Great tapas bar with really delicious pinchos. Everything tastes amazing, there’s a great variety, and the prices are very fair. The service is top – friendly and attentive. Overall a fantastic experience, highly recommended!

A big variety of options. It has seefood plates and meet plates. All were good and tasty. The service was quick. We didn’t wait to be seated.

Food was lovely and fresh with lots of variety on the menu! As we ordered a bunch of similar looking tapas, they were all served on one large plate so we were confused as to what was what. When we asked the waitress, she seemed confused (maybe it’s a language barrier?) as to what was actually what. On top of that, there seemed to have been a mixup of opening times as my party arrived for lunch based on what was written on Google. However, when we arrived, the man by the door told us to come back in half an hour as they were not ready…

Service was super quick. No reservation was required, but I think that might be because it was off season? We literally didn’t have to wait at all for service. The atompasher was amazing and beautiful. It has outside seating and in the winter time it’s a little chilly but you have an amazing view of all the Christmas decor they have EVERYWHERE. Again, service was awesome and they all were quick and super friendly. One of they guys stopped and chatted with our table for a few minutes. The foooood!! So delicious. The tomato cherries were SO good. And the anchovies were so fresh and yummy!! Recommend getting a few things and just sharing between the table so you can try it all! Nothing was leftover.

A great place for a tapa with a large choice of tasty and well prepared food – all by the ladies in the open kitchen. The place is very popular and super busy but service is only let down by the failure of all the meals to arrive at the sane time. Great Spanish atmosphere and food

Niloufar Taghizoghi

The location was lovely, we sat outside and really enjoyed the cool, relaxed atmosphere. Service was also a strong point; the staff were friendly, accommodating, and the food arrived quickly. Unfortunately, the food itself was quite underwhelming. It lacked flavor and presentation, which was disappointing given the setting and service. The Cherry Peppers were very inconsistent, some were cold, some warm and some were hot. The potatoes with spicy sauce had so much sauce that it wasn’t pleasant to eat.

It is quality food. A friend of mine insisted to go here, and she was not wrong. We all loved the food. The fish was perfection!

Sanaz

The restaurant is located so beautifully. It feels like you found a hidden gem and you also really did find one. The people are incredibly friendly, the patio down the stairs is like a literal dream and it was so cozy. The food was good, I still think about that Burrata Salade with vigs from their own tree’s (OMG). The waiter overheard us talking about how much we love vigs and he brought us more vigs to enjoy. I absolutely recommend coming to beautiful place

This restaurant is an amazing place for anyone who loves high-quality meat. The steaks are perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. The restaurant is surrounded by beautiful greenery, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The friendly and amazing Ana Belen service make it even better, cozy setting make the experience even better. I highly recommend this restaurant for delicious food and a wonderful dining experience.

This is a truly beautiful place, we loved the garden, the interior as well as the river. Seeing this, we had very high expectations for the food. We ordered truffle butter bread as the starter and it was very nice. Sadly, this is when our good experience started plummeting down. We ordered the leek, fish, a salad and mashed potatoes as a side. The fish was edible, but not outstanding. Unfortunately i couldn’t finish my leek, the more bites i took, the more i hated it. There was nothing special or tasty about it, eventually it became inedible for me. I was hoping maybe i can help myself with the salad. This was the worst salad i’ve ever had in my entire life, couldn’t taste anything but vinegar. At first, we’ve been hoping to order some desserts, but after our unfortunate food experience we decided not to. It’s so disappointing to see such a beautiful place having such bad food. It’s just really sad 🙁

The atmosphere is exceptional—at times, you truly forget you are in Marbella. The music is perfectly curated, creating a sophisticated and immersive ambiance. The cuisine reflects a high level of refinement, with beautifully presented and thoughtfully elaborated dishes. Dining as a group of six from different international backgrounds, we experienced a variety of impressions. The desserts, particularly the mille-feuille and crème brûlée, were visually stunning and technically well-executed, although not entirely aligned with everyone’s personal taste. The meat dishes were outstanding, and the chicken and mashed potato were well-prepared, though slightly spicy for our preference. Overall, the food is of high quality and creativity, but certain flavor profiles may lean towards the spicier side for some guests.

