We’re from the UK and have an apartment near Marbella. We drove down with our poodle, Ruby, after Xmas but knew we would have to leave her for a long weekend in January ’25 to attend a family event in Germany. We found Hogar Pets on the app Rover and having visited to introduce Ruby to Jose we were happy to leave her in his safe keeping for 5 days. We got videos and updates daily and it was clear that Ruby had settled in well and was enjoying her time with the other dogs under Jose’s care. My standard poodle seemed to enjoy staying at Hogarpets. When I took her back there, she stood happily waiting to enter and greet Jose and the few other dogs. Jose sent two or three videos per day of the dogs walking or lounging. Jose does not speak English, but his girlfriend speaks enough to communicate. I will use him in the future.

We had a fabulous 3 night stay at the Hard Rock Hotel Marbella. The staff on reception were always really helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Ignore the people complaining about having to pay a deposit when you arrive, this is only if you want to charge items to your room. If you are happy to pay for drinks etc as you have them, you do not need to pay anything extra.Our room was spotlessly clean and the complimentary cans of water were a welcome touch. The rooms are well soundproofed and we could not hear any of the outside noise.The two pool areas are fantastic, we spent each day around the main pool area (as the music is louder there and it has a more lively vibe). The staff around the pool were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. The rooftop pool is also lovely, it has a more chilled and laid back atmosphere.The buffet breakfast was excellent, there was so much choice and everything was fresh.We will definitely recommend this hotel and can’t wait for our next visit

We had a nice stay, but the highlight of our experience was definitely Bouchta, the chef at the dinner buffet. He was always smiling, genuinely kind and incredibly positive. You could see how much he cared about every guest, always doing his best to accommodate requests and going the extra mile to make everyone happy. His passion and warm attitude truly represent what hospitality is all about. Thank you, Bouchta!

I had an incredible experience at the Hard Rock Hotel event on the 14th of June with Loco Bongo. I went with my girls and we booked the VIP big roof sunbed next to the pool and from start to finish everything was amazing. We were warmly welcomed at the entrance by the manager and personally escorted to our area, which immediately set the tone for a luxury experience. The setup was beautiful, with bottle service presented in a stunning floating display that made everything feel extra special. The food and drinks were great nachos, burgers, fries, cocktails, beers, and mojitos, gin and tonic all constantly refreshed and served quickly by attentive staff. The entertainment was next level, with performers coming right to our sunbed, interacting with us, and even doing a mini performance just for us, which made the night feel so personal and unforgettable. Overall, the service was outstanding and the whole experience was luxury, fun, and pure vibes. Definitely one of the best nights I’ve had – I’ll 100% be back. 🫶🏾

I loved everything about this hotel. The staff were excellent, the balcony views were beautiful, and there was visible security throughout the property. However, I did notice sex workers in the lobby. They seemed to enter through the beach access with guests and would wait near the elevators. While this may not be entirely under the hotel’s control, it was something I noticed during my stay. The location is not that close to puerto banus as it seemed via the map, it as 15-20mins walking I also wasn’t a fan of the wristband system. I stayed for four nights, so I had to shower and tan with the wristband on the entire time. As a Muslim, it also made performing wudu (ablution) less convenient. Another issue was that the wristband didn’t always work on the first try. From both a security and convenience standpoint, I don’t think it’s the best solution. If someone were following you, needing to stop and repeatedly scan the wristband before the door unlocked could be frustrating and potentially unsafe. Traditional key cards would be a more reliable and efficient option.

I want to especially outline the restaurant service and stuff. They are absolutely amazing people! Always polite, respectful, friendly and helpful. They food is just amazing as well, Chef Bouchta is making stunning food, especially grilled sea bass and meant, he’s always helping with everything there and is being highly professional. I’m absolutely grateful for the experience at the restaurant every time I come for dinner or breakfast. Those amazing professionals just took my heart and soul!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!

