One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to with my girlfriends! The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the food was absolutely amazing. We had the best paella in Marbella full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Everything we ordered was delicious, from the drinks to the desserts and even the shots.

I just had lunch at Dolce Vita and honestly, it was such a good experience. We started with a salad with lettuce, berries, and cheese that was surprisingly good—really fresh and nicely balanced. Then we had the parmigiana, which was excellent, proper comfort food and full of flavor. Also worth mentioning: the walnut and raisin bread, which was something different and really, really good. For the mains, we went for three different paellas. The chicken one was solid and tasty, the black rice had a deeper, more intense flavor, and the one with octopus and artichokes was probably my favorite—just a bit more special and very well done. All of them had a great socarrat, which always makes a difference. Overall, everything we tried was on point. You can tell there’s care in the cooking. Definitely a place I’d come back to.

Tons of Spanish and locals eating here. Chaotic and busy, you gotta love that – we didn’t mind. The waiter told us Paella would take 1 hour, considering how busy it was we thought it was acceptable. We killed time by swimming and he even came to get us when it was ready, very attentive!

Amazing service and food here. We came here for my best friends hen do and they gave us a lovely bottle of alcohol to have shots on the house which was so sweet. Bread and chips were 10/10! Would definitely recommend!! Gracias!

Very good food and service! We stayed nearby and we saw that it is highly rated on Google so came here to eat. The food was as good as advertised. All of the fried seafood was done exceptionally well. The batter was light and the seafood fresh. Would definitely recommend getting the fried seafood platter. The paella is really good as well and the portion size was humongous. It fed the 4 of us well. Definitely do order as it’s value for money. The 12 piece croquettes is good as well. I loved the variety and freshness. Overall a perfect experience.

Sebastiane Pereiro

The restaurant is good and the food is delicious, but check your receipts. We didn’t ask for bread and butter, but they brought it to us and charged us for it. THE BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT WAS THE YOUNG WAITER. HE WAS RUDE. HE KNOCKED MY CHAIR OVER THREE TIMES. I ALMOST FELL, BUT HE DIDN’T APOLOGISE ONCE. ONLY FOR THIS, YOU COULD REMOVE ALL THE STARS FROM THE RESTAURANT, BUT THAT WOULD BE UNFAIR TO THE OTHER EMPLOYEES, SO I’M GIVING ONE STAR LESS FOR THIS RUDE WAITER. We spent €185. For that kind of money, you can be more respectful to your customers!

What can I say. If you don‘t go here, there is little space for the others – and me😜 It is just fantastic here. If you enjoy a nice friendly and very professional service with a warm host, this is the place to be. If you value fresh good food where everybody finds his/her highlight then this place is a must. Great food and very good wine list. And if you want to eat at one of the greatest spot along the Costa del sol then don‘t miss it and book in advance as this place is rare and popular!

What an amazing restaurant. The staff, service and setting is incredible! The food was outstanding. If you’re coming to Marbella and you’re looking for a fantastic restaurant, make a reservation here! Front of house manager, forgot his name, sorry. What a great guy. We’re back in July for another week and have already booked it for a Birthday celebration. Thank you Luuma!

Fabulous food with great service. Party of 22 for dinner, easily accommodated. Staff were great and the gent on front of house had prepared two tables – inside and outside as the weather was turning cool. The two outstanding dishes were the burger and the rack of ribs, but am the food was great.

Beautiful setting and relaxed atmosphere at The Beach House Marbella 🌊 I had the chicken burger with sweet potato fries and it was genuinely very good — flavorful, well cooked, and generous. The quality of the ingredients really comes through. Service was friendly and the overall vibe is great for a beachside lunch or dinner. However, be careful with the extras. The bread and olives served at the beginning are added to the bill without clearly informing you, and the tip is automatically included as an additional line at the end. That’s not something I particularly appreciate — transparency would definitely improve the experience. Overall, good food and a lovely location, just make sure to check your bill.

