. We had a room on the seaside and getting up every day with views over the mediterranean sea is awesome, with views of Gibraltar and Africa if the weather is ok. Enjoyed the sauna a few times. Great base for walks along the seaside to Puerto Banus and San Pedro. Restaurants cafe s supermarkets take away s etc – all just steps away. Lounge is very comfortable. The hotel is a bit run down. The service is okay, but say for example we called for an iron, they make you go get it, they don’t bring to your room. They charge you for everything, towels for the pool, pool cups, which we found weird but you get some of that money back. The cafeteria in front of the building is super good. Didn’t try the restaurant. The pool was nice but very small because it overlooks the beach. It’s unfortunate that they allow smoking in the balconies because for the non smokers you can’t enjoy the balcony because of it. They should have a section for the smoker and another for non smokers. We don’t need to be exposed to second hand smoke. There is parking on the premises with electric chargers (with a cost). Staff is nice, but checkout is precisely at 10:00 and they are knocking on your door.

absolutely avarage. Over priced. Played one year ago and paid around 120. Today around 200. I know the hotel have been renovated etc but not the course. Asked in the pro shop before the round about the shape. Got the answer that it was amazing, best in the area, one of the best in spain. I have played most courses in the area. He might thougt I was i first time tourist or so,. Can easily rate 20 courses on the course thar are better. It’s not a bad course but for the price the value is terrible. Avarage shape, greens are fast but bumpy. Pin at no 10 was put in a slope where the ball couldnt stop. “best in the area”, if you know what you are doing youre not butting a pin in such spot.

Golf course is good but far from excellent. However the service and food is extremely bad. We visited with a group of 12 for annual golf trip. We arrived 2 hours before tee time. It took the staff 45minutes to give us a table and serve us 8 beer and 4 jugs of sangria. We had to chase after them to order food and ended up having to rush to the tee box. We had already planned to eat dinner aswell. 12 out of the 12 ordered plates were inedible and we ended up not eating. We spent €1400 euro for dinner and will never ever recommend this golf club to anyone.

Racist, rude, and disrespectful. I had a reservation at Nobu Marbella yesterday at 3:00 p.m. and was treated horribly. It was clear that my server did not want to serve me. She had an attitude from the moment she approached my table. I ordered drinks and waited more than 25 minutes before asking to speak with a manager, while other tables that were seated after me were served drinks and appetizers. As someone who frequents Nobu locations around the world, I know this is not the standard of service the brand represents. When I spoke with the manager about my experience, she simply offered to serve me herself and never addressed what had happened. I declined because I do not spend my money where it is not appreciated. The reason that server felt comfortable treating a paying customer this way is because management allowed it by failing to address the situation. Based on my experience, people of color are clearly not made to feel welcome at Nobu Marbella. I will be following up with Nobu’s corporate office regarding this incident. I sincerely hope no other person of color has to experience what I experienced at Nobu Marbella.

Racist! I am truly disgusted by the experience I had at Nobu Marbella. I went there for lunch with a friend, but our waitress refused to properly serve our table because my friend is Black. We waited more than 25 minutes for our drinks while two other tables that were seated after us received both drinks and appetizers. We brought our concerns to the restaurant manager, but she showed little concern and did nothing to address the situation or investigate what had happened. Racism has no place in today’s world, especially at an international brand that welcomes guests from every background. I have visited Nobu restaurants and hotels all over the world and have never experienced anything resembling the blatant discrimination and hostility we encountered at Nobu Marbella. The management team needs to do better by ensuring that all guests are treated with dignity, respect, and fairness, regardless of their race.

Nobu Marbella is all about location, atmosphere, and style. Steps from the ocean in an amazing setting with a great selection of restaurants and a wonderful, welcoming staff. Dining at COYA and the Thai restaurant was a great with truly delicious food and vibrant flavors. Drinks at the plaza and breakfast on the beach was the highlight of our stay! That said, as the restaurants got busier, the service did taper off a bit toward the end of the meal, which took away slightly from an otherwise great experience. The only other minor miss was in the room was no full-length mirror, which feels like an oversight for a destination where getting dressed up is part of the fun. Overall, a beautiful, lively place that delivers on ambiance and dining, with just a couple of small areas for improvement.

