I contacted this firm yesterday to attend my house to repair a butano gas boiler. Two Argentines arrived, one named Walter, and examined my boiler. They said there was an electrical problem and that as the boiler was old it was better to replace it. They asked for a 40 euro call out charge which I paid. They then quoted me by text message 410 euros to replace the boiler the same evening at 7pm to which I agreed minus the 40 euros. They then contacted me to say they could not come until noon the next day to which I agreed. They did not arrive and I have not been able to contact them since. Avoid this firm completely!

Long story short, I had an urgent problem; the bathtub was leaking into the garage of the urbanization; after being fed up waiting for two weeks to get some local plumbers from the Marbella area, I called ‘Der Installateur Marbella’ he came very quickly; he inspected, on my request, the water pipes in the wall with a camera to make sure a broken pipe did not cause the problem. He found the real problem rapidly, and he took care of all the work needed, meaning: cutting out some floor tiles, repairing the broken siphon, ordering new tiles, perfectly placing the new tiles, and restoring the damaged walls from the water. He is always on time, keeps his promises, and works very cleanly. I could communicate with him in German and English, and on top of all, he is a nice and understanding person to work with. So again, call him if you have a problem!

I am glad some people got a good service. My experience has been a total disaster. He came over, said some sensible things. Wrote that he would come next week to do the job… and disappeared. Did not even respond to 5 courteous messages i sent over 6 weeks! It meant that while I waited, I lost time and then we were in the peak season with no-one available. He could have just said he was too busy and I would have tried someone else. I would expect an educated German to have some decency, some manners. But this is disgraceful and unprofessional. Avoid.

Really mediocre after sales ‘support’. This involved the sales rep merely forwarding an email from an anonymous colleague in which my integrity was questioned – he/she stated his/her surprise that a claim for damage to the vanity unit we purchased took eight days to report. Unfortunately, such defamatory comments are not so easy to sue for over in Spain hence the online review. Sadly the individual who wrote this remark overlooked the fact that we had been told twenty days for delivery of everything rather than just over a week and hence nothing was opened until our installers arrived. No empathy, head of sales ignored half my mails and he had to be reminded about a missing piece on shower column he failed to order prior to taking vacation and appeared disinterested in the concept that any offence had been caused by his colleague. Will steer well clear in the future. Of course, heads would roll in the UK in cases of such mediocrity but… With the Amazon juggernaut showing no sign of slowing down, I feel all concerned at this company need to think fast about providing competent after-sales service. Otherwise, the party is surely over…
