A wonderful holiday at this gorgeous hotel. We had a large beautiful suite (V31) in a traditional Spanish style with all the mod cons which was on the top floor of this block in a quiet location but within easy reach of both the vibrant Plaza with its wide range of excellent restaurants that came alive at night and the relaxing beach area with its beach club facilities pool and range of restaurants|We particularly liked the restaurant offering at the beach. Having a small version of the main Nobu restaurant there in a lovely outdoor setting shaded from the sun by a pergola of bio diverse plants with an integrated mist system to keep us cool when required made for a very special experience. |I have had the opportunity to stay at some of the best hotel chains in the world including the One and Only, Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons, Oberoi Eden Rock etc and this hotel without a doubt had the best breakfast offering I have ever experienced. It was unbelievable and included and if you have kids it included a chocolate fountain!|The staff at the hotel went out of their way to make the holiday enjoyable and that included everyone from the restaurant and spa staff to the reception and concierge staff. We even liked the thoughtful touch of a little something left for my wife on her birthday even though we had not told them about it. |Very much look forward to coming back soon.

Let me start this with saying this is my first time leaving a bad review, as usually, I am very understandable. Very disappointing experience. At $1700 per night per room, the quality felt more like a $100-a-night hotel. The room was in poor condition, the bathrooms had mold, water in the shower would not drain and the overall property felt old and extremely poorly maintained. The swimming pool was dirty, and the beach setup was another huge disappointment, not something I would expect at a five star resort. After seeing the condition of the hotel, we decided to cut our vacation short and leave early. This hotel is nowhere near worth the price.

Beautiful resort with fantastic service but very disappointed that the front pool by the beach now has a minimum spend of €200 per bed, per day for residents!! Only free access to the two remaining pools and not enough beds for the whole resort and the Airbnb’s!!||||Never stayed in such a premium hotel where you have a minimum spend to use their main pool and hardly any beds if you do want to pay!||||Fully understand if people want to come that aren’t staying they must pay, unfortunately not catering for families any more and after many happy years we won’t be coming again!

Puente Romano is one of my favourite hotels I’ve ever stayed in, and one I still think about long after leaving.||The breakfasts are incredible—especially at La Petite Maison, where you can enjoy amazing food with beautiful sea views. The whole hotel is surrounded by lush greenery, so it feels more like staying in tropical gardens than in the middle of Marbella.||I also love that some of Marbella’s best restaurants are right here in the hotel, so every evening can be a completely different experience. Whether you feel like relaxing at the spa, working out in the gym, or playing tennis or padel, there’s always something to do.||What really makes it all come together is the fantastic service. Everyone is so welcoming and attentive, making every stay feel effortless and special.||I can’t recommend Puente Romano enough—it’s a place I’ll happily return to again and again.

Puente Romano is the place to be in Marbella when you are looking to be in the heart of the buzz. With it’s spacious garden and large rooms, this resort makes you feel intimate as though you live in an traditional luxurious Andalusian village. The bedrooms are renovated and have very comfortable facilities. The pools are themed (Coya, Nobu pool and more) There is wonderful staff that is always handy to help. The resort has the coolest gym and spa from six senses. The tennis club and kids club is their unique value too! Overall a memorable stay to have a staycation or discover Marbella.

It was a wonderful stay at the Marbella club hotel. The service was exceptionally welcoming, and we loved the beautiful interior design and atmosphere. We especially appreciated the large number of swimming pools, with separate areas for both adults and children. Every guest can find something comfortable and enjoyable here. The restaurants on the property were excellent, both for lunch and dinner, and the breakfasts were outstanding. We will definitely return to this hotel on our next visit.

I’ve been coming to Marbella Club for years, and I’ve always loved the unique atmosphere that made it feel like a true home away from home. Unfortunately, during this stay, that feeling was missing. While the hotel remains beautiful, I found the staff to be overly intrusive. We were repeatedly interrupted for minor issues and unnecessary check-ins, which made it difficult to relax and enjoy our privacy. Instead of feeling looked after, we felt constantly disturbed. What made Marbella Club so special in the past was its effortless, discreet service—you felt genuinely at home. Sadly, that magic seems to have faded. It’s still a wonderful property, but it no longer feels like the Marbella Club I remember. I sincerely hope the management brings back the understated hospitality and sense of comfort that made this hotel truly exceptional.

