The hotel was excellent, and my stay was comfortable from the very first day to the last. The rooms were clean, the food was varied and delicious, and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. What I enjoyed the most was the entertainment team. Eli, Mireya, and Maite were absolutely amazing. They were always smiling, full of energy, and made every activity fun for both adults and children. They truly played a big part in making my holiday so special and full of wonderful memories. I enjoyed every moment of my stay and will definitely come back again. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic and unforgettable holiday.

The apartment was huge and the beds were comfortable. We had a pool view apartment but you could see the sea from the mezzanine level – though it’s a bit sad that the wall of the upstairs balcony was so high that you could only see the view while standing on the bed. The kitchen was well equipped and included a dishwasher and ample dishes. The breakfast was fine, though much of it was clearly made from frozen – there’s a cooking station with eggs and bacon though. Kids enjoyed the chocolate fountain but they don’t have it every day. Indoor pool was very warm but the jacuzzi was not working. The location is fine – close to a large road but you can walk over it to get to a sizable grocery store and several restaurants. Well placed to visit nearby towns but nothing right by the hotel except a small beach. All in all, not fancy but good value for money.

A really amazing hotel. Rooms are located in blocks around the pool, ample parking facitilies if you want to rent a car also. Service at breakfast and throughout the day is really nice. Staff are so friendly, especially the activities guy Eli who has events for all ages from pool games with the kids to playing bingo with the adults and families. Tucked away nicely outside of Marbella, a taxi to Old Town is ~€17, with shops and some bars & restaurants a short walk away. We opted for 1/2 board, with a buffet breakfast every morning from 0800-1030. Thank you! 🙂

Location is good to get to other areas. Rooms are good however room towels only changed every 4 days. The pool area could be so much better. No cleaning of pool area has taken far so far and we are on day 6 of our holiday. Pool has green algae on the tiles, sunbeds and floor area are not cleaned down. Litter from the previous day can be found under sunbeds. Bins are emptied around pool at the end of the day but other than a man with a leaf blower No other cleaning has taken place around the pool area. Shame really.

Stayed in apartment 602 and it was great. Lovely newly refurbished kitchen with everything we needed. Lovely to have the duplex so felt spacious and the extra downstairs loo was an added bonus. Lovely and clean with a hoover to enable us to give the place a once over when we got back from the beach/the apartment needed it. The washing machine was a dream to have to rinse out towels etc. Sun all day from the afternoon on the balcony. The only thing I’d say was missing was a full length mirror but simply an observation. Getting beds round the pool was a bit manic as people were queuing to get their lounger mattresses from over an hour before it actually opened though I expected this having visited the SKOL annually growing up with family and it was the same then. 🤣🤣 Plenty of room on the beach though. You cannot beat The SKOL for location. A walk to the old town and harbour etc with a supermarket/great bars and restaurants just along the front out the gardens gate which is literally directly onto the beach. Fab long run towards Puerto Banus every morning was glorious. Daniela was very quick to respond to emails when booking. I’ll definitely go back to this apartment. ❤️

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment in Marbella. The location is amazing, right on the boulevard, with beautiful beaches, great restaurants, and lovely cafés all nearby. It is also the perfect place to enjoy Marbella’s lively nightlife. The apartment is cozy, very clean, and has everything you need. We had a wonderful holiday and really enjoyed our time in Marbella. We will definitely return!

We stayed in Skol 541B and had a wonderful time. The location was perfect, right in the heart of Marbella close to the beach and Old Town with so many lovely restaurants to choose from just a few steps away. The pool was great, sun beds 3 EUR each for all day. The apartment was clean and well equipped with beautiful views. The service we received was excellent – Daniela + Vincenzo answered all our questions and ensured we had a comfortable stay. 5 Stars from me!

