Kym Geier

This meal was so outstanding we didn’t want it to end. The view was great, the service amazing but the food – out of this world. The flavours, the creativity, the depth were mind blowing. Our waiter Nikita was knowledgeable, kind and considerate (especially to non Spanish speaking visitors). The pace of the meal was perfect – we started with just entrees and that was more than acceptable by Nikita, then he helped us with the mains and then desert. There was never any rush or over salesmaney tactics. Just incredible food done incredibly well. A must if you are in Marbella or Spain for that matter.

There are evenings you simply want to relive. Last night was definitely one of them. The Tuna Cut Show was truly exceptional. The freshest tuna, beautifully crafted dishes, a wonderful atmosphere, live music, and impeccable service came together to create a truly memorable experience. Every detail was thoughtfully executed—from the professionalism of the team to the outstanding cuisine and the impressive variety of dishes. It was an unforgettable evening. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back! ✨🍣

The view, the portions, the prices, the service and the live music is just perfect. Among all these tourists traps, this one is worth a visit and definitely a remarkable example for a great restaurant. Also no long waiting times even though it was quiet busy. We definitely would pay it a visit again if we are in Marbella again!

Ending our trip at Luini Sea View in Old Marbella was the perfect decision. This is one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve experienced. The food stays true to authentic Italian flavors while adding a refined modern twist. It’s the kind of restaurant that deserves to expand across Europe and the Middle East. A special thank you to Daria, whose warm hospitality and genuine friendliness gave us a wonderful first impression. She made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The chicken pizza completely changed my opinion of chicken pizza, it was perfectly balanced and absolutely delicious. The garden salad had a beautifully balanced dressing, the Pil Pil was spicy and full of flavor, the Paccheri “Cacio e Pepe” was an absolute must, and the lemon sorbet was the perfect finish with its refreshing balance of sweet and sour. An unforgettable dining experience and the perfect way to end our Marbella trip. Highly recommended!

Great place for Italian food! We sat inside and it was cool and pleasant. We had starters of pate and Vitello Tonnato which were fresh and delicious. Their pizza and pasta were great. There was no service and we had to wait to order drinks, we noticed that the staff were having lunch and there was almost no one to serve us. We will definitely come back again for the food and the atmosphere.

I enjoyed a lovely dinner at this restaurant. I reserved a table before coming. The waiter who looked after our table was incredibly welcoming and attentive, and we felt very well taken care of throughout the evening. The food arrived quickly, and the pizza was absolutely delicious, my mum even said it was the best pizza she’s ever tasted (and she’s tried quite a few!). The atmosphere in the restaurant was cosy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed evening. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touch of being offered a blanket to keep warm during the January chill, it made the experience feel even more special. I would highly recommend this place and would happily return.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Mini India Restaurant in Marbella. From start to finish, everything was spot on. We began with the meat samosas and chicken pakora, both of which were packed with flavour and cooked perfectly. For the mains, the chicken tikka masala was the real standout — genuinely the best I’ve ever had. The pilau rice was light, fragrant, and the perfect accompaniment. We also ordered the lamb balti, which was equally impressive and easily one of the best Indian dishes I’ve tasted. A special mention for the garlic naan — absolutely incredible. Light, slightly crispy, beautifully coloured, and full of flavour. One of those dishes you immediately want more of as soon as it’s gone. The service was excellent throughout — attentive, friendly, and efficient without being overbearing. We also enjoyed a fresh, perfectly poured beer on draft, which rounded off the meal nicely. I genuinely couldn’t fault anything. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be back.

One of the best Indian food I have ever had! I had the Chana masala & pea rice. The Masala flavor profile was so rich, creamy, & savory. The peas were super fresh in the rice. I can’t recall what my father had, but they said it was phenomenal as well. My husband had a chicken dish that was amazing. The food was super hot (which is my preference) when delivered. Highly recommend this place. We would eat here all the time if we were local! 10/10

We had read the reviews and decided to give it a go for ourselves, and we were NOT disappointed!! We shared a chicken pakora to start, and for our mains we had the chicken tikka with a side sauce of Rogan Josh, and the chicken Handi which was recommended by our server. Both dishes were amazing, fresh and full of flavour!! Worth the drive/taxi if you aren’t local as the prices are so reasonable and the food is unreal!!

