I cannot recommend Centro Médico de Conductores Marbella (Divina Pastora Centro Médico Antiguo) highly enough! Everything was handled incredibly efficiently and in such a warm, friendly atmosphere. From the moment I arrived, I felt well taken care of, and the whole process was smooth and stress-free. I also want to highlight their excellent gestor service when it comes to handling DGT matters. Before coming here, I tried to convert my driving license on my own and went to DGT Málaga four times. Each visit was a complete waste of time and nerves—every time I was told something different. One day, I was told all my documents were fine and I only needed to come back with my passport, and the next day someone else told me I was missing paperwork. I honestly felt like I was going crazy and started to believe I would never be able to exchange my license. That’s when I found this amazing place. The woman who helped me is truly an angel—she guided me through everything step by step and took care of the whole process. Just three weeks later, I received my temporary driving license, and now I’m simply waiting for the official one from the DGT. I couldn’t believe it—I was so happy! After everything I went through, I can honestly say: it is absolutely not worth trying to deal with the DGT on your own. If I had known earlier how things work, I would have chosen their gestor service from the beginning and saved myself so much time and stress. I wholeheartedly recommend this center to anyone who needs help with any DGT-related procedures. Thank you so much once again for all your help—I truly appreciate it. Wishing you all the very best!

We’ve been with Dr. Rocio for about three years now and I honestly hardly ever write Google reviews, but she truly deserves one. She is an incredible pediatrician — warm, patient and wonderful with children. She has a very special way of making kids feel safe and calm, even when they are scared. As a parent, I always feel taken seriously and she explains everything clearly and kindly. She is also extremely knowledgeable and you can tell that she is very up to date with modern medicine and current approaches. The whole clinic is amazing as well. The reception team is always friendly, helpful and reachable. As a family living abroad, having a multilingual clinic like this gives us a real feeling of comfort and safety. I had a really good experience here at this clinic. The whole atmosphere is calm and the reception team put you at ease from the first contact. I went in without an appointment but was able to see a doctor within just a few minutes who dealt with my wound very carefully over 3 visits. I hope the need doesn’t arise but if it does I would go there again.

I had my blood test today with Marta — she’s absolutely adorable. So gentle, and she found my vein on the first try, which is amazing as I’ve always had awful experiences in the past. Also, a big thank you to Dr. Nezha Ouahla. She’s such a lovely doctor. Overall, a very pleasant experience. P.S. if the receptionist lady’s,especially the elderly ones will be more relaxed,empathetic and not grumpy while they asked or give info to the patients ,I think this will have a huge improvement to the clinic 🙌

SCAM!!! I’ve been waiting for over a month for my first trimester screening results — an extremely important test. No one at the clinic seems to care. They took €500, and that’s where their responsibility apparently ended. The doctor was supposed to call me with the results one week after my appointment on February 9th. Today is March 18th, and I still haven’t received anything. Last week, after spending hours complaining to customer support, the doctor finally called me and said there had been some kind of mistake in the lab, and that she would inform me as soon as she got an update. I am still waiting. I have never experienced such a terrible attitude toward patients!!! The worst clinical ever!!!!!!!!!

Very disappointed with the service at Hospital Quirónsalud Marbella. The attitude at the reception is extremely unhelpful and dismissive. Staff seem unwilling to assist or provide any real support. It feels like they simply don’t want to deal with patients’ questions or problems. You can end up waiting for a very long time at the desk while nothing seems to happen, and no one offers any explanation or tries to help. For a private hospital that presents itself as a high-level medical facility, this level of service and attitude is very disappointing.

My experience with the majority of their specialists is positive. It’s usually fast and straight forward once you figure out when you have to go. However, I just went for the first time to the ER and if I was rating only this, I would be giving them no stars at all. Reception staff was welcoming and great but that’s where the good service ends. The waiting area is small, they take almost an hour for the nurse to call you. Then back to the waiting room and wait another hour for a doctor to call you. If I had known this I would had just gone to the public health system. Why to pay to wait so long? Once inside, after telling the doctor than I had been been sick for a month and told him my symptoms, he prescribed me a medication and left without him even touching me. Wait two hours and spend 2 minutes with the doctor….

I gave birth on Wednesday 14/9/22 at Quiron, and I had the most amazing team and care. The matron (midwife) Alex, he was amazing the entire time, made me feel so safe and comfortable. I was a bit worried at first having a man, but he was truly amazing, helped guide me the entire time and helped me not to tear at all. I will be eternally grateful for his help and care. Also Rosa one of the nurses was amazing, she helped me so so much and was amazing when I needed help the most when I was getting an epidural. I will always remember them on the birthing of my beautiful baby girl. All the staff were amazing and took such good care of us for the 3 days we were there. I would definitely recommend the hospital. Thank you so much for everything.