We visited this restaurant twice within five days. It’s a mountain restaurant with a wonderfully warm and welcoming atmosphere, where the entire staff is not only highly professional but also genuinely kind and sincere. Especially our waitress Noor was excellent. The food stands out in every way — in flavor, presentation, and visual appeal — and honestly surpasses many Michelin-starred restaurants we’ve experienced. Discovering a place that we already feel is “ours,” somewhere we’ll always want to return to, has been a real joy for us.

Fantastic restaurant in Marbella! Food is made with fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. Every single dish we ordered was amazing. Their cocktails and wines are extremely good as well. The place itself is so cozy, nicely warm for a winter evening, plus the live jazz band completed the whole ambience. Last but not least, we were served by the friendliest and most professional staff members. Special thanks to Skender, Sara, and Diego who gladly answered all the questions we had, and who gave us the best recommendations. We were a group of 4 friends from different nationalities, and they perfectly covered every conversation in Spanish, English and French. Can’t wait to visit Cascada Cocina & Bar again!

Such a lovely place, delicious food, super friendly staff, and a warm atmosphere! The tapas were excellent as always, tasty and served with a smile. Sitting on the terrace by the water makes it all the more special. One small thing I noticed: the beef tenderloin tapas, which used to be my favorite, are no longer on the menu. Maybe just temporarily unavailable? I really missed them and hope they’ll make a comeback soon!

Oyana Beach Club & Restaurant, Marbella This is simply a place you have to visit if you’re in Marbella. I could spend a long time talking about the food and drinks. The selection is extensive, the quality is excellent, and there’s something for everyone. But that’s not what makes Oyana special. The real highlight is the setting. Beautiful views, the sound of the sea, great music, and a relaxed atmosphere create an experience that is hard to describe. It’s one of those places where you naturally slow down and enjoy every moment. Yes, the service can be a little slower at times, but it’s always friendly, welcoming, and delivered with a genuine smile. On a day like this, those small imperfections are easy to forgive. I should also mention that I was invited by friends. Back home we have a saying: “Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth.” In other words, don’t criticize something you’ve been given. Even so, I always try to be fair and honest in my reviews. And honestly, Oyana impressed me. Not just because of the food or the drinks, but because of its unique atmosphere. If you’re looking for a beach club in Marbella where you can truly relax and enjoy the Mediterranean lifestyle, Oyana is well worth a visit.

Once again a fabulous visit. Beautiful setting, lovely service and outstanding food. Right next to the beach with stunning views and gorgeous decor and interior. Excellent service – incredibly attentive and quick. Divine food as ever – squid was beautiful. Bread and aioli to start is a must. That aioli is delicious. Beautiful cava sangria loaded with fruit to wash it down. An absolute must if staying in the area. On the pricier side but totally totally worth it.

Everything was very fresh and tasty! Beautiful and modern place. We were there for brunch. If you want to enjoy the beach on sun beds, it’s important that you book them weeks before. The food is really delicious and good quality. Service was great, it wasn’t really that fast but still we didn’t have to wait long. There is also a parking space (outdoors). Nice atmosphere while our visit the music was low and it was perfect!

My wife and I stumbled across this place by chance while looking for the boardwalk to Marbella. It looked so inviting, and the staff were so friendly, that we knew we had to come back for a meal. A few days later, the five of us—my wife, our two adult children, our son’s girlfriend, and I—returned, and it didn’t disappoint. There was a great choice of both healthy and more indulgent dishes, all beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The staff were warm, welcoming, and efficient throughout. A fantastic dining experience from start to finish. Highly recommended—a real hidden gem!