We discovered this fantastic Indian restaurant during our holiday in Marbella, and it quickly became one of the highlights of our trip. Celebrated my birthday with dinner recently at Ta Kumi in Marbella – it was an amazing sushi experience! My husband and I both enjoyed the 8 course tasting menu which was a journey through the sea. Some highlights included the oyster starter, the truffled tuna tartare and the sweet shrimps, prepared two ways. But honestly, every single course we had was fresh and a pleasant surprise. The restaurant’s sommelier recommended a nice bottle of sake that paired really well with our meal, which rounded out the meal. I highly recommend Ta Kumi, especially when you’re looking for an experience, and not just a nice sushi dinner.

Takumi in Marbella had been our go to for years. My photos don’t do it justice because we always eat before we remember to take a proper photo. The entire staff and the owner are amazing- so wonderful, helpful and cool. And the toro truffle quail egg special is insanely delicious- literally to die for. I took a photo but it seriously does not do it justice. Let your stomach decide for itself. Our go to list is the above mentioned special, the otoro nigiri with caviar, the butter fish nigiri with truffle cream and they have the BEST wakimi salad. And if you love Nobu’s spicy shrimp salad- Takumi does it even better. Honestly, if you love Japanese sushi done right, you cannot go wrong here. Cannot wait to visit them again when we’re in Marbella! 🤗❤️

Ta-Kumi is an excellent sushi restaurant with a strong focus on quality. The fish was incredibly fresh, the ingredients were top-notch, and every dish was prepared with great attention to detail. The presentation was beautiful, the service was professional and friendly, and the overall dining experience felt refined without being pretentious. You can really appreciate the care that goes into every plate. If you’re looking for high-quality Japanese cuisine in Marbella, Ta-Kumi is definitely worth visiting. We were recommended this sushi restaurant by multiple people and it absolutely lived up to its expectations. Jorge was a dedicated server who not only made our experience unforgettable but knew exactly what kind of sushi to recommend to us. It is absolutely worth the money, for three of us we spent €190 and we left completely stuffed and happy. There was even a complimentary chocolate we were given that might have been the best hazelnut truffle that I have ever eaten. Thank you to the team at Ya-Kumi for a fantastic evening.

I stumbled upon this gem after it was recommended to me while searching for a great Japanese spot in Marbella and it went beyond all my expectations! We were three people and all agreed: everything was perfect, from the incredibly kind service (they even found us a table without a reservation!) to the flawless quality of the food. We ordered a bit of everything, and every single dish was amazing but the anchovy nigiri was my absolute favorite, just wow! Huge thanks to the wonderful team Christophe, Cristian, Xorche, the sweetest hostess, and the lovely manager. You truly made our night!

What a place! This is one of the best restaurants in Marbella. And not taking into account just Japanese ones. The food is so delicious that you can’t stop ordering. Sushi, sashimi, wagyu. You name it. One better than the other. See the picture and try to imagine everything else was as good looking and tasty. Best quality food, best quality service. We were the group of six perfectly served by Alvaro himself. Being not only the owner but also the chef he is a perfect storyteller giving all the information on what is served and how it is prepared. He made also recommendations that we followed and felt like lottery winners each time another piece of food landed on our table. A sense of humor, passion and love to what he is doing need to be well appreciated. Good wine choice. We topped our meal with fantastic deserts not mentioning mind blowing Vega Sicilia Unico. One of the best culinary experiences ever!

We reserved a table for dinner on the day. We sat near the front of restaurant looking out to the sea. We didn’t have any starters, for our mains we both had lamb dhansak, one mild the other spicey with naan bread and my husband had peas pilau 🍚 rice. He had a couple of glasses of red wine and I had a glass of rosé within a Sprite to make a sprizter. Our meals arrived, they were small portions especially the naan bread. It was nicely cooked and service was quick, but I had very little lamb in my dhansak I ate all of it before finishing the naan bread. Whereas my husband appeared to have a bit more lamb. The staff are pleasant, chatty and friendly.

visited today for the 2nd time after 10 years. The chef / owner comes across as extremely friendly when you enter the restaurant, however we faced a couple of things – i. they insist on ordering more and more food so they can increase the bill value ii. the chef/ owner is extremely arrogant, when we asked for a particular type of bread he got something else altogether and then started lecturing on us how he knows it all they absolutely have no idea how to speak to ths customers I run a travel agency and have sent multiple clients to this restaurant, however now I need to make sure no one i know visits this place even after all this, there was zero apology from the owner …. he charged us full amount inspite of all this and dint say sorry even once.