Great apartment in ideal location – very close to the beach yet within easy walking distance of the old town! Apartment is a lot larger than many others in the area but does not have a seaview. The balcony, which easily seats 4-6 people, overlooks a crossroads and sits above some restaurants but we’ve never had any issues with noise! The two bedrooms are extremely spacious with lots of storage, and each has their own full bathroom, one of which has a bath and the other a walk in shower. The kitchen is modern and has all mod cons, from microwave to full oven and hob, American fridge freezer, washing machine and dryer and even a wine fridge! Much appreciated. The Nuevo Venencia restaurant downstairs is fabulous and caters for many locals – indicative of how good it is! A cocktail bar opposite which does extremely good cocktails, pizza place and bakery within 30 seconds of the front door provide additional food options but being so close to all the other amenities make this the perfect apartment for short or long stays!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this villa! The property was stunning, immaculately clean, and even more beautiful than the photos. My family and I, recently stayed at Villa Lina in Marbella, managed by Vacation Marbella, and we had an absolutely wonderful time! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The villa itself was stunning, incredibly beautiful, and spotlessly clean. The check-in and check-out processes were completely seamless and stress-free. What truly made our stay special, though, was the team. Every single time we needed something, the staff went above and beyond—they were always so kind, responsive, and incredibly helpful. We had a fantastic vacation and highly recommend Vacation Marbella to anyone looking for the perfect villa getaway in Marbella. We can’t wait to come back!

Villa Hanami is incredible. From the first moment it felt like we are at home. The house is super spacious and bright, nice decor. The best part is in the master bedroom the sunrise in the morning, the view was amazing. Neighbourhood is quiet, walking distance to the shops and beach. Communication with the company was super easy and smooth. Reply fast. Highly recommend!

⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5) Our experience with this villa and the agent, Carmen, was extremely disappointing and stressful. From the moment we arrived, it was the worst check-in experience we have ever had. As first-time visitors to Marbella, we expected at least basic hospitality and support, but there was none. Another group arrived before us and could not even access the villa because the payment link had never been sent to us in advance. This caused unnecessary delays and confusion. When we finally got access, the villa was not ready. The rooms were not prepared, and it was clear the property had not been properly prepared for our arrival. On the second day, another serious issue occurred. The security/access system stopped working, and the main gate would not open. My niece and her nanny returned to the villa while everyone else was asleep, but they were locked outside and unable to get in. We repeatedly tried to contact Carmen, but she did not answer our calls or messages. After almost 10 hours, we finally had to contact the intermediary who introduced us to Carmen, and only then was the villa owner contacted to resolve the issue and restore access. This level of support is completely unacceptable, especially in an emergency. The villa was also advertised as having a security system, but once you enter the property, the alarm has to be deactivated because it continuously goes off. In reality, we did not feel that there was any effective security. The most upsetting part of our stay was that we were robbed on the third day. Despite knowing what had happened, Carmen never came to check on us, never asked if we were safe, and never offered any assistance or support. We were left to deal with the situation entirely on our own. The villa is in an isolated area, and we did not feel safe throughout our stay. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend staying in this location. We expected much better communication, professionalism, and care from the agent, especially after multiple serious incidents. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst villa rental experiences we have ever had, and we would not recommend booking through Carmen.

Mariam Alemadi

This was, without question, one of the worst rental experiences we have ever had. Before our arrival, everything seemed fine. The villa looked beautiful in the photos, and the booking process was straightforward. Unfortunately, the experience changed completely the moment we arrived. The property manager, Karmin, was extremely rude, aggressive, and unprofessional. Instead of welcoming us, we were treated with hostility. We were refused access to the bedrooms and were not given the keys immediately. The remaining payment was demanded in a confrontational and intimidating manner, making us feel like we were being treated as suspects rather than paying guests. The security system at the villa also gave us a false sense of safety. During our stay, four masked men broke into the property while our children were inside with their nannies. The intruders stole valuables worth well over €300,000 and left our children and our entire family deeply traumatized. It was one of the most terrifying experiences we have ever been through. What was even more shocking was the complete lack of care and compassion shown afterward. When we contacted the owner and the management company for help, we were told that we were calling outside working hours and that what had happened was “not their responsibility.” Despite living only a couple of minutes away, no one came to check on us, offer assistance, or even ask if the children were safe. There was no empathy, no support, and no sense of responsibility during what was clearly a traumatic emergency. We understand that no property owner can always prevent a crime. However, how you respond when your guests experience a life-changing event says everything about your professionalism and your values. In our case, the response was cold, dismissive, and completely unacceptable. A luxury villa is not just about the building it’s about the service, the safety, and the way guests are treated when things go wrong. This property failed on all three. We would never stay here again, and we cannot recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, professionally managed, or genuinely hospitable place to stay.

