We had an outstanding experience with Ideal Furniture in Marbella, who provided a full interior design and product sourcing service for our apartment in Spain. From the very beginning, there was absolutely no pressure to purchase anything. We were free to browse their impressive three-storey showroom and see all the furniture/accessories in person, which made a huge difference and really set them apart from other interior companies in Marbella. Prices were clearly displayed on every item, so we always knew when we were approaching the top end of our budget. We spent time with Nesh and Noelia selecting wall coverings and fabric samples for headboards and sofas. They invited us back to finalise and tweek the designs once the proposals were complete, using the IT software so we could see them evolve in real time, which made the whole process both collaborative and enjoyable. When the furniture arrived, the quality was superb. The installation team, seamstress and cleaner were all deployed and could not have done a better job. What really stood out was that in our absence they staged the apartment with accessories and left everything in place so we could live with it and decide what we wanted to keep. Unsurprisingly, we ended up keeping everything! Thank you so much for your time, patience and expertise. We couldn’t be more thrilled with the final result.

We were looking for a furniture store that offered good quality at reasonable prices to furnish our entire new flat. We found the right shop in Ideal Furniture. It started with first-class advice. I am based in Dublin and recently bought an apartment in Calahonda, with current travel restrictions I was unable to travel in order to furnish the apartment. After doing lots of online research I came across Ideal furniture and based on their reviews I made contact. From the first email I knew that I was dealing with Professionals. Over the course of the next week Noelia went through my likes and dislikes and between us we came up with plan. Within 6 weeks my apartment was fully furnished, including rugs, light fittings, curtains, bed linen and towels. The project was all completed on budget, and to say that I am pleased with the results is an understatement. Noelia and her team did the most fantastic job and I do not hesitate to recommend them. Thank you so much guys.

Really well-stocked store, as usual with plenty of products you might need and lots that maybe you will one day. Quality of product is variable but generally good value. The staff attitude has improved, as demonstrated by an older gentleman at the checkout who called out Hello in a very upbeat way! Good for him.

There is no possibility of return, and if the product is defective, they are reluctant to replace it

DOUBLE CHECK YOUR RECEIPT! Twice now I’ve been the victim of overcharging – the first time, they double scanned an item; more recently, when the scanned price was more expensive than the ticket on the product and indeed the price label above the products on the rack. The old boy first up attempted to blame his shoppers for changing the price labels around. Even when we went over there and he clearly saw it was 4.75 EUR, he simply said it was wrongly written as the barcodes didn’t tie up. It was 100% his responsibility to communicate prices in a fair and accurate way. Instead, he tried to weasel his way out of things by blaming clients and even when it blatantly shows the price for a ‘tutu’, he refuses to accept responsibility. In fact, he took it upon himself to rip the price labels with 4.75 EUR off the tutu… Not to be trusted. And if you want to go to a Chinese shop, go across the road to the one next to Supercor. They’re also far more pleasant over there. Will never set foot in this place again.

Way overpriced for the quality of merchandise in the store. You can do a lot better at any Dunnes store or Leroy Merlin. Family-owned and not very friendly. Won’t be coming back to this place.

This shop has everything – electric cords, hardware items, art supplies, almost anything for your house and party stuff including helium. Thsy also have clothes and seasonal stuff, etc. Nice relaxed staff too and more spacious than many ‘chinos’ (as the spanish call these shops)

This place is massive! I couldn’t believe how much selection it has, you will find everything here! If you have just moved you could literally buy everything you need for your house in the one place, at reasonable prices too, from cultery pots,pans,electronics, bedding, pillows, mirror’s,tables,ornaments,lamps, rugs, fruniture, car products, pet products, DIY, crafts, hobbies, toys, things for the beach, party supplies, garden furniture, clothes, it keeps going and going! beware though, you can’t help yourself in the place and won’t be able to walk out without spending nearly €100!

I found this vintage shop on Google, we bought from their website and everything was great, the products were exactly as described, delivery was fast and the service was excellent. We also visited the shop and loved it, the staff were attentive and friendly, a wonderful place where we discovered new treasures… we will be back soon.

Great service from the beginning to the delivery. Even when in my mistake, one of the beds were installed to wrong room and I called for help to switch the room I got instant YES and quick service next day. At the same time I got a little help to put the carpets under the beds and also to move other furniture at the same time. Five star service and big recommendations.