Truly the best Indian cuisine we’ve ever experienced! The entire experience was exceptional—from the rich, authentic flavors to the warm and welcoming service. A special shoutout to Cesar, our server, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. He even arranged for a special bread that wasn’t on the menu—an absolute standout! The personalized attention and outstanding hospitality made this meal unforgettable. A must-try for anyone who loves great food and genuine service!

Wholesome dinner experience in a country where you hardly find any Indian food. Indeed, there are too many in Marbella and we visited only this one but it was quite a pleasant experience. Food was of a proper Indian taste and preparation and quantity was also sufficient. We visited in a group of 5 with half as pure veg and the other half as non vegetarian but both groups had good and satisfying dinner experience.

I will agree with the reviews that call this a hidden gem. It definitely is. It was a little dim entering and that made us skeptical but when they started bringing food out, it was a done deal. We would make a trip back for sure

Very disappointing. After reading good reviews on here decided to try out for some Indian food, but it was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! We arrived half an hour after the opening time and had to wait for 40-50 minutes to get our food. Waiting for so long you would think we were getting something freshly cooked, but not! Samosa was frozen inside as well as all of the dishes were not fresh at all! All of the meat was hard and had a feeling it was sitting in the fridge for a week! NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!

The best place to eat in this area HANDS DOWN! I’ve been coming to Marbella for 20 years and never tried this place since it’s opened until tonight! My daughter who is a fussy eater was scoffing like no tomorrow. Helpful staff! Food was brought to our table quickly! This place is always busy and I’m glad we came here. I will definitely be coming back. Excellent menu. Extremely reasonably priced.

Had an amazing experience at Toranj Restaurant Marbella in Marbella. The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic Persian flavors, every dish tasted fresh and perfectly prepared. The kebabs were juicy, the saffron rice was incredible, and the atmosphere was elegant and cozy at the same time. Took a chance on Todanj in Marbella and overall it was a decent experience. The fresh dough bread and yogurt were absolutely delicious and probably the highlight of the meal. The presentation of the dishes was beautiful and the restaurant itself had a nice atmosphere. The downside was that the eggplant dishes were quite sour for our taste. The chicken kebab and koobideh portions were also surprisingly small, especially for the price. Some dishes were excellent while others felt a bit underwhelming. Overall, it was good but not amazing. Worth trying once for the bread, yogurt, and ambiance.

Genuinely sensational. At a concert in the arena and decided to grab some food beforehand, and having never tried Persian food before thought we’d give it a go. My partner and I both ordered a starter and a main, and there was SO much food, and all of it good – at reasonable prices for the area. Staff were very attentive and helpful, and the owner popped over for a chat and checked how the food was. Would definitely recommend and will be back.

Absolutely amazing Persian dining experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The food is truly authentic and full of rich Persian flavors. The kebabs were perfectly grilled—juicy, tender, and beautifully seasoned. The rice was fluffy and aromatic, just as it should be, and the stews (khoresh) were deeply flavorful and comforting. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and very welcoming, making you feel right at home. The atmosphere is warm and elegant, with a genuine Persian touch that adds to the whole experience. If you’re looking for real Persian cuisine in Marbella, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended, and I will definitely come back!

The best Indian food I’ve ever had. The korma was the creamiest most addictive I’ve ever had the sagwala was amazing so tasty the lamb was so tender it fell apart the nann bread so crispy and soft. The staff are so friendly and accommodating my family have came here for years and I will always be back 🫶🫶

Very disappointing experience. The order arrived in an awful condition: all the food had spilled inside the bag, the containers had come open, and almost everything was ruined. On top of that, it arrived completely cold. In the end, I had to throw everything away because it was impossible to eat. A huge disappointment. I hope they improve both their packaging and the care they take when preparing and delivering takeaway orders.

For Marbella, surprisingly good Indian food. Doesn’t match with London curry houses, but at least the food was spicy and rich in flavour. We had the lamb vindaloo that was basically only chili so my mouth was on fire throughout, garlic naan, and chicken masala, which was very good.