Beautiful hotel. Only complaint is that hotel guests do not have priority. If you book, El Patio’s outside dining may not be available. If you are going for the full experience, I would call ahead before booking as their amenities cannot accommodate all hotel guests.

Wow. This hotel is 11/10. It’s hard to fault anything about this hotel. It’s expensive, but it’s worth every Euro! The Restaurants are all incredible, the Pools are beautiful, especially the chilled adults only garden pool. The staff are fabulous, attentive and friendly. The rooms are lovely, modern touches in old classic Spanish style low rise buildings spread throughout the vast hotel property. We stayed in a garden view suite The gardens are beautiful.||This is a relaxing and incredible slice of paradise in a busy a vibrant part of Marbella. ||One of, if not the best hotel we have ever stayed at.

Khaled AlQemlass

I have been coming to Marbella Club Hotel every year, and it has always been one of my favorite places to stay. Unfortunately, this year’s visit was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had here. The most disappointing part of my stay was the treatment we received at El Patio. A staff member named Sofia was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. Despite having a confirmed reservation, we were not seated, and the situation was handled very poorly. What made the experience even more frustrating was that the manager did nothing to resolve the issue. As loyal guests who have chosen Marbella Club year after year, I expected much better customer service and a genuine effort to help. It’s very disappointing to see such a decline in hospitality at a hotel that has always been known for its exceptional service. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously, as this experience has completely changed my impression of the hotel.

This is by far the best hotel in Marbella. The heritage of this Andalusian estate from the Prince Alfonso and its renovations are impeccable. The staff is very kind and attentive, always on time and very polite. Their amenities are impressive from their lush gardens to their orto. The restaurants are succulent and the most impressive is their beach club pontoon. They also have a mesmerising thalasso spa that is open from 8 am to 8 pm. I have never had such a good breakfast buffet with healthy options and their signature jamón ibérico. Truly a magical stay especially for families as they have a beautiful kids club. The highlight is their finca ana a special place for in house guests only to relax and unwind along with their holistic studio. The rooms are spacious, elegantly decorated and with great bedding that is very comfortable.

francesm1991

I’m sure that, in its heyday, Marbella Club was a truly beautiful and distinguished property. Sadly, our experience felt more like style over substance.||For anyone looking for an elegant, tranquil and genuinely discerning hotel, this may not be the right choice. Breakfast was consistently hectic and chaotic, with the terrace struggling to accommodate guests when the hotel was at full occupancy. We appreciate that the outdoor setting and surrounding nature mean birds can occasionally make a mess. However, being shown to a table covered in bird faeces, despite paying approximately £3,000 per night, was unacceptable. Even after we highlighted it to staff, no meaningful effort was made to clean the table properly or replace the linen.||The food across the property was generally good, and the pool staff were undeniably attentive. However, as the stay progressed, we found ourselves continually lowering our expectations.||There was very little sense of personalised service. Rather than feeling valued as individual guests, the experience felt transactional, as though the focus was simply to move guests through as efficiently and profitably as possible.||The rooms are also in need of refurbishment. On arrival, we were allocated a room below the category we had booked and paid for. Reception initially tried to explain that room categories were based on size rather than the photographs displayed online. After I produced our reservation correspondence and demonstrated that the room was incorrect, the hotel eventually acknowledged the mistake. We then waited approximately three hours while the correct room was prepared.||Marbella Club may appeal to those looking for an Instagramable backdrop where they can showcase their latest luxury purchases, pay a premium and move on. However, beneath the image, we found the hotel lacking the understated elegance, refinement and genuine hospitality its reputation suggests.||The sense of old-world class now feels more like a memory of a bygone era than the reality of the current guest experience.

We have hosted our InterNations Marbella networking event at Alabardero Beach Club for the third year in a row, and once again it was a fantastic evening. The location right on the Paseo Maritimo is simply unbeatable, with beautiful sea views and the sunset as a backdrop. The team, especially Lucia, is always professional, flexible and easy to work with. The atmosphere is relaxed, the space works perfectly for a standing networking event, and our international guests love it every time. Highly recommended for any kind of event on the Costa del Sol.