Absolutely phenomenal meal. Waiter recommended me the ribs at nobu….. we gave him the benefit of the doubt. Needless to say, Gabriel was absolutely spot on… they were the best ribs I’ve ever had. Talk about a 5 star 🚀

Sercotel Vime La Reserva de Marbella offers a convenient location for those seeking a coastal getaway. While the property provides a functional base for travelers, the interior condition of certain units varies significantly, with some accommodations appearing dated and lacking modern amenities like consistent hot water.

The service experience is characterized by efficient check-in procedures and polite staff. However, guests may find that the actual room quality does not always align with online presentations, making it a practical choice for those prioritizing location over luxury.

We were planning to stay here as a family of three in a two-bedroom apartment. Upon arrival, check-in was quick and the staff at reception were polite. We were given apartment 6021, and at first everything seemed fine.||However, once inside, the disappointment was immediate. The apartment looked nothing like the photos shown online. The furniture and interior were old and worn, the cleanliness was questionable, and overall it did not match the value for money we expected. When we mentioned this to the receptionist, she simply said that all apartments are “standard like this,” which was very surprising given the pictures used for advertising.||We felt completely misled by the online presentation. It’s unfortunate, as the location seemed good and the potential was there, but the accommodation itself was far below expectations.||We left after first night and requested money back.

False advertising. My room looked nothing liked the photos on the website. Cracked balcony tiles. No air con in 2nd bedroom which was tiny with no cupboards only 4 small draws. Bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen area looked very worn and in need of a make over. Bathroom towels were thin and worn. Would I rebook? never.

Lacking SENSE OF CARE after fire inside de sauna. On my last day, I decided to go to the sauna. The sauna was great and looked new. The staff came, turned it on, and I entered. After 10 minutes” I started to see the smoke and I thought it was normal, I fell asleep for a few minutes but I started to cough and I woke up. I went out to have a shower and I smelled smoke when I went back, I opened the sauna’s door it was on fire and smoke everywhere. The access to the sauna wasn’t easy as you need to have a card to enter. If I faint inside due to the smoke it could be fatal. In conclusion, I believe that the staff are unprepared and untrained for an emergency situation. No one asked how I was. The staff just asked what I had done, if I had put water on the stones? What did I do? What had happened with the sauna? My sleep and cough inside the sauna could be due to the inhalation of the smoke, luckily I woke up. However, despite this accident my stay was great, the place is peaceful and clean, nice rooms.

Great holiday spot and close to all the popular areas. However the hotel/apartments are very quiet with a chilled atmosphere all around. Restaurant on site is amazing and would recommend. The pools are great, especially the kids pool for little ones under 7 – although probably due a refurb though soon… would recommend

We recently stayed at Paloma Blanca Boutique to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday with our two teenage daughters, aged 19 and 21, and it did not disappoint. We were looking for a little haven where we could completely relax, and that’s exactly what we found.||The hotel has a lovely peaceful atmosphere with small but stylishly decorated rooms that were always spotless and very well attended to by housekeeping. The bar and pool areas were beautifully clean and never overly busy, which made it feel even more special and relaxing.||Towards the end of our stay, the hotel added gazebo, style loungers around the pool area, which made our final day extra special. We also loved the strict no towel reservation policy, meaning there was no battling for sunbeds each morning.||Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice, and the whole experience felt calm and unhurried. The location was ideal too, around a 20-minute walk to Puerto Banús along the beach, which was lovely to do in the sunshine.||Ubers were easy and quick to get from the hotel, so there was never any waiting around for taxis. We also hired bikes during our stay from the hotel, maybe a little TLC on the bikes wouldn’t go a miss but we still had great fun.||We leave tomorrow and would definitely recommend Paloma Blanca Boutique for anyone looking for a relaxing break, and we would absolutely return.

I stayed at Paloma Blanca Boutique Hotel for a few nights. Overall, it was a good experience. The room was clean and nicely designed, though not very big. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made the stay more comfortable. The location is decent—close to the beach and in a quiet area, but you might need a car or taxi to get around easily.Breakfast was okay, nothing special but fresh enough. The pool area was nice and relaxing. Not a luxury place, but good value for the price if you’re looking for something simple and calm.