I recently visited this hospital’s emergency department with my partner, and while parts of the experience were genuinely positive, one critical aspect was extremely disappointing. The medical staff — both doctors and nurses — were professional, attentive, and highly supportive throughout our visit. Their level of care and dedication deserves recognition. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the reception experience. The receptionist we dealt with was notably unhelpful, slow, and displayed a dismissive attitude from the start. When we contacted our insurance provider, she refused to proceed, claiming the document format was “not acceptable,” yet made no effort to clarify what format was required. The insurer explicitly stated they were ready to provide all necessary documentation but needed guidance from the hospital on the exact requirements — something the receptionist seemed unwilling to provide. Her behavior came across as unnecessarily obstructive and uncooperative. Rather than assisting in resolving a straightforward administrative issue, she appeared to avoid responsibility and shift the burden onto us. Ultimately, we had no choice but to pay out of pocket and handle the insurance reimbursement ourselves. This kind of attitude is unacceptable in a healthcare setting, especially in an emergency context where patients are already under stress. It significantly undermines an otherwise competent medical team and leaves a lasting negative impression.

I booked an appointment with a specialist over a month in advance. Unfortunately they were out sick and I was only informed 30 minutes in advance. Traffic and parking are not the easiest in this area so I had already arrived in Marbella. Fortunately, the receptionist was able to direct me to their urgent care. I was able to get an emergency prescription refill while waiting for the next available appointment with this specialist in the upcoming weeks/months. Emergency care for expats with private health coverage should be fairly quick and straightforward.

One of the best hospitals in Marbella they are so professional , helpful & caring. It is always busy but clearly because the word around town of how good a hospital it is. I went in for emergency knee surgery and Surgeon could not have been better Doctor Coralles 🙏 thank you. He sent me to their physiotherapy Clinic for two months of incredible treatment by a wonderful woman, Ava 🌟who got me back to normal with her kindness and patience and professionalism. Thank you to all Staff I met in the hospital .

Visited today for sciatica treatment (injection administered), but the receptionist insisted I speak Spanish. The sign clearly stated “international receptionist,” implying English communication should be available. However, about 10 minutes later, another patient arrived and was fully assisted in English. This felt like selective treatment based on appearance, despite all patients paying for the same service.

I’m very pleased with the hospital staff specially with my ophthalmologist Dr. Ramirez and his assistant. My eyes surgeries went very well and I happy with the results. I recommend anyone having any eye problems to come to this hospital.

This Sunday, I called beforehand worried about my dogs ear as she was experiencing a lot of pain and they said to bring her in, they were super helpful and looked after Ruby with great care. Really friendly, overall great experience and Ruby is now on the mend. Grateful for how efficient and kind they were!

My dog couldn’t pee for a day as she was holding it due to the car ride to Spain. I called the clinic at 10pm, they said we should come in. After a thorough examination my dog was treated with anti inflammatory medication. We felt taken good care of and treated with respect and kindness. I would recommend this clinic.

Woke up Sunday morning and my dog was throwing up blood. Had a warm welcome the minute we got there and they treated Frankie with the best care! Kept him overnight for observation. Thank you for looking after him so well.

Friendly and attentive staff, my dog is elderly and suffering from severe arthritis. The vets there gave my boy a thorough examination and some medication for pain and swelling. I was happy with the cost of emergency treatment as it was bank holiday Labour Day..

I brought my cat in late at night after she had a suspected fall and head injury and was confused and bleeding in the eye nose and mouth. They treated her very well and were very kind and gentle, and their calmness made me feel at ease too. They kept her 24hrs to treat her and monitor her condition to make sure she didn’t develop symptoms of a brain injury, and she has returned home and looks/feels so much better, and they advised a check up on her eye. They also speak English which was helpful. Thank you for helping my cat. ❤️ The price was fair too for emergency care, so yes I would recommend this clinic.

WORST VETERENARY CLINIC I VISITED IN MY WHOLE LIFE! I called them 2 hours before as i live far from Marbella, as i was worried for my pet i explained what was going on with her. ( She fell 3 meters from a balcony) The person in the phone told me to bring her there asap as there can be an emergengy. As she told us to we came. First we waited for 1 hour. As i enter the room with A veterinarian named (Kira), the first sentence she tells me is “Why did you even bring her here, she is not in a life or death situation?” What the hell??? She didnt even check nothing before saying this. Bloodtest/ listening to the heartbeat etc. After i tell her how can you know without checking, she starts listening to the heartbeat. While she is doing this she is repeatedly telling me to hold the cat and “chill out” “aaaah” etc. Then when i confront her and explain to her that this is not the right way to work as a veterinarian showing 0 empathy and trying to make the situation a little more comfortable. HER EXCUSE IS WE HAD 3 DOGS dying today. Never visit this place, if they treated my pet like this infront of me, only god knows what they are doing behind those closed doors! I do not speak for the other vets in there, but if i was the manager i would Fire the lady named Kira on the spot.