We’ve took some time off to enjoy the sun in Marbella and we found this lovely restaurant. It’s so close to the centre and yet a little hidden. Giving a really cozy feeling amongst the green plants and trees. And then the food arrived!!! Wooow!! AMAZING!!! It was not only looking stunning, but also it was delicious!! I’ve had some of the best dishes I’ve ever tasted. And it was served by such a nice host (the owner of the restaurant). The restaurant is ran by a couple (Sylwia and Bart) and they both do want to make all the guests feel welcome. You can see that they love this place. A cherry on top was that the chef (owner of the restaurant) also was checking in with everyone to make sure that the food and service are to our satisfaction 🥰 A great experience and I’m looking forward to go back there AGAIN! During our stay we went back 3 times. It’s too good to look for other options 🤩 It’s a must, when you are in the area of Marbella!!

An absolute highlight! The menu impresses on every level: fantastic classics combined with creative and outstanding original dishes. With every course you can tell that the owner and head chef comes from the fine dining world – that level of skill and finesse simply can’t be hidden. Thankfully 😉 The owners bring a personal touch to the restaurant that is rare to find these days, and the team is warm and knowledgeable – you feel in the best hands from the very first minute. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back and are already looking forward to our next visit! Thank you!

Isabella Mourad

Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences we had in Marbella. The main issue was the quality of the ingredients. We ordered several dishes, and almost everything we tried felt poor quality for what was served. The steak was particularly disappointing and did not taste like a high-quality cut. The tortilla was completely inedible due to the amount of salt. We have tried many tortillas throughout Spain, and this was by far one of the worst. It genuinely tasted as though an entire cup of salt had been poured into it. We took a few bites and couldn’t continue eating it. In fact, the tortilla sat on our table almost completely untouched for the rest of the meal. We politely informed the staff, yet there was little concern shown. What was most surprising was the response from the chef, who insisted that this was how it was supposed to be made. Considering how much food we ordered, it was disappointing that there was no attempt to address the issue or offer a replacement. The service was also slow, with long waits for the food to arrive. The only thing we enjoyed was the cheesecake. Unfortunately, there are many other restaurants in Marbella with far better food, ingredients, and service. Overall, if you’re looking for quality ingredients and a restaurant that takes customer feedback seriously, this would not be a place I would recommend.

Here’s a more polished and engaging version of your review: — Beautiful place with truly delicious food. My wife and I came here for dinner and enjoyed every single dish we tried. To start, we had the pork cracklings, oysters, and house bread — I would highly recommend all three. Each was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. We also tried the Roostiq pizza and the cheesecake for dessert, and both were absolutely delicious. The staff were warm and friendly, and the ambience is simply beautiful — the perfect setting for a relaxed evening out. We had a fantastic dinner and would definitely recommend giving this place a try!

I was alone for dinner, the girls sabrina and sarah were soooo wunderful souls! The service was 1A . I chit chatted and said it was my birthday and then they made me a surprise and came singing happy Birthday! Thanks for that again. I recommend this place if you want the best dinner experience in Marbella! 🙂

Really liked the restaurant! Pleasant interior, cozy veranda, where we were gladly accommodated with our dog – a big plus for friendly attitude. The atmosphere is light and lively, DJ is playing, but the music does not interfere with communication. Service at the level – attentive and pleasant waiter. We ordered tuna tartar as an appetizer and specialty pizza with truffle – everything was very tasty, especially the pizza, definitely recommended! We advise to book a table in advance – the place is popular and not for nothing. We will definitely come back!

The restaurant’s décor is magnificent. However, the tables lack tablecloths and are wiped down with a cloth under very unhygienic conditions; the cutlery is then placed directly onto the table. The tableware leaves much to be desired and does not match the restaurant’s supposed caliber—or, certainly, its prices. The food is nothing exceptional. The service is enthusiastic but lacks professionalism. A 10% tip is added to the bill as a “suggestion,” which is completely inappropriate.

