We stayed in Marbella for a week and we had our breakfast here every morning. Everything we ate was good. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. The chocolate croissants were exceptional, LOADED with Nutella, the chocolate pancakes as well. Very good coffee, great egg tacos in the morning, generous fruit bowls. I highly recommend this place!

I live in Marbella and absolutely love this place. The pastries are always fresh, and no matter the season, the café is always full of people, which says a lot about its quality. I also regularly buy coffee beans to enjoy at home, and they are consistently excellent. One thing I really appreciate is the variety of gluten-free and lactose-free options available. It makes it easy for everyone to find something delicious. Another huge plus is that they are open every day, which is incredibly convenient. The only downsides are that it’s such a popular spot that it’s difficult to find a quiet place to sit and relax, and unfortunately there is only one location in the city center. I would love to see more branches in Marbella! Highly recommended for coffee lovers and anyone looking for great pastries and quality service.

The best brunch place in all of Marbella!! The staff is incredibly friendly, they remember you and that really makes you feel special. The food is delicious, everything is fresh, smooth. This year we stayed for 3 days and chose to eat here all 3 days. At the end, we even took photos together and they gave us something sweet for free. It deserves all the praise.

Great spot for quality coffee. The granola bowl was a good size and had lovely fresh fruit which was perfect for the hot weather. Lots of sweet pastry treats on offer which all looks great. Outdoor seating is nice for people watching too. This place is not cheap but then nothing is in Marbella!

We came here mainly for the coffee. Unfortunately, both coffees were fairly average. The cappuccino was too hot and watery, lacking the rich texture we expected. On the positive side, the açaí bowl was fresh, tasty, and definitely the highlight of our visit. Overall, an okay experience but the coffee could be improved.

Super friendly stuff, delicious food and coffee! We took the bagel with avocado and salmon, and the French toast. Both were huge and absolutely delicious. The pastry looked amazing as well but unfortunately we could not eat more.

Anniken Hammer

The portions are quite big which we liked. The service only gets 4 stars since the staff that greeted us first said it was available inside, then they talked into their walkie talkie for a good while, while we stood there awkwardly. We also had to ask several waiters repeatedly to get the check, while waiting an unnecessary amount of time. The food was all good, as well as the matcha latte and the coffee.

Had a great experience at Rosas Cafe! The food was lovely and the atmosphere was welcoming, but what really stood out was the excellent service from Muhammed. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. His positive attitude and professionalism made us feel really looked after. Customer service like his makes a big difference and definitely made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you, Muhammed!

I loved this place!! The food was okay, the quesadillas had a bit too much cheese for my preferred amount, but the rest was okay. The ambience was extraordinary! So was the presentation of the dishes! Very feminine, but such a nice vibe, very calm, and a good place to meet up with friends! The menu is a magazine that displays the story of the owner, and also the actual menu itself. I found that the pastries such as the chocolate caramel cake were dry. But, the pistachio cake was delicious. Overall, I highly recommend this place for its ambience, not so much food.

I went with my family for brunch at Rosas Cafe and we were amazed by the decoration, food quality, and the kindness of the staff. The team was very friendly, and we loved their dish recommendations. We ordered the Buenos Días, Teriyaki Bowl, Eggs Royale, and some chicken quesadillas, which we absolutely loved. The drinks were also very good, especially the fresh juices made on the spot, but the highlight was definitely the crème brûlée coffee. Thank you to Rosas Cafe for welcoming us so warmly. We definitely recommend it, especially if you are visiting Puerto Banús! ✨

Had some lovely cocktails on our trip to Marbella, was so good we came back the next day for it again! Cocktails were on a 2 for £15 deal mix and match after 12pm. Cute little spot near the beach! Loved having delicious Mexican food in Spain. This is my second time visiting Marbella and the second time and I’ve enjoyed their breakfast burritos. The homemade tortillas are AMAZING. Almost better than my mom’s tortillas (don’t tell her I said that.) I walked here from my Airbnb on a Monday morning around 10 am for a nice relaxed breakfast. Super attentive and quick!

Nice location close to the beach on an avenue with a number of cafes & restaurants. The restaurant puts corn chips on the table, they’re very stale, bad first impression. Had the nachos, very disappointed. They were very bland, total lack of flavor. Also, they are not nachos, it’s a bean tostada, it is not nachos. The bright spot is the tostada used fresh ingredients. Bland but fresh.