We had the most wonderful time here with our twins. The atmosphere, food, and customer service were all absolutely outstanding. I could write so much more, but the best way to sum up our experience is simply this: this is our favourite restaurant in Marbella! We loved every moment and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you to the entire team for making us feel so welcome. We will definitely be back again very soon. Warm regards, Ash, Steve & Family

Nice place but so ridiculously overpriced. They advertise tacos for 22.50 only to give you one singular taco (picture shown). We got a burger, wasnt asked how it should be cooked and came out well done. I was asked 3 separate occasions if i was done with my food/drink while there was clearly food/drink left over. I was not impressed. In and out in an hour i didnt want to be there

Hanson's Kitchen

This place is outstanding in every way — the entertainment, the beachfront location, the incredible food, and above all, the staff who treat you like family. It truly checks all the boxes! The owner, Guy, sets the tone. He greets every table personally, remembers the locals by name, and even works alongside the staff taking orders and delivering food. It’s really amazing to see. As for the food — absolutely delicious. We tried dishes from the daily specials, the regular menu, and the dessert menu over three visits, and every time we were blown away. Not a single disappointment!

We love the Beach House, it’s our favourite restaurant in the area and any time we have brought friends new to the area there, turns out it always their favourite too, The food is fab (our favourite dishes are the ribs, tempura of prawns, Sunday roasts….and the knickerbocker glory!). The service is really good, really efficient and friendly. We love the decor, the setting is stunning and the atmosphere is always great, but our absolute favourite is the Sunday lunch with the incredible entertainment line up and fun each week. The team is always helpful and friendly at the Beach House and Natalie especially does such a great job and looks after us so well

The setting is honestly beautiful. Right by the beach with a calm and relaxed atmosphere that instantly puts you in holiday mode. The view alone makes it worth coming, especially if you just want to sit back, enjoy the sun and let the kids play. The water is shallow and really safe for children so it’s a lovely spot for families. The vibe here is chilled and welcoming. There’s something about the sound of the sea and the way the tables are laid out that makes you feel like you can stay for hours. It’s not fancy or overly polished but it has a casual charm that works. Now about the food. It was just okay. Nothing really stood out and I wouldn’t come here just for the meal. Some dishes looked better than they tasted. That said, the service was decent and everyone was friendly enough. They were patient with the kids and didn’t rush us, which was appreciated. All in all, it’s not somewhere I’d rave about for the food but it’s definitely a nice place to relax, have a drink, and enjoy the beach. Perfect for a laid-back afternoon with the family in a beautiful spot.

It was my first time visiting Nosso, and I was truly impressed by the level of service and the way the staff take care of their guests. I would especially like to thank Dani, whose kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism made our experience even more enjoyable. You can really feel the attention to detail here. From serving water directly on the beach to taking care of every aspect of the guest experience, everything is done with genuine care. They even serve the water in glasses and ask whether you would like lemon—it’s these thoughtful little touches that make all the difference. The food was absolutely delicious, the beach was spotless with beautiful white sand, and I also loved the stylish design, the atmosphere, and the crowd. Everything about this place creates a relaxed yet sophisticated vibe. Nosso has definitely become one of my favorite beach clubs, and I will happily recommend it to all of my friends. Very disappointing experience at Nosso Marbella. We had a very unpleasant situation regarding the bill. The price was increased twice, without any clear explanation as to why. When we asked to see the supporting receipts/invoices, they refused to show all of them, despite the fact that several invoices had apparently been issued with increase after increase. Instead of calmly explaining the charges and resolving the matter professionally, the situation escalated unnecessarily. Security was called, and we felt pressured and prevented from simply leaving while the dispute was ongoing – and thus forced to pay under pressure. The behaviour was, in my opinion, completely unacceptable for a venue that presents itself as high-end. A restaurant should be transparent with its billing, especially when prices are changed multiple times. Unfortunately, this experience left a very bad impression, and I would not recommend Nosso based on how this was handled.

I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The food was of very poor quality, the dishes did not seem fresh, and they were definitely not worth the prices charged. What was even more disappointing was how the staff handled the situation. I politely informed the waiters that the food was not acceptable, but they showed complete indifference. They made no effort to resolve the issue, did not apologize, and simply walked away from our table smiling, which made us feel that our concerns did not matter at all. One final piece of advice: avoid ordering the chicken burger. It was by far the biggest disappointment of the meal. Honestly, the chicken burger from McDonald’s is at least ten times better. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience due to both the poor quality of the food and the lack of professionalism from the staff. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant, and I certainly will not be returning.

Booked a VIP sunbed for €200. Service was fine, but when it came to asking for a table for lunch (2 people), we were turned away. We counted 10 empty tables at which were not occupied for at least 30 minutes after requesting. Decided to go to Dune beach instead, far better service.