What an amazing hotel! On arrival we were greeted by super friendly staff and were checked in by Tyler who was absolutely superb. He explained all of the amenities in the hotel and offered to book reservations for us for anything we wanted to do. The hotel itself is luxurious and classy, food and drinks all excellent. The pool is stunning and we thoroughly enjoyed the DJ’s playing around the pool in the afternoons. No sunbed wars, just very chilled and relaxed atmosphere. Rooms are beautiful with high quality bedding and toiletries, we had a fabulous view over both pools. Literally cannot fault any aspect of the hotel. The staff are all fun and friendly and cannot do enough for you, our room was cleaned every day by very smiley cleaners! We even had a bottle of bubbly waiting for us in our room as we were celebrating our anniversary. We were made to feel special for the whole visit and can’t recommend this amazing hotel enough. Special thanks to Tyler for the welcome he gave us and the top notch service. We will definitely be back. 11/10

We brought a very young duckling, approximately 2–4 days old, to this hospital after finding it in our neighborhood. The duckling had been with us for around 24 hours before we brought it in. During that time, it was active, warm, eating, drinking, and pooping normally. We kept it warm throughout the day and night and monitored it closely. It did not appear sick or weak to us. We left the duckling with the hospital on Monday, trusting that it would receive proper care. On Wednesday morning, we were told that the duckling had already died on Tuesday, supposedly because it “didn’t want to eat.” This explanation was very difficult for us to understand, because the duckling had been eating and drinking well with us before we handed it over. We understand that very young ducklings can be fragile and can sometimes decline quickly. However, based on our experience with the duckling, the explanation we received felt incomplete and unsatisfactory. We trusted this hospital with a vulnerable animal that seemed stable when we left it, and we are deeply upset by the outcome and probably negligence. Unfortunately, we would not trust this veterinary hospital with another duckling in the future.

Excellent veterinary care. The doctors are equipped with very thorough and helpful staff, and the follow-up care is also completely genuine and takes great measures to ensure the well-being of your pets. We have had 2 of our cats undergo operations, one for a sterilization operation, and the other kitten had eaten a string. We had the pleasure of working directly with Sergio, but the team took time to care for them and left us completely at ease. They are now healed and are happy! I highly recommend GreenVet Animal Hospital. *adding a Pic of them in their recovery suits after the first checkup!

Changed from another vet to GreenVet and Im very happy! They treat my girls really well. One has been sterilized and one they removed a lump. Very attentive, answer on WhatsApp easilly. Recommend 100%

This vet office is wonderful. We have had several dogs taken care of by their professionals. They were able to find the problems that our Golden Retriever had within a couple of months. He has lots of different issues that make his life uncomfortable. They solved the problem and were able to give him a good life. I recommend them wholeheartedly. They also speak English. They are the only vet we will continue to use in the area.

We took our dear baby this morning to this clinic to remove the fish hook she swallowed at the beach. The vets were all very cooperative, quick and attentive. Within the first 5 mins of our arrival, we had the xray done and knew exactly what the procedure is going to be. We also appreciated excellent English. We know we will come back if needed! The best vet ever! Our cat had been scratching constantly and developed wounds all around his neck. We went to several other veterinarians with no improvement, but when we brought him to Greenvet everything changed. Right away, they gently fitted him with a collar (something other vets told us wasn’t possible—but it was). They started treatment immediately, and within a short time he began to heal. Just a couple of weeks later, he’s almost completely fine and has stopped scratching altogether. They identified the issue, explained everything clearly, and charged a very reasonable price. We couldn’t be happier!

We were very happy with all the process, Transport of our 3 Cats to Dubai from Mallorca Spain. Very friendly people working there, good communication, they helped us with every question that we had. Amazing vet clinic and great professionals. My cat has been their patient for a little over a year and I must say, we have been a bit unlucky in that time. Many more vet visits than I would have hoped for, including an emergency after hours one. All the vets, nurses and reception staff have been incredible but I want to particularly highlight Alfredo as genuinely loving vet. His manners and ways of working with my cat – who is terrified of going to the vet, are so gentle and respectful. It’s incredibly reassuring. On top of that, he diagnosed him accurately based on a collection of weird symptoms and experiences even though in the almost 4 years I’ve been my cat’s custodian no other vet had been able to figure out what was going on with his health. I recommend them to all cat parents

I am so grateful for this veterinary practice. My dog always has a very positive experience here and shows absolutely no fear of visiting the vet, which means a lot to me. The whole team is extremely well-organized, always reachable when needed, and incredibly friendly. You can truly feel that they are doing this not just for the money, but because they genuinely care about the animals. They all have a big heart for animals, and I really appreciate the warmth and professionalism they show every single time.