Spent 5 nights at this zoo. Only one lovely male nurse in the NICU, the rest of them treated me like an animal. Didn’t clean my bedsheets, the food they served was inedible and I even got locked out of my own ward one night. Doctors got my daughter’s gestational age wrong as well as my blood group. I get PTSD thinking about this place.

Today may 11 2026 20 times from 11:50 am to 12:10 i called the secretary keeps hangingup on me, is the rudest worst unprofessional person to ever answer any calls. Only a demon can behave do inhumanely to ask for someone in english. My mother took ill two years ago while on holidays from Ireland and had a 20% chance of living. This hospital saved her life- if she had fallen ill at home in Ireland she would have died on a trolley, so bad is the health system in Ireland. I was very impressed with the hospital and entire set up at this hospital, and will always be very grateful that the illness happened when she happened to be in Spain. (Canteen staff could be a bit friendlier though!!).

The emergency A & E is extremely busy. Expect to wait between 6 to 9 hours. However once my husband was admitted the staff gave/are giving brilliant care. They treat my 81-year-old husband with tremendous due care and respect. He may have to have his foot amputated; at the moment they are trying to treat with IV antibiotics. I initially gave 5 stars. I’ve now downgraded to one star. Seven daylater he had amputation. Some of the auxiliary staff were downright rude! He was moved to same floor, different room. Example, the cleaning staff came in,picked my bag up off the floor and “dumped” it on his bed. My anxiety level hit the roof. Nooooo! I said. Not hygienic, in UK we are told not to sit on bed! Also I hadn’t seen his left leg amputation so wasn’t sure where it was! I used to work in a hospital as a medical secretary. If these people don’t enjoy their job, LEAVE!!! Do us all a favour. Then another one said she didn’t understand me when I asked, “Puede ver un doctor para mi marido” she huffed and puffed and said, “No comprendo.” And walked away. Truly ignorant.he other room had better care! I cannot fault the doctors. They were empathetic and top class. At the end of the day, they are here for him, not the other dim-witted so called carers.

This is really one of the worst places on earth. This really is one of the worst places on earth. I went here to receive treatment and in the emergency room you expect a wait. You expect serious conditions that are more than yours. But what you do not expect is the constant rude attitudes and behavior of staff. These people are beyond lazy. They have a total disdain for treating foreigners. This definitely is a zoo. I was taken in after some time, diagnosed with pneumonia and placed in an overnight observation tank with ten other patients. They continued rotating them in and out throughout the course of the night. The staff was very loud and playing around most of the night. When I woke to use the restroom my neighbor was using the other half of my IV hanger, so I couldn’t take mine to use the bathroom. When I finally could go, I noticed the guy who was supposed to be observing us, fast asleep at the desk. Then after the night passed, here comes the gargoyle pictured with an attitude and very nasty racist behavior. It said rudely that is you’re in Spain speak Spanish. She was yelling at me to put the foot rest down so she could give me bread and warm milk that she had already given to another patient. When I objected to the food and her treatment and said I could leave and perfect that I was doing so. No matter how overcrowded a place is, or how understaffed a place is this treatment to patients is unprofessional and unproductive. I discharged myself and checked into a private clinic. This other man was clearly screaming for help when I was walking out. I turned back to ask the staff to help him. They said that he was crazy and homeless so he would be alone and treated when they got to him. Looked as if he had puked everywhere

I strongly do not recommend this hospital. The service is extremely disappointing. They almost never answer the phone, WhatsApp messages are ignored, and the reception staff are not helpful at all when you need assistance. I booked an appointment, traveled all the way to the hospital, and when I arrived, I was told there was no appointment under my name. It was a complete waste of my time. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated incident. I have tried several times to contact the hospital regarding an urgent matter, and every single time I have been transferred from one department to another with nobody answering or taking responsibility. Considering how expensive this hospital is, this level of service is completely unacceptable. When it comes to healthcare, patients deserve professionalism, proper communication, and reliable customer service. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone.