the hotel was in an excellent location. Just back from our 10th stay at Puerto Azul, and it truly remains our favourite place to stay in Marbella. We visit around three times a year, and whether we’ve come as a family of four, a couple, or even a group of ten, every stay has been consistently fantastic. The atmosphere is always calm, welcoming and relaxing.||The location couldn’t be better for us. We love being close to Playa del Faro and Puerto Deportivo de Marbella — perfect for the beach, the bars and the great choice of restaurants.||The cleanliness is exceptional. No matter what time of day you leave your room, you always return to fresh towels and perfectly made beds. We’ve stayed in both front‑facing and side‑facing rooms, and every one has been clean, spacious and comfortable. Even on the street side, noise has never been an issue.||The staff are wonderful — always smiling, friendly and genuinely helpful. The Sirocco restaurant on the ground floor is brilliant for lunch, offering three courses for under 20 euros, which is amazing value.||If I had to mention one tiny negative, it would be that the beds are a little on the firm side, but it’s certainly not enough to stop us returning.||Already counting down to our next stay in five weeks time.

The property is well maintained and the front desk team is incredibly helpful. However, at a rate exceeding $260/night, guests should expect basic resort perks like complimentary beach towels, etc. Additionally, housekeeping operations are rigid; rooms are skipped if not available when the attendant passes, and no service or towel replenishment is available after 16:00, which detracts from the value.|After I mentioned the problem with the towels on hotel site, I’ve got the answer:|”as part of our policy … towel changes are not scheduled for stays of up to 4 nights”|I think this is outrageous!!!

Unbeatable Location with an Exceptionally Spacious Sea-View Balcony Overall Rating: 5/5 We had a fantastic stay at Puerto Azul in apartment 507. Here’s why we loved it. Location (10/10): The location is perfect, with all services nearby. There is a very handy shortcut from the hotel directly to the Paseo Maritimo, which made moving around effortless. The Apartment (10/10): The apartment itself was clean and very spacious. Living Room: The living room was spacious and featured a dining table for four, a sofa set, and a coffee table. The sofa was a comfortable and pleasant sofa bed, and there was also a TV. Bedroom: The bedroom was compact, and the pillows and duvet were very comfortable. As a minor improvement, the bed felt a little bit short for me (I am 182 cm). Kitchenette: The kitchenette was well-equipped with a fridge, stove, toaster, and a kettle. It could benefit from more cutlery and utensils. Additionally, the dish soap provided was in a tiny sachet – it was simply too small and could have been a bit bigger. The Balcony & View: The highlight of the apartment was the exceptionally spacious balcony. It was well-equipped with sun loungers and a dining table for four. The direct sea view was absolutely stunning!Staff: The staff were absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. Staff & Atmosphere: The staff were absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. Being so close to the ocean, you can hear the soothing roar of the waves, which I personally loved. You might hear some chatter from the promenade, but it only adds to the nice coastal vibe. Summary: A top-tier experience in Marbella. We would definitely stay in 507 again!

A quiet but functioning clean bus station on top of the mountain. They should have put a much better cafe or eating place so people can enjoy while waiting. I am impressed by this bus stop. It is my first time to ride here and it did not disappoint. Announcement is way too loud and they should be mindful about this and make it a volume that is just pleasant and not annoying

For us, there are no reservations when it comes to transport here in Marbella. Everything always on time and well organized. A station with a small fast food bar (prices higher than average) and a lot of space. Cashier or machine tickets. We use Avanza to connect with Malaga and it’s perfect. From Marbella you can get anywhere to Spain, just check the timetables, from Malaga there are of course many more connections. You must take into account the lack of available seats if you buy a ticket shortly before departure, but the frequency on the Marbella – Malaga route is almost every 40 minutes.