Roostiq Marbella Restaurant is, without exaggeration, one of the most complete and exciting dining experiences in Marbella—and easily one of my absolute favorites. From the moment you arrive, everything feels alive. The space is stunning—sprawling, stylish, and full of character—with that perfect mix of rustic fire-cooking energy and high-end Marbella elegance. It’s not just a restaurant, it feels like a destination you plan your entire evening around. The concept is what makes it truly special: fire, smoke, and incredible ingredients at the center of everything. The food is bold, honest, and deeply satisfying. The torreznos are on another level, the meats are perfectly executed, the vegetables are full of flavour, and the pizzas coming out of the wood fire are next-level comfort elevated to luxury. Every dish feels intentional and rooted in real quality. What I love most is the atmosphere—it has that rare balance of being energetic without being chaotic, upscale without feeling stiff. It’s the kind of place where dinner naturally turns into a long night. The hotel and surrounding area elevate it even more. You’re right in one of Marbella’s most beautiful lifestyle zones, surrounded by incredible restaurants, bars, and walking areas that make the whole experience feel like a full night out, not just a reservation. Everything flows—drink, dinner, walk, vibe. Service is sharp, professional, and confident without ever feeling cold. You feel looked after, but still free to enjoy the space and energy. Roostiq Marbella isn’t just recommended—it’s a must. The kind of place you return to again and again because it always delivers exactly what Marbella is all about: fire, flavour, atmosphere, and unforgettable nights.

The food at El Balcón de la Virgen was delicious. I had the entrecôte, my wife had the salmon (whose sauce is a bleu cheese base) and my daughter had the vegetarian paella. All were wonderful and the service was amazing. We had an early-ish dinner – about 5:30pm – on the patio.

We received a lovely little bite to start, excellent drinks, followed by a wonderful dinner. The prices were reasonable and the desserts were just the right size-since we barely had room! The wait staff was attentive and friendly. We chose to eat inside as the restaurant interior was quite nice. Would definitely recommend.

Located in Marbella’s Old Town, we arrived without a booking, 1.5-hour wait for the terrace but got a table inside right away. Rustic Andalusian charm and very friendly staff. They take orders in a set sequence, so you might wait a bit before ordering, and it actually matched the saying printed on their table covers about the virtue of patience. Turbot was fresh and perfectly cooked, grilled fish steak also very good. Pizza, however, was disappointing. Tip: book for the terrace, otherwise inside is quiet and fast to get a table. Worth it for the fish, not for the pizza.

Thank you for the whole staff the 2 evening that we spend here. The services was perfect, they always had one eye on us. It was one of the warmest restaurant that I have been in Marbella. Especially the second night when they recognized us and gave an outside table. The whole staff has a big heart. The foods are delicious. Thank you, Reczicza family from Hungary

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this authentic Spanish restaurant: El Balcon de la Virgen. ♥️ The food was excellent – both the starters (Gambas Pil Pil & Choricitos Sidra) and the main courses (Pata Pulpo) were bursting with flavor and prepared with great care. The Sangria Blanco was, without a doubt, the best in all of Marbella. During our 4-day visit, we came here twice because we were so captivated by the delicious dishes and the genuine warmth of the people – Rafa, Martin and Marco made us feel like part of their family from the moment we walked in. We wholeheartedly recommend this place, and we will definitely visit again the next time we return to Marbella! ♥️

Please avoid this restaurant when you want to order pizza! I have never eaten such a bad pizza in whole my life! They are probably buying in supermarket and just heat it up in the oven. We paid almost €60 for nothing!Very bad!!!

We came here for lunch and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was relaxed and stylish, with a beautiful setting and a great beach club vibe. The food was delicious, and it wasn’t overcrowded during our visit, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. What we especially appreciated was that we never felt rushed. Even after we had finished our meal, we stayed for another 1.5 hours, and the staff let us enjoy our time without constantly asking if we wanted to order more. It created a very welcoming and laid-back atmosphere. As part of the hotel complex, the beach club also offers massages on the beach. We all booked the 15-minute express massage, and it was the perfect way to finish our visit. It was incredibly relaxing and completed an already fantastic afternoon. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it for a relaxed lunch by the beach.