If you’re questioning if you should bring your pet here (either for an annual exam, or for a surgery), take this as a sign to do it. The team is absolutely amazing, you can see that they love what they do. All my long questions were answered in details and both of my pets were treated greatly! One of them had a surgery which went well and I felt like she was in the best hands. The doctors are also very kind and friendly. They helped us with documents traveling back to another country the last minute. Even though they were fully booked and then about to close, they squeezed us in. My point is that, besides them being absolutely awesome vets, they’re also always there to help. Highly recommend it to everyone!

A wonderful holiday at this gorgeous hotel. We had a large beautiful suite (V31) in a traditional Spanish style with all the mod cons which was on the top floor of this block in a quiet location but within easy reach of both the vibrant Plaza with its wide range of excellent restaurants that came alive at night and the relaxing beach area with its beach club facilities pool and range of restaurants|We particularly liked the restaurant offering at the beach. Having a small version of the main Nobu restaurant there in a lovely outdoor setting shaded from the sun by a pergola of bio diverse plants with an integrated mist system to keep us cool when required made for a very special experience. |I have had the opportunity to stay at some of the best hotel chains in the world including the One and Only, Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons, Oberoi Eden Rock etc and this hotel without a doubt had the best breakfast offering I have ever experienced. It was unbelievable and included and if you have kids it included a chocolate fountain!|The staff at the hotel went out of their way to make the holiday enjoyable and that included everyone from the restaurant and spa staff to the reception and concierge staff. We even liked the thoughtful touch of a little something left for my wife on her birthday even though we had not told them about it. |Very much look forward to coming back soon.

Let me start this with saying this is my first time leaving a bad review, as usually, I am very understandable. Very disappointing experience. At $1700 per night per room, the quality felt more like a $100-a-night hotel. The room was in poor condition, the bathrooms had mold, water in the shower would not drain and the overall property felt old and extremely poorly maintained. The swimming pool was dirty, and the beach setup was another huge disappointment, not something I would expect at a five star resort. After seeing the condition of the hotel, we decided to cut our vacation short and leave early.This hotel is nowhere near worth the price.

Beautiful resort with fantastic service but very disappointed that the front pool by the beach now has a minimum spend of €200 per bed, per day for residents!! Only free access to the two remaining pools and not enough beds for the whole resort and the Airbnb’s!!||||Never stayed in such a premium hotel where you have a minimum spend to use their main pool and hardly any beds if you do want to pay!||||Fully understand if people want to come that aren’t staying they must pay, unfortunately not catering for families any more and after many happy years we won’t be coming again!

Puente Romano is one of my favourite hotels I’ve ever stayed in, and one I still think about long after leaving.||The breakfasts are incredible—especially at La Petite Maison, where you can enjoy amazing food with beautiful sea views. The whole hotel is surrounded by lush greenery, so it feels more like staying in tropical gardens than in the middle of Marbella.||I also love that some of Marbella’s best restaurants are right here in the hotel, so every evening can be a completely different experience. Whether you feel like relaxing at the spa, working out in the gym, or playing tennis or padel, there’s always something to do.||What really makes it all come together is the fantastic service. Everyone is so welcoming and attentive, making every stay feel effortless and special.||I can’t recommend Puente Romano enough—it’s a place I’ll happily return to again and again.

Puente Romano is the place to be in Marbella when you are looking to be in the heart of the buzz. With it’s spacious garden and large rooms, this resort makes you feel intimate as though you live in an traditional luxurious Andalusian village. The bedrooms are renovated and have very comfortable facilities. The pools are themed (Coya, Nobu pool and more) There is wonderful staff that is always handy to help. The resort has the coolest gym and spa from six senses. The tennis club and kids club is their unique value too! Overall a memorable stay to have a staycation or discover Marbella.

I was impressed by this amazing Hotel and this concept. After working so hard tge last weeks, I needed hideaway for me. And I find it, right when I entered the Hotel. Beautiful Design, friendly stuff, exquisite Restaurants amd a stylish club. It was the opening from Coya Suite, which is a incredible concept. I will come for sure again.