What a charming discovery, this small hotel at human size and soul! This stunning beautiful hacienda feeling pool courtyard, smiling staff. Simple, but clean standard rooms with huge beds and comfy mattresses. Good breakfast with large choice of pastries and fresh vegetables and fruits), and dinner options at dora maar restaurant, 4 walking minutes to the beach. Don’t miss to hire the hotel’s comfy bikes to ride the 10 kilometer long amazing seafront walk until marbella center. Lets say it with arnold: I’ll be back !

We only stayed for 1 night as part of a longer stay. We arrived early and was able to store our luggage and use the pool and other amenities. We was able to gain access to our room 2 hours earlier which was a bonus. We had a ground floor room 20 which had everything we needed and the shower was nice and hot and powerful. The bed was comfortable as was the pillows and the aircon was fab! A good selection in the mini bar and reasonable prices as was the drinks at the pool side bar. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. A 5 min walk to the beach and there a selections of beach bars/restaurants. If we was in the are we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you Andrea and Casper

Firstly, I would like to say that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel itself was lovely, and we had no complaints until the final evening.||On our last night, my partner accidentally left her bag by the pool. At the time, we had no reason to suspect that it had been stolen, as we felt safe within the hotel. When we realised it was missing, we used the “Find My” feature to track her AirPods, which showed that they were still moving around the pool area.||We immediately informed hotel staff and asked if they could review the CCTV footage so we could identify what had happened. Unfortunately, our request was refused, and no immediate action was taken. Had the CCTV been checked when we first raised our concerns, there was a real possibility that the person responsible could have been identified before leaving the hotel.||Since then, the tracking location for the AirPods has updated and now shows them in Seville, strongly suggesting that the bag and its contents were stolen and taken away from the hotel.||We are extremely disappointed by the hotel’s response. While we understand there may be policies surrounding CCTV access, we expected the hotel to investigate the matter promptly on our behalf or involve security or the police if necessary. Instead, the delay meant that an opportunity to recover our belongings may have been lost.||I would appreciate an explanation as to why our request was not acted upon at the time and what procedures your hotel has in place for dealing with incidents of theft. I also ask that you investigate this matter fully and respond with the outcome of your investigation.

Recently stayed and had a great time, the staff were very friendly and it was next door to a lidl which for us was fantastic. The only negatives were the rooms were a little tired, the fridge was stocked as a mini bar making it difficult to fit your own stuff in, and the pool didn’t open till 11am (which i understand is out of their control). Would definitely return again though and recommend.

Little bit disappointed that it’s not clearly advertised that the pool is only open on weekends (booked on booking.com) So if you are booked from Monday to Friday you will have no access to the pool other than that, the apartment is good and does the job and is reasonably located so it’s not too far to walk to old town Marbella. I guess they compensate with giving you towels to go down to the beach with, which is a positive as it’s a very short walk. I think it’s important they should not advertise as a hotel, so people understand better what they are in for when they arrive. Again due to it not being a hotel they take a hefty €200 deposit on arrival which I can only imagine will take time to be refunded to you when you leave.

The front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to deal with. Although we were required to pay a €200 deposit, it was refunded within an hour of checking out. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very well maintained.

Rooms were very good but a little dated. The fridge temperature gauge was broken so all the contents froze and we unusable. The pool was not available to use on the Monday so this was very disappointing. There was no bar available which was also disappointing.

The hotel itself is in a great location, a 3 minute walk from the beach and a 10 minute drive from porta banus. The hotel staff are very helpful and polite. The rooms are very clean and the showers have great water pressure, they also have very spacious balconies. You can rent bikes and electric scooters at reception.

The location of the hotel is good also you can get a public transport from 3 minutes walking distance. We booked that hotel through Booking.com believe that it was 4 stars hotel however it was far from that, first of all if you are a lady and use a separate towel for your hair forget that once you’re staying there, the staff left only one towel for each guest and if you ask extra towel they charge for that, also they don’t change the towel every day, unless you pay extra for that. This hotel has a work system like hostel or cheap hotel near to the highway, they ask deposit and once you are living they left you waiting in the reception for a while until the staff verify the hotel room also if you use the kitchen be careful for don’t use the salt or other basic staff, they overcharge everything. If you are morning person, like to wake up and swim in the pool forget that, you are only allowed to use the pool after 11 am also if you are thirsty at the pool you pay 3 euros for a little bottle of water, basically everything in this hotel has a extra charge. I would say that the price of this hotel remains 4 stars but the staying is an experience in a 1 star hotel.
