Updated review: We love our apartment but unfortunately it is in a very old building, as a result, one of the walls had water because of some old reparation that was made. We contacted Zaira via WhatsApp and she promptly responded sending the store manager to take a look (it was a wierd coincidence with a screw in the wall, but definitely not Mobalpa’s fault -but that’s another story). Then, whenever the insurance came (and it happend 2 times), Luis, one of the guys that assembles the furniture, was present, in case something needing taking out and he handled everything flawlessly. He even helped a bit even if it wasn’t his job to do so. Their professionalism is what makes them a great choice. One year later, our kitchen looks, once again, brand new. Thank you, INITIAL REVIEW: We just finished our kitchen and it looks amazing. Zaira helped us with everything and she made an amazing design. She helped us with every question we had and she solved everything promptly (and there were a few). The team that came to assemble the furniture was professional as well, they considered every small detail that could have been considered. They were prompt and punctual. Even if we didn’t have a huge budget, we got our dream kitchen with everything that we needed/wanted. I highly recommend working with them.

Top professional service. After we’ve been cheated by a Danish kitchen supplier we asked for help at Mobalpa in Marbella. We’ve got personal attention from the very beginning and through the whole decision making process. Oscar and Lourdes were exceptional all the way through with their advice and follow up. The kitchen was delivered and installed just as we agreed. As we don’t live in Spain permanently we were notified about each step. And when we came to Spain and saw our new kitchen it was just perfect. Great quality! Great job! Excellent service! Our best recommendations!

For our project to replace our old kitchen, we did study the offer available. There were lots of cheap offers that didn’t meet our requirements and frankly looked it wouldn’t sustain time. I then came across reports that in France Mobalpa is dominating the market and the brand had a swanky showroom in Marbella. I did visit the shop and many more to expose our project. Quickly it appeared that Mobalpa was the one to offer our dream design kitchen at a competitive price. Meeting with Oscar and Lourdes was a breeze and we quickly made our decision. The installation happened on time and efficiently with Manolo’s team. As I write this testimony over a year later, Manolo has come back twice to fix little imperfections. This is what I call a 5 stars service. Highly recommendable company.

We had an outstanding experience with Ideal Furniture in Marbella, who provided a full interior design and product sourcing service for our apartment in Spain. From the very beginning, there was absolutely no pressure to purchase anything. We were free to browse their impressive three-storey showroom and see all the furniture/accessories in person, which made a huge difference and really set them apart from other interior companies in Marbella. Prices were clearly displayed on every item, so we always knew when we were approaching the top end of our budget. We spent time with Nesh and Noelia selecting wall coverings and fabric samples for headboards and sofas. They invited us back to finalise and tweek the designs once the proposals were complete, using the IT software so we could see them evolve in real time, which made the whole process both collaborative and enjoyable. When the furniture arrived, the quality was superb. The installation team, seamstress and cleaner were all deployed and could not have done a better job. What really stood out was that in our absence they staged the apartment with accessories and left everything in place so we could live with it and decide what we wanted to keep. Unsurprisingly, we ended up keeping everything! Thank you so much for your time, patience and expertise. We couldn’t be more thrilled with the final result.

I am based in Dublin and recently bought an apartment in Calahonda, with current travel restrictions I was unable to travel in order to furnish the apartment. I purchased a mattress that was in the store’s stock and they scheduled a time for the next day. I asked to leave before work to be home upon arrival, and after an hour and a half of waiting, no one came. They didn’t even call me (they didn’t pick up the phone either). I went to the store to ask for a refund and they didn’t even ask what the problem was. I do not recommend it. Regarding your response: I clarify that there were two sizes, both in stock, 21cm and 17cm thick. If it weren’t suitable for me, I would have ordered a 15cm one and it would have taken several days or a week. Okay, I accept it: calculation error. But not notifying me (they didn’t pick up the phone on a delivery order), not asking what the problem was or why I don’t want the item. The review is constructive so that it doesn’t happen again in the future, and I wrote it here because that is what is requested in the store’s advertising—to leave reviews. Shameful. I have been waiting for months for them to contact me regarding an issue with a chair. I reported the defect on the same day of delivery. They don’t call me; I have contacted them countless times and they don’t have the decency to call me to let me know if they are resolving the issue or not. I have called a ton of times, and they hide behind the factory, saying that it closes in August, that it takes time… every time I call, and they never get in touch with me. Forgive them for blaming the factory; the chairs were display models from the store. The chair was like that and got damaged during transport; take responsibility and give the customer a solution. Don’t hide behind the factory all the time without giving any signs of life. It’s almost October… for God’s sake, I bought them 3 months ago, on June 25th. Aren’t you ashamed that every time I’ve called, you’ve had the perfect excuse regarding the factory but you never call me to inform me or provide a solution??? Aren’t you ashamed?? Next step is a formal complaint and the OCU. Gentlemen, I have been very polite and very patient, but don’t laugh at people and sell them chairs in poor condition as if it were nothing… this isn’t a flea market, it’s supposed to be a furniture store, serious…De vergüenza. I had a horrible experience with IKEA Spain. They are totally different from other IKEAs in the rest of the world. They measured my small kitchen 3 times and did not give me the right advice about what needs to be done before installation. It has already taken me almost 2 years to order a kitchen from them. My order has been delayed for different reasons which had nothing to do with me. IKEA Spain does not take any responsibility for their own issues. I even made a complaint and received a generic response in Spanish from them ignoring all the points raised in my complaint. I am too frustrated and regret so much choosing IKEA Spain.

The customer service is perfect, especialy Mr. Jésus is a perfect and kind guy, he gave us a lots of information and advice about our purchase.

We had a great experience with one planning team member who was ever so helpful and then when we went back to finalise we had a different member of staff Alba who had a really bad attitude, we then went back to speak with the store about a damaged item that was sent and again she was very rude laughing and saying she didn’t care and basically saying what do you want me to do about it. My wife is heavily pregnant and we were treated like animals. She was laughing at walked away from us chewing her gum and saying she was the manager and she’s in charge. I can’t believe a company like ikea have staff who treat their customers so badly.

Fabulous furniture. Using both recycled and new different kinds of wood. Artistic, natural designs. They will make whatever you are wanting if they don’t have it in stock. One warning…they are not cheap !

We ordered and received a complete kitchen. Unfortunately, the ceramic countertop of the kitchen island was made from two pieces. The seam is not flush, has a noticeable step, and the overall workmanship is sloppy. In addition, a large drawer front was stained with oil during installation. Since we had to pay for the kitchen 100% upfront, Banni shows absolutely no interest in rectifying these defects – despite multiple complaints, including directly to their head office in Madrid. They wanted another approx. €400 for the front drawer and they said the could not do anything about the cover – unbelievable! Everyone is welcome to look at the bad work.

This furniture shop has many exclusive yet very reasonably priced furniture including outdoor furniture and lightings. We bought our sunbeds with thick cushions and sturdy parasol there and are very satisfied with the friendly service and very prompt delivery. The only regret I have is not discovering this store earlier when I was furnishing my apartment last year.
