Mr Nice

Absolutely terrible experience at the Lil Baby concert tonight. The waiters were aggressively demanding an additional 10% tip on top of the bill and putting customers under pressure to pay it. ( theres is a 10% included anyway but they added even another 10% on top ) When people refused, security was allegedly called over to intimidate them. This felt like a pure scam rather than hospitality. The waiter with the long beard was especially rude, arrogant, and unprofessional throughout the evening. Customer service was completely unacceptable. This thief needs to be stopped! Also, the rating of this venue seems highly questionable. People are being offered free alcohol in exchange for positive reviews, which makes the overall score very misleading. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Be careful when paying your bill and don’t be fooled by the rating. Very disappointing experience.

Really nice bar with a great atmosphere and very friendly staff. I highly recommend trying the cherry beer, it’s absolutely delicious. This is one of those places you just like. No reason, no logic, it’s just good, fun, accomodating. Few places does that. The food is okay, the service great, and prices lovely. This is probably a lower score, but I almost give it a 5/5 just because it has that oumpff some places has.

Ok place, nice selection of food, tapas, and dishes, sadly it seems to have a reduced selection of beers from when I visited last time and on days where there’s a lot of people, you can expect to wait and wait to order as it seems they are understaff.

Brought a family of 7 (ages 14 to 81) for dinner. Ordered a bunch of tapas to share, and we had zero leftovers! Food was very good, drinks were very good, service was very good! Great selection of beer. Fun atmosphere for all – lively on a summer evening, but not too loud. Parking was easy. Prices were reasonable. Thomas was a great server – he did a super job. This place is a winner! Thanks!!

Over all a good place to place a bet in roulette or slots. I like to go here and there. I wish they had Dragon links or Dragon cash slots or even Huff&More Puff and these are fun slots to play. I rate this place 4 stars because of the a slot selection. They used to have Tiki slot but they removed it. What a shame.

Love the whole concept of Pause&Play and in the end we all had such an amazing time in La Canada ⭐️ 7 Boys 5 Girls we laughed a lot and I love laughing 😆 who does not. BUT ! I went on time to join the gang but was not allowed in on my Irish Driving license that I have been driving on here for decades with my photo on it. I am obviously old enough for God sake 😉old enough to gamble lol 😂 the staff were just nope nope nope 👎 rules No one thinking outside the box. My friends were all about to leave and only I insisted they stay and I taxi back and get my passport . Another taxi back was long but I decided I did not want to ruin everyone evening. When I got back I went to the bar to get a drink I only drink cava or champagne 🍾 but guess what they have nothing with bubbles 👎🫣 so If I was to gamble and win and wanted to celebrate I could not have champagne 🤭🙁 The place is amazing the fun is what you make it there is no service to your table 😓 I had to ask for a tray to bring many drinks over to the table 🤯 Such a shame no one is running this better because it had such potential. Message to anyone with Capital open the same concept for all ages especially children and especially Teeagers you will thrive financially because it is ridiculously needed here. I know how well they work we use to own leisureplex Dublin.

Ewest

Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We had to wait more than 45 minutes for our food, which felt excessively long What was even more frustrating was that the staff seemed unable to answer basic questions about the menu. When we asked how certain dishes were prepared (for example, whether they were fried or not), the waitresses couldn’t tell us. They also weren’t able to confirm ingredients in some items, such as whether the croquettes contained cheese. The food itself was decent, but the long wait and lack of menu knowledge from the staff took away from the overall experience. There is definitely room for improvement in both service and communication.

Very disappointing experience. The prices were extremely high for what was served, and the portion sizes were far from accurate compared to what was presented. It honestly felt like a rip-off. For a restaurant in Marbella charging these kinds of prices, I expected much better transparency, quality, and fairness. I would not recommend this place if you expect good value for money.

I can’t understand some of the bad reviews regarding the staff/service. I think everybody was really nice and we didn’t have any problem at all. The location looks cozy, the toilets were clean and the food was good. I had 3 tapas. The chicken tacos were the most awesome dish, the goat cheese salad was okay – the cheese was too strong for my taste and the moroccan beef tasted great, sadly the pita bread wasn’t fresh and a little chewy already. But all in all it was good. The homemade brownie with ice-cream was fantastic.