This is a lovely place to enjoy lunch if you’re looking for a relaxing atmosphere. Sitting by the sea, listening to the sound of the waves while enjoying a drink, is definitely the highlight of the experience. The drinks were very good, and the staff were polite and friendly throughout our visit. We shared the paella, but unfortunately it was quite disappointing. It wasn’t bad, but it lacked flavor and felt rather ordinary. Considering the beautiful location and the overall atmosphere, we expected much more from such a classic Spanish dish. The prices are a little on the expensive side, so the food didn’t quite justify the cost. While the service was pleasant, it didn’t stand out in any particular way. Overall, this is a nice place to relax with a drink and enjoy the beautiful seaside setting. However, if you’re visiting primarily for the food, there are probably better options nearby

This is one of the best waterfront locations in Marbella, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The views are absolutely stunning, the vibes are incredible and the food is amazing. It’s the perfect place to chill on your holiday. We had a few starters and drinks that were served very fast. Prime location. Excellent place. Lovely wait staff. Superb cellar. Great atmosphere. The food lets it down. Good quality ingredients being either being pre cooked and re heated or left standing way too long. Something not right in the kitchen. Large tables not served all together. Mains arriving before starters. This could easily become the best place on the entire front. If it were mine, I’d fire the entire kitchen.

We booked in for an afternoon party (1pm-11pm) for a stag do. There were 4 us in total so took a large bed space in the VIP area worth it. We were at the back of the resort over looking the entire pool area with a great view out to the beach and sea also. Included package with champagne and soft drinks to start with waiter service throughout. The staff were excellent, very quick and accommodating. There was a mix of familes and parties through the day, each in their own respective areas but you were able to use the entire area and walk freely anywhere. Excellent food, drinks and facilities, all spotless cleaned and maintained throughout. There were a couple loose flooring boards in the VIP area which had to be maintained duriing the day through heavy foot fall but nothing promlematic. Prices are steep but the area demands it really, its an expectation. A great day of entertainment and enjoyment.

Ocean Club Marbella is an amazing place to spend the day — the vibe is super chill, the environment stylish yet relaxed, and the service was spot on. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh and well-prepared. We had 6 liters of rosé wine and 2 bottles of champagne — everything was top quality and served perfectly chilled. The whole experience felt luxurious without being too formal. Great music, beautiful setting, and the perfect spot to enjoy the Marbella sun with friends. Stylish, super clean, and very well organized. You don’t choose your bed – the staff assigns it, which actually keeps things flowing smoothly. Service was excellent all day, the crowd a relaxed and slightly older mix (35+), and the music stayed pleasantly in the background. One thing that surprised us a bit: there were quite a few families with small kids around – not exactly what you’d expect at a beach club vibe-wise, but still fine. Another note: on windy days, umbrellas stay closed unless guests explicitly take the risk – which makes sense, but it’s good to know in advance. Big plus: you can stay until 9 PM and really enjoy a full beach day.

Pool is big and the water is clean and has a perfect temperature. Service is very good and proffesional. The prices are quite expensive. Food is good but also expensive. If you are willing to spend around 250€ per person for a day (with tickets incl.) then it’s a great place to go.

Food and drinks were decent, it’s priced as you would expect in this part of Spain at a Beach Club. Service started out a bit slow, but picked up after the first drink and they found us a table as walk-ins. Wash rooms and the venue in general is very nice and well maintained with friendly staff. This place is very kid friendly, which may be a positive for some, but personally I don’t want to pay €250+ for a bed and have screaming children running around.

Great lunch here with a group of 12. We had the deinksnpackage for an extra £35. The vibe was brilliant, DJ was amazing, and the food was incredible. The staff were lovely and really made the experience. Only issue was at the end when splitting the bill one staff member was quite rude and unhelpful, said she wouldn’t split the newly £1000 bill between 12 of us as it was inconvenient for her. Although another did sort it for us!

we came here for dinner and really enjoyed the food. I really appreciated the amount of vegan / vegetarian options and everything was delicious. However I do have to say that I found the music (live singer) very loud. As the evening went on, it became increasingly difficult to understand and have a conversation. I wonder if this is due to us going on a Saturday, as the restaurant is connected to a bar. Other than that I really enjoyed the evening and would come here again! Really great food.

I would highly recommend this restaurant. The food was made to a high standard and was reasonably priced, especially for the quality! The drinks and cocktails were delicious. Entertainment was brilliant. The music was on point, a mix of DJ, singer and saxophone. You cannot go wrong in booking this for a night out. Mixed ages, just everyone wanting to eat good food, have a dance and have a great night!

