Best organic grocery stores in Marbella: find options near you

How am i supposed to brown meat that is two thirds injected water? Or make an informed decision about price? This is fraud. In my pan was added that beef and onion. No liquid what so ever. There is NOTHING on the packaging stating that its not pure beef.

Had popped by here looking for Hotwheels. You ain’t going to find any. So no point coming here. But it’s just your very average Lidl.

I don’t shop there anymore due to lack of respect I was standing on the cashier area and out of nowhere I’m being yelled at from the cashier lady speaking in Spanish telling me in a threatening way to go to different cashier, I could’ve responded and made it a big deal but I just left the store without buying! Lidl needs to have well educated, respectful, human-being employees for God sakes!

Check your bill because they put things you didn’t buy. Tried to scam me for 10 euros (they put overpriced bananas instead of sandia to the scale) and acted like it’s a “haha mistake”. The same thing literally happened to a friend of mine around a week before.

Better than some other Mercadona stores in the area, but still not perfect. The fresh fish section is definitely the highlight — much better than places like San Pedro, with more variety and fresher products. That said, the rest of the store feels quite standard and can get busy at peak times. Overall, it’s a decent option if you’re nearby, mainly for the fish counter, but there’s still room for improvement compared to other locations.

Always easy to navigate and the food is more Spanish than other shops which lean more to the expat custom requirements fish is especially fresh and a good choice.

Great supermarket with an exciting fresh fish counter, freshly cut iberico ham and nice meat for BBQ…anything else is as good usual in a Mercadona.

Fair prices, big selection of groceries and it’s very clean there. Crunchy, fresh bakery goods, amazings fruits and vegetables and the staff is helpful and friendly.

Everyone has their own favourite supermarket and Mercadona is my favourite. This store (like most) was ultra busy as it was mid day and rammed) but staff were helpful, shelves were well stocked and car park was full. I love the quality and the prices. I always feel like I’m in Tesco or Sainsbury’s. Highly recommended but avoid peak hours as its easier to navigate with fewer shoppers

One of the first visits when we are in Spain😄The staff is very nice and the own products are very good and cheap. The vegetables and fruits are fresh and abundant. The new parking lot is already better than the old, but unfortunately it is still quite complex with larger cars.

Service was very slow and the staff weren’t very helpful; it took quite a while to get our order. That being said, the salads were delicious, and the burger was good as well. However, we ordered chicken tenders from the kids’ menu, and they turned out to be grilled chicken rather than fried tenders — this should definitely be clarified on the menu.

The service here is definitely not a priority. When I asked for a table, the waiter with long hair simply said no, no, and went straight away talking to her coworkers. The food is delicious , especially the Caesar salad and burgers. They told us it would take time, but it didn’t! I asked for ketchup three times, and no one bothered to get it. I had to pay at the cashier. The waiting is definitely for the staff to notice you, not for the food.

The staff don’t want customers. I had to beg to get a table cleared. Then beg again for a menu. I don’t want to scan qr codes!!! Was the told that food would take at least 40 minutes. I ordered. It arrived in 5 minutes. A very mediocre wrap for 14.70e. Had to go to the till to pay. My advice; don’t bother.

Good choice of food, excellent presentation and also very tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant for vegans/ Vegetarians that serves mainly organic food. This restaurant is situated in the car park of this mall called La Cañada and is near one of the entrances by Leroy Merlín store. They also offer a good choice of breakfasts dishes. Don’t expect an extended wine list but they provide great juice / smoothies made upon ordering. They also offer their own filtered water. The prices are not cheap though but definitely worth it. If you like spicy food and need extra chilly: ask for it. My only point would be about what they define as coleslaw on their menu as it’s not! Must try their dessert! Ample parking ( free).

Deep disappointment with the service during my recent visit today Friday 23. The staff were noticeably unfriendly and appeared completely unapproachable, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere from the moment I arrived. 😡😡 Despite being a regular customer and familiar with the menu, I waited eight minutes before anyone acknowledged me—without so much as a greeting or even eye contact. It was clear the team had no interest in engaging with customers, and frankly, they looked like they didn’t want to be there at all.😡😡 I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was so unprofessional and uncomfortable that I felt it was important you were made aware. The service fell far below the standard expected of your establishment and needs urgent attention. Diabolical is the only word that comes to mind. 😡😡

Good fresh food! The dish contained a lot of rice, I had preferred more of the toppings. Besides that it tasted good. They didn’t have a toilet at the premise, so had to go back to the shopping mall for it. I prefer to wash my hands before eating.

Great experience at Manuka for breakfast. Cozy place and great atmosphere. Food was extremely delicious and yummy. Service was a little slow. Good prices. Enjoy your meal!

Excellent market with local businesses selling local products and the small restaurant booths where we were able to buy and have fresh seafood prepared and served for us was wonderful.

A lovely local food market, aimed at locals, for all their produce needs, from cheese, wine, meat and fruit and veg products, nice to walk around seeing all the spanish delicacies on offer.

Lovely fresh food markets full of wonderful fruits and vegetables as well as fresh meats and seafood. Protected from the rain and heat. This market is delightful.

Great market, great produce, top fish and seafood. But be careful where you eat. Places like Pi Coteos Del Sur take you for a ride and charge 42 Euros for a plate of mediocre sashimi… Sad.

