We’re from the UK and have an apartment near Marbella. We drove down with our poodle, Ruby, after Xmas but knew we would have to leave her for a long weekend in January ’25 to attend a family event in Germany. We found Hogar Pets on the app Rover and having visited to introduce Ruby to Jose we were happy to leave her in his safe keeping for 5 days. We got videos and updates daily and it was clear that Ruby had settled in well and was enjoying her time with the other dogs under Jose’s care. My standard poodle seemed to enjoy staying at Hogarpets. When I took her back there, she stood happily waiting to enter and greet Jose and the few other dogs. Jose sent two or three videos per day of the dogs walking or lounging. Jose does not speak English, but his girlfriend speaks enough to communicate. I will use him in the future.

Both my friends and vet had highly recommended paraiso and this is how I got to know them. My concern was finding the best way of dealing with my loss of a beloved pet and to make sure he was handled with care. After talking to Mirian I was put at ease and assured that my cat was with the most caring professionals who take every animal to heart. What is more when I was choosing an urn, I asked for something more special for which I could best remember my cat with, Mirian guided me and helped me to select a perfect memory gift. After having a horrible experience with a vet and given no information I got in touch directly and spoke with mirian, she was lovely and gave me comfort and information and clear communication, despite the horrible circumstances I am very happy with the service and got to chose a lovely little urn for my precious Betty, they even engraved it with her name and added her picture ❤️ I would recommend

It was arranged for a private cremation of my late dog at this establishment. I arrived on the day to say my final goodbye to him, and was led through a tiny waiting room with a sofa. That had placed his body on a metal trolly next to what looked like a very old style cremation pot ( not a steel chamber with controls on the outside like you see in similar services. I was asked to wait not in the attached waiting room, but taken away from the building to a covered seated area facing an enclosed pen. Only 1 hour later ( which in hindsight I found quick) they told me that the cremation was done and the ashes were waiting for me , so took me to that main office where a man was asking them and myself the details of my dog and even getting the breed and date wrong ( which I now find very strange, for this paperwork being filled out while I was present and not already completed. I was handed my dogs ashes 1hour after this cremation (supposedly began) and have now been informed for the size of my dog, it would take 2-3 hours!. Also the ‘furnace’ and the room my dogs body was next to was completely cold and not even on. This has only come to my recognition after 5 years due to evaluating what happened on the day and being informed recently that a dog of a Labrador size ( has my dog was) could never be cremated so quickly within an hour and 15 minutes, especially with a cremation furnace off, cold and not at the heat it would need to be prior to a dog entering it. I am now in the process of getting other guidance regarding my situation which puts obvious doubts in my mind if one, my dog was cremated has requested individually, and if at all due to the process being so quick (taking just over an hour) while I waited and 2 – due to this time factor ( I have been informed it takes 2-3 hours to cremate my size of dog) if the grey ground down material I was handed in a bag and wooden case are even my dogs ashes! Due to the process being out of the ordinary ‘too quick’ for it to happen. So was my dog just disposed of or cremated later with others.

What a saviour! Pablo went above and beyond to ensure my chihuahua was looked after pre-surgery, during and post-surgery. I took my 6-month-old kitten, Toffee, to be spayed last week, and the experience was seamless from start to finish. ​As a worried pet owner, I really appreciated how Pablo took the time to explain everything beforehand and truly put my mind at ease. Even after the surgery, he checked in to see how her recovery was going. ​Toffee is now 8 days post-op and is doing brilliantly—back to her usual mischievous, loving self! My experience with the Marbella Cemetery Park has been deeply disappointing and outrageous. Following an exhumation carried out in the family pantheon by the cemetery’s own staff, we were informed later—when the funeral home’s marble worker requested the marble headstone they had removed—that it had disappeared. The headstone was of large dimensions (2.56 m long by 0.70 m wide) and included a crucifix. It is incomprehensible that an item of such size could be “lost” without anyone taking responsibility or offering an adequate solution. In addition to the emotional impact on the family, we are forced to incur a significant new expense (2,269.96 euros) to replace something that was under their custody. The lack of control, professionalism, and sensitivity in such a delicate situation is unacceptable. We expected respectful treatment and responsible management, but the reality has been quite the opposite. This has forced us to file a theft report with the National Police and a Claim for Patrimonial Liability with the Marbella City Council.Mi experiencia con el Parque Cementerio de Marbella ha sido profundamente decepcionante e indignante. Tras una exhumación realizada en el panteón familiar por el propio personal del cementerio. Tras la exhumación se nos informo posteriormente cuando el marmolista de la funeraria pidió la lapida de mármol que habían quitado -de grandes dimensiones (2,56 m de largo por 0,70 m de ancho) e incluyendo un crucifijo- había desaparecido y que no podían volver a colocarla. Resulta incomprensible que un elemento de tal tamaño pueda “extraviarse” sin que nadie asuma responsabilidades ni ofrezca una solución adecuada. Además del impacto emocional que supone para la familia, nos vemos obligados a asumir un nuevo gasto económico considerable (2.269,96 €uros), para reponer algo que estaba bajo su custodia. La falta de control, de profesionalidad y de sensibilidad en una situación tan delicada es inaceptable. Esperábamos un trato respetuoso y una gestión responsable, pero la realidad ha sido todo lo contrario.