We went here with our family of 5. They were awesome! Everyone at this restaurant was so helpful, fun, and welcoming. We felt like we were part of the family here. I’d highly recommend this restaurant!

This was such a surprise: a lot of british customers, but that felt so refreshing and nice, like a hidden place with an alternative atmosphere. We (the adults) had sizzling fajitas with chicken and beef and that was just great tasting (the photos should be more flattering as it was truly nice). A couple of beers and a cider was a perfect match. I really loved the live music also: a great singer performed 80ies hits and I could not sit still.

Wonderful place! I’ve been to Fluid a few times and, although some of the English tourists there can be quite rude, the excellent service more than makes up for it. The strawberry daks are amazing too 🙂 Thanks to all the staff, especially Alex, who was incredibly kind and helpful 😉 We will definitely be back!

Great place for no nonsense tasty food at good prices – friendly and helpful staff. Been here for breakfast (excellent), Sunday lunch (pretty good) and supper (burger – the best I’ve had in Spain) over the last two weeks. Highly recommended.

Third time here. The waiter is the best around. This place in my opinion is the best restaurant in Elviria. Staff is friendly, food is served without delay. The food is delicious and tasty. Music is good as well. I must say the Mexican burger was the best burger I ever tasted! Beautiful fajita’s. Happy hour between 5 to 7. Beer and wine €2.60. Relaxed environment, staff not pushy. It is a well balanced offering and a delight to visit. Rarely give 5 ⭐ reviews but this place deserves it.

Lemmon Marbella is a sports bar where the atmosphere and musical entertainment are central to the experience. While the venue features a professional DJ and a dedicated staff, the overall environment can feel unpredictable due to the behavior of the surrounding crowd.

The establishment faces challenges regarding consistent service and safety protocols. Visitors may encounter inconsistent treatment from personnel, making it a venue where the customer experience varies significantly depending on the night.

The bald Spanish waiter is very rude, I don’t recommend him. Totally embarrassing.

The customers were inappropriate and made me and my friends feel very uncomfortable. Some guy kept claiming he was the boss, saying he would give us anything we wanted, then said he would put us in his van and was being abusive and swearing – I asked the bar staff and he didn’t even work there. We were all very scared and felt threatened. The bar staff and bouncers were good about it saying they would keep an eye out, but they didn’t kick him out. Robert and Moses were extremely helpful however. They sectioned us off for a bit and the bouncer even walked us to the taxi rank so that we felt safe. Unfortunately, they can’t help how the customers act to people, but the bar itself was a great venue with a great DJ and staff. If people acted decent on a night out, then this bar would get a 5 star review, so it’s a shame the customers let them down.

This is not a gay friendly club, but everything that goes against it. First I asked for a song and the DJ told me I’d have to pay for it, then my girlfriend went to ask for a singer and the guy said he would only play after they had an intimate moment (you know what I mean), and took her by the arm trying to take her to a back room. When she told me I got mad and went to ask him what the *. Out of the blue 3 guys from security took me by the neck trying to black me out, they pulled me to a side corridor, they came over me, my girlfriend put herself in the middle, they also reached her on the ribs. It was AWFUL. If she wasn’t there between them and me who knows what they’d have done. Even after we explained the terrible situation to the man I suppose was the manager, the staff didn’t do anything for us. Totally unacceptable!!! Stay away from this place!

A lot of drunk high people looking for pushers!!! When it’s busy inside, it’s hell… They broke 5 drinks around me on the dance floor and my shoes became sticky BLACK. The outside terrace is nice. Prices are OK considering the area.

Amazing place with delicious nachos, a huge jumbo combo, and refreshing cocktails like the daiquiri! The music created such a great vibe and the staff were absolutely amazing — super friendly and attentive. Definitely a spot worth visiting again!

Absolutely disgraceful experience. We made a reservation to watch the World Cup final and even went to the venue one hour before kickoff to confirm everything was in order. They assured us our booking was fine. When we returned for the match, they suddenly demanded €70 per person to enter. This was never mentioned when we booked or when we confirmed our reservation. Completely dishonest and incredibly unprofessional. We wasted our time because they couldn’t be transparent with their customers. Hidden charges at the last minute are unacceptable. Avoid this place if you value honest service and don’t want unpleasant surprises. One of the worst customer experiences I’ve had in Marbella, and I will never return.

