El Corte Inglés Puerto Banús is truly one of the best shopping destinations on the Costa del Sol. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a clean, modern, and well-organized space that makes browsing a pleasure. The store offers an incredible variety of products, from high-end fashion brands to everyday essentials, all under one roof. What really stands out is the quality of service. The staff are professional, attentive, and always willing to help without being intrusive. Whether you’re looking for something specific or just exploring, they make the experience smooth and enjoyable. The fashion section is particularly impressive, featuring a wide selection of designer labels as well as more affordable options, catering to all tastes and budgets. Another highlight is the gourmet food hall, which is a must-visit. The selection of fresh products, international delicacies, and ready-to-eat meals is outstanding. It’s perfect whether you want to grab a quick bite or pick up something special. The location in Puerto Banús is ideal, adding to the overall luxury feel of the experience. Everything is maintained to a very high standard, from cleanliness to layout and presentation. Overall, it’s a premium shopping experience that consistently delivers quality, variety, and excellent service. Absolutely deserving of 5 stars.

I was in the children’s department of Ralph Lauren last night where I bought a yellow Ralph Lauren jumper for my teenage daughter at about 19.10 hours last night. We met a seriously unpleasant woman with shoulder length brown hair. I don’t speak Spanish but this lady was being very unpleasant. At one stage I thought she was going to hit my daughter. We made our purchase with another Spanish lady with blonde hair who was pleasant. Could management please seek out this woman as this behaviour is completely unacceptable and very unusual behaviour for this shop. You need to investigate this further.

Shana

Visited this store recently and was impressed by how clean, modern, and well presented everything was. There’s a great selection of home furnishings, décor, and household items, and the supermarket section is particularly well stocked with plenty of premium products. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I was specifically looking for Hot Wheels, and unfortunately there wasn’t a toy section or any Hot Wheels available. If you’re visiting for homeware or groceries, it’s definitely worth a stop, but toy collectors may want to look elsewhere. Overall, a pleasant shopping experience with a great range of quality products and a nice atmosphere.

This grocery store is immaculate. It is pricy but they do have good sales and others brands that are cheaper. I was truly in heaven when I stepped in here. If you’re a wine lover or collector, the wine selection is incredible and not to be missed. The tinned fish selection, olive oil and cheese section is outstanding as well. They have a section dedicated to iberico ham. This grocery store is a food lovers dream. It gives Whole Foods a run for its money.

This supermarket (floor -1) is BY FAR the best grocery shopping Marbella has to offer. Everything is new. Fresh Fish, Butcher and Cheese counter. Just fabulous! Be aware that the ‘Club del Gourmet’ has now moved to the ground floor, sharing space with their decoration department. There is also a Starbucks on this floor if that’s your thing. I won’t do my grocery shopping anywhere else. Plenty of Parking on 2 decks below the premises. While you shop get your car detailed at -2.

The staff here is fantastic. Though I have limited Spanish, thanks Google Translate, we were able to find almost everything on our list. A huge selection of items of every kind. Check the prices. While some items are good value, others are definitely not. Some cheaply made very poor quality electrical items are on sale at similar prices as are top quality versions in mainstream stores. Da Giulia is an absolute delight — one of those places you instantly fall in love with the moment you walk by and catch the smell of freshly baked croissants and good coffee drifting through the air. It’s perfect for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, with a relaxed and welcoming vibe that makes you want to linger. The food is consistently delicious — the Spaghetti Carbonara is creamy and full of flavour, and the bruschetta with fresh tomatoes, garlic, and herbs is simply divine. The sangria here is the best in town — beautifully decorated and almost too pretty to drink (but definitely worth it!). The location couldn’t be better, right on the Marbella Promenade with gorgeous sea views — the perfect spot to sit back, enjoy your meal, and watch the world go by. You’re even treated to a complimentary tapa before your meal, which is such a lovely touch. The staff are genuinely some of the nicest and most friendly people you’ll meet, and the atmosphere is always warm and cheerful, with great background music that adds to the charm. Da Giulia is one of those special places that makes every visit feel like a holiday moment. Highly recommended! 🌊☕🍝🍷

This is a very cool place to have breakfast with a view. It’s literally 30 meters away from the sea. The prices are decent and there is a little variety in the menu, but don’t expect anything fancy. The English breakfast is BIG! and you can get it for about 7 euros! Coffee is great too and the people serving here are very friendly and they also speak English! Fully recommend this place for breakfast or a snack!

Please be warned. The Cafeteria has changed hands and is nothing like the same place. There is no notice to tell you. It is only when you place your usual order (been going here for years) that you find out that everything has changed….and NOT IN A GOOD WAY! The menu is different. The new management forgets that “the customer is always right”. When you tell them that this is not how you want your coffee served, you are told “this is the way now”. If you liked our old Da Giulia, you are going to be disappointed, so don’t waste your money or time, It is a huge disappointment.

The assistant is utterly rude, disrespectful and racist. She refused to let me choose and try on some glasses and literally asked me to leave.

Fun place to visit, but it’s a little pricey and full of junk for the most part. Staff doesn’t seem very interested in helping anymore.

Unlike some other Chinese shops, this one has friendly staff, is well organised and your hands don’t turn a funny colour by the time you are finished 😛

Frequently asked questions about bookstores in Marbella

    What is a bookstore?

A bookstore is a retail establishment where books and related literary items are sold to the public. These shops serve as cultural hubs where customers can browse various genres, from fiction and non-fiction to educational texts and periodicals. They differ from libraries in that bookstores are commercial businesses intended for the sale of goods rather than public lending services.

How much does it cost to open a bookstore?

The cost to open a bookstore varies significantly depending on the size of the location, the desired inventory level, and the local real estate market. Initial expenses typically include commercial lease deposits, interior shelving and furniture, initial stock procurement, and necessary business licensing. Small independent shops may have lower entry costs compared to large-scale retail outlets.

How often do bookstores restock their inventory?

Bookstores restock their inventory on a regular cycle, which can range from weekly to monthly depending on the store's size and distribution agreements. Frequent restocking ensures that new releases are available and that popular titles remain in stock. Many modern retailers also utilize inventory management solutions to track sales in real-time and automate the reordering process.

What do bookstores do with unsold books?

Bookstores manage unsold stock through various methods such as returning items to publishers, offering discounts, or donating them to charitable organizations. Some retailers may also participate in book swaps or sell older titles at reduced prices to clear space for new arrivals. Proper inventory management helps minimize waste and ensures a rotating selection of titles for customers.