We booked a cocktail-making experience at a bar in Marbella as part of a hen do, and it was honestly one of the highlights of the entire trip! Alfredo and Eric were absolutely incredible from start to finish. They were hilarious, full of energy, and made everyone feel completely at ease. Their sense of humour had us laughing the whole time, but they were also so kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure we all had the best experience possible. They struck the perfect balance between fun and teaching us how to make great cocktails, and you could really tell how passionate they are about what they do. The whole session felt special because of them—they went above and beyond to make it unforgettable. If their manager sees this, Alfredo and Eric truly deserve recognition for how amazing they are at their jobs. They turned a fun activity into something exceptional, and we’re still talking about it now! Thank you both for such a brilliant experience—we had SO much fun and would recommend this to anyone visiting Marbella!

LOV this dinner show! 4 of us visited last night and had the best evening. The hospitality welcoming and so friendly. The welcome drink was strong! 😂🍸 We shared a sushi platter that was incredible, followed by the truffle pasta which was absolutely delicious. The live singing, dancing and incredible costumes made the whole experience so much fun. Thankyou to Pablo for looking after us and making sure everything was perfect. We can’t wait to come back! 🤍

Nice atmosphere that they have with the good shows they produce and good performances from the people they represent in. The food was below average it might be much better but it’s okay. People working there was good as well. The thing about being leaving the restaurant when we are about to step to our car someone approached us and asked us to show him the bill that we paid 🤔 we was like what? But he insisted and he got rejected from our side. This kind of attitude makes me think 💭 twice about this place. As they know we paid in advance and the extra cost was paid as well. Must provide the audience a ticket 🎫 once they paid the bill. And if this guy asked us we might provide him this confirmation ticket that we are not going anywhere without paying them!!

Really great restaurant! Beautiful interior, felt like a movie. Great and friendly service and the flamenco dance was amazing! Food was really tasty, I highly recommend the homemade nachos with guacamole. Hands down the best ones I’ve ever had. Sangria was a 6/10. Not very flavourful, quite watery but the presentation and service was on point. I would definitely recommend booking dinner at The Farm and I will for sure return.

Drinks were fantastic! Mocktail was spicy though and I did not personally like that (should’ve read the description more carefully). Appetizers: The guacamole was really good. The cappuccino soup was OK. Not personally a fan of coffee in my soup though. The octopus was good according to the people I dined with. Entrees: the lamb was really good according to the people I ate with but it was chewy and overcooked in my personal opinion. Same with the steak, I asked for medium and it was well-done. Still very delicious though, as they had grilled it. The miso Hake fish was bland. And of course the flamenco was fantastic. I would recommend all to come see at least once while in Malaga. Kind of sucks that you have to shell out 48 euro per person on food that isn’t that great (the steak is extra charge of money)

Unfortunately I would not recommend visiting the Farm Restaurant. We had scallops to share for a starter which were nice. I ordered the aubergine dish for my main. It was tiny with no flavour. Half an aubergine that was slightly stuffed with quinoa and two cherry tomatoes. We told the waiter this and nothing happened. I’m surprised the chef was even happy for this to go out of the kitchen. To charge €21 for half a flat small aubergine is horrendous. We had to go elsewhere afterwards to get more food. My husband had a steak, which he said was very good. Pictures look pretty, but cannot explain how small this portion was.

I don’t know why The Farm only have a total score of 4.3, it almost deterred me. This place is amazing! The ambiance inside is lovely, the staff is super attentive, the food was phenomenal, & the cherry on top was the flamenco dancers. The guac & chips, which are gluten free 🙌🏻, were delicious. The risotto was so different than the US & had amazing flavor. My husband’s miso hake was great, the peas added a lovely touch & are sooo fresh. The Porn Star martini was one of the best mixed drinks I have had in some time. I don’t love the taste of strong alcohol, the alcohol was masked perfectly well with amazing flavors/ingredients. I truly was blown away by this restaurant. We would eat here all the time if we were locals. Must try!

I can’t tell you how incredible this restaurant is. The food is sensational as are the drinks and most importantly THE VIBES. I’ve been here with friends and family and no one has ever complained (in fact they triumph it!) Our waiter Angel was so lovely and hospitable and I couldn’t be more pleased with our experience. Recommend to anyone visiting Marbella!

The Secret Garden featured by this restaurant offers far more than a food-related experience. The place manages to offer a very authentic farm atmosphere where one would least expect it. Might be a bit pricy, but it’s definitely worth it.