HAHAHAHAHAHA WHAT A SHOCKING SERVICE! We had a booking for 4 month ago. We went there 1 hour before our time to confirm the booking, no issue at all, the staff confirmed. The booking was confirmed. We went for a small walk before out scheduled booking reservation. When we came back they declined us. The staff was VEEEEERY bad, How they reacted, How they handled the situation destroyed our whole weekend. I have not tried the food, I hope it is better than their service, if not it is garbish. If you go there, have fun, don’t have any expectations. Honest review.

We were refused a table for drinks to watch the football by an incredibly disrespectful waiter. He refused to seat us on a free table because he claimed it was a table for 4 people when in reality it was a singular, small and square with four chairs around it. He said that if we were to sit there we had to make up for it the by paying €60 each because it was apparently “€30 per head” when I asked the waiter to explain it again to me he rolled his eyes and me and put his hand in my face and said that I was wasting his time. It’s a shame because the rest of the staff were lovely and very apologetic and embarrassed by this mans behaviour. They even tried to speak to him about it but by that point I wanted to leave because I didn’t feel comfortable being around someone like that.

Red Lion Banús, This bar and restaurant in the heart of Puerto Banús is a place for everyone, of all ages. It offers a relaxing and vibrant atmosphere with good food at reasonable prices. Just a few meters from the beach, it’s located in a very convenient spot. I had a club sandwich, my spouse had a pizza, and my friend had fish and chips. Great taste, great prices, and friendly staff. I highly recommend this cool spot to everyone.

Very disappointing experience. We came to watch the Atlético vs Barcelona match, which was clearly the game almost everyone in the bar wanted to see. The game was shown on every screen except one, so far so good. But the sound? Blasted at full volume for the one English Premier League game that barely anyone was watching. When we politely asked if they could turn down the English game or alternate the audio between the two matches, the only response we got was: “This is where the money is.” Incredibly rude and dismissive. The staff in general weren’t particularly friendly either. If you prioritize English football sound over what 90% of your guests actually want to hear, at least don’t be arrogant about it. Won’t be coming back.

What a joke. A confirmed booking apparently means nothing here. We arrived expecting to watch the World Cup final, only to be told they were “fully booked” and that we would have to pay €70 per person upfront to get in. If that was the deal, it should have been clearly stated from the beginning instead of wasting people’s time and ruining their plans. Terrible communication, terrible service, and zero respect for customers. This is exactly the kind of experience that gives Marbella a bad reputation. Avoid. 1 star is already too generous.

Frequently asked questions about sports bars in Marbella

    What is a sports bar?

A sports bar is a commercial establishment that features multiple television screens to broadcast live sporting events while serving food and drinks. These venues are designed to create a social atmosphere for fans to gather, often featuring themed decor and large-scale viewing areas. They range from small local pubs to large entertainment complexes with extensive dining menus.

What types of sports bars are there?

Sports bars vary significantly depending on their size, atmosphere, and the specific sports they prioritize. Some focus on a "pub" style with a heavy emphasis on beer and traditional snacks, while others operate as large-scale "sports arenas" with high-tech viewing technology and full-service kitchens. You may also find specialized venues that focus exclusively on specific leagues or high-energy environments with loud music and cheering crowds.

Is it worth going to sports bars alone?

Yes, sports bars are popular destinations for solo visitors who want to enjoy a game in a lively environment. Many people visit alone to catch a specific match, enjoy a meal, or simply soak up the atmosphere of a crowd. It is common to see individuals sitting at the bar counter where they can watch the screens clearly and interact with the staff.

How to open a sports bar?

Opening a sports bar requires a combination of securing a commercial lease, obtaining the necessary liquor and hospitality licenses, and designing a layout optimized for screen visibility. Success depends on selecting a high-traffic location, investing in high-quality broadcasting equipment, and developing a unique food and beverage menu. You must also consider the specific local regulations regarding noise levels and public gathering limits.

What are the benefits of a sports bar?

Sports bars provide a communal experience that allows fans to share the excitement of live sports with a crowd of like-minded people. They offer a convenient way to access multiple game feeds simultaneously while providing a variety of dining options. For many, the primary benefit is the atmosphere, which transforms a solitary viewing experience into a social event.
