We had the worst experience ever!!! The nanny they sent was completely unqualified, left my 2 years old nephew unattended and he fell into the pool. When she had to travel with the family, she abandoned the job abroad. Totally irresponsible and unacceptable service. we never got her references only a video of her , and the company sell her as the best of the best …, making us think we got the best Lady and must keep her

After a short period they presented us a very qualified candidate that has now worked with us for over 6 weeks and I’d have only good things to say about her. I strongly advise against using Mary Poppins Agency. Despite living between Marbella and New York for 10 years and being very familiar with the going rates for domestic help in Spain, this agency quoted us an inflated salary — more than double the standard — reaching over €2,500/month for a housekeeper. Even our lawyers flagged the amount as irregular and risky. It felt clear that this inflated salary was tied to the agency’s own fee, which makes their insistence on such a number extremely suspicious. Especially after I wanted to replace the employee they still insisted on this rate even though some of my demands were removed. That’s when the cost became even more suspicious. We also felt they believed they could take advantage of us simply because I am American — even though I have been living and hiring people in Spain for nearly a decade and know very well what the true market rates are. We were told the candidate was exceptional and fully vetted (deserving of this inflated rate) but almost nothing aligned with what we were promised. Her background was misrepresented, she had little domestic experience, and serious issues were never disclosed — including a past domestic abuse arrest in the U.S. Either the agency failed to check or knowingly ignored this. The employee herself voluntarily told us her real background (janitor and restaurant work, not private homes recently – more than 2 years ago) and contradicted nearly everything the agency had told us. Before traveling to the U.S., we made it clear we could not offer a contract at such an inflated salary. She insisted she wanted the job anyway — partly because it gave her the chance to see her daughter in America. Yet after we paid for her extremely expensive travel, she quit just 7 days into a planned 3-month stay, leaving us with roughly €7,000 in losses. It became clear she had used us to get into the United States, and to this day she remains in the country unaccounted for. This has put us at huge risk, as we do not know where she is or what her intentions are. Mary Poppins also failed to disclose that she had repeatedly visited their office expressing anxiety about the role and about traveling with us. This information would have been critical for us to know, as her erratic behavior only made sense after the fact. The entire process left us feeling misled, exploited, and unsafe. This agency is neither professional nor trustworthy. Be warned: they overcharge, misrepresent candidates, and fail to properly screen the people they place inside family homes.

Maria was very responsive even with the time difference from US and she was quick to help us find the best nanny for our family while traveling in Spain. The nanny we found was professional, kind, friendly and great with our family! Thank you so much!

Both of my children have been going to Nuna for the past 9 months, and we honestly couldn’t be happier. From the very beginning, it felt like such a warm, safe, and trusted place. The teachers are incredibly kind, caring, and patient with the children, and you can truly feel how much love they put into their work every day. They learned so much already and also Spanish! Our son started at NUNA when he was just one year old, and he has now been attending for almost a year. From the very beginning, we felt such a warm, home-like atmosphere. Amazing place we had three months of summer camp and my 3 1/2 years old son Absolutely loved being there. Teachers are sweetest and owner always in touch with parents. My daughter attended Nuna for just over 2 years and adored every single one of her teachers ❤️ and my son will be attending the school in September 💙 they serve homemade food everyday and speak both English and Spanish. It was never a struggle to get my daughter out of the house in the mornings as she was always super exited to go to school!!! Working with The Governess & Co was an absolute pleasant experience. They made my trip a memorable one .They have arranged a couple of meetings with the Babysitters before I arrive. They made sure that I have the best fit for my self and daughter. I couldn’t imagine the trip traveling for the first time with my one year old by myself, but they made it such an amazing trip. They were always responsive to my needs and their quick reply to my text and of course, a special things to Marta who was a more than helpful and super kind to my daughter and indeed responsible. Our daughter has been at Wendy’s Kindergarten since we moved to Spain from Scotland about six months ago. Not only is she the best at understanding Spanish out of all of us after only a few months but she is happy and loves to go into nursery. Anna and all the staff are so kind and caring and our daughter comes home full of fun stories and love for all the staff! We get regular photos and updates about what they do during the day. The Kindergarten came recommended to us and we couldn’t be more delighted with our choice for Libby!

My daughter attending Wendy First school for almost 6 month now and she is so happy there – it feels like a second home to her. The teachers create a carring, loving and most important safe environment for kids. My daughter absolutely loves in there! Kids are involved in all type of fun and developing activities throughout the day. which my daughter so happily sharing with me after school. We also get regular updates on a day from her teachers. We started school with no knowledge of Spanish and it was so quick for my daughter to learn to understand and learned to count, in Spanish! A couple of days ago, we visited the school and something left us quite uneasy. Without the educators noticing, we were able to hear how they were addressing the children, especially one of them. While they were in the courtyard, she spoke to one of the little ones in a rather unpleasant way, with a tense tone that was clearly inappropriate for a children’s environment. The situation impacted us because the child was not doing anything out of line, and yet, the treatment was harsh and disrespectful on several occasions. We understand that complicated moments can arise in the day-to-day, but precisely in a nursery school, patience, calm, and respectful communication are expected at all times. As parents, we leave our children in the hands of the center, and these types of attitudes are completely unacceptable. It is worth noting that it was only 11:15 in the morning… We were also surprised to be told that the teachers rotate between several centers, as we consider it important for children to have stable figures in their daily routine. In our case, after what we witnessed, it did not convey the trust we were looking for and was the deciding factor in ruling out this school.Hace un par de días fuimos a visitar la escuela y hubo algo que nos dejó bastante intranquilos. Entendemos que en el día a día pueden surgir momentos complicados, pero precisamente en una escuela infantil se espera paciencia, calma y una comunicación respetuosa en todo momento. Como padres, dejamos a nuestros hijos en manos del centro y este tipo de actitudes son completamente inaceptables. I used Childcare Costa Del Sol multiple times over a 3 week period to babysit four babies. Virginia responded super quickly each time, and always found brilliant sitters even though it was high season. All of the sitters we had were professional, very friendly and we felt entirely comfortable leaving our babies with them. Will definitely be using again

Thanks to Childcare Costa Del Sol, my evenings were relax and I really felt like in vacation because they found Laura (also a french speaker) for our 3,5 yo daughter,… and it was perfect. Laura was just fantastic, we wish she could come back with us at home. Easy communication, costs are super clear and fair. I would contact them again for sure if we come back to Marbella. We had several nannies from this service help us during a wedding and they were phenomenal looking after our children. Laura looked after our 1 and 3 year old and was great with them. Will definitely use the service again.

Virginia took care of our 1-year old daughter during 3 evenings this week (we stayed at the Marbella Club Med). I was very relaxed during all the time she was with my daughter. She is extremely kind and reliable. I warmly recommend her services and will not hesitate to communicate her contact details to any friend of mine who will be going to Marbella.

Before you could even want to use this service they charge you and then you have to read all of the small letters because if you dont, you’ll end up paying extra and extra for the smallest things. They are way to overpriced for an “agency” that even have the id papers of the babysitters! I am still waiting to get my money back because I didn’t had change on me. Its like their ignoring that fact! Glad i have found another agency thats not charging the jackpot!

Super responsive and supportive of our needs. The childcare professional was just that and more too. We felt very secure and happy knowing our baby was in good hands. Highly recommend!
