We had the worst experience ever!!! The nanny they sent was completely unqualified, left my 2 years old nephew unattended and he fell into the pool. When she had to travel with the family, she abandoned the job abroad. I strongly advise against using Mary Poppins Agency. Despite living between Marbella and New York for 10 years and being very familiar with the going rates for domestic help in Spain, this agency quoted us an inflated salary — more than double the standard — reaching over €2,500/month for a housekeeper. Even our lawyers flagged the amount as irregular and risky. It felt clear that this inflated salary was tied to the agency’s own fee, which makes their insistence on such a number extremely suspicious. Especially after I wanted to replace the employee they still insisted on this rate even though some of my demands were removed. That’s when the cost became even more suspicious. We also felt they believed they could take advantage of us simply because I am American — even though I have been living and hiring people in Spain for nearly a decade and know very well what the true market rates are. We were told the candidate was exceptional and fully vetted (deserving of this inflated rate) but almost nothing aligned with what we were promised. Her background was misrepresented, she had little domestic experience, and serious issues were never disclosed — including a past domestic abuse arrest in the U.S. Either the agency failed to check or knowingly ignored this. The employee herself voluntarily told us her real background (janitor and restaurant work, not private homes recently – more than 2 years ago) and contradicted nearly everything the agency had told us. Before traveling to the U.S., we made it clear we could not offer a contract at such an inflated salary. She insisted she wanted the job anyway — partly because it gave her the chance to see her daughter in America. Yet after we paid for her extremely expensive travel, she quit just 7 days into a planned 3-month stay, leaving us with roughly €7,000 in losses. It became clear she had used us to get into the United States, and to this day she remains in the country unaccounted for. This has put us at huge risk, as we do not know where she is or what her intentions are. Mary Poppins also failed to disclose that she had repeatedly visited their office expressing anxiety about the role and about traveling with us. This information would have been critical for us to know, as her erratic behavior only made sense after the fact. The entire process left us feeling misled, exploited, and unsafe. This agency is neither professional nor trustworthy. Be warned: they overcharge, misrepresent candidates, and fail to properly screen the people they place inside family homes.

Earlier this year, Elena Evstafieva (of Nordica Real Estate Marbella) helped us find our dream penthouse in one of the most sought-after gated communities in Marbella/Nueva Andalucia. She was instrumental in advising us during the entire process, and when a few months later the neighboring penthouse became available, she immediately helped to also secure this unique opportunity. Without Elena’s expertise and commitment, this would not have been possible. Elena is one of the most proactive and committed real estate brokers I have met, and given that Elena is fluent in English and Spanish, it made the process for me as a foreign buyer so much easier and transparent.

I have tried other methods like idealists for summer rentals but Nordica is by far the best. The service is excellent, especially by Yolanda Moreno. She is awesome! The attention to detail and customer-first attitude make a huge difference. These people really care about their clients. I strongly recommend Nordica for all summer rentals in Marbella.

For our family summer vacation 2025, we went back to Spain this year and entrusted Nordica Marbella to help us find the right place to stay. This is the 4th time we use them and as always they everything was arranged perfectly. We arrived in the middle of the night, but the key was available as per instructions. Coming to the apartment, everything was perfectly clean and prepared for us, including a small welcome basket. We could go straight to sleep without any worries. This time we did not have any issues that needed attention. But during our previous stays, whenever there has been an issue (like locking the key inside the apartment) Nordica has always responded immediately and helped to find a solution. Our favorite is Juan, but all the Nordica staff we have interacted with over the years are always friendly, supportive and responsive. We will for sure use Nordica Marbella for our next visit and can highly recommend them to anybody else.

We booked a private boat party for my sister’s hen do and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish! The trip lasted three hours and included unlimited drinks, a fantastic DJ, and the most incredible service. The staff were so attentive and made sure we were looked after the entire time. No show on the day until my confirmation. It seems their cleaners went to other job and they kind of apologised, but couldn’t come on the day promised. Quite disappointing given they charge extra for reliable service, but turned out to be most unreliable. So I ended up with another cleaning company.

We have just had our community garage deep cleaned by Sergio FS and we are very happy with the results. We had a few technical problems, which were not their fault, but nevertheless they managed to complete the work in a reasonable time and were very collaborative. I do not recommend this company. Every time they send a different person with different cleaning capabilities, from good people to people who seem like they have never done a cleaning in their life. The last time, I took photos immediately after the cleaning showing very obvious dirt that the cleaner had left behind. I had to do a cleaning on top of the cleaning already done. They did nothing but say they were going to speak with the cleaner. Days later, I discovered that the person had thrown away a piece of my terrace hose; it probably fell off when I used it and they found it easier to throw the piece in the trash instead of informing me of what happened. I informed the company, but they never answered me, much less offered any refund for the poor cleaning and the uselessness of my hose.No recomiendo esta empresa. Everything was great and super clean. I had to cancel the appointment because I had some issues with work, but they gave me another appointment quickly and without any problems. Additionally, they let me know that I had a couple of burnt-out lights and they fixed those too so that my guests would be comfortable. Very nice experience. Kind and helpful staff, polite customers, machines that work well, and a cafe next door where you can wait while your laundry cycle finishes. Need cash, or buy a card, but it takes up to a €20 note if that’s all you have (like from an ATM) so it’s pretty easy.

Love the new location, easy parking outside. My daughter wore a family heirloom for her Baptism. The dress and shawl are almost 100 years old. The lace and fabric are so delicate. I got it specialist dry cleaned before and after the event and it is now perfectly boxed and preserved. So grateful Gieves did such a fantastic job!

I recently entrusted a pair of cream leather golf shoes to this dry cleaner, which had visible scuffs and general wear. The results were outstanding. The leather was restored to a bright, clean finish, the interiors were refreshed and left with a pleasant scent, and the soles and sides looked immaculate and nice an clean once again. The standard of care and professionalism was exceptional, and I would not hesitate to recommend their services. Since then, I took in a pair of my suede’s shoes and equally as good.

Absolutely desperate service. We were in Spain for our wedding and left in 2 bags of clothes to be dry cleaned. As did our friends. All of the men’s shirts and T-shirts came back shrunk really small! They were expensive Ralph Lauren shirts. Colours ran in some of my dresses and there was no fresh smell off any of the clothes. 4 of us were left feeling very angry and disappointed. This service is not good enough and caused so much hassle and money 😡