We came across Mi Casa Tu Casa by sheer luck on our recent visit to Marbella. It’s always really busy which is also a good sign. It is most amazing place and is run by a lovely family. We initially stopped by for a coffee and it was amazing! They roast their own coffee beans which is a lovely touch. The interior and exterior is really nice and very trendy. From the decor in the toilet to the plates and cups – everything is beautiful and the attention to detail is amazing, right through to the presentation of the food. We visited again – unfortunately one of the times it was closed as it was a Sunday. We wanted to try the food as the menu is vast with tons of different types of meals available. On our second visit, we had breakfast. The food was delicious – fresh ingredients and full of flavour. We had fresh orange juice alongside this and it was incredible. We would highly recommend you visit this place – it’s amazing. I believe you can purchase coffee beans which we really wish we’d done. We will 100% be back the next time we’re in Marbella!

Visited this store recently and was impressed by how clean, modern, and well presented everything was. There’s a great selection of home furnishings, décor, and household items, and the supermarket section is particularly well stocked with plenty of premium products. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I was specifically looking for Hot Wheels, and unfortunately there wasn’t a toy section or any Hot Wheels available. If you’re visiting for homeware or groceries, it’s definitely worth a stop, but toy collectors may want to look elsewhere. Overall, a pleasant shopping experience with a great range of quality products and a nice atmosphere.

This grocery store is immaculate. It is pricy but they do have good sales and others brands that are cheaper. I was truly in heaven when I stepped in here. If you’re a wine lover or collector, the wine selection is incredible and not to be missed. The tinned fish selection, olive oil and cheese section is outstanding as well. This supermarket (floor -1) is BY FAR the best grocery shopping Marbella has to offer. Everything is new. Fresh Fish, Butcher and Cheese counter. Just fabulous! Be aware that the ‘Club del Gourmet’ has now moved to the ground floor, sharing space with their decoration department. There is also a Starbucks on this floor if that’s your thing. I won’t do my grocery shopping anywhere else. Plenty of Parking on 2 decks below the premises. While you shop get your car detailed at -2.

Couldn’t recommend this place more!! We arrived here for breakfast on the last day of a hen do and there was a slight misunderstanding of the set food menu on both my end and the venues. This was sorted within minutes and the staff couldn’t be more helpful! They let us leave our suitcases here while we wandered down to the beach, which is only minutes away! The venue itself is absolutely stunning (Instagram worthy) and the healthy food is just what we needed after a weekend of drinking. I recommend this to anyone looking for great healthy food, perfect hospitality & a gorgeous location. Thanks to everyone who accommodated us!

This place offers a wide range of options and the overall vibe is very nice. The location is beautiful, and you can enjoy your food or drinks by the pool, which creates a relaxing atmosphere. However, none of the items we ordered really met our expectations. We went for brunch and ordered two different dishes along with an iced matcha with mango. Unfortunately, the matcha didn’t taste rich and felt quite watery. One of the breakfast dishes (I can’t remember the exact name) had a very strong vinegar taste that wasn’t very pleasant. They also didn’t ask how I would like my poached eggs cooked, so they ended up quite runny. The iced coffee was good though. The eggs Benedict with salmon was okay but fairly average. Overall, the location and ambiance are lovely, but in my opinion it felt a bit overpriced for what you get.

Actually the worst breakfest I have had in a while. The burrito was so bad I just ate the eggs but the coconut milk latte was good, also weird vibe with little kids playing Marco Polo in the pool

Omg! Best food I’ve had in months! I came for the arepas but we got the tasting variety dish and I’m SO glad we did!! Everything is so fresh and flavorful. Wow!! Even my picky husband loved it all, not to mention the fresh passion fruit juice yum! Will come back here again and again in a heartbeat.

This was the best place I ate whilst in Marbella and could not recommend it enough. The food is absolutely delicious. It stays open late and I ate my food and beer at 10:30pm which was perfect for me. The patata bravas are delicious and authentic. I also tried the empanada’s which were scrumptious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable. I will return here without a doubt when in Marbella.

Had the tasting menu and was blown away. Absolutely delicious Venezuelan food—my first time trying it, and now I want more. The service was outstanding. A must-try if you’re in Marbella.

We didn’t try the food here even after visiting the place twice, but we had a great time here due to the atmosphere and the authenticity of the place. The restaurant is located as close to Marbella Old Town as you can get, offering a view to the original buildings of Old Town. This means less tourists, lower prices, and better all over quality, compared to what I see as the tourist traps in the Old Town area. A huge plus is the location, facing the sunset. I therefore specially recommend going here in the afternoon or evening, as the town buildings isn’t blocking the sun.

