I would NOT recommend this taxi company. On a positive note, the drivers were there to meet us as promised. However ...... The day before travelling I was sent an email by Findtransfers with a link to my account where I noticed that Costadelsoltransfer had increased the previously agreed return price by 40 Euro with no prior warning. I contacted the taxi company & the General Manager replied saying price increase was "due to petrol price increase & other costs". He also confirmed that the total amount was to be paid on the outward journey. What is the point of prebooking and agreeing to a price via Findtransfers if the taxi company can increase the price so much the day before travelling? PLEASE SEE ATTACHED EMAIL FROM Costadelsoltransfer GENERAL MANAGER. Arriving at the apartment I paid the previously agreed TOTAL amount PLUS the extra 40 Euro. When I asked for a receipt, the taxi driver told me they don't give receipts. On the return journey back to Malaga airport, at 830 Sunday morning, the driver said I would need to pay him extra to take the toll road as he said the traffic was very congested on the free road. I pointed out that his Google maps on the dashboard shows no delays at all and then showed him again on my mobile. He said it was unlikely we'd make the flight, so I told him I'd take the risk. We had no delay at all on the journey! The driver sped off with us at high speed, ignoring the speed limits for the entire journey. During the journey the driver was obviously very tired, yawning & stretching frequently & drinking 2 cans of Red Bull. He was veering across the lanes, swerving back when the tyres hit the rumble strip on the road. Many times on the journey holding his mobile phone as he read & sent text messages & also browsed pictures of cars on his mobile phone. When we arrived at Malaga airport the driver 3 times demanded 90 EUR cash from us, I told him I had already paid for both journeys in full on the outward journey as requested in an email from his General Manager. Eventually he said "OK sorry" & walked away. Upon returning to the U.K I contacted Findtransfers who helped me getting the additional 40 Euro back from Costadelsoltransfer.