Wonderful lunch experience! Organic concept works very well. Waiter was friendly, knowledgeable and able to have conversation about the restaurant and organic eating. The food was delicious – very beautifully presented and a pleasure to eat. Of course, coming from the cold north – it was fantastic to be able to sit on the patio in March without freezing.😍 Will definitely visit again if I ever get back to Marbella.

We stopped here for what we thought would be a ‘quick drink’ but ended up waiting over 45 minutes for a bottle of water, Coca Cola and an iced coffee. We repeatedly had to ask the waiter where our order was; the first time, he actually informed us that the other waiter hadn’t taken our order as he couldn’t understand us. When we came to contest the bill, as it came to over 17€, they said they couldn’t remove the drinks as they understood the service was ‘bad’ but couldn’t do anything retrospectively. We were repeatedly told that the bar staff were ‘struggling’ but no formal apology or compensation was given. Would avoid and do not recommend unless you want to waste a significant amount of time on your holiday.

We stopped by for a drink and had a lovely experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, with carpets laid over the sand for added comfort, a thoughtful touch. The open layout creates a seamless indoor-outdoor feel, with no doors separating the space from the outside. The staff were exceptionally kind, and the drinks were great. A perfect spot to unwind. The food looks great but unfortunately we just ate so didn’t have a meal here.

This was my first visit, and overall, the setting was beautiful. I really liked the beds, the beach, and the view—it was all very nice. The food was good as well, but unfortunately, the service did not meet the same standard. While serving my wine, the server was distracted—talking to another staff member—and carelessly spilled many drops of wine. It created a visible trail from my glass, across my plate and the table, all the way to where he left the bottle. I understand that it can get busy and staff need to communicate, but this was quite unprofessional. We also asked whether the salad contained beetroot, and the server seemed confused and said no. When it arrived, it did have beetroot. This place has great potential, but I believe the staff would benefit from better training especially in wine service, menu knowledge, and how to properly serve high-end clientele.

An absolute disaster… never in my life had I paid so much for such a badly cooked low quality dinner. Dirty scratched silverware I woul not use even to cook, plates were dirty. Red prawns raw and cold …4 at 48 euros. Fried baby squids with feathers… and I am being generous… Do not go there if you want quality

La Milla might just the best combination of location (right on the beach), quality food and excellent service. All of this comes at a price, not above the area, but you are still paying 40 Euros to 60 Euros for a fish or meat main. The langostinos al pil pil (27 Euros) where perfectly cooked in a deep steel pot, while the dorada (40 Euros) was perfectly seasoned with garlic, oil and spices. The cheesecake (11,50 Euros) was outstanding as well. Miguel (a native of Cadiz) and the rest of the staff at La Milla are gregarious, efficient and proactive. We showed up about half an hour before opening time without a reservation and they looked after us until we left three hours later. La Milla offers a beach bed rental adjacent to the restaurant thay ranges between 40 Euros for a single cushion seat or 180 Euros for a bed.

Starlight is the perfect 5 star live music festival. All seated, great sound, fantastic views. Superb sophisticated atmosphere. Well worth the money. The Pet Shop Boys Perfectly crafted performance was well suited to this venue. With Neil Tenants poetic vocals clear and melodic over the music.

Fantastic experience across the board. Very stylishly presented venue, lots of helpful staff. Extremely well organised given the extraordinary location, with shuttle busses coming and going without hiccups. Sound quality is superb, BUT I would avoid the sides of the stalls in the front 3 rows given the noise level and obstruction from panels and camera etc. Went to see Kool& the Gang last night. It´s ok, but the absence JT Taylor lead singer and face of the band is something I still can not get over. Still, a good performance.

I was just there for the UB40 concert and have to say what a fantastic venue the Starlight is. Not only aesthetically, but organizationally, it’s very well-run. LOTS of staff who know exactly what they’re doing (kudos to the young lady who took charge to retrieve my phone that dropped below my seat into the rafters. She was phenomenal!), and well-placed people everywhere to ensure smooth flow, safety, great dining options, lots of space, etc. It’s one of the best (and best-run) venues I’ve seen in the world. Also one of the most beautiful and well-planned. Again, HUGE thank you to the young woman (Starlight staff) who led the charge to retrieve my phone. When security really didn’t know what to do, she and her team impressively took control. Fantastic venue, lots of dining and drink options; will definitely return. Greetings from Salobreña. ☀️

Terrible experience this year, they’ve moved the free parking miles away with the old car park costing €50 and absolutely empty. Just feels like a cash grab. We were here 3 times last year and loved each night. Very disappointing