I’ve had a very positive experience at HC Marbella, mainly through endocrinology and pulmonology consultations related to sleep, weight, and general health. In endocrinology, the care was excellent. I felt listened to and properly guided from the beginning. The doctor ordered comprehensive blood tests, reviewed important markers such as cortisol, and explained clearly what I could do to lose weight and improve my overall situation. He also supported me with treatment options and medication where appropriate. The approach felt serious, practical, and very professional. In pulmonology, my experience was also positive. The specialist reviewed my case carefully and helped clarify important questions around sleep and breathing. I especially appreciated that he did not simply assume a previous diagnosis was correct, but instead looked at whether sleep apnea was really the main issue. Overall, I felt that the doctors genuinely tried to help, with clear explanations and professional care. For a private hospital in Marbella, I also found the consultation prices reasonable compared with other private clinics I have used. My overall experience has been very good, and I’m grateful for the care I received.

My experience at this hospital has been positive when it comes to the doctors. The medical care and professionalism have been great. Unfortunately, the experience at the reception areas was very different. On several occasions, there were long waiting times, very limited communication, and a general lack of clarity. For one of my tests, I was not properly guided on how to prepare, and I had to look up the instructions myself to be sure I was doing it correctly. That should not happen. The tone at the reception area downstairs felt distant and, at times, uncomfortable. It is a sensitive moment for most patients, and even small gestures, such as clear explanations or a more welcoming attitude, make a real difference. I believe there is room for improvement, either through better training in patient care or by moving toward more automated systems, similar to what Quirón has implemented. Reducing the need to wait at reception and streamlining administrative steps would greatly improve the overall experience. The medical team reflects a high standard of care. With some attention to the reception experience, the hospital as a whole could match that same level.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Dr. Marco Antonio Herrera Ruiz. He is an outstanding professional with truly golden hands. The injection was completely painless — I didn’t feel it at all, which was very important for me, especially because I have anxiety. The wisdom tooth extraction was quick, gentle, and very smooth. The doctor worked at the highest level — you can clearly see his experience, confidence, and care for the patient. I would also like to highlight the service and the speed of the appointment. In Spain, it is usually very difficult to get a quick appointment, especially at an affordable price, but here everything was perfect. I had to come in for a gastroscopy this afternoon, and I just wanted to thank the staff, especially the anaesthesiologist that worked with me. I have a very intense fear of needles and I was a bit of a mess, but everything went very smoothly and quickly, from sedation to recovery. Thank you so much for your care and patience. Unfortunately, with the state I was in, I now can’t recall the name of the professional who worked with me, but I just wanted to leave this here regardless, because I’m really grateful. If I ever have to undergo any sedated procedures here again, I’ll definitely feel way more at ease.

We are very dissatisfied with the service at Ovoclinic Marbella. To get any information about our process, we have to call constantly, and they rarely answer our calls or reply to our messages. My wife had to call repeatedly just for us to find out that our doctor, Dr. German, no longer works at the clinic, which completely shatters our trust in the clinic. FRAUD WARNING! After several failed attempts—each with significantly worse results than those from previous clinics—the clinic decided to cancel the guarantee program. They sent us a document to sign before refunding the money we had paid. However, the document was worded in a way that would essentially forfeit our right to claim the money back. From the first time we went to the clinic, we felt in safe hands. We had our first consultation and was given a lot of Information for us to take home and have the time to think. After 8 years of trying for a baby, two ectopic pregnancies and also a miscarriage we decided to try Ivf and we could not be happier or more grateful if we tried. Dr Bravo, Lindsey and the rest of the clinic team are phenomenal!! We have our long awaited, miracle baby boy!! Every step of the journey was planned to perfection, any questions we had answered. After a heartbreaking failed IVF in a clinic in Greece, my husband and I chose OVOCLINIC after a thorough search. I can only say that that was literally the best decision we ever made. I got pregnant at the first try. Everything was handled so professionally, with so much precision, but at the same time with so much human warmth. We’re beyond happy. After 10 years of marriage, we’re going to finally have a baby thanks to Ovoclinic ❤️ Update! On 11/17/2022, the joy of our lives, our beautiful baby was born!

Great experience of the clinic where we had a cycles of IUI and one of IVF. They explained what was going on every step of the way and we never felt we weren’t sure what was coming next. Lindsey is an absolute star, could answer everything we threw at her and was never too busy, made you feel like the only client. This was all during peak covid times as well but their standards or availability never dropped. Only not 5 stars as during IVF kept getting prescribed drugs that were seriously difficult to get and no alternative ever got recommended even though fed it back. We found them all eventually but at one point had to go to 15 pharmacies in an evening! Friendly staff, bi lingual and highly recommended for anyone going through IVF.