Very busy and full of tourist, specially foreign tourists. The prices are a bit high for Andalucía, and the staff is a bit chaotic, however the food was great. The salmorejo was amazing, the ensaladilla rusa ( Russian salad) was so good too, the boquerones al lemon ( lemon fried anchovies) were outstanding, however do yourself a favour and don’t order the croquetas, they were too thick and not as silky as they should.

A tremendous little bar/cafe. Set in one of the nicest corners of the old town. Authentic Tapas cooked freshly as you order. Friendly and accommodating staff. Title: Hidden Gem in Marbella’s Old Town Review: I was looking to have an authentic Andalusian dinner and found it at Estrecho Marbella 1954. Tucked away in a narrow side alley off the beaten path, it’s easy to miss — but worth seeking out. The salmorejo was rich and smooth, the Russian salad fresh, the sardines fried to perfection, and the Padrón peppers full of flavor. The service was warm, and the whole place had a genuine local feel. Five stars.

The bone marrow topped with tuna tartare was a standout—rich, buttery, and elevated by the freshness and precision of the tuna. It’s the kind of dish you remember long after the meal. The ceasar brioche was done beautifully, far from ordinary, and clearly made with care. The foie gras was exactly what you hope for: silky, decadent, and expertly prepared. And the snails were equally impressive, full of flavor and executed with confidence. What truly elevated the experience, however, was the service. John, our waiter, was outstanding—attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. He guided us through the menu with ease and made the entire evening feel effortless. A place that gets both the food and the hospitality right. Highly recommended.

Superb experience at this restaurant! Food was excellent! We ordered the tuna tartar, which was super tasty, followed by the cachopo. I was surprised by the presentation of the cachopo. They finish the dish in front of you, adding the sauce on top of the steak in front of you at the table. I had never seen this. The service and the atmophere was also very good. Maybe a bit pricy, but definitely worthy.

A hidden gem in a heart of Marbella The food is beyond good: its a gastro journey that we have enjoyed so much and it is not the first and not the last time that we are returning:) Service is very friendly and hospitable especially John. 10/10

Very nice restaurant, we were there early but already every table was booked. We were given a table because we indicated we would not stay long. The service and the food was very good. We could recommend the russian salad, the crispy pork and the tuna tartare on bone marrow. The last one is a supprising combination, very tasty and original. You need to book in advance!

Opposite the market gives hope that it caters for residents rather than tourists. Guy at the door spoke minimal english so that sealed it for me – I was travelling solo and wanted more traditional food. Highly recommended. Quick, informal, very tasty, reasonable price and felt like I was in a local – just could only watch and not join in conversations. Perfect genuine Southern Spain experience. Respect it and don’t try to change it!

Fantastic place to have a few drinks with friends. Very friendly staff. We didn’t eat so I could rate the food. I recommend the upper floor. It is very popular so you better go early. There is a dancing floor at the top with its own bar.

Nikos Pentaris

The seafood paella at Timonel was simply outstanding and one of the best we’ve had in Spain. The rice was packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and infused with a rich seafood broth that brought the entire dish together. Every bite showcased the freshness and quality of the ingredients, from the succulent prawns and mussels to the tender squid. What makes Timonel special is the attention to detail. You can tell they respect both the traditional recipe and the quality of the produce they use, resulting in a paella that feels authentic while still being memorable. The service was equally excellent—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout the meal. Combined with the beautiful presentation and relaxed atmosphere, it made for a fantastic dining experience. If you’re in Marbella and craving an exceptional seafood paella, Timonel should be at the top of your list.

We were driving through town and wanted paella. Quick search brought us here. Restaurant is gorgeous. Super cozy, but perfect for families as well. The food was so delicious, forgot to take pictures! Our white wine was amazing. Service the best. Wish we didn’t live on the other side of the planet- this would be our new favorite! 🇪🇸

This delightful restaurant lived up to its reviews…a well recommended place to visit. The food was delicious and the T-Bone steak was cooked to perfection…so tender with tasty additions like grilled vegetables, uniquely cut fries and a tasty peppercorn sauce. One of the best steaks I ever tasted! My wife had the pork and caramelised apple which she said was perfecto! For dessert we shared the brownie, which we both thought was a great finish to our meal.