Upon arrival we were lacking appropriate keys to enter and exit the parking garage. There was also a lack of instructions one inside of the apartment – such as garbage disposal, pool etc. The beds only had a top sheet and no comforter. We reported all of this to the company and they arrived the next day with everything we needed. The apartment is clean and the beds are comfortable. Being right on the beach was amazing.

The location of the Skol building is perfect being on the sea front and a short distance from restaurants and supermarkets. ThI s apartment on the third floor is a bit overshadowed by the tree outside but it’s an ideal size for 2 people. We found the beds to be very soft and had to opt for sleeping on the sofa bed, which opened to a comfortable king size bed. The apartment was very week equipped with a very good bathroom.

The apt had a spectacular view and great location. Very good value. However, the person in the office was never there after our first few days. Calls did not reach her or even a way to leave a message. Our washing machine never worked and we needed help with the tv. The broom& dustpan were on the deck which we never used until the last few days because of bad weather so we didn’t find them until then. Had to buy our own cleaning supplies to keep it clean.

This is a nice size apartment for two people and has 2 single beds (which I guess could be pushed together to make a double bed. There is a very good view along the cost and the apartment is literally a front line build seconds from the beach. The only this I didn’t look closely at, was the fact it doesn’t have an oven, although it does have a hob and a microwave. Overall good value for money and is near a supermarket and Marbella old town with its many restaurants just 5 minutes away.

Rating: 2/5 The location of this apartment is excellent—easily the strongest aspect of the stay. It’s well situated and convenient, which made getting around simple and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the overall standard of the apartment and the complex did not meet expectations. The apartment itself feels quite dated and in need of upgrades. We experienced issues with the balcony door not closing properly, which led to drafts and a noticeable amount of outside noise. The floors were also very cold, which became a challenge for us as we were traveling with a 10-month-old baby. Adjusting the air conditioning didn’t help much, as it only warmed the air and not the overall indoor comfort. There were also some hygiene concerns. We found mold in the shower, which was uncomfortable, especially with small children, and noticed the presence of silverfish in the apartment. In addition, the general standard of the complex was below what we expected. The pools were extremely cold and not usable for children, and the staff in the area did not come across as particularly welcoming or service-minded. We understand that not everything is within the host’s control, but taken together, these factors significantly impacted our stay and ultimately led us to leave earlier than planned. With some upgrades and better maintenance, this could be a much better experience, as the location itself is genuinely very good.

Taxisol Marbella operates in the long-distance transfers sector, offering transportation services within the Marbella region. However, the company faces significant challenges regarding service reliability and consistent communication. Issues with their digital booking systems and call center support can make planning essential trips, such as airport transfers, difficult for travelers.

The overall experience is often hindered by unprofessional conduct and inconsistent navigation. Concerns regarding driver behavior and operational competence suggest that passengers may find the service unpredictable. Please avoid… this taxi assaulted a very poorly young girl today who was on her way to a medical centre. The young lady was sick and needed urgent medical help and this lady taxi driver stopped the car and got out and pushed the young girl in the stomach after she had just had surgery and refused to take her to the medical help she needed. This was nothing to do with payment as the lady was paid in full. Please be aware of this lady. She is violent and viscous.

I have no car that’s why in any city I live, I go with the taxi, and that since 30 years. And I have – honestly speaking – never seen such a bad taxi company as Pidetaxi Taxisol Marbella. They are simply overwhelmed with the demand and find no way to manage it since the 6 years, I live now in Marbella. Even in October (when the tourists of the main season are long time gone) you wait half an hour on a Monday to get a taxi in Marbella! Not talking of July or August, when you wait even longer at the taxi rank in front of El Corte Ingles in Calle Ramon de Areces in Puerto Banus. They simply have not enough cars, that’s a fact! I am really very curious: if it is so clear that Pidetaxi Taxisol Marbella cannot cope with the situation, why the “ayuntamiento of Marbella” (the town hall of Marbella) has never given a second or third license to another taxi company??? That’s really a very interesting question, isn’t it? Marbella always wants to be a 5 star destination. There are also many 5 star foreign residents living here. But the tourists I see in July and August, are more 3 star kind people. And your taxi company, dear Marbella, is more a 1 or 2 star enterprise.