This place is amazing for food lovers, more so if you like to cook your own food. Seafood market is great with the variety that I could never see in UK, most products are fresh, foraged mushroom are amazing but you may find warm inside portobello mushroom (a necessary evil 🙁 try red shrimp which are expensive but really big and fresh, there are few spice shop and artisan knife shop inside, parking nearby is expensive, the market closes by 3 pm, so… Early bird get the worm!! The cheese and wine shop is worth a try if you love local cheese with Rioja, the cheese and wine is moderately priced but definitely better than super marckets, most of the hard cheese are produced locally from sheep and goats milk bursting with flavour. If you fancy you can try rabbit and suckling lamb meat which is sold by the local vendors in the market. You will definitely find many things that satisfies your cullinary/ gustatory inquisitive thinking and you will not be disappointed for sure.

Mercadona is one of the best places to do your shopping in Spain. They have a wide variety of meats, vegetables and fruits. Mercadona’s staff are always welcoming and friendly. A high recommendation.

A very good supermarket with a wide range of products. We were able to get everything on our list. Great result. Only a 15 minute walk from the marina/fishing harbour which was very convenient for us.

If you want a one stop supermarket shop then Mercadona pretty much has everything …their own brand Hacienda is very good quality and very reasonable …also own brand cleaning products are good too !! Wines are amazingly cheap and Fresh Fish and seafood always top quality !

As with all Mercadona locations it’s very good. Has underground parking a plus. Clean and well maintained and stocked. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Access to the shop is easy and wheelchair accessible. Always very busy. Definately worth a visit. Highly recommended.

Worst Mercadona in Marbella, staff are very rude & unfriendly no matter how you greet them with smile and kindness!! Chaos literally nothing in the right shelf you have to spend a lot of time looking for it because staff tend to ignore intently. Prices are higher than other stores no more low prices like back in the days what a shame! NEVER AGAIN

Great, they always seem to have parking which is a big bonus. Good selection of produce but PLEASE bring back Earl Grey tea, I now have to drive an extra 15kms to Carrefour to get some!!

The best place of Mallerba

The parking is a bit small for summer season’s people flux, but the good prices, high quality and confidence that mercadona always offer make it go unnoticed 🙂

Terrible store. No staff, no Wi-Fi and whatever you buy wil cost triple the Aldi or even mercadona value. I wonder who frequents a useless store like this. The only good department is their cheese and dairy section, but it’s more expensive than even the Corte ingles. Useless store in the very worst area of Marbella … By the way, it was not very looked after, and looked dirty

The shop is a chaos. At the small food restaurant in the center they send you from the cafeteria to the meat counter to order. A minute later they open the cafeteria counter again, because there are too many clients at the meat counter. If you just ate there and want to leave the shop, you’re not allowed to do it by the cashier counters, have to go all the way back to the entrance and go against the flow out of the store. Ridiculous.

Best supermarket overall. Best average prices, massive choice of cheeses, beers, wines and spirits in particular. Helpful staff and welcoming checkout clerks. Easy parking, especially early mornings.

Alcampo is a big supermarket with a great selection of products You will find fresh vegetable frutes at meet market as well they have prepared plates to eat in place or take away; the service is excellent and fast. Thee winner selection consist Spanish origin. The prices are competitive

Good store in general. I only wish they had better fresh produce and more international products (authentic Mexican, German, Italian, Asian), not brands that people barely use or know.

Supermarket cafe, but for the price, was excellent. Just a few sandwiches/baguettes, some cake and some drinks but couldn’t fault it. Cheap as chips too.

Good spot to do quick shoping. Not too many people and good selection of products. Just be mindful on school hours as a lot of trafic on street at that hours

Friendly staff not like the guy in Aldi. Found a stunning Ribira Del Durei Red wine there for under 6 euros.

Reasonable prices and various product

The vast selection of fish, meat, fresh fruit and vegetables is amazing. The value for money is excellent and with a reasonable amount of parking. Highly recommended for odds and ends or for a full weekly shop.

Always fresh produce at great prices. Always has what I went to get. Amazing sea food counter, which gets topped up several times a day it is that popular My biggest problem is I forget they shut Sunday’s, i forget every year, buts not their fault.

Has very similar items like the rest of the supermarket chains. Lacks more variety. Im from South Africa, for a 3rd world country we for sure have waaaaay more options available within the supermarkets than this. Eg, u get lucky to find feta at Mercadona. Something are never a consistent. Feta is a sample basic item…

Great supermarket, itms are always fully stocked and very well presented. The store is always very clean and the staff are always very willing to help. No hesitation in recommending it to you for your grocery shopping…..

Quick and easy to navigate round, cheaper than the convenience stores. Top tip – try use the underground car park if doing a bigger shop as trolleys can’t be used when you exit the store, meaning if you don’t get a space directly outside you will have to make multiple trips to your car.

Very good supermarket 👌. Excellent fresh fish selections at very reasonable prices. Only issue is that quite a few products come from China. They should get those products from Spain and help the local and national farmers.

Well stocked and great location. Parking is ample and spacious enough. Inside the store it is not crowded and the way the items are arranged is quite good. We were surprised that during peak hours the staff was just one in the counter. Management should arrange a better schedule so staffs are not overworked

Fabulous as all Aldi stores. Good quality and fresh food. Perfect for stocking up or just for one item. Friendly staff, hardworking. Some items are considerably more expensive than at Lidl’s. I like the store, just a short drive to the Marbella Club and also to the Puerto Banus area. A pity it’s not open on Sunday. I love their mandarin juices , really fresh
