Best ev charging stations in Marbella: find options near you

The Tesla supercharging station is good, but the fact that it’s located within the premises of a hotel makes it less convenient. You have only 30 minutes to charge and then you have to walk to the hotel reception to have you Parking ticket annulled, but only the first 40 minutes are free. So it’s a but more head ache then in easy accesible charging station. But since it’s the only Tesla super charger in Marbella, unfortunately i have no other option.

4 tesla superchargers accessible from the hotel carpark (steep right turn down the slope after you’ve taken a ticket and gone past the barrier). Once charging you need to go to the hotel reception to get a ticket that gives you 40 mins free parking while charging. Charging itself was easy to use from the Tesla app. Still wish you didn’t need apps to charge though!

My recent experience at a Tesla charging station was quite disappointing. Firstly, there were very few Tesla charging stations available, and to make matters worse, vehicles from other brands were also using them. The parking was private and extremely cramped.We left our vehicle to charge, with an estimated 35 minutes to completion. We decided to head to a nearby beach, but soon after arriving, we received a notification that the charging had stopped due to an error, leaving the battery at just 40%, with only 18kWh charged. We had to return and recharge the remaining battery.To top it off, we paid €6.15 for the parking, which for just an hour, ended up costing almost as much as the electric charging. This made little sense to me, and overall, it was a highly frustrating experience.

Great charger 250kw, there’s only 4 spots so it can get busy. It is pay to park but you get 40 mins free if you go to hotel reception. It’s very well located. And the spots are huge!

Horrible experience. I sincerely advice tesla to teplace the station. It is placed in the basement of Hotel Alanda. If you recharge your batteries for 10 euros you have to pay a parking for 5 euros. For this operation you have to drive to the hotel reception where the employee is incapable to speak english and to explain to you the payment procedure excepting the fact that his approach is totally unprofessional. Therefore, avoid this Tesla station.

The Tesla Supercharger station was incredibly convenient and easy to locate. The setup is straightforward, and getting started was hassle-free. Charging was impressively fast, allowing me to get back on the road quickly. It’s a reliable and efficient option for Tesla drivers. Highly recommend this Supercharger location for a smooth charging experience!

You have to go to the hotel to get 40 mins free parking and in case you spend more then 40 mins you will have to pay a lot for the parking. For an hour it could be approx. 15 eur and with the discount you will pay at around 3-4€ so better not to charge more then 40 mins

They wouldn’t help by even granting a charging token which they had. I told them I own 3 Porsches and also work in VW Group AG. I offered payment and simply had no interest in helping. Maybe because it was a Mercedes!

Don’t buy electric cars! Stop with this nonsense. Never again

The security guard doesn’t event let you into the parking lot if your are not a Porsche client. Worthless charger

This charges are 320 kW, but after starting with 160-170 kW, they drop the power to 20-30 kW. And this is a persistent problem with them.
