The Orange Tree

Came here for an evening meal in old town. The food was good. All the food was cooked well and tasted delicious. You could taste the quality and the freshness of the food. We sat outside and it was very cozy. Service was very good, they recommended dishes and seasonal flavours. Recommended to book a table in advance as it does get very busy.

The Orange Tree in Marbella’s Old Town is an absolute must! The food is incredible, fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented in the most charming setting under the orange trees. What really makes the experience stand out, though, is the service. The whole team is so warm and attentive, and a special mention goes to Frank, who made our evening unforgettable. He truly goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. If you’re in Marbella, don’t miss dining here, you’ll want to come back again and again!

Absolutely lovely place to go for a meal! Everything from start to finish was exceptional and the food is just amazing ! The people looking after us were so nice and you can see that they have built up repeat business as they knew so many people coming in for a meal… I would highly recommend this restaurant. Top class

The dining area is intimate, with both a cozy indoor space and a small terrace, making for a pleasant, though somewhat limited, dining atmosphere. Despite the size, the service is generally excellent, with attentive staff ensuring a smooth dining experience. However, one waitress was notably cold and unfriendly, which slightly detracted from the otherwise warm and welcoming ambiance. Given its popularity and limited seating, it's highly recommended to book in advance. Overall, "The Orange Tree" is a wonderful choice for those looking for fresh, flavorful cuisine in Marbella, with a personal touch. Enjoy!

We sat down at a table and were given the menus. We ordered two sangrias, and then the staff asked if we wanted to eat. We said no, and they said "OK." A few moments later, a woman (who seemed to be the manager) started shouting at the staff in Spanish. Then another employee came to our table while we were already drinking our sangrias and told us we couldn’t stay unless we ordered food. If that’s your policy, you should tell customers before they sit down or before taking their drink order. We only wanted to stay for about 10 minutes to have a drink—we were not planning to occupy the table for a long time. When I told them we were leaving soon, they suddenly seemed happy. This was unprofessional and very disappointing. I do not recommend this place. Worst experience in Malaga/Marbella in our 8 days holiday.