Solobanus Marbella Properties

Absolutely loved our experience at G Wine in San Pedro de Alcántara! From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and what really stood out was how attentive they were, checking in just the right amount to make sure everything was perfect without ever feeling intrusive. The food was truly 5-star. For starters, we tried a unique twist on pimientos del padrón—served with feta cheese and a delicious house-made sauce. Honestly, I think I prefer it this way over the traditional version! For the main, we shared the rabo de toro with vegetables and potatoes, and it was absolutely fantastic- rich, tender, and full of flavor. Great value for money, excellent service, and an overall wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended- it was our first time but definetely not our last- we’ll be coming back!

We have been eating at this small boutique wine bar for the last 4 years and the food and wine never fails to impress. Great selection of modern appetizers and starters mean you can try a variety of dishes in a single sitting. For those wanting a more traditional style 2 or 3 course meal there is a small selection of main dishes dishes with meat and fish options, and desserts. A varied and interesting wine selection is available to compliment the great food.

Excellent food and a great selection of wines! We had tapas for dinner and everything we ordered (pictures below) was really tasty, with quality ingredients and decent presentation! The waiters are very friendly, humorous and helpful with recommendations and explaining menu items. It is recommended to book a table, especially if you plan to eat later in the evening (as Spaniards often do). Moderately priced but the price definitely meets the value. French rosé was recommended to me, and I am thankful as it was a delicious wine! The dessert menu has something for most people. I had the carrot cake with a cappuccino and some tawny port. The cake was fresh and super good and the cappuccino a good example of what a cappuccino should taste like. Warmly recommend the tapas menu, or just swing by for a glass of wine/coffee!

Our group of 3 ladies decided to take advantage of the 17€ lunch. So glad we did. Choice of 4 starters and 4 mains and a glass of perfectly chilled verdejo. The food was outstanding and the service impeccable. Nothing was too much trouble. We did indulge in more wine so our bill was a bit more than 17€. A head! We cannot rate our experience highly enough.

Hidden Gem! Fresh drinks, friendly service and great paellas. I was very impressed with the value and quality of the food provided here and would love to return! They do tend to try and bring you in as you walk past, however don’t take this as a bad sign. The 5th star would be given for added heating in the outside area.

It was raining, so we found a spot under an umbrella. The food was terrible (stale and cracked), and the service was a 5 out of 10. To get your order, you have to find and remind the waiter several times. This was my first, unpleasant experience in Spain.

Awful food that was reheated including the fries. Service is next to non with a bad attitude. Then I tried the vegetarian tapas ( wish I had taken a photo) it was shockingly bad.

Excellent for lunch, little over priced compared to Fuengirola but I guess rents are higher in Marbs. Recommended.

Very nice tapas bar, where you can have 5 different tapas for 15 euro. We’ve tried all three possible “tapas combo” and almost all of them tasted great… only two veggie tapas tasted weird. They have nice and tasty vino verdejo de la casa, but if you go for nonalcoholic option, keep in mind that their smoothies are incredibly sweet. The staff is super friendly and if you’re lucky they might even give you a complimentary shot of limoncello.

We actually had a good experience here and came back a second time during our stay in Marbella, but I’d advise against getting the tapas options. I had paella and my wife had beef entrecote. Both were great. It’s also in a very busy/lively spot if you want to people watch. The restaurant does try to attract passers by, so just take a moment to think and view the menu before deciding if it’s right for you.

Frequently asked questions about wine shops in Marbella

What is a wine shop and how does it differ from a bar?

A wine shop is a retail establishment where wine is sold for off-site consumption, whereas a bar is a venue primarily intended for drinking on the premises. While both locations offer wine, shops focus on inventory, variety, and retail sales, while bars provide a service environment with glassware, seating, and often food pairings.

How much do wines cost and what factors influence the price?

The cost of wine varies significantly depending on the grape variety, production method, region, and prestige of the producer. In a local retail setting, prices can range from affordable everyday options to premium and luxury selections, with factors like aging time and bottle size also affecting the final price.

How do I choose the right wine as a beginner?

Choosing wine as a beginner is best approached by identifying your flavor preferences, such as whether you prefer dry, sweet, fruity, or earthy notes. It is helpful to start with widely accessible varieties and look for regional characteristics that align with the types of food you enjoy eating.