This is one of the BEST places my dog Charlie has been to because the owner / manager is so kind, and the groomer did the most exquisite cut and blow dry on Charlie. I’ve never seen him look so good!!!! And after, they let me choose a perfume to spray Charlie, and days after, he STILL smells delicious! Also, you get free parking at El Corte Ingles if you drop your dog off at that location. Highly recommended!

I’m absolutely in love with the grooming result! This is honestly the best Pomeranian haircut I’ve ever seen. The cut is perfectly shaped, fluffy, and beautifully balanced — my dog looks adorable. The staff is incredibly kind and sweet, and the atmosphere is so welcoming. And the perfume they use for the dogs smells amazing — such a luxurious final touch! I’m beyond impressed and so happy. Premier Pet Travel have been fantastic in flying our dog from Spain to the UK last week. Every question or odd message sent leading up to the day of flight was answered quickly and with all the information you would need. Stacey was a god send in what will always be a stressful process. She easily sets your mind at ease. Our dog is an anxious one to start with and Premier Pet Travel has experience in it all. I was kept up to date throughout our dogs journey with msgs and photos. Their experience with customs requirements for Spain and UK is invaluable. Our dog was cleared at Heathrow and delivered to us in London by their friendly UK contacts. We found a kitten on the road while on holiday in Malaga and soon fell in love! We decided we would love to adopt him. We found an amazing charity ‘city cats Malaga’, they supported and helped us with a microchip, passport and any injections he required. They ensured he had a safe place to stay until he was old enough to receive the correct jags to come to Scotland to his forever home. We soon found out it was very difficult to transport a cat from any country into the UK. We were very worried we would not be able to have him home! This was until we found ‘premier pet travel’. We could not have asked for a better experience! They supported us from the beginning, offering us many options on how to transport him. We chose to have him transported via car from Malaga to Carlise. Stacey ensured the entire process pre travel was smooth, answering any questions we had. Once it was time to begin the road trip,we felt very comfortable knowing our cat was safe! Lucy and James sent us constant updates- videos and pictures and messages letting us know where they are! Both my friends and vet had highly recommended paraiso and this is how I got to know them. My concern was finding the best way of dealing with my loss of a beloved pet and to make sure he was handled with care. After talking to Mirian I was put at ease and assured that my cat was with the most caring professionals who take every animal to heart. What is more when I was choosing an urn, I asked for something more special for which I could best remember my cat with, Mirian guided me and helped me to select a perfect memory gift. It was arranged for a private cremation of my late dog at this establishment. I arrived on the day to say my final goodbye to him, and was led through a tiny waiting room with a sofa. That had placed his body on a metal trolly next to what looked like a very old style cremation pot ( not a steel chamber with controls on the outside like you see in similar services. I was asked to wait not in the attached waiting room, but taken away from the building to a covered seated area facing an enclosed pen. Only 1 hour later ( which in hindsight I found quick) they told me that the cremation was done and the ashes were waiting for me , so took me to that main office where a man was asking them and myself the details of my dog and even getting the breed and date wrong ( which I now find very strange, for this paperwork being filled out while I was present and not already completed. I was handed my dogs ashes 1hour after this cremation (supposedly began) and have now been informed for the size of my dog, it would take 2-3 hours!. Also the ‘furnace’ and the room my dogs body was next to was completely cold and not even on. This has only come to my recognition after 5 years due to evaluating what happened on the day and being informed recently that a dog of a Labrador size ( has my dog was) could never be cremated so quickly within an hour and 15 minutes, especially with a cremation furnace off, cold and not at the heat it would need to be prior to a dog entering it. I am now in the process of getting other guidance regarding my situation which puts obvious doubts in my mind if one, my dog was cremated has requested individually, and if at all due to the process being so quick (taking just over an hour) while I waited and 2 – due to this time factor ( I have been informed it takes 2-3 hours to cremate my size of dog) if the grey ground down material I was handed in a bag and wooden case are even my dogs ashes! Due to the process being out of the ordinary ‘too quick’ for it to happen. So was my dog just disposed of or cremated later with others.