Parking right in the city center, next to Alameda Park and very close to the beaches. Great spot for a trip to the city and a day at the beach. Clean and well-maintained. The parking lot features a convenient, wide entrance and exit. A display at the entrance shows if there are vacant spaces, and there is also a parking guidance system (light indicators for vacant spots). Moderate prices – we paid €13 for nearly 6 hours. There is a cold drink vending machine and an InPost parcel locker on site.

Perfect parking spot in Marbella! The Indigo del Mar parking is super spacious and very well located right next to the beach and only about a 10-minute walk to the old town. The price is also very reasonable; we paid around €2.50 per hour, which is great for the area. Definitely a convenient and stress-free option if you’re visiting!

They kindly refund you the €50. The stay was decent, they have shared spaces like kitchen area, and showers in all floors. They provide laundry washing for €10 I think. All was well, good location overall. The front office regularly have break times so make sure to time your check-in and check-out properly.

This pension has a very convenient location, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained. We chose a room with a private bathroom and toilet, and it turned out to be very comfortable and convenient. There is also a lovely terrace with a fridge and a practical counter for preparing food, which we really appreciated. Overall, a great place to stay! Recommend!

Parking Market Marbella offers a spacious facility conveniently situated near the beach and the historic old town. While the layout generally provides accessible parking spaces and functional payment machines, the premium pricing structure may be a consideration for budget-conscious travelers.

Navigating the premises requires careful attention due to some narrow access points. Additionally, users should be aware that technical issues with license plate recognition or customer support response times can occasionally impact the overall experience.

Use this parking often out of convenience because the parking itself is terrible with extremely tiny ways up. Also very expensive for what it is. However today was the limit. For some reason it didn’t read my licence plate correctly or something and I paid my ticket (lost it somehow on the way to the car) and it didn’t open, which is weird is it should open by reading my licence plate and having paid. It took a few times to reach someone clicking on the help button as there is noone to help you inside the parking. They hang up twice on me. Then they said I paid for someone elses ticket??? Conclusion was that it took me 30 minutes of trying to communicate with them unsuccesfully (terrible customer service) and they made me pay again for the original parking + made me pay for the 30 minutes I was standing there trying to talk to them. They didn’t give a flying peanut about the issue, hang up several times, and were extremely rude. After years of parking here I will never go back

Horrible parking for parking a car . Very small and hard to make manoeuvres with large vehicles like the Bentley and forget about a R Royce size. The problem is once you enter your committed and can not just pull out. This is a problem in most parking’s there not made for cars if modern size.

€4.65 per hour and not that well situated. Easy access to old town further from beachfront. Larger spaces but I would check prices of other car parks.

Frequently asked questions about long distance transfers in Marbella

How much does a long distance move cost?

The cost of a long distance move depends on several factors including the volume of goods, the distance traveled, and the level of service required. Prices vary based on whether you choose a full truckload or a shared transport option, as well as any additional services like packing, insurance, or specialized handling for fragile items.

How do I plan a long distance move?

Planning a long distance move involves organizing logistics, selecting a reliable transportation method, and creating a detailed inventory of your belongings. It is helpful to compare different moving options, such as container shipping or door-to-door transport, and to start the planning process well in advance to secure the best available dates.

What are the options for long distance auto transport?

Long distance auto transport offers several methods including open and enclosed carrier services, as well as specialized vehicle shipping for oversized cars. When choosing between these, consider your budget and the condition of your vehicle, as enclosed transport provides extra protection from the elements and road debris.

What is considered a long distance move?

A long distance move is generally defined as a relocation that spans across significant geographical areas, often involving travel between different regions or countries. What qualifies as "long distance" can vary depending on the logistics provider, but it typically refers to moves where the distance makes local delivery methods impractical.

How long does a transfer take?

The duration of a transfer depends entirely on the distance covered, the type of transport selected, and any logistical delays such as weather or customs. For long distance moves, transit times can range from a few days to several weeks depending on whether the transport is moving by road, rail, or sea.