Mr Gujrati the owner of this poor fitted restaurant in one of Spain’s most luxurious locations. Shamefully claiming to service Indian Pakistani food. Food here neither. It’s some fake food where the owner claims that’s how they like it. Bland bland food. He told us UK people like different flavour to Spanish people. When I asked about the poor disrepair of the walls with damp and wall paper falling away. His reply was they 5 restaurants in Spain and been doing business for 22 years. Honestly worst restaurant experience of my life. No flavour and we return half of order as it was that bad. They still charged us for everything. AVOiD this place. Gulzar in Marbella is authentic Indian. Owner very polite.

Cindy Cafolla

I’ve been a fan of Mumtaz Restaurant since the 1980s, and the food has always been consistently outstanding. 😌 While the restaurant was definitely in need of a facelift, the refurbishment has completely transformed it. It’s now more comfortable, more stylish, and so much more inviting. The menu has also been refreshed with a more contemporary approach, and it works brilliantly. There are fewer dishes than before, but that’s actually a positive—it makes choosing much easier without sacrificing variety. We’ve visited twice recently, and everything we’ve ordered has been absolutely delicious. The welcome is always warm, and the entire team, from taking orders to serving the food, is exceptional. One member of staff in particular is an absolute star—so funny, so kind, and so genuinely welcoming. He deserves all the praise as it is he who most likely makes all the big tips to share with the Team and for making every visit such a pleasure. For me, everything is 10 out of 10. Mumtaz has managed to retain everything that made it special while giving it a fresh, modern feel. Highly recommended! 💯

AHMAD BAROUN

Good experience to try once with friends and family, but it’s not the best place for halal Indian food. The rice needed to be cooked a bit longer, and the lamb biryani was made with a lamb shank, which was unexpected. There was also a long wait—we queued for more than 45 minutes. The dal was very sweet, and the butter naan had barely any butter flavor. Overall, it was an okay experience, but I expected better food quality for the wait. A bit expensive around 200 euro for 4 persons.

⭐☆☆☆☆ One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. We waited in the queue for a long time, and I even have a video proving that we were there. Despite this, the staff member managing the queue insisted that she had never seen us and refused to let us in, claiming the queue was closed. What made the experience even worse was the way she treated us. She was rude, disrespectful, and insulting. She didn’t realize that I’m Moroccan and speak Moroccan Arabic, so she made insulting comments in Moroccan Arabic, assuming I wouldn’t understand. I understood every word. When I calmly asked her to show some respect and call the manager, she refused. This isn’t about not getting a tableit’s about the complete lack of professionalism, honesty, and basic respect. No customer who spends their time waiting and intends to spend their money at your restaurant deserves to be treated this way. I genuinely feel sorry for the owner because employees with this attitude can seriously damage a business’s reputation. I hope management takes this complaint seriously and ensures that no other customer is treated with such disrespect.

My husband and I went here while staying in Marbella and it was a beautiful setting and very nice food. The waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable – (we have forgotten his name but he told us that he had been to Swansea and Cardiff). He brought over mini crackers and chutney tray which was lovely and my husband had lamb shank biryani and I had lamb koftas- both were stunning – my husband loved the biryani and that it was a whole lamb shank. Beautiful restaurant and staff

Marzouq Alrajbani

I have been coming to this restaurant for more than 7 years, and this is the first time I’ve had such a disappointing experience. Unfortunately, the manager, Juan, was unprofessional and dishonest. He told us the restaurant operates on a reservation-only system and that the tables were reserved. However, as a regular customer for over seven years, I know this is simply not true. The restaurant has always operated on a first-come, first-served basis, especially during lunchtime. There was no waiting line when we arrived, and we were only seated after insisting. I also witnessed Juan telling another group that a table was reserved and that the guests would arrive within 15 minutes. They left because of this. The reality was that no one ever came, and that table remained empty for more than an hour. This made it seem like he was making excuses to turn customers away. On the other hand, I would like to sincerely thank Fadi. He was polite, welcoming, and genuinely professional. His excellent attitude was the only positive part of our visit, and he deserves recognition for the way he treats customers. I truly hope the restaurant’s management reviews how customers are treated. I’ve always enjoyed coming here, but this experience was extremely disappointing and not what I expect from a restaurant I’ve supported for so many years.
