Thee Best Croquetas I have ever had. I love croquettes and try many in different restaurants. The only thing is…. they disappeared. I really enjoyed them so much, they were there on my plate and then ..I blink ..:and they were gone 😗🤭.. Wasabi salad excellent sauce Best Homemade Fries in Marbella Empanada Espinaca and cabra queso good. Lovely Staff and the decor is chic! Thank you la Madrina!

Generally they serve tasteless and expensive food. Is it possible to ruin a croqueta? Yes it is possible to make it have no taste. They proved it. Is it possible to serve bread that is from the Olive Garden in Spain? apparently it is. And as other reviews have noted, portions are small relative to the price. Noted for €27 for your very small skirt steak, you also don’t get any french fries. So it turns into a 33 or €34 small steak if you wanted fries. And the steaks aren’t that good. We ordered three skirt steaks. One came out completely unsalted and tasteless. The other two were actually OK but why would you be so inconsistent on the same basic item? Drinks are also overpriced. Servers were gracious and hence 5 stars for them. But this place is a tourist trap. Avoid. There are MANY better places. PS And as an update from the following morning after dinner, most of us have an upset stomach. If it was only not if us in the group of 6 I’d say it was a coincidence…4 of us likely points to an issue with the food. You may think I’m one of those angry nasty reviewers who hates places for silly reasons. No, when they’re good, I am very very happy to say so. If you doubt it, you can find my reviews for other restaurants. We enjoy most places we go…just not this one.

It became my fav place for 3 days. Very hip vibe, absolutely fantastic food with a twist, good selection of vines, a fab service. Also, it doesn’t look like a cocktail place, but try their espresso martini- I try it everywhere and it’s on my top list now.

We had a fantastic dinner at La Madrina. The food was delicious and Manuel, Mateo & Dana were all made us feel at home. My boyfriend and I have quite a few food allergies making it difficult to enjoy a dinner out and they were able to accommodate us with a smile. We enjoyed the dinner as well as the cocktails and the friendly service. This has become One of our favorite spots in marbella for sure

Absolutely phenomenal. Warm, genuine service from start to finish, Robin and her team are simply amazing. The food is on another level: steak tartare croissants, tuna tartare bites, carpaccio, croquettes, steaks… every dish is a 10/10. I’ve lived in Marbella for 25 years and have never found a restaurant like this. Cannot wait to go back.

This is the best bar / restaurant by far in Marbella. We came to Marbella for 4 nights and came back every night for evening drinks and cocktails (and some croquettes!). Prices are great and service even better. Dana and Rafa are a credit to the business and go out of their way to chat and provide excellent service. The atmosphere is also perfect with some background music and a TV up for the World Cup. Would absolutely recommend La Madrina to anybody and will definitely be back to visit in the future. I really recommend this place! Very nice atmosphere. The food and cocktails were really amazing, we ordered entraña, gambas, carpaccio and tuna tostada for dinner and everything was delicious! I would definitely come back ! Didn’t have time to take pics of the food because we devoured it but the cocktails!!! The picture it’s the Mai tai and lychee martini, so delicious! The bartender studied mixology in NY and it shows! 10/10 recommend!