We were looking for our perfect bed, for our first new house after years and Jonas went the extra mile to understand our needs and provide the best solution for us. I am very happy to choose Jensen Store Marbella. During the last year I suffered a lot due to back pain (spondylolesthesis) and spreading the pain along my left leg. Sometimes I couldn’t sleep well, it was very difficult to turn around and I felt pain when I was asleep and everyday I got up with pain. The big problem was my previous firm mattress. I bought one of their high quality mattresses, Majestic Reversible Mattress plus its toppers. Unbelievably my pain decreased and now it is gone and I have a comfortable sleep. In the middle of this pandemic I received my purchase on time, exactly at the expected delivery date. Delivery was to the room and their delivery colleagues were handy, kind and patience. They covered the previous mattress and transported it to my store room. I want to tell you that they will follow up with you. After sale they offered me some useful recommendation from their in-house physiotherapist. They are great and I highly recommend them.

Our experience with Anna at the Marbella store location has been excellent from the moment we walked into the store until our sofa was delivered today! She took the time to make sure our order was exactly what we wanted as well as making sure it would fit through a tight turn at the top of the stairs. From the moment we walked into Big Sofas, we knew we had eventually hit the jackpot. We were made very welcome by Ana, and there were so many Sofas to choose from. In July 1919 I purchased a complete new bed, and a large sofa for our home I was attended by Ana, a familiar face, and the process was professional, efficient very pleasant. Delivery was “super fast” despite the high season and now, nearly 3 years later I can say I am still more than satisfied. Ana is still attending with the same smile, and assisted me answering all my questions about removing the covers and how to clean them. Important heads-up! Quite a painless process… after cleaning all the covers fit perfectly and the sofa looks like new. Finally a big thank you to Marina and Carmen in the Post Sales department for arranging some maintenance tasks and for replacing a couple of bearings which had seen some wear. All in all Great Service, Great and lasting product… When I eventually have to buy again… I know exactly where to go! THANKS BiG SOFASS

Very bad service!!! The employee in the store is very friendly but the rest of the service of Big Sofass Marbella is worthless. Months ago we ordered 2 sofas. After more than 12 weeks of waiting, the sofas finally arrived. A cushion was missing and the legs were badly damaged. It also turned out that the 2nd sofa could not be used because the seat was mounted incorrectly. The sofa was picked up and we got an ugly loan sofa in return that doesn’t match our interior at all. A thorn in the eye. We are now almost 5 months further and we still don’t have what we paid for. A cushion is still missing, the legs still haven’t been replaced and we still haven’t got our sofa back. Nothing will be done to compensate and no communication will be made with us. WATCH OUT! Definitely don’t buy stuff here because you’re left with broken stuff!

If you buy products on Maisons website (from market place providers) they charge your account twice without authorisation; I bought items for 2000 euros and they charged me 4000 euros, and then refunded me 2k after 2 weeks!!!! Maisons – you cannot block my money on my account!

A sofabed I had ordered has been delivered without all the screws, bolts and nuts, which were missing. Therefore my sofa is useless as it cannot be assembled.

Very bad after sales support. They don’t redeem payments for non delivered goods not before you had to go through a nerv wrecking chat process. Even the personal in the shop refuses to help. A payment can always redeem with the same payment method.

Christmas tree ordered on December 18, arrived late on December 26, I want to return it as I received it and neither the return nor the refund is accepted. The problem is that Maison du Monde works with other sub-companies that make these deliveries (Brigros in my case) and are not interested in the service or the customers of Maison du Monde.. Conclusion? I won’t order anything from Maison du Monde again, they are guilty of this happening and not taking action. In the picture: The unopened package as I received it.

They have very cute products, but the stock system and delivery timelines of their products are a disgrace! I placed an order for a mirror over 1 month ago. It was scheduled to be delivered a month and a half later. As if that wasn’t bad enough now they tell me my order has been delayed for another month due to product shortage. You would think that they would prioritize those clients with back orders waiting. Instead they run out of products and they just keep you waiting for longer and longer. All the products you order online from them have extensively long and overdrawn delivery times, it’s a big mess and very unpractical. It’s a pity that such a cute shop has such awful logistics.

Bought a table from them in the beginning of January 2025. It came broken so I went to the shop asking what would be the best solution. They told me it would be no problem fixing it, they had a carpenter for cases like these. I contacted them through WhatsApp and long story short, they told me the carpenter was fully booked forever, didn’t reply for a long time and now they are not replying at all.I’m so upset because that table has been broken in my living room for more than 1 year and they don’t care at all to find a solution.

After purchasing many items, including a very expensive chair, the backrest broke. When I filed a complaint, I was told it was my own fault. Apparently, the chairs are not designed to be sat on. At the time of purchase, everyone was polite and helpful, but during the complaint process, they were unpleasant and didn’t even bother to get up from their chairs. This is not how it should be. I will not shop here again.