Authentic Paella by the Sea – A Must-Try in Marbella! I had the pleasure of enjoying a truly delicious, authentic Paella at a beach club in Marbella – and it was everything I hoped for. The rice was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and generously topped with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere right by the sea made the experience even more special – relaxing, stylish, and truly Mediterranean. What really stood out was the attentive and friendly service – the staff made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. If you’re in Marbella and craving real Spanish Paella with a view, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely time at Amare Beach Club. Our room was bright, clean, well air-conditioned, with a stunning balcony view looking out over the ocean. The hotel has just about anything and everything you could need — both the hotel and beach restaurant are excellent with different menus and a wide array of food and drinks to pick from. We really enjoyed the espresso martinis here (and the cup they came in too), as well as the view from the rooftop cocktail bar. That being said, it’s in a great location and very walkable so it’s worth leaving the hotel at least once to have a dinner somewhere local like Paladar Taberna. It’s also very close to a nice pier that you can stroll down to see the sunset and people watch. All the staff, from the front desk to those working by the pool and cleaning the rooms, were friendly and gracious, ensuring that we had everything we needed at all times. If you’re looking to relax and enjoy the sun with a good book, this is your little slice of paradise!

Our experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. First, our order was completely lost, and we had to wait about an hour and a half before our food finally arrived. We ordered two steaks (one filet and one other cut), both cooked medium well. When they arrived, they were completely overcooked, dry, and partly burnt. After we sent them back, the replacement steaks came almost raw. The prices are comparable to those of a high-end steakhouse, but the quality and service were nowhere near that level. I honestly don’t understand how this restaurant has such high ratings. We definitely won’t be coming back and cannot recommend this restaurant.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely loved our dinner at Gold Puerto Banús. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and a smile. The staff were not only attentive and friendly but also made great recommendations throughout the evening. The atmosphere was just beautiful – elegant yet relaxed, with the perfect balance of music and marina-side vibes that made the entire evening feel special. Now the food… wow. Every single dish we ordered was packed with flavour and presented beautifully. The seafood was incredibly fresh – the prawns were juicy and sweet, and the grilled octopus was tender and perfectly seasoned. We also had a pasta dish and a steak, both cooked to perfection. The sides and sauces complemented everything so well. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients and take pride in what they serve. Drinks were just as good – we had a couple of cocktails that were well balanced and refreshing. Service throughout the night was flawless – never intrusive, always just when you needed them. Highly recommend Gold for anyone looking to enjoy an amazing dinner in Puerto Banús. It’s a great spot for couples, families, or groups. Will definitely be coming back. 10/10!

Frequently asked questions about vegetarian restaurants in Marbella

What is vegetarian food and how does it differ from vegan food?

Vegetarian food is defined as any meal or diet that excludes meat, poultry, and fish, while veganism is a stricter form of vegetarianism that excludes all animal-derived products, including dairy, eggs, and honey. When dining out in Marbella, many restaurants offer vegetarian options that may still include cheese or eggs. You can easily distinguish between the two by checking the menu descriptions for specific ingredients like "dairy-free" or "plant-based."

What are the benefits of a vegetarian diet?

A vegetarian diet is associated with various health benefits, such as improved heart health, better digestion, and increased intake of vitamins and minerals. Many people choose this lifestyle to improve their personal well-being or for ethical and environmental reasons. In a coastal destination like Marbella, these benefits are often supported by a wide variety of fresh, local produce and Mediterranean-style ingredients.

How do I find restaurants with vegetarian options?

Finding restaurants with vegetarian options involves looking for establishments that highlight plant-based dishes or offer "vegetarian-friendly" labels on their menus. Most local eateries in the area provide at least one or two meat-free alternatives, but it is always best to check the daily specials or call ahead to confirm. You can look for symbols on menus or ask the staff to identify dishes that do not contain animal proteins.

What is the typical cost of vegetarian meals and subscriptions?

The cost of vegetarian meals varies significantly depending on the type of establishment, ranging from casual cafes to high-end dining experiences. While a single meal at a local spot can be quite affordable, meal subscription services or premium dining will have higher price points based on the ingredients and service level. Prices generally fluctuate based on the season and the specific location within the town.