My experience could be a bit different as I came here in a large group for an event where the entire restaurant was booked off for us. The appetizers were nice but there seemed to be a mixup for those with dietary restrictions as to what was actually inside the dishes. When we asked for clarification, the staff was rather rude and annoyed that we even asked. There were these tartlet bites that were served and we suspected that there was fish inside it. When asked, the waiter just responded saying there is only “Russian salad” inside it… It was rather unfortunate that a handful of vegetarian and vegan diners ended up eating things outside their diet without their knowledge. As the group was rather large, some people were left without a main course for an hour while others were already onto the dessert. We tried to grab the attention of the waiter and he reassured us the food was coming, after the third time, it was clear it probably slipped his mind that he didn’t inform the chef about the orders…

Sometimes the greatest pleasure is discovering a “down-to-earth” restaurant that delivers far more than you expect for the price. This place does exactly that. I started with their take on pil-pil, and it was nothing like the usual version — bold, original, and absolutely fantastic. For the main course, I had the ribs, which were quite simply the best I’ve eaten in Spain in several years. The service deserves special mention: warm, professional, and genuinely knowledgeable. The staff can explain the wine list with confidence and enthusiasm, which really elevates the overall experience. If I had to mention one small drawback, it would be the lighting. As is often the case in Spain, it’s a bit too bright for a truly romantic evening. That said, it’s an easy fix. Highly recommended.

We wandered in here when we were just aimlessly walking around. It looked like a nice place to sit outside. I ordered a Spicy Margarita Cocktail which I enjoyed very much. Great service, they’re so attentive and check up on whether you’re enjoying the drink, which is nice. I also had a couple of Beers. My daughter ordered a Mojito Mocktail, and she must’ve enjoyed it as she suggested visiting the same place the next day for the same drink. This time I ordered the normal Mojito and again had a few beers. They did recognise me and remember what I’d ordered the day before! I was tempted to try the food, the menu looked good, but my daughter wasn’t hungry so we never got round to it.

Lovely vegan poke bowl with tofu – wasn’t marked as vegan on menu but I asked for confirmation! We also got lovely cocktails at a reasonable price ( aperol spritz and espresso martini)! Waiter was lovely also! Could be better marking allergens on the menu however.

Pretty much spectacular taste, presentation and service. Greeted by an amazing waiter that had time to crack a small joke, served professionally and discreet. Food choice is perfect, not too much but great variety. Went for baked lamb with sliced potatoes and veggies. All delicious, great atmosphere and design inside with beach vibes. All in all great meal and well worth it, around 80 euro for 3 people with coffee at the end (no dessert).

The blackest Black Paella we’ve ever tried — and it was absolutely delicious! A perfect balance of soft and crunchy textures. The rest of the dishes were also great. Nice spanish restaurant near the sea. We tried their paella, steak and burger. Food is delicious, but nothing special. Service was below average, waiters don’t really pay attention to customers, they rather converse with each other. Waiting time is also quite long, took them 40-60 minutes to bring our food. Otherwise nice place, but there are much better ones in the area on similar price

Ordered a mojito and honestly it was terrible, it’s hard to go wrong with a mojito… I don’t know what happened as I had been to this place many times in the past and it used to have great cocktails the best in the port even just not the case now!! (The 3 stars are just because I’m hoping it was someone learning that made the drink… And because of my previous experiences) ps I did let them know and it didn’t improve

Frequently asked questions about wine bars in Marbella

How much do wine bars cost?

The price of a glass of wine at a wine bar depends on the variety of the wine, the establishment's location, and the specific region of origin. In areas like Marbella, prices can vary from affordable house wines to premium selections, often influenced by whether you are ordering a standard pour or a specialty vintage.

What is a wine bar and do bars serve wine?

A wine bar is a venue specifically focused on the service and appreciation of wine, though many standard bars also serve wine as part of their regular beverage menu. While a general bar may offer a broader selection of spirits and beers, a dedicated wine bar typically provides a more curated list, specialized glassware, and a focused atmosphere for wine tasting.

How to choose wine for beginners?

Beginners should start by choosing wines with approachable flavor profiles, such as fruity reds or crisp, refreshing whites. It is helpful to look for wines from well-known regions and consider personal preferences regarding sweetness, acidity, and body before trying more complex varieties.

What are the benefits of a glass of wine?

A glass of wine is often enjoyed for its social benefits and its role as a centerpiece for culinary experiences. Many people enjoy it for its flavor profile and the relaxing atmosphere it provides when paired with food or shared with friends.
